::Jack blinked in shock when he heard the cannons going off.He also let out a few colorful curse words. He felt the reveration of the cannon and looked at the puff of smoke coming up from the side of the haul. well in any case nothing was broken::
::Next he scanned the general crew for the guilty party and his eyes landed on Mark. He smirked broadly.:: "Ye know lad, we'll be needin those guns for a real battle, savvy?"

Roux nodded then reacted when the cannon went off. He stared stupidty for a second at the wall then shook his head. The cannon fire was from their own ship, but due to lack of commotion on deck, he assumed it was a accident.
he glanced at Linea. "I'll bet a gold coin that was one of the new crewmen." he smiled, then took her hand. "come on. let's see what the commotion is about." And he went up on deck with her and peered around, waiting for a explanation.

Lily laughed then ducked her head instinctivly at the sound of cannon fire, her hands felw to her throwing daggers then paused, looking around. Mark was coming up from the lower decks with a "oops" look on his face.
She smirked just a little and looked to Will and Elizabeth. "Alright there? No missing fingers or toes?" she looked over at Jack then at Mark with a laugh. "aw, Captain do we really need to cannons? I think it's a bit more fun to just go firing them off into nothing. Nice wake up call for the late risers of the crew, wouldn't you say?"
With that Lily giggled and went over to Mark. "It's alright lad. least you shot it out of the ship and not through the haul."

Sarah pondered Maria's question for a bit before responding. I don't know love, hopefully good. Things always seem to turn out for the best when with Jack, even if it takes a while to reach that point, if you know what I mean. Sarah looked around the deck and it seemed that everything was taken care of, she jumped at the sound of a cannon firing and pulled her knife from her boot as she looked around for other ships. All she saw was an empty horizon. Now where did that come from? She then saw Mark climbing back onto the deck from below deck with a sheepish grin. Sarah rolled her eyes, slightly annoyed but thankful they weren't already under attack. She let out a deep sigh of relief. Well Maria, it appears we aren't under attack and all the chores are taken care of. Why don't you and me take a little stroll below deck where the rum is stored and celebrate a bit? The cannon had set Sarah on a sort of fighting high and she needed something to calm her nerves. She, having grown up with Elizabeth, also despised the drinking of rum, but it did have it's highs, even if there were many lows. What do you say Maria? No heavy drinking, just a bottle or so?!

:Linea jumped at the hint of the cannon fire and instinctively her hands flew to the weapons which she had not yet put on. Taking Roux's hand as they made their way on deck she looked around for some sort of explanation.:
:Looking at Lily, she grinned and said.:
Lily! I'm glad I wasn't still abed at this hour or I'm sure I would have suffered from a heart attack and run up here in naught but my night things. Oh well, good thing to be up anyways I gather.
:Upon seeing Mark, she laughed.:
The poor dear, shooting the canons off for no reason. Jack'll give him an earful I'm sure.

* Gazing out to see she slightly jumped at the sound of cannon fire. She rose a brow and gazed across the deck to see Mark come up. She shook her head and grinned. They had bet on sea for only about a couple hours but she got so comfortable so fast it seemed as if they had been on sea the whole time. She was driftin again, as Maria had done so many times these days when Sarah had insisted a quick drink. She rose a brow holding a perplexed look on her face.* " Sarah... Ye know I don' drink..." * Maria folded her arms across her chest and leaned against the wooden pole. Sarah did look a bit desperate to intake some alchohol* " Sarah, what brings ye te the bottle?"

Sarah rolled her eyes when Maria said she didn't drink. Now I know that's a lie. What about our last adventure? I found you drunk below deck. Besides, I don't usually drink either, but that cannon shot aroused my fighting nerves and I believe only a drink will settle that. I only need a bottle or two ant that'll be all for the trip. I think it's a vile drink, I did grow up with Elizabeth ye know, I take after her. Sarah winked at Maria and started walking towards the stairs leading to the lower decks. Come on Maria, for a friend?

