A year has passed since the events concerning the gods of Greece. Since then Jack and the crew’s lives had been quite uneventful, well as uneventful as a pirate life can get that is. With a few new crew members, Jack has sailed his crew to hell and back, pillaging, plundering, and gaining quite the notorious reputation. However, one not so scheduled trip to England, and to Evelyn’s home town, has brought about a new treasure to seek, a new endeavor, and possibly the next great adventure for Jack Sparrow and those aboard the Black Pearl.
A map has been found, once believed to be lost to the infernos of a previous pirate raid. A map revealing the location of a treasure TOO good to pass up, despite the warnings of a curse within it, an entire city of gold is a bit hard to pass up. With the map both in Evelyn’s trusted memory, and in Jack’s hand his crew are ready to go to hell, quite literally, and back for a piece of this city of gold.
Meanwhile, Barbossa hasn’t missed a beat, and although he was beaten to the ultimate relic last time, this time it is HE who has the upper hand. Although Jack and crew know about the treasure, they remain oblivious to the true power resting there, the Dagger of Curunin, an ancient dagger that posses the power to send those it kills to the Underworld, a hellish purgatory until the ending of the world. Barbossa’s thirst for vengeance is all but insatiable, and it is for THIS reason Bossa also makes for Central America, hoping through simply wandering about he too can find this city of Gold and the dagger which would finally give Jack Sparrow his due.
When Barbossa finds Jack Sparrow also in the jungles however and learns of Evelyn’s knowledge as to the location of the gold he concocts an evil plan that would not only give him the way to the City of Gold, but also an edge in the never ending battle between Barbossa’s crew and Jack’s. It’s a scramble and tangle to riches and relics…with not only eachother to compete with, but also the jungles themselves who also have threats within them that neither crew has even begun to prepare for…
Rules:
1. no spamming 2. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER 3. NO cursing!!!! 4. Common curtesy is a must 5. NO GODMODING (unless otherwise stated) 6. have fun maties -Plot credited to Evy and Bossa
Current Going ons... snake pits are awesome!!!! LOL. We're at camp after a run in with a lot of snakes. woot. WHERE'S BOSSA?! no clue....hinthint Bossa

*Tobbs had had enough for a night. Alriught, enough for a week or a month even. Cannibals, tackle fits, expressing emotions, falling bridges and people, almost dead crew mates, and now a pit. What was worse, was that it was, well, a snake pit.*
*Now she could handle dead people; she could handle limbs and swords and death and tragedy and all the things life has to dimly offer. But she had some sort of fear with, well, water currents as noted before, and slivering, slimy, miniature monsters. Insects, snakes, odd little beasts of the night. For some reason, she couldn't handle them. She had linked some with ehr past yes, but the other was simply a disgusted almost fear about them. They weren't on ehr high list of likes.*
*So when she discovered it was a SNAKE pit, she couldn't do anything but again stare in utter blankness and somewhat horror. What in all that was good was going on today? Honestly!*
*It was all over in a snap as it seemed to her. But she woke to reality when the whole discussion on Kora's fate would be decided. She clenched her fists at the notion of a traitor being in their midsts. But she was NOT about to let the wench unfairly meet her doom. She had been among many battles and ways of determining whatw as to be done with the traitor. While this was an option, Tobbs didn't fit it as fair.*
*Not fair at all really. Kora was 'discarded' into a snake pit. Honestly now! No chance of fighting for at least being let free in the jungle aways away with nothing but clothes on her back. Where was the battle or the determination that her fate would be death? In seriousness, Tobbs refused to accept the idea. And while she stood there eyeing the pit from a distance, she didnt take heed to the others leaving until enough anger brewed up in her to confront...the captain.*
*Marching towards the camp they had made, and glancing around for signs of Jack, she spotted him off against another tree. Sighing and gritting ehr teeth slightly, she slowly made over towards him, stopping just in front of him with the most serious, solemnly hoenst expression and matching tone as she tried to cantain ehrself from lashing out in her usual stubborn objections.*
"Cap'n...Jack...Jack, that wasn't fit. Not fit at all. Yer the captain of this crew, yes, but that wasn't fair. She's a traitor, but she's just been depositied into a pit without a chance of at least earning her own way back into the jungle without weapons and whatnot, and more importantly, by a man of all things. Certainly that's not the code's border lines? I would've defended the crew against her; the other lasses would have too."
*By now her voice was trailing higher and bolder, and while she knew he was the captain, their leader, their choice maker, she had to be strong about this. She always would be when it came to opinions. Well, most anything really.*
"A traitor should be punished, yes, but 'ow fairly was that? honestly, she's been cheated, she DIDNT kill rhys, therefore she deserved a chance to justify the claims against 'er. 'o says that 'o ever said she had been was telling the truth?"

