* Maria stayed on deck as the others went below. Pressing one hand on her forehead feeling the awful pang in her head as she released a crystal puff of air from her mouth. She was growing woozy, the aftermath of the three bottles she had drank earlier. The clouds were now overhead. She hunched over dragging herself over to the stairs. She lifted her upper body and called down before fainting on the steps.*

*After being woken from a quite peaceful sleep by an odd noise and small thud, Mason opened his eyes and saw where it had come from. Sitting there flat on the floor not too far from him was Arayel. He shot her a soft smile with an affectionate shake of his head, a small chuckle escaping past his lips as he did so.* Did someone get a wee bit scared? *He asked softly, a faint scottish accent dragging on his voice. Sitting up fully he scooted over right next to her and put one arm around her shoulders gently hugging her.* So love, do you still think this was a... How did you put it? Oh yes, a scatterbrained idea? *Though he joked about it he was still suprised that he'd actually gotten her to go along with this. He gave her one last gentle squeeze in hopes that it would take her mind off the storm that had undoubtedly scared her. Finally he let his arm drop off her shoulders and leaned back on his elbows waiting for her to respond. He really wondered what she thought now that they were actually aboard the ship.*

*Arayel merely nodded in assent to his first question, biting her lip faintly and eyeing the dimly lit hold nervously. She leaned into his embrace, glad of the warm comfort it afforded her.* Aye, a bit, you know how I feel about storms Mase. *She said in a whisper, though she slapped his shoulder playfully when he reminded her of what it was he got her to agree to.* Yes, I do actually, I have no idea how I let you talk me into this. Cap'n Sparrow is likely to keelhaul us as soon as they find us! *She said vehemently, lowering her a voice a notch lest anyone hear their whispers. She calmed slightly when he squeezed her shoulder, but another peal of thunder had her jumping into his arms as he leaned back, her face burried against his chest as she near sobbed.* I hate thunder, I hate lightning, and I bloody well hate rain too. 'Tis how I lost her... *She mumbled, her words muffled by his shirt. She sat there huddled against him for several minutes, until her shuddering stopped and her breathing was less ragged. When she looked up at him once more, an undeniable track of tears ran down her cheeks. Usually she refrained from showing this much emotion, but around him she hid nothing of what she felt.* So just how are we going to get ourselves up there? *She indicated the deck above with an upward lift of her head.* We can't very well spend the entire trip down here in the hold. We'll need food, not to mention water before too much longer.

*Eric felt a wave of relief come over him as she dissolved in his kiss and hadn't pulled away right away. He had feared she would. As they parted his hands wrapped about her waist and he smiled at her, noting the tears in her eyes and hoping they weren't sorrowful ones. He laughed a little and shook his head.* Of course I don't hate you. *He grinned, and his smile grew as she said she loved him.
He held her tightly as she cried on his shoulder a little and all at once he remembered Elinor, remembered how he told her he'd come back. But he hadn't exactly said for her, just that would come back. And he didn't tell her if he would stay in Port Royal even if he did return.
However the thoughts of Elinor left just as quickly as they had come. All he thought of now was Evelyn and how much he had thought about this very moment since the day he left her. He loved the way it felt to hold her in his arms again. He pulled away to speak when suddenly she slumped over onto the floor and sobbed as she begged him not to do this to her again. His brow furrowed and his heart skipped a beat. His worst dream was coming true, she was rejecting him. Wasn't she?
It wasn't often that he saw her cry, but when he did and it had to do with him, he felt terrible. He never wanted to be the reason she was upset...although it seemed to happen a lot. He got down on his knees beside her and reached out, running his fingers through her damp curls. He smiled a little.* Evy, don't cry. I'm not going to leave you. Ill always be here with you now. *He said softly, his warm gaze falling on her own. He hoped with all he had that his words to her were true. He meant them, and he wanted them to be true...*

*Will had just come back out on deck only to find Evelyn storming into Erics cabin and Tobbs helping to get Rose back into her own cabin. His brow furrowed a little and he figured one of the three had gone overboard and had been hastily rescued. He stumbled a bit as a blast of wind knocked him off balance and he glanced up at the dark clouds, blinking through the rain.
He returned his gaze to the deck and his eyes darted around frantically as he looked for Elizabeth, hoping that she had already went below deck. He knew she was a strong woman but none the less he didn't want her up on the deck when there was a storm. It was one thing to defend her against pirates, but to try and defend her against mother nature would not only make him arrogant, but ignorant as well.* Elizabeth? *He called, still not seeing her.
Finally he decided to search for her below decks but just as he got to the stairs he saw Maria stumble a bit and then faint on the steps. He could tell by her staggering that she had been drunk.* Maria! *He cried, rushing towards her. He knealt down and scooped her up, swiftly carrying her below decks to get her out of the storm. He laid her across a bench and patted her cheek a bit.* Maria, lass wake up. *He said, giving her shoulders a bit of a shake. However when he caught site of her braclet the dream he had of her earlier shot through his mind and he blinked, having an overwhelming sense of connection to this girl. His brow furrowed but he shook his head.* Maria, wake up. *He repeated.*