" Was all Evelyn..." * Maria said accusingly when last drove to the bottle from Evelyn ordeal. But of course Sarah decidingly continued towads the stairs... She held back for a moment until Sarah had stated to drink for her* " D'ye think I'm goin' te drink 'cause o' ye... Yer bloody mad! But.." * She said unwrapping her arms and walking towards the stairs slightly in front of Sarah.* " I'll 'ave a drink 'cause I want rid meself of bloody worthless memories.." * Maria glided down the stairs searching for the galley. When they entered she found the cupboard stashed with full bottles and grabbed two, handing one to Sarah* " Te a better life.." * She said lifting it in front of her. She popped off the top and brought it to her lips letting the sweet golden liquid, poison and wash away what was left of her*

Mark knew the second he came on deck he looked guilty, it's not like he meant to do it or anything. He grinned at Jack
"Sorry mate, won't happen again, I'll try not to be so damned clumsy next time. You would think a man of my nature would no better right?"
Mark looked over to Evy and grinned
"Yes mate, I did have a look below decks, and as they say 'curiosity killed the cat'."
Mark said with a laugh. He wanted to talk to her about Luis but wasn't sure if she would really want to, maybe he would talk to Eric they seemed to know each other, they also seemed to hate eachother too.
Mark said praying he would still be on the ship within the next few seconds. He did get a laugh out of it though. He walked over to Hawk and smiled. He wanted to get to know him better. He figured Hawk would get to know him better and wouldn't look at him with such hostile eyes. He didn't really know what to say to him, but he did the best that he could.
"Hey Hawk. I'm Mark. I just want to talk to you for a bit and get some things settled between us. We haven't met yet and I already feel you have shoved me off. I know that Rose is your sister, and I know what it is like to feel protective, but you can trust that I would never hurt her. I want you to know that I care for her, and that I just want you to realize that."
Mark put his hand on the mans shoulder. He looked into his eyes for some sort of agreement. He just saw a cold look pierce into his own eyes. That same chill ran down his spine.

Selina gave a smirk as the Captain Barbossa told her he was happy not to see her shot again. Then she stood back as the Captain exchanged a few words with Michael. Barbossa was a BIT passed his peak, for certain, but it seemed he STILL held his charms. Selina gave rather disgusted glances at the women on either side of him but shrugged. She supposed she had a job similar to this long ago, but she was passed all that now. Looking over to Michael she suddenly realized HE had no idea of her past as a predator among men and she wondered what he would think on all of it.
Selina turned her eyes and scanned the bar, looking about for any sort of entertainment really, but she saw none and she sighed heavily. Yet, looking over Michael again, she figured she could have a BIT of fun with him. Perhaps she wouldn't enjoy herself 'fully' but a bit of innocent fun would do them no harm. "Night then Captain, we shall be seeing you back upon the Blood's Call then." She said with a smirk as the Captain disappeared up the steps of the Tavern and then faded into the blackness of the dingry room upstairs.
"Right then, Michael. Welcome to the Blood's Call. Now, unless you have any desire to find yourself some sort of 'entertainment'," Selina began as her green eyes gazed around the many women eyeing Michael curiously, "I suggest we leave for the ship. You need a bit of a tour, and I...well, let's just say I'm worried about someone being a piece of lamb among hungry wolves is not my desired comfort level." She told him as she gave him a wink. As Michael gave her a smirk she turned and then said over her shoulder. "I was talking about YOU mate." She spoke as she led him through the smoky, darkened tavern and they headed outside, where the brokened cobbled streets almost glistened in the soft, pale moonlight.
"There!" Selina said as she pointed towards the docks. "There's our ship. Hope its to your liking." She said simply as she placed a hand upon her hip and looked him over carefully. Michael was indeed a grand specimen of a man and even SHE, who had been used to her fair share of men, couldn't take her eyes from him for too long.

