Sarah smiled at Carrie and Chris. Yes I did rest well, just not enough I suppose. Maybe I'll be able to sneak in a rest after we start off. Sarah yawned again. What about you two? 'ow did you sleep?

" Relatively well..." * He looked around the deck. There seemed to be a large amount of people. And he was sure more would come.* " How's it like? Living a life of piracy.." * He asked Carrie and Sarah* " When I was young my parents told me I would either become a thieve or a pirate. It seem's that there presumption of my becoming has came true... Or at least I think It'll be, if this crew can accept me..."

Hawk started when Maria approached him and grinned ruefully, running his fingers through his hair. "'S it that obvious?" he asked sheepishly, then sighed. "'S 'ard...I wish I could've been there for 'er when she was growin' up, dealin' with Mum's death an' all...no man's ever treated 'er 'onourably...I dunno what t'expect from Mark. But 'ere I am ramblin'..." Hawk gave Sarah and Chris a grin before turning his attention back to the sea, sighing.
"Good t'hear," Rose said brightly, promptly attacking the food. In between breaks to breathe, she said, "'m fine, 'm used t' th' odd hours..." She then stopped and grinned at Mark. "Hawk'll like ya in time, mate, don' worry. 'E's just bein' protective...can' imagine why." She added the last part teasingly, finishing off her plate and waving to Eric as he entered.

" It's alri'. I mean. It 'as te be a brotherly instinct. If I 'ad a brother an' 'e did tha' te me, I'd go crazy..." * She looked up at him* " But at least I'll know 'e loves me.." * She smiled wondering what it would be like to be in Hawk's position.Would she have the same reaction of protection? She wondered if not having any family was either a good thing or bad thing. She sighed deeply wondering if some day she would know how it felt.*

Mark looked over at Eric and grinned.
"Thanks. Help yourself to it, a good day starts out with a good breakfast, or so me mom says 'ny way."
Mark said. He hadn't met this man, so he held out his hand.
"I don't think we've met...I'm Mark Andrews. Glad ta meet you."
Mark looked at Rose and smiled again. He couldn't help it he smiled everytime. She could be killing him and he'd probably still smile.
"Glad you like the ham. I like to think I am a good cook. Don't worry about Hawk. I'll talk to him soon, and see if I can get some things straightend out. For now I gotta find where my bunk is...Slept out oun the deck last night...heh heh.... not that I minded it much. I got to look at the stars. Counted 15 shooting stars last night. see you two later."
Mark said to Rose. He waved to Eric and walked outside to see if he could help with anything.

Evelyn woke late in the morning, she had had her ususal night of tossing and turning and couldn't get herself to sleep until a few hours into the night really. It was something she didn't understand really and had been only affecting her recently. She would, no matter how hard she tried, NOT be able to find sleep and would spend most of the night tossing and turning in bed. She usually cursed and had remedied it by taking a walk about the ship. It would usually give her some fresh air and then she'd find herself asleep within and hour but still it was really becoming an annoying tick of hers.
She shook her mane of long, brown, curls and she combed her hand through them briefly, slipping a plain white shirt over herself as well as slipping into a pair of brown trousers, a deep red sash about her waist, her usual bangles, feather earring, and various jewelry as well and then groaned a bit. "Bloody 'ell...mornin' already?" she seemed to ask herself as she stretched a bit and yawned. She took a piece of leather and wrapped her hair into a low ponytail, whil random curls fell into her face anyway, seemingly rebelling against ANY sort of conformity.
She opened her door and took a deep sigh. The sounds of the crew could be heard and she figured they had been up for hourse. "Ah, Christ...they're all up before me." She half growled. Evelyn was really always happiest when SHE was the first to wake. She prided herself really on having the longest day of any of the crew, she found that work had been something she had REALLY been dedicated to upon the ship since Eric left and she never really put thought into why, but then again, Eve never really put too much thought into anything.
As she made her way towards the deck she found herself following her nose. Something smelled terribly good and she KNEW no one on the crew really had too much skill with cooking, besides maybe Hawk, but she wondered if it had been him indeed who had fixed something in the galley. Allowing curiosity, her nose, and her growling stomach to get the better of her she proceeded to the galley where she looked inside.
As she gave a small grin ready to belt out a sarcastic remark on WHOEVER was the cook really she noticed only Eric and Rose present. She blinked and widened her eyes. So he DID intend to join them on the voyage then.
"Mornin' Rose." Evy said giving her a small, awkward, grin. Then she turned to Eric and cleared her throat a bit. "Ahem, Mornin' Eric mate. G, good ta see ye here...an' so EARLY..." She stated a bit awkwardly. Her eyes scanned him over and she pulled them away quickly, heading towards any sort of scrap of food she could get her hands on.