Evelyn shook her head slightly but as he spoke to her she blinked and looked up at him. "Really mate?" she asked him as she sniffled and wiped her tears away one her sleeve. "Ye swear?" she asked him lifting her brows a bit. She looked his face over and sighed heavily as she scooted towards him and embraced him. "I jus'...I can' lose ye again. I, I mean...does this mean ye'll be stayin' on the P,Pearl then?" she asked him stuttering a bit as she spoke softly into his ear and rubbed the back of his neck a bit.
"Gah! An' ye got me all bloody cryin' an' whatnot." She todl him as she sniffled once more and pulled away from him slightly, wiping her tears and shaking her head. "Now I CAN'T let ye go mate. Yer the only one who's ever witnessed me cryin'..." she told him as she gave a small smirk. "...I'd have to kill ye so ye don' go tellin' everyone else I actually cry..." she said with a soft laugh while sitting on her legs. Her honeyed eyes looked him over and she couldn't help but smile. This time though, she truly WAS happy. There was no shadow linering over this this time.
The sudden sound of thunder sounded and she sighed and she pulled back a few strands of her moist curls. "Bloody 'ell...I hate storms..." she groaned a bit as the ship began to rock violently. Her lips quivered because she was still a bit cold, although she was in dry clothes, she still felt the sting of icy waters on her skin. "Gah...an' I was supposed ta join Luis fer dinner tonight too..." she said looking to the door and then cautiously looking back to Eric.

*Eric laughed warmly as she embraced him again and commented on him making her cry.* I swear Evy. *He said, the laughter still in his voice though he meant it in all seriousness. He grinned and folded his arms as he sat back on his heels. He glanced around the room in a playfully suspicious manner and he looked back at her with a raised brow.* Im the only one huh. Well that could be excellent blackmail you know. *He winked, though he was beaming inside to know he was the only one she'd cried around.
He noted that she was shivering and he rose, going to his bed and grabbing up the thin brown blanket that sat at its base. He threw it about her shoulders and leaned against the wall beside her.* And yeah, I suppose that means I'll be staying on the Pearl. *He stated in a thoughtful tone, rubbing his arm a bit. He grinned a little, stumbling as the ship rocked and the thunder rolled across the choppy ocean waves.* Ah, I like storms. They keep things intersting. *He added, glancing out the port hole.
However she suddenly brought up Luis and Eric felt a pang of jealousy when she said she was supposed to have had dinner with him that night.* Dinner? With Luis? *He asked, raising a brow. Instictivly he reached out to lock the door when he heard a voice...Marks voice call out from the other side.* Mark, mate everything okay? *He asked, opening the door just enough to peek his head out. He did it for two reasons, to answer Marks call and make sure Luis wasn't nearby.*

