Kalin had made his way to the Gold Mermaid with everyone else. he just went along with the majority of the crew, and figured they'd find something to do. Some of the crew were clearly getting drunk, when Jack lept up and shouted for all of them to return to the Black Pearl. Kalin didn't hesitate. Jack knew something was wrong and he nodded at his Captain, whow was with Tobbs.
"I'll go on ahead, Captain. take care of Tobbs."
He flung the door open and ran for the docks, knowing Jason would follow him no matter what. and the pair of them were two excellent fighters. If trouble was waiting, maybe he and his brother could hold it off until Jack raillied the entire crew. or at least sound the alarm, so to speak.
When he saw what was clearly a royal navy vessel in the docks, Kalin blinked in shock. There wwas only one person stupid enough.........or brave enough to attempt to catch the Black Pearl in her home Port of Tortuga.

as Kalin had expected, Jason was right behind his twin brother. And he too blinked in shock upon spotting the royal navy's ship docked next to the Pearl.
"This has to be Norrington." Jason muttered, and his grey eyes just made out the figures of men moving around the decks. His jaw clenched. The Navy was invading their home. how dare they! Jason's sword hummed as he drew it and turned his eyes towards his brother.
"let's give them hell." He muttered. And he ran up the docks, and grabbed hold of the nearest rope that would let them swing onto the Pearl. His brother was next to him has he scaled the side of the Black Pearl, silently as shadows. They'd do their best until Jack arrived.

Laurel had been strolling the streets well into the evening when she caught sight of Jason and Kalin running past.
"WAIT!" She cried and ran after them. "What's the hurry?"
Then she saw it. The navy vessal. "Norrington?" She questioned, shocked to see anything of the Navy perched here. The Commodore must be suicidal to be here. The navy knew that attacking here would mean heavy loses for them. The whole island was made up of pirates. They would be outnumbered! Why would they be here?
When Jason and Kalin began climbing the sides of the Black Pearl, Laurel joined them. She'd be damned if she let any of the snobby naval officers take her ship! Yes her ship, because it was like her home. "oh let me at 'em....I'll do some damage.....where it counts..........right between the eyes......." She muttered. "Poncy buggers thinkin' they rule the oceans.....well just wait until I get my hands on them.....they'll be eatin'. my steel....."
Laurel had a odd habit of talking to herself when she was angry.....

Leesil waded in the water, until Rhys mentioned their lack of transportation back to the ship. Then he smirked as she waded out of the water, and followed everyone else onto land. Leesil watched her leave, then stayed on the docks to dry off. After warming up in a nearby tavern he returned to see Norrington's ship docked next to the Pearl. his eyes widened. what in the bloody hell did Norrington think he was doing here?
Absolutly confused, Leesil watched as some of the crew began to climb onto the ship. Leesil was quite clever when it came to climbing and he managed to scale the hull before the others. he landed on the deck with a gentle thud, and sunk at once into the shadows. where was Norrington. He found the bugger, dressed to the nines in fact. And in Jack's cabin......only Jack would have a room like this......
"Well.....Commodore Norrington, I presume." Leesil grinned, looking he was sure, quite wildly out of place with his long white hair and odd eyes. He tiltled his head to the side, as if watching a mildly amusing opera. "Hmm...somehow I thought you'd be less..........poncy......" Leesil grinned widely. "So....what are you doing in a cabin that is not rightfully yours? I thought the navy's dignity was above comandeering ships........"