*Eric grinned at Mark and nodded his head, his dark eyes dancing about the food the man had made. It was going to be nice having a good cook on this trip. Eric scooped him up a couple pieces of ham and some toast and plopped down on the wooden bench at the table and dug in. He hadn't eaten much at the Turner house considering the uncomfortable situations and so to have a good bit of food in his stomach would do him some good.
He was rather enjoying the breakfast and at first didn't even notice the familiar voice behind him until she addressed him personally. He glanced over his shoulder towards her then smiled and tipped his head.* Morning, Evelyn. I am here early, hard to believe eh? *He laughed, returning to his meal which was already almost gone.
He had expected to see Luis come in jointed to her hip but she had come alone which brought him a great deal of relief. He figured he would do well enough around the man with the entire crew around but if ever he was alone with him, or even alone with him and Evelyn that the real akward situation would begin.*

*As Will and Elizabeth boarded the ship he caught a familiar Port Royal face out of the corner of his eye and he smiled, waving a hand at Sarah as she stood with the small group. As his eyes landed on Maria he smiled at her but was immediatly reminded of his dream during the night. Figuring he would talk to her about it later he shrugged the memory of it away and turned back to Elizabeth, a wide smile on his face.*
I'm glad you came. *He said and hurried towards the delicious smell where he found some of the crew members already endulging themselves in Marks breakfast. Will cast the man a sideways grin as he forked up a bit of food.* Im glad you came too! *He said, holding his plate up to him then setting it down on the table as he slid in opposite Eric. He hadn't put much in his plate, only a small slice of ham and half a piece of toast considering he was still full from the rather large dinner the night before.*

Rose wondered as Mark left; wondered why he'd smiled so widely at her, why his words seemed to ramble whenever he spoke to her. Surely she didn't have that kind of effect on him...she'd seen other women, older and better-looking than she, make men babble like that. Surely that couldn't be the case here...
She sighed, finishing off her second plate of food, and waved a greeting to Evy and Will as they came in. She noticed the tension between Evy and Eric...silently, she slipped out of the galley, feeling a bit awkward being in the same room as them.
Out of the corner of his eye, Hawk noticed Mark come back on deck. He decided against saying anything to him, for now...

Eve grinned brightly as Eric said a surprisingly happy hello and she took up a bit of ham and some bread. She piled a bit upon a plate and went towards the table, taking a seat across from Eric and giving him a grin. "Yeah, jus' a bit surprisin', its just I never knew minds from people as slow as ye can work THIS early in the mornin'." She told him as she put a bit of ham in her mouth and gave him a playful wink. Just then Will had entered and Evelyn looked up. "Will mate, good ta see ye." She said as she took out her flask of rum and took a swig out of it.
"So, 'xactly what IS the reason ye gave Elinor for joinin' our crew, I hope the poor MISS didn' get too bloody angry, we wouldn' wan' THAT ta happen." Evelyn said rolling her eyes but saying it as politely as possible. Eve had been trying to remain polite around Eric and at the moment she was almost feeling at ease with him once more, with both Luis and Elinor out of view, it almost seemed like something COULD still lie between them. God knows the physical attraction was still there, at least on her end. Yet, perhaps HE didn't even like her in that way anymore?
Still...she felt SOME of the feeling she USED to have for him. Eve looked into Eric's eyes with a smirk upon her face but then, quickly she pulled herself away from his gaze. She felt the pit of her stomach tremble a bit and she was almost...no. She couldn't be...there was no way she could be feeling...nervous...

