*Will looked down at the hatchet in his hand as Jack brought attention to it and he quickly looked over at Elizabeth, though it was obvious she was just as stumped for a story as he was. He grinned akwardly.* I was uh...Well I thought I would- *He babled but the Captain spotted Erics blonde head in the barrel.
Will watched as the man snatched his hatchet and with one quick motion cracked the barrel and Eric came tumbling out of it with an almost startled look on his face. Will laughed a little and nudged his friend with his foot then looked back at Jack.* Jack, pretty much everything and everyone on this ship isnt something you see everyday. *He grinned and raised a brow at the woman comment, as did Elizabeth although she smiled as well, knowing that it was true.
Her mere presence would render Will stupid or speechless, although he grew out of that a bit now. Still, when it all first happened for them he went on a wild goose chase for her. Something he never would have done had she not been involved in it.* Hey now, Im not the only example here. You are the one with two children you know. He winked and watched the Captain go and he grabbed his wifes hand, looking at Eric as the man rose.* Well now that youve embarassed yourself and freed yourself I'll be going. *He winked and hurried off with Elizabeth.*

Evelyn had gone up onto the decks and took a deep breath in as the gentle seabreeze blew through her hair. She closed her eyes and took off her boots as she made her way up that mainmast and found herself curled inside the crow's nest. Then as she took out the gold spyglass from the crow's nest and looked about the horizon her spirits brightened a bit. Central America...THAT was what they were after this whole time. The map was still firmly placed inside her memory and she looked down at Jack Sparrow as he headed down the hall. She lifted a brow but shrugged.
He had a copy of the map, the only other one besides the one tucked into Eve's memory. She had given the Captain the copy of the map in case anything should happen to her. If she should die, he would have a copy of the map and he could continue with the search, and should the map be taken she, Evelyn Pearl, had it tucked neatly into memory. It was a flawless system really.
Her honeyed eyes blinked as she folded in the spyglass and she almost found herself dozing the warm Caribbean sun when she blinked and caught the slightest call of a gull. Evelyn frantically reached for the spyglass and looked around the horizon but saw no bird around. She sighed heavily. The cry of a gull meant shore but there was no sign of it at the moment. It had seemingly, come and passed as quickly and softly as a whisper.
With that Eve scurried down the rigging towards the decks of the Pear where she found herself pacing the ship a bit. Many thoughts churned within her and she finally sighed and shook her head, instead, deciding to take a seat upon the sides of the Pearl, watching as the grand ship sped away through the Caribbean waters. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Luis dressed himself and then gave a smile. He knew exactly what he would need to do now to get Evelyn to finally give into him. Time was running short, he knew. He needed infromation on that map by tonight. Quickly, he made towards the galley, where he made to search for any pieces of even MILDLY tasty food. He would make their dinner a private one. One devoid of the eyes of the watchful crew. Perhaps one that was in his room.
Suddenly, Luis' eyes landed upon the bottles of rum and he grinned maliciously. He remembered how drunk Evelyn had become in Tortuga. She obviously was vulnerable to the golden liquids power and he would make certain to bring much of it to their small dinner. Rum could easily make someone freer with their tongue...AND could 'cause them to forget their morals...

::Jack smirked at Will and grinned: "true mate...but see...when I meet women I talk to them..you know...as to where you wait until their lives are in danger to do anything mate..." The joke was playful and he smirked and left, walking back up on deck, whistling his song as he went::

*When Eric saw Jack coming over to talk to Will and Elizabeth he quickly ducked his head back down into the barrel, trying not to fidget too much and make noise. Then suddenly he heard a loud bang followed by a loud crack and he cried out as he came tumbling out of the barrel, landing on his back as he looked up at the three around him. He proped himself up on his elbows as Jack spoke and he laughed akwardly.* Isn't that the truth. *He snorted and nodded softly.* I'll deffinantly do that. *He stated, watching the man go.* And its not like I was hiding from Luis anyways. *He grumbled.
He would never hide from that man. He took him once before and if he needed to felt he could stand his ground again. He had in fact been hiding from HER. Not wanting Evelyn to discover his spying on her conversation. It seemed he was just starting to get her trust back and he didnt want to spoil that for anything. Not this time.
As Will nudged him with his foot Eric smacked at the mans shoe and rose, grinning a little as his friend and Elizabeth hurried off. He dusted off his clothes and adjusted his shirt and as he returned on deck he noticed Evelyn sitting upon the side of the Pearl. He grinned and walked over to her, nodding his head.* Well you certainly look thoughtful. *He stated, leaning against the railing by her, wondering if she would trust him standing there...considering he had sent her overboard before...even if it was on accident.*