Evelyn took the blanket with a shrug. Normally, she didn't like people helping her out this much, but she didn't care if it was Eric. He was seperate from everyone else, he always would be. She pulled the blanket about her tightly and yawned a bit as she headed over to his bed when he stood and looked out the door. She found it as comfortable as his own really, perhaps a bit more sunken in, but still comfortable. "Yeah, actually...he wanted me ta have a bit o' dinner with him in his cabin I think. Although I doubt that'll happen now really. He's alrigh' but I jus' don' think I'll be able ta go tonight. I'm gettin' bloody tired..." Eve said with a yawn.
Suddenly she found herself biting her nails. If Eric had been so defensive of her before with Luis, now it would be even worse and she feared the tension she could raise between them now. They already hated eachother...but now...who knew. Besides...Eve had never REALLY seen Eric jealous really...she had no clue how Eric would act but she doubted he'd be too jealous really. He always was the calmer of the two of them.
She looked to Eric and raised a brow as he spoke up to Mark and she decided to simply allow him to handle things. She liked this really, not having to fend for herself SO much. She found herself slipping on top of the bed and sitting up in it, but her head rested on the bed's backboard. Her eyes glanced about his simple room and she noted it was quite bare.
The ship rocked again suddenly and she jumped a bit, trying to steady herself. "Bloody 'ell!" she cried as she clung to the bed tightly.
Luis scowled as Eve was scooped up and taken away. He clenched his fists, but he knew if he lashed out now, in front of the WHOLE crew, he'd be tossed overboard in a second. He was already treading on difficult terrain with the rest of the pirates really. His dark eyes scanned the ship and he sought to escape the harsh winds and rains, following Eric's footsteps until he saw him take her to her room. He growled and listened in. Catching onto a few words but merely groaned and turned away.
As the door opened and Eric stormed out, Luis hid in a doorway quickly and then smiled slyly, hoping he had been sent away by Eve. He smoothed out his hair and made to her room when suddenly she too went off in search of Eric and slammed the door to his room. He sighed and shook his head. This was becoming a more difficult task than he thought.
Just as he was about to give up for the night he heard the creak of Evelyn's door and peered in. It was bare except for a few things here and there and he looked both ways cautiously before he entered. He closed the door slowly, and then glanced around. There were some papers scattered on a worn desk and he read a few notes upon them. They were mostly just blurbs here and there, a slight recording of her mind but nothing really.
He then began to scrounge about her belongings. Looking through her drawers, shaking out the contents of her desk drawer, and then looking around her bed but he found nothing. Luis shook his head. 'WHERE is this damned map!" he growled. As he made to lean back on his hand while sitting on the edge of her bed Luis head a soft jingle as he hit her pillow. Luis looked down at it and lifted a curious brow. What was it doing in there? He began to shake the pillow and then found himself tearing it to pieces, making a bit of a mess and then he found it.
The small piece of metal fell to the ground and he took it in his hand. It was a necklace, the pendant was in the shape of a ship and in the center of its hull lay a heart shaped ruby. He smirked evilly a bit and then pocketed the piece. He didn't know rightfully WHY he took it. Perhaps he could find some sort of clues from this, or perhaps he could use this piece to bribe the information from Evelyn should he encounter her alone soon.
With that, he cleaned up her room, hiding the bits of her pillow under her mattress and then quickly left her room, pocketing the chain and giving a sly smirk, quite content with his finding and hoping to encounter Eve soon...

Chuckling at her first response he nodded in agreement, a goofy grin spread across his face.* Aye he probably will, but it should be exciting to meet him. Don' ya think? *His eyes went wide as he was nearly knocked the rest of the way down when she lunged into his arms. Letting out a small chuckle he hugged her comfortingly.* I know it is, love, but we'll be alright. Besides, you've got me here with you, I won't let anything happen to ya. *He added with a soft smile, hugging her gently once more. Looking around the hold he sighed slightly dejectedly, knowing that she was right. After a few moments he spoke again.* Well I suppose there's really no easy way to go about it, whether we try to sneak up or we go in plain site the result will be the same. We may as well just get it over with. *Holding her against him he stood up, bringing her to her feet with him. Taking a step back from her he put his hands on her shoulders and smiled.* Shall we then?

Sarah turned to watch Hawk and Rose walk away, when Rose suddenly turned away. Hawk looked frustrated. Sarah walked up to him to keep him from chasing Rose. Hawk mate, let 'er go. She strongwilled and ye can't stop 'er from helping during a storm. Don't worry, as soon as everythin's set she'll be ok. Sarah started walking towards Rose. We'll help 'er out some so we can keep an eye on 'er. Come on now, don't worry. Sarah continued walking towards Rose, but then stopped and turned around to face Hawk. Hawk, do ye know anythin' about Luis?

Yes Mase I know ye'd never let anythin' 'appen to me. *She said, calming considerably. She watched as he looked about the hold. She allowed a small smile to touch her lips as she spoke. And I do suppose you're right, actually meeting Cap'n Sparrow would be fun. *She sighed softly as he pulled her up, and smiled as she looked into his eyes. She could see he really was excited about being aboard the pearl. Ever since she could remember he'd talked about becoming a member of the Black Pearl's crew. In fact, he could recite the many stories about the ship and her Captain from memory. And always with the same excited gleam in his eye. In truth, it was the only reason she went along with his plan. If it made him happy, then she was happy. She thought about what he'd said. He was right, either way they would get caught, and she thought they stood a better chance if they just came out into the open on their own. Raising her hand to rest lightly over one of his, on her shoulder, she nodded slightly* Yes, let's go let them know we're about. Perhaps they'll look kindly on us if we actually admit that we've stowed away.