*Eric grinned at her as he shovled the last of the ham into his mouth and pushed his plate away. He shrugged a little, messing with the loose piece of the belt around his hips.* Yeah well, I never said my brain was working yet...only that it was here early. *He said, loooking back at her with an ever growing grin.
He laughed a little as she brought up Elinor and rolled her eyes. He was actually amused by how much this woman seemed to hate her. How much the two women seemed to hate eachother! I just told her that I didnt trust- *He began but quickly hushed, not wanting to tell her the reason he came was because of his distrust in Luis. He fidgeted in his seat a bit, watching Rose leave then he shrugged a little.* Just that I thought I could help out the crew. *He stated, clearing his throat and glancing at her.
He caught her gaze and held it for a moment and then smiled a little and rubbed the back of his neck. It felt nice being just the two of them, no Luis or Elinor. He wondered if anything would ever happen for them again but he doubted it would ever happen. As she looked away he smiled a little, and suddenly felt surprised by the fact that he felt something stirring inside him. Feelings? No it couldn't be feelings, he had lost those months ago. Right? He still found her beautiful, and of course still rebelious but surely that was all the feelings he felt.*
So, uh...how'd you sleep? *He asked suddenly, cringing a little as the question sounded rather dumb coming from him. But at least it was something to disrupt the silence between them.*

Evelyn's grin grew brighter as he said his brain wasn't truly working. "Well isn' THAT the statement o' the bloody century!" Eve stated as she ate her meal quite calmly, finding herself not ravenously gulping it down this morning and not knowing really why. When he began to answer her question he had cut himself off and Eve looked up instantly. He had begun to say something about mistrusting something...or someone. Evelyn furrowed her brows a bit but returned to eating.
"Help out the crew then? Sounds good..." she said casually as she took another sip of the rum. "So, yer plannin' on goin' back an' returning with 'er then? Good...good. Ye've finally found a home." Eve said ending with a deep sigh and brushing back a few of her wild curls that dared to fall upon her plate of half eaten ham.
"Sleep?"Evelyn asked as she lifted a curved brow. She blinked at him and shook her head. It was an obviously awkward question, thus not truly meriting any sort of real concern behind it. "Alright I s'ppose. Truth be told, I never DO sleep well really...especially recently..." she said and as the words slipped off her tongue she bit her lip and looked up at him. "Er...ye know...jus'...bad memories I s'ppose...you?" Eve cringed inside and rolled her eyes at herself. She had freely JUST told him she wasn't sleeping well. No one was supposed to know that...and yet after only being AROUND Eric for a few minutes alone she was already revealing herself to him, even if but a little.
What WAS this affect he had on her? She thought she had killed everything associated with HIM months ago...or at least she tried to. Apparently somethings seem to put up quite the fight...and to put up ANY sort of a competition with Evelyn Pearl was to really say something...

Sarah saw Will wave a returned, glad that Elizabeth would be joining them for this voyage. Sarah listened to Chris, as he asked a question about piracy. She bit her lip a bit while she thought. I wouldn't quite say I live a life of piracy...it's confusing...prehaps Carrie better answer the question. Sarah laughed a bit, but didn't want to think about her 'life of piracy', it's not that she was ashamed being a pirate, but was she really a pirate? I mean when she wasn't on a voyage she lived like a lady, not on a boat, not like a thief. Could her life really be considered a life of piracy?

*Carrie put a hand on Sarah's shoulder* "Don't be troubled by questions liek that dear. You live your life like respectable woman and like a pirate, you are the best of both worlds Sarah. As fer me... I am nothing more than a pirate and scaliwag who 'as no hope of attractin' a man to marry who is pirate or not. But you Sarah, you have hope of living an almost normal life." *Carrie then turned to Chris and smiled* "The life of a pirate be the one for me. Tis the only one with enough adventure and daring to satisfy me and my squimishness. I have not the temperment to remain on shore and be a proper lady to some man who tells me what to do and how to dress and how to speak. So what think ye of a life of piracy, Chris? Does it look inviting to ye?"

::Jack eyed Chris then nodded at him as he ran off. A new man on board was always a good thing, provided he was a good pirate....then there was Mark.....:::
::He watched his two children talk amongst each other, and could guess the source of the trouble...Mark.......and Rose probably liked him. Well he'd be keeping a close eye on the young man.....::
::As the rest of the crew began to wake up and move about, Jack tugged the ropes holding the sails in place and unfurled them with a crack. The black sails shone like ink in the dawn light and Jack smiled that much more. He'd be sure everyone was aboard before he guided the ship from the docks.::
::anyone watching the captain could see he loved his ship, and moved about it with confidence...and some sort of demented grace....or what Jack thought was grace. He could smell someone cooking breakfast and he smiledand looked out into the water. There was nothing like sailing out to sea during the dawn hours::
::Finally, with expression that bordered on wild excitment Jack took the wheel of the pearl, glanced around the deck and shouted: "HOIST ANCHOR!"