Evelyn gave a hearty laugh as Mark replied to her comments and she gave him a slap on the shoulder just before he left and said, "Is tha' so, Mark? Well I bet yer happy yer not a bloody cat then..." She said offering him a wink. He left to seemingly, have a chat with Hawk and she raised a brow, then looked about the decks. It would be easy sailing for the time being. The sails were unfurled and Port Royale was quickly fading, barely visible upon the horizon at the moment.
Her honey eyes traveled about the deck, and she found herself setting off to work. She had begun making a few secure knots here and there and had even brought out a mop and a bucket and had begun to swab the decks. She stole a glance towards Eric every now and again, but she said nothing. Evelyn was used to silent, hard work. After finishing this up she looked at her hands, at the moment they were raw and reddened from the hard labor but she could care less really.
The sun was beginning to climb higher, and sweat was beginning to glisten upon her brow. Looking over at Eric she began to notice more and more that he had INDEED gotten a bit...larger. His shoulders seemed broader and she could only guess that all the hard work in the Blacksmith with Will had been paying off. Eve lifted a brow and gave a smirk but then shook her head. She looked up as a sudden certain someone had come up and she frowned a bit but nontheless gave him a friendly nod. "Good ta see ye up here Luis. If ye wouldn' mind given a hand it would help." She stated as she pushed past him, dumping the dirty water over the side of the ship.
Her honey eyes turned about the decks and she bit her lip. She didn't feel right being in the same area as Luis and Eric really so she decided to head down. "I'll be below decks if ye need me." She stated with a solemn nod, heading down into the lower decks of the ship to put away the mop and bucket.
Eve took a glance into the galley, hearing familiar voices and spotted Maria and Sarah inside. Maria was obviously drinking herself away and she rolled her eyes slightly. She was beginning to regret ever pushing the lass to drinkin' really. Nontheless she gave a small smile and said, "Would ye bloody leave some fer the rest o' us Maria, mate?" She told her lifting a brow and then leaving, heading deeper into the ship.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Luis came up on decks, breathing in the crisp smell of the salty seas and looked to Evelyn with a bright smile. "Evelyn...I..." but she caught him off then. Instead it seemed she was displeased he had spent most of his time lounging about below decks and Luis put on a disappointed face. "You are right, Evelyn. I SHOULD have been a bit more active." He said as he watched her leave, his eyes locked upon her until the last bit of her faded.
Then he looked about the decks and noticed Eric was up here. Luis rolled his eyes, but gave a sly, evil smirk. He passed Eric, 'bumping' into him and uttered but a few words. "Quite the charming one, isn't she?" he said as he made leaned against the side of the ship and gazed out at the seas. He took out a dagger and instead, resulted to simply tossing the dagger, rather expertly, at the mainmast. Hitting dead center everytime. He made a POINT to do this in front of Eric really.
"You know, I was trained by the BEST swordsmen in Spain. I NEVER miss my target." Luis said aloud, hoping Eric would catch his words. "My family always wanted the VERY best for me." He stated with a bit of a grunt, brushing back a few strands of his greasy black hair and then turned to leave below decks. "That's why I could NEVER come back for Evelyn. And trust me, I will not hurt Evelyn...oh no. What I'll do to her..." he said softly and in almost a whisper. " will be MUCH worse." Luis finished with a satisfied grin, sucked on his teeth a bit and then headed below decks, making his way towards Evelyn. All Luis was doing now was pushing Eric's buttons. He WANTED the man to crack. He WANTED for him to lay a hand on Luis. It would only make Eric seem like the bad guy really. But he was proving to be a bit more resilient to his actions and Luis furrowed his brows. He was going to have to say something REALLY drastic to get Eric to strike him, and with Evelyn telling Eric over and over not to fight, he could see Eric cared enough for her to heed her word. This concerned him. HOPEFULLY, for Luis, there was nothing more there than friendship, for if their relationship held any deeper roots, than he would be in for a challenge.
He was hoping he could have a little chat with her. All he wanted was to get this infromation from her, she would crack soon. He simply needed to be persistant. And perhaps...if he played his cards right...he could possibly get a bit more...
*Eric finished securing his bit of the rope and double checked it, just to make sure it wouldn't come loose. Standing back with his hands on his hips he glanced around to see what else needed to be done. His dark eyes watched as Mark went over to talk to Hawk and Eric grinned a little.* Of all the bloody people he picks to like, he chooses the Captains daughter. *He snorted, finding it almost as amusing as him being 'with' an aristocratic Elinor.
When he caught sight of Evelyn mopping the deck he watched her a bit and the more he did the more he would realize just how much she had really changed. Whenever she would glance over at him he would instinctivly look away and whistle, grinning a little at the fact she was looking at him in the first place. He turned to help a crewman scrubbing the deck when he saw Luis and he felt his jaw clench and his muscles tense.
He watched with warm eyes as Evelyn left and then his gaze turned cold as Luis bumped into him, commenting on her. Eric rolled his eyes and raised a brow as the man chucked a dagger into the mast, it was obvious he had excellent skills that Eric knew he couldn't match. Eric wasn't nearly as good with a blade as he was with his bare hands. He prided himself more on his strength than his skills. He grunted as the man spoke again.