Evelyn sat there calmly, clenching the sides of the Pearl instensively when a familiar voice from behind startled her a bit. "Eric!" she said lifitng her brows and giving him a slight smile. She hadn't thought he would be seeking her out like this. Eve took a deep breath looking out at the horizon as he leaned against the railing next to her and she blinked. "Erm...hehe...you jus' bloody keep yer distance mate." She told him giving him a wink. "I think if I fall over this time, you wouldn't care ta bloody save me." Eve told him giving him a wink.
" 'M sorry fer burstin' in on yer room back there." Evelyn told him with a sigh as she stared out at the seas, not wanting to let her gaze linger on him for too long. He was beginning to have an effect on her again and although she fought against it, she just couldn't help feeling very comfortable around him again. As well as secure, even if at the same time she felt rather frightened....
Still, she found her eyes turning back to his and she ruffled up his hair a bit. "Ye never were able ta bloody tame that head of hair, were ye?" she asked him with a small smile. Her eyes passing over him and she clenched the sides of the ship tightly, getting a bit of her inner frustration out by squeezing the side of the ship tightly. "I was wonderin'...when ye get all that gold we're bound ta find...what do ye think ye'll do with it?" she asked as she cleared her throat a bit. She found leaving a silence between her and he only made her mind churn far more than it needed to, and at times she found herself almost bursting out with the REAL phrases she wanted to say to him, but she held back.
Instead she wanted to simply bask in his friendship, his smile, his hearty voice, and his warm nature. Evelyn could be a cold one really, but it had been he who had brought some sort of new light to her. But now...he was gone...and she hung her head a bit as she thought about this.

*Eric grinned as she told him to keep his distance but he didn't move from his spot and fixed his eyes on the sparkling ocean in the distance. As she questioned if he'd save her he raised a brow and glanced at her out of the corner of his eyes.* Dare to test that theory of yours? *He asked, inching towards her with a bit of a laugh. But he stopped and leaned on the railing again.
He waved his hand at her and turned so his back and elbows were now against the railing and he looked at her, noticing she was trying not to look at him for too long. This made him grin.* Don't worry about it. *He stated, brushing away her hand and laughing as she ruffled his hair. He ran his own fingers through it and grinned a little.* Whats wrong with my hair? I get up, put my fingers through it, and go. Its great. *He beamed.
When she asked what he would do with the gold when they got there he shrugged looking at her.* Actually I havent even thought about it. Didn't really come here for the gold. *He stated thoughtfully, wondering what he WOULD do with it once he got it. Then he grinned and glanced at her.* Ill have to use some of it to fix up my house you wrecked and to get a new door and crates. *He grunted, and noticed her hang her head. He lifted her chin with his hand and smiled.*
You hang your head a lot around me now Evelyn. You should really smile more, I'd feel a little better. *He said, just wishing they could be as warm and free flowing as they had been a year ago. But he knew the walls and coldness were there for both of them, even if those things were growing seemingly less dense.*