((OOC: *dies a million times over* >.< Feh...this erm...isn't the plan I had in mind. Technically, the Naval ship ISN'T docked at Tortuga, that WOULD be suicidal for the entire crew and Norrington wouldn't DO that, and secondly, the ship isn't displaying its colors, that's ludicrous as well and thirdly...well the whole ickle outline i had going with Bossa and Tobbs...a bit useless at the moment. In my last post as Norry, it mentions them being off the COAST of the isle, he's not about to risk his entire crew to catch Jack alone. >.< Again, I'm probably being an ass right now, but honestly...there was a whole ickle system going, Tobbs and I started this whole thing and well...actually, sorry not going to bring Tobbs into this, she's brilliant at keeping calm and not taking this stuff seriously but...well...when you have a storyline, albeit loose but something you wanted to do JUST before you leave the site for a month and then...well its not the way you planned, just...kinda leaves things unended in a way for Evy so...whatever. Not to mention, Norrington looks idiotic for having his ship docked and I dunno, didn't want him to seem like that, not some idiotic rivalry, but the smart kind that wouldn't get caught so EASILY but...*shrugs* Won't be posting...somebody go stuff her in some mental institution, have her knocked out for weeks, or I dunno *shrugs* And Commodore will be played by Tobbsy from now on, so there we go. And HONESTLY, really didn't want to leave like this but Jack knows how I can get about this stuff when its about my characters and the ickle ideas I might have had. Sorry everyone, really, just CAN'T take this and keep on posting so oh well. Sorry all...)) <<<<Little Tobbsie Edit *hugs Evy* thoguth I'd put in the general outline so rpg doesn't confuse anyone since was ickle misunderstanding I could have prevented ^.^ *sighs at self for not posting outline as got it awhile ago now that checked* meep! kk here it is (note: a bit of a spoiler for whats to come, read posts below this and THEN read outline if...well w/e hehe::::::
The Commodore decides the best way to finally go after this Captain Jack is to simply dismantle his crew. If his crew is taken from him, he'll be a lot worse off. So he'll be gunning for ways to destroy our structure and whatnot, example, perhaps kidnapping Tobbs his close confidante and RUMOURED mate....
So the Commodore moves on out towards Tortuga with that one prisoner in toe in the cells below in order to ask him anything that might come up. Upon nearing Tortuga, they see the Pearl docked. The Commodore of course is excited and others want to just blast the place to the high heavens, but the Commodore decides a bit of intel could be found on Jack Sparrow's legendary ship. So, in attempting to decipher and get more infromation from Jack, thinking he could possibly get information that could lead to capturing other pirates, maps, treasure, etc. He boards along with one other,Mr. Perry, his second in Command.
Before he gets on board, the crew barely recognizes the naval ship that's off in the distant waters, seemingly waiting for something. The crew is sent back to the Pearl, and are just arriving when Norrington stands his grounds in Jack's Cabin. After persuaded to leave by Perry due to the increasing numbers of Jack's crew returning, Norrington and Perry make their exit. They are about to leave when they see Jack, Evelyn, and Tobbs return. Tobbs decides she needs to throw up, so she makes haste to the side of the ship with Evy.
Norrigton and Perry make off with Tobbsy AND Evy, because I know if the Commodore had the chance to take TWO pirates at the same time, he would, BUT Evy's going to struggle in the ship because she's only slightly less drunk than Tobbs and whatnot and in the struggle falls into the water after hitting ehr head on the s. The Commodore wants to go back, save Evy because she's like having problems swimming whatnot, Mr. Perry urges him not to and then the signal to start bombing Tortuga goes off and he can't. BESIDES he'll see one of the crew go diving in after Evy anyways.
One of the crew does in fact hear Evelyn struggling, and dies over to save her. Unfortunately...well, you should read such things in the rpg! And with this little event, we might have Barbossa or D'Argo activity...*nudges Bossa and will send PM* Just a general outline, there ya go! Sorry for interruption,a dn don't worry, all can stay and none is deleted!!!!!!!! Thank ya!>>>

Tobbs glanced around at all the fast movement. She blinked and looked at Jack with the most puzzled expression she could have ever made.
“Wha-? Wha’s goin’ ON, cap’n?”
She faintly heard the words Norrington and HERE before she really caught on. She was, after all, completely drunk, so give the woman a break! Her mood swing came immediately, and in an instant she was infuriated.
“THE BLOODY INGRATE THINKS ‘E CAN JUST SHOWUPEREANNA…ANNA WON’T GET THE CONSEQUENCES?!”
She was tugging on Jack’s sleeve by the time she ended her sentence, in a mad dash towards the Pearl. She was basically following the others since she couldn’t really tell where she was going. She has a bit of Jack’s sleeve still in her grasp, or so she thought, and she finally made it to the side of the ship.
“Erm…migh’ need alilbitaelpere Cap’n…”

Rhys heard shouting and Norry and more shouting and Pearl and then even more shouting. She couldn't make sense of it, but everyone seemed to be in a hurry. Stumbling to her feet, she dropped her mug on the floor and walked, or tripped and crawled to the door. Pushing it open, she looked around with blurry eyes.
The crew, her crew, well the familiar faces of her crew was running for it. Pushing herself back to her, feet she stumbled forward attempting to follow the familiar faces. There was what looked like Jack... and was that Jason? She could hardly see... the world kept spinning. With a groan, she managed to get up the gangplank and head towards the side of the ship. She attempted to use the side as a a railing, but it failed.
Her feet gave way as she tripped over some coiled rope, throwing too much weight to the railing, she toppled overboard and started falling towards the water. As she fell she saw in through one of the port holes, there was Dar. His eyes locked with hers as she fell, "Help!"
Then there was a splash, and nothing... she was knocked out cold.