Trained by the best huh? Well good for you mate. *He said, his voice dripping with sarcasim. He looked the man over and grinned a little, folding his arms.* Well your parents may have given you the best, but somewhere along the line it looks like it all went to hell. *He smirked and then rolled his eyes, storming after the man as he headed below decks obviously to find Evelyn.
If you couldn't set aside your own damn pride and social status to come back for her like you promised then you're a bigger ass than i thought you were. You don't deserve her anyways. *He growled and started to walk off when suddenly he turned, his eyes boaring through his opposition.* You do anything to her at all and I'll come after you. I don't care if its the last thing I do but I WILL come after you. *He hissed.*
Luis smiled slyly as Eric came after him and he turned on his heel, his hands in his pockets. "Is that so? You'll come after me?" Luis asked aloud. "I hardly think THREATS area good thing to pass around between fellow crewmates. Are you attempting to start a quarrel?" Luis asked aloud, hoping those around and up on decks would hear. " I would NEVER hurt Evelyn..." he said slyly, giving Eric a smirk and then stalking towards him, keeping his nose inches from Eric's. "I would face FAR worse than YOu to simply obtain but a piece of that woman. You better keep your hands to yourself though. Eve doesn't take KINDLY to your more violent actions. Don't you think you've put her through ENOUGH with the simple fact that you replaced her with that other woman? I may not know much about what you and Evelyn had, but all I know is the look in Evelyn's eyes when she saw YOU with Elinor was not a very, 'happy' one." He told him slyly.
Eric was cracking. He could tell THESE words hurt more than his attacks on Evelyn really. There was something there between the two of them. And he would do all he could to wedge whatever closeness they ever had. "Although I had MY reasons for leaving her, it seems almost as if nothing were holding you back from staying with her and yet you left. I wonder...could you possibly regret leaving her? From the way you speak, it sounds as if you might have harbored some sort of...LOVE for this woman..." Luis began giving a hearty laugh and shaking his head. "Hard to believe really...that woman even had my heart at one point. But I see I was a fool. It was fortunate, however, that I became a fool no more and saw her for what she truly was. NOw, if you'll excuse me..." Luis said as he made to leave Eric's side, hoping he'd react and lash out at him.
*Erics breathing grew swift and his fists clenched and unclenched at his sides. He wanted desperatly to use them but used all the strength he could muster to hold back his temper. He had to hold back, if not for himself then for Evelyn. But with every word that dripped off the mans dispicable tongue his temper was ever fed.
His eyes narrowed as the man came within inches of his face but not a single muscle of his moved. He didn't even blink.* I know I hurt her, and I know I put her through a lot of hell and I'll never forgive myself for that. But I never once though of abandoning her because of who she was. YOU however did. *He growled, then rolled his eyes a little, starting to grow annoyed with the constant reminder of Elinor.* As for Elinor, she's not someone I replaced Evelyn with. Shes just a friend. *He stated, suddenly very glad he hadn't actually courted her yet.
He lowered his eyes a little and shook his head.* At least she knew I wasn't coming back. I never made her any promises. *He said softly, looking back up at Luis. Eric did harbor great regret for ever having left her that day. Not a day went by that he hadn't though about her. However his eyes again turned cold.* I did love her. I loved her because of who she was and your a bloody bastard for not being able to see that she is an amazing woman. *He said, no longer able to contain his anger. He lashed out and shoved the man up against the wall by his collar and with all the strength he could muster Eric punched him across the face.*
As Eric spoke Luis only laughed inwardly. He was reaching his boiling point, he knew. Suddenly, he was snatched by the collar with incredibly great force and his eyes widened. Before he could utter anything he was punched across the face har. Eric had made contact with his nose and mouth and Luis sprawled to the floor, coughing up blood. He looked to ERic and gave him a bloodied, satisfied grin as he looked past Eric.
Eve had just come up from putting the mop and bucket away when she blinked. She had caught Eric's very LAST sentence and her mouth fell open in shock. He had said he loved her. Eve frowned a bit looking him over. It had been a LONG time since she heard ANYTHING of that sort to her. As he pushed Luis to the wall and punched him suddenly Eve's eyes grew firm. "ERIC! STOP MATE!" she called after him as she rushed towards Eric and pushed past him a bit, bending over to tend to Luis. "Luis, mate, ye alright?" she asked lifting a curved brow. She placed her hands on his face and she looked him over. "Gah! Can' ye bloody keep yer hands to yerself!" Evelyn roared as she stood and turned.
Her honeyed eyes looked deep into Eric's and she shook her head. "I ASKED ye NOT ta fight, didn' I?" she asked him. She placed her hands upon her hips and sighed heavily. "I asked ye fer ONE bloody favor an' ye couldn' do that. Figures..." Eve stated rolling her eyes. Her words were harsh, but they weren't NEARLY as deadly as they COULD be. Frankly, hearing what Eric had said moments before made her soften to him a bit and she sensed, ALMOST, as if her walls were crumbling again and she didn't like this feeling, especially with knowing that Eric's heart belonged elsewhere now...