As he asked her if she wanted to test that theory of whether Eric would dive in and save Eve if she were to topple in. She gave a soft, half hearted laugh and shook her head. "No, mate. I wouldn' want ta test THAT anytime soon...I'd hate ta have ye get all soaked and cold all because of me." Evelyn told him offering a wink but not able to keep a definitive smile upon her face. She couldn't bring herself to really be all that happy around him, she hadn't been in a long while and she was almost forgetting how good it felt to feel that way.
As he brushed her hand away she smirked and looked away from his face, leaning back a bit, careful as to not allow her teetering self to tip over the edge. "Well it suits ye, its wild an' free...don' know HOW it'll fit into that bloody conformity though in Port Royale when ye go back..." she said as she trailed off. She muttered something about Elinor but bit her lip and stopped herself shaking her head. As he said his purpose for being on the ship wasn't to find the gold Evelyn lifted a curved brow.
"Really? Then...then...why'd ye come?" she asked him biting her nails a bit and then taking a glance at him and suddenly chastising herself for doing it. "Sorry mate...nasty habit really." she stated. Then she gave a soft chuckle. "Oh...ye call THAT li'l shack a house then, do ye?" she asked him nudging him slightly and shaking her head. " 'M sorry mate, but ye know, not wanting ta get hurt and trying to survive at the moment were more important then being polite. Although now I see ye'd rather have had that bloody house in good shape than ta see me alive..." she stated rolling her eyes.
Her tone was a bit indifferent really. She had meant it to be a joke, but she wasn't sure it came off that way really. Somewhere from deep inside she was screaming and she couldn't stand trying to hold it back so much but she had to. There was nothing else she could do. She really, almost threw herself at him in his cabin moments ago but he had stopped himself and that was that.
She closed her eyes but soon felt his warm hand lift her chin and she pulled her chin away from him, letting it hang again. "I just...I'm....I can' really find a reason ta hold my head up high at the moment." she told him as she stared at ths glittering seas. "I know I love the sea, an' that's about it. But beyond that...I've just...had a lot on my mind really. Like, ye know those dreams I'm havin'? Well...they're jus' not leavin' me. I TRY ta shake 'em off...but I can't and I'm startin' ta worry they might never go away..." she said with a sigh as she shook her head and looked down.
"And then...there's you...I don't even know if I made the right choice really...fer stayin'...I just...I dunno. Sorry if I haven' been all that cheerful lately, there just hasn' been much ta celebrate about, ye know?" Evelyn's voice had dropped to almost a whisper as she looked up at him. Her eyes were sad and distant, she was trying to shield herself from him again. She was curling into herself and she didn't like to do this, but she had to. For her own good.
"But...if it'd make ye feel any better...then I'll make it a point ta smile." she told him as she cracked a small, barely there, smirk. She pulled the leather piece from her hair and sighed heavily, letting her curls blow sideways in the wind.

*Carrie had fallen into a silence thinking of Cap'n Jack, as she always affectionately called him. She looked at him there dark eyes standing out with a glimmer that was brighter than gold. Her heart ACHED that she couldn't just tell him how she felt and why she was always quiet and staring off into space. But Carrie shook herself out of her stupor, and pulled out her sword, the blade was dull and she took out a rock to sharpen it. She tried to pay more attention to the sword, but to no avail, she could still see Captain Jack Sparrow's radiant face glowing in her mind's eye.*

*Elizabeth smiled in amusement when she recalled on all the morning's events. Cannon fire, a fight with a new crew member (who apparently had old aquaintances with Evelyn), and Eric stuck in a barrel all added up to a rather busy day.*
"I think we'll find more than gold on this adventure, wouldn't you say Will?"
*She glanced over to him as they made their way back on deck. When Jack spoke up in a joking manner she shook her head and held a laugh from escaping, remembering the last time she'd sailed with Jack Sparrow and the willingness Will had to save her.*
"Well he won my heart even before the medallion's discovery and journey; the trip simply showed me he'd do anything for me."
*Rather speaking to Will as she said her words softly and looked over to him, she brought her lips up to his and kissed him, slipping her arms through his as a alty breeze swept by. Returning her gaze in his eyes as she drew away, a playful smile brought itself slowly upon her lips.*
"Well, since you hastened to my rescue and was bold enough to go through immeasureable lengths to save me, maybe I should be caught this time around again-after all, last time things ended up wonderfully; surely something splendid could happen again? Or was it just a matter of coincidence? What thoughts have you on this?"