The Commodore watched the man before him enter. Apparently his arrival aboard the Pearl had not gone unnoticed. Unsure of how his plans had been foiled, the man wondered whether his ship had been seen from the shorelines; an unfortunate coincidence, of course.
His set jaw showed no ill effect had been taken from the pirate’s words. He’d heard enough insensible insults from the likes to gather that taking them seriously was an obvious mistake. Somewhat upset that things were not going according to plan, his eyes were focused upon the stranger’s actions.
“I would say I thought more of you, but then….”
The unentertained smile that followed was more of a quick flash and lasted for only a second. Perry hastened into the room as silently as the Commodore assumed he could be at such a speed. Determining what reasoning brought Perry in, Norrington returned his attention to the pirate before him. Displeased, he continued on uninterrupted.
“You’ve thought correctly. Instead, it’s a matter of ascendancy; perhaps you would call it leverage-I hear pirates are quite familiar with such terminology?”
The Commodore wasn’t one to reveal what he had in mind to the opposing side, but he was well aware that establishing a hint of what the other could already be assuming could, often times, cause a mislead reaction. Perry cleared his throat to get the Commodore’s attention, but something else had delayed his response. It seemed the pirate he was speaking to had noted it as well. Someone has just fallen off the ship and requested the man’s assistance….passed by the window of Jack’s cabin…a perfect opportunity to dismiss himself.
“While I can’t say it was a pleasure, I’m sure I’ll be taking up where we last left off in the future. Now, if you’ll excuse me…”
Norrington never excused himself from such a situation, but he had no choice in the matter now. Judging by Perry’s continual gestures, he assumed there were too many of Jack Sparrow’s crew aboard. Nonetheless, he slipped through the door and held himself in the shadows to avoid confrontation with the rest of the pirate crew. Silent, he slowly made his way towards the boat that lay aside the Pearl.

Tobbs had been helped aboard and was somewhat leaning on Jack for some support. She sensed his cautioned mood and decided top lean on a nearby crate might prove better in the end. She muttered and glanced around, eying for any shadows that passed.
“’OW DARE THE BLOODY IMBESILES COMEABOARDOURSHIPANNATHINKWEWONKNOWNUTHINABOUTIT!!!BILGE RATS, THELOTTATHEM!!”
She looked enraged really, and her words were shouted out as loud as she possibly could. She glanced around and thought she saw Evy approaching….wondering if she was seeing straight, she called out to her as she boarded the ship (with some help ti seemed, for she too looked a bit….out of it…)
“’EY EVELYN MATE! ‘URRY UP SO CAN FIND THESE PACKAENGLISSSSSHHHHDOGS!”
Standing, she quickly fell over. Catching herself, she went back over to Jack, trying to keep still so he could focus. It wasn’t working too well, and all of a sudden she felt rather…sick…
“’EY….EVY MATE….thinkin I might need ya….’o boy….not good…”
Grabbing the woman’s arm, she insisted she accompany her to the side of the ship. The two were definitely intoxicated, and just as Tobbs thought she was about to be fine, she reeled her head over the ship’s side and…well…let it all out? Yes, rather sickening, but she did, after all, drink a lot. Coughing and leaning against the ship’s side, she muttered over to Evelyn.
“’oy mate, ye alrigh’? I think I’m feelin’ a bit…a bit..”
She prepared for another round of rum competing with her stomach, but she held it in. Clearing her throat, she sleepily glanced over into the shadows…something was moving…and in an instant she felt a hand over her mouth and was quickly on the opposite side of the ship with….NORRINGTON?!

Norrington was not the man to treat those he dealt with harshly and unprofessionally, especially when it came to the women he confronted. The perfect opportunity for his leverage had been well placed, however, when Tobbs and a crew mate of hers were right above the naval boat. He was right below them with his second in command. Luckily, he missed the contents of the pirate woman’s stomach by a few inches. Perry’s embittered grunt, however, led him to believe the other man had not.
He gestured his thoughts to Perry after analyzing the situation entirely. His firm hold on his hilt was released, and just as Tobbs and Evelyn were glancing over into the darkness, Perry and the Commodore grabbed the two securely and had them in the boat in a matter of seconds. They were quickly seized and kept quiet, and by the looks of it, the Tobbs woman had passed out.
The other pirate, however, was fighting it. He watched as the men tried restraining her, slightly captivated by something about the woman. It seemed entirely illogical, being that he was a man of his position…..perhaps it was the air of Tortuga getting to him?
“Nodges, we must reach the ship immediately. With Jack Sparrow aware, I’m sure half of this vile place will be crawling with his spies. Signal Smith to prepare to open fire. With two of Sparrow’s crew, I’m sure he’ll be coming around quickly.”
His eyes locked upon the woman who struggled again, so much she was seemingly breaking free. He cleared his throat, wondering why he couldn’t get himself to assist in stilling her. Finally, when he pushed himself to help the men, she was loose, and all of a sudden in the water behind them. If he had heard correctly, the loud bump upon the side of the boat was her….immediately the Commodore grew worried.
“Turn ‘round, Nodges.”
Perry piped in. “But sir, that’s insanity! Jack Sparrow will become aware of us in-“
“NOW, Nodges.”
Perry continued. “Sir, think of your men! They’ll be firing upon us soon enough! Someone will retrieve her from Sparrow’s crew sir!”
Norrington was silent. The thought of endangering his men to rescue a stranger who was entirely against his principles and standards made no logical sense.
‘Sir?’
“Continue on to the ship…someone will save her…”
He whispered the last bit to himself, eying the cold, splashing water around the location for the captured woman. Tearing his eyes off of the darkened sea, he focused upon the nearing ship. He was helped aboard, and directed that Tobbs should be taken below and watched over very carefully. He glanced once more to try and unveil the woman who had caught his attention earlier before he cleared his throat and commanded loudly,
“OPEN FIRE!”

OOC: NPCing Eve, with her permission. If she does come back tonight or tomorrow, however, she can go right ahead and delete this to put up her own if she wishes. *wise nod*
Evylen was down to the last straw, Rhys was the first out of the competition, dropping into a drunken stuppor after only six drinks. Tobbs seemed to last longer than Rhys, but not by much. The woman was soon up and stumbling around the bar to visit the Captain and distrubing the few pirates that were not causing trouble at the moment.
Before Evy could get her next mug up to her mouth, the Captain was pulling Tobbs out of the pub and into the streets. A few of the crew decided to join him, and it looked as if Rhys was coming to enough to go as well. She chugged her next to drinks quickly, as Emma did the same. Suddenly there were shouts from outside, her mind was blurry and she was thinking very slowly, she heard Norrington and sat still for a moment.
It clicked then, she shot to her feet. Fell back down, and started to crawl stumble as she moved towards the door. Her crew was in trouble and she had to help. It was a long stumble to the Pearl, but she made it.
Finally there, someone, she couldn't tell who, her vision was too blurry, came and helped her stumble up the gangplank. She could hear Tobbs yelling at her, but Eve could not make out the words. Perhaps it was her own intoxication, or it was Tobbs's inability to speak, she couldn't tell.
Her arms were being pulled and she was yanked to the side of the ship where Tobbs proceeded to discharge the contents of her stomach into the ocean. Moaning, Eve began to think that she might do the same thing soon and held to Tobbs arm tightly for fear of falling over.
Without warning a warm hand covered her mouth and she felt herself being passed over the side of the Pearl and into a small boat. She kicked, realizing what was happening, she being taken prisoner. The men held her tightly, but she did not care, she had to get out and get Tobbs free with her.
Norrington stood up to approach her just as she freed herself from his men. Curly hair flying everywhere, she lost her balance and fell overboard. All she felt was a hard whack on the head before she faded into the darkness.