*Tobbs had been up with the sun; well, technically speaking, she'd been up most of the night, unable to sleep due to a rather restless and anxious feeling she had. Every time she shut her eyes, something came back from her past, and though she tried escaping it, it just wasn't working.*
*She began contemplating her future with the crew and the captain as she sat in a chair in the morning, not really wanting to go up and seeeveryone just yet. Ever since she'd met Jack, he'd been able to change her ways slightly enough and made her feel she could care for someone, as well as the crew had made her feel along the year she'd stayed with them. But now...as she looked back, it was just....exhausting.*
*With the cost of feeling cared for and not being completely angry all of the time, memories resulted in her thoughts, faces of the past haunted her mind, and the feeling of unresolved affairs grasped her heart and let pain revolve around her every breath. Who wouldnt think such things were exhausting when they happened every single day?*
*She had a great time with the crew and with Jack, and she wouldnt have traded it for anything, but it was hard to run from something you couldnt escape; the ghostly reflection of life that lingers in each heart can never be unattached.*
*By now she was pacing, as morning had faded and the day had gone longer out, and she was contemplating if she should ever really tell Jack, or anyone for that matter (including herself) of what had happened in her life. She hated making a deal of such things, and she definitely didnt want to cause drama for her own behalf....so why not just keep running?*
*Letting her mind wrestle with the thoughts, she dressed and took up her effects, letting her hair down loosely and making up towards the deck. When she got there, she saw Will and Elizabeth with one another talking, and she had seen Eric and Evy tossing around a few words, as well as a few others that walked about the deck.*
*Glancing over at Carrie and catching her gaze towards Jack, a surge of jealosy and anger rose up in her. Tobbs, frankly, couldnt control her temper....at all....and so it was twice as hard to stop herself from having a few choice words with the lady, but then again, she'd grown accustom to her on board, and somewhat favored her being there, so she clenched her fists and glanced towards Jack's direction, wondering too what the man thought of the lady, and likewise....what he felt about her own self.*
*Shrugging and heading for the side of the ship, she swung her legs over the side and began sharpening something, eyeing the sea's spray occasionally and letting the wind take up her hair. Right now, she didn't want to think, she didn't want to ponder, or feel, or care, about what chaos was trying to grip ahold of her every emotion. She just wanted....to run away again....*

:Linea grinned as Roux kissed her hand and turned her eyes on the newer crew. Thinking for just a moment, she smiled.:
My dear, do you really think we should tell them what they've gotten into? Letting the struggle a little while is quite entertaining I must say. They will learn or become as mad as the rest of us, which I must say isn't half bad, do you? At any rate, this new crew is very interesting and I'm sure this ship will be in a drunken stupoor soon enough.

"Sarah do ye think...?"* She turned to Sarah and saw her walking drunkily from side to side. She stopped and let loose the poison into the ocean* " See ye can't 'andle alcohol.." * Maria had drank a good amount of four to wash away her longings, but she had the strength to handle the stuff

*Michael nodded as Barbossa consented and left the two there in accompany of the two wenches that were sitting with him. He wondered what kind of background Barbossa had overall, and then had a sudden urge to discover just what Selina’s history had in depth…well, he could figure that out sooner or later he told himself. *
*The man then watched in curiosity the farewell that Selina gave to the captain, drawing his eyes away from the pair and glancing around the room to consider whether or not he should stay the night here or make for the ship. He didn’t know what means the crew had for harboring him aboard, and so he made no expectations on his sleeping quarters for the night. He’d never liked complete luxury, so it didn’t matter much.*
*As Selina spoke up, he caught her eyeing the rest of the women there and caught on to the fact she’d noticed those who were trying to attract his attention, as he had openly noticed the men who were watching Selina with lust. *
“Entertainment? What need have I for more when my night’s been filled with your presence? Of course, more couldn’t hurt, though considering those who wish to give it, I would prefer to dwell on what I’ve enjoyed to what could be stated as giving me future “pleasure”. But my thanks to your welcoming.”
*He listened to the rest of her speech and smirked when she mentioned the bit about the lamb, a grin broadening upon his face when she said it was him she was referring to. Feeling the playful vibe, he played along as the two walked out and looked towards the docks and the ship.*\
“That’s it then, is it? It’s much to my liking, and with a tour, I’ll feel right at home in no time I’d say. Then again, it isn’t too familiar, I must admit, to be around an enchantress as herself and her groveling crew mates. It might take some time to….”adjust”.”
*He had the strongest desire to pull her into him again as he gazed down at her, clenching his fists and refusing to give in. Looking back over to the ship, he sighed lightly and gestured her to continue *
“Shall we?”
*Making for the ship, he followed her up aboard and looked around, his eyes catching a few of the crew in a drunken stupor, giving Selina lusting looks and desiring glares. Preparing for another event like he had made before, he nudged eyhr in the shoulder slightly and spoke up to her, not letting his eyes glance down to her in fear he’d become as the others were.*
“So these are them then? Not a bad bunch…for wretches, that is. They look awfully mesmorized, wouldn’t you agree?”