Avery cowered down slightly at the words being thrown at him. As much as he wasn't scared of his Captain, it was a reflex. The wallets were snatched back, but then Barbossa recognized him. "Captain," he responded with a small salute. The question brought him dazed and back to the days he spent after the ship sank.
"Not exactly sure how I survived, other than the fact I was in the water for three days until a passing ship picked me up and gave me passage to Port Royal. I made my way here from there. How did you manage it Captain? And did any of the others make it?" He was eager for news, anything. He had made a few friends.. and a love on the ship. He just hoped that someone had survived along with him.

Sarah Fleming steped out of her small house and quickly closed the door. She pulled her cloak tighter around her as the cold wind and rain hit her face. She quickly locked the door before bracing herself for the steady downfall. Normally she would have welcomed the rain and would not have worn a cloak at all, but she was in Port Royale, and the citizens here knew her as a lady, not a free spirited pirate. She stepped onto the street and was about to walk towards the Turners' house when a carriage pulled up in front of her. Where ye headed miss? I can give ye a ride for only two pence!
Sarah was about to gently turn down the offer, but thought better of it. Yes. Thank you. Sarah quickly got into the carriage and waited for it to reach the Turners', which was not very long. When the carriage stopped Sarah quickly jumped out and handed the man two pence. Thank you. Sarah quickly replied before quickly walking to the Turners' door and gently knocking.

Post by Carver Brothers on Jul 7, 2005 17:45:13 GMT -5
The cold, dead night was a comfort highly cherished in the dark mind of the killer. Destroying a crew, hijacking a ship, and skimming the angry black sea was only a few day’s work for Michael Carver. He had motif, however, when his hand had slipped from Selina’s in the crash. They had all thought him dead but her, and he...he had let himself let go...now he knew not where she was...
Grudging himself, Michael clenched his fists as he glanced around the empty streets of Tortuga. Something was amiss...His dark blue shirt hung halfway open, revealing the tanned, muscular build beneath, as well as the top of a tattoo upon his right shoulder. A golden hilt was at his waist accompanied by a worn black pistol and a few hidden daggers. Cruentus flew above, scanning the land and reporting anything seen by a piercing call. Tonight, Carver felt the need for blood...
Finally in the more populated areas of town, Michael narrowed his eyes upon a familiar tavern in the distance....he saw people rushing about, but there was no reason for him to accompany their scurries. Perhaps he’d find someone he recognized inside...and that’s just what he looked for, hoping to catch a glance of Selina’s familiarity in the room...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “And you’ve no idea where he went?”
Joseph placed down the cup of hot tea the maid had just brought in. Elizabeth shook her head. The two were discussing the quick leave that Governor Swann had just made.The Carver brother was curious as to why because he’d overheard a guard talking of plans that Norringotn had...and Joseph was always searching for a clue to finding his brother.
“Well, no reason to worry. It’s probably nothing. I don’t see you and Will sneaking aboard, so it can’t be anything.”
He was joking, of course, and he smiled as he looked across the room towards the door Will had just exited. James was in his mother’s lap, and Joseph sighed when the sky rumbled with thunder. The weather was harsh today, and while he loved the rain, he was somewhat glad he wasn’t outside.
Coincidentally, there was a knock at the door, and he furrowed his brows curiously. So someone had dared to venture into the storm? Perhaps it was just Will locked out from the kitchen’s exit. Standing and stretching a bit, Joseph nodded to excuse himself from Elizabeth’s presence and made his way to the door. Leaning against the doorframe of the dining room (as it looked into the main hall and right where the front door was), he watched the doorman answer the door with a smile.
“Will, I told you to place the stopper in before you-“
But it wasn’t Will. Instead of the soaked figure of his friend, another stood in the doorway requesting entrance. He was speechless for a moment as he caught sight of her, until finally he snapped out of it and walked quickly towards her.
“Smethels, do let the lady in. The more she stands there, the more the rain takes claim of her. And we wouldn’t want her to leave now, would we?”
Nodding his head to the doorman to let him know he’d take care of the guest, Joseph’s smile grew slightly as he gazed back at the woman. Bowing slightly, he cleared his throat to keep himself from being lost in words again. Something...was different about this stranger....there was a captivating beauty about her, appearance-wise absolutely, but...something else as well...
“Good evening, miss. My name is Joseph; I’m a friend of the Turners. Might I ask of whom do I have the pleasure in greeting? And perhaps help you with that cloak?”