::Jack looked up at Tobbs a bit then smiled just a little:
"Tobbs....she tried to kill Rhys. Didn't but she tried. The pit is only twenty feet or so. She can climb out. And it's a warning to her. I don't take kindly to my crew being attacked, in any way. Now she has the choice of wandering alone, or going off to try and find another ship that'll take her aboard...."
::With that he lifted a eyebrow with a almost infuriating calm: "And are ye questioning my judgment Tobbs?" It was a challange unto itself and he knew it. He didn't care. If Kora had been a man he would have killed her flat out, because he would let no harm come to his crew. He'd never kill a lass. Kora could climb out if she wanted not, but there was very little chance of her coming back to hurt any of his crew. That had been his aim. ::
::To scare her silly and make sure all his crew was safe. ::
"Honestly Tobbs, do ye ever stop yer worrying? More importantly are ye ever silent?" He smiled at her, then added: "Or do I have to employ drastic measures to make you silent?" He eyed Tobbs, awaiting her response, with a smirk on his face :::#nosmileys

*The first half of Jack's bit was, well, understanding to her in a way. She didn't really think it was fair still, but she knew he was trying to clear his point. And the whole 'climbing out of the pit' bit was comforting a tad...but she still didn't like it.*
*All her held back anger needed was one simply spark to light the fire. And Jack basically tossed in a spray of them with his challenging tone. Her eyes lit up immediately. Oh, she had tried so hard to keep herself contained, be at least close to a normal level of voice level, involve no physical contact of any kind, but he just HAD to tempt her into a challenge.*
*Trying sooo hard to keep ehrself from lashing out again, she spoke up in a manner that couldv'e painted the picture that she was trying to keep a lid on her anger.*
"Questing yer judgement Jack? Questioning the CAPTAIN's judgement?"
*Okay, so she wasn't about to admit anything either. Defeat was NOT a good companion. And his last words lingered in her mind as he let them slip off with that smile of his. He was smiling! SMILING! ohhhh that just ticked her off. She couldn't keep things in anymore. Silent eh? Well he was about to get QUITE the opposite!*
"Well exxxxxcccuuuseee me for speakin' up when I think 'naught's right! I'm NOT about to let myself go silent when I THINK that something's wrong! Maybe I WAS questioning yer bloody judgement Jack! Maybe, I worry so friggen much, because I'm afraid something'll ACTUALLY happen to the crew, or to you! Maybe I'm so WORRIED because I 'ave a REASON to worry about now!"
*She said it all with a hint of frustration in her voice. Now, she just wanted to dig deep somehow. He didn't understand why she was so worried, he didnt KNOW why she had turned ehrself to ALWAYS worry. HE couldn't understand her. She had never told him anything.*
"YOU wouldn't know the first THING about bein' worried all the bloody time! Why I've become so you ask, WHY am I so friggen expectin everything to be the worst? BECAUSE I don' wanna lose something, alrigh'?! I don' wanna let pain get to me, pain's fer the weak Jack! And right about now, I'm thinking you best be watchin' yer own BLOODY self! Before yer just, yer just winding up on some FORSAKEN ISLAND for bein' so bloody CAREFREE!"
*And just to tweak in a bit of an angry attempt to get to him.*
"Because it SEEMS you've experienced THAT sort of carelessness before with yer own SHIP, CAAAAPTAAINN!"

::Jack's eyes widened a great deal when Tobbs basically for lack of a better word, exploded. It really was amazing just how fast she could be reasonable one second then Hellish the next::
::He stood on reflex, not wanting to be at a disadvantage in such a perdicament. He was about to explain that he had been teasing. He hadn't expected her to erupt like that.::
::Of course the jesting had been playful, but apparently Tobbs had not gotten the message. He was opening his mouth to apoligize....Then she mentioned him loosing the Black Pearl. Jack's eys narrowed quickly, and became much darker then they had been. Almost black::
::Maybe it would have been easier if he had said something. Had shouted right back. Had unleashed some tirade of cursing. But no. No no no. His entire body stiffened steal hard. He glared at her for a long second, vibrating with anger. Then he simply stood upright, bowed stiffly to her: "My Lady." He even swept his hat off then jammed it on his own head...then turned and strode into the jungle out of camp to ...apparently, cool off::#nosmileys##nosmileys

Mark drew his other gun. He aimed it at the traitor and pulled the hammer back. Days of pure anger was finding it's way to his fingertip. He suddenly snapped out of his rage and holstered his gun. He looked at the scene and smirked.
"If you would push her in you might as well jump in yourselves. For we have all been treachorouse some time or other, most of us in the past few days."
He said refering to his incident. He looked at Will.
"But you see mates. I am willing to forget some treachories. Now I do realize that she tried to kill our friend here, and I can't say I know what all happened. But just think about what I have said."
Mark said. He turned and walked away and joined the rest of the crew. He kept more watch of their movements now. He was much better so he figured he wouldn't get left behind anyway. He found a "comfortable" spot on the ground and fell asleep. Sleep was one thing he didn't get now-a-days. He began to dream, the same old dream. It haunted him all the time, perhaps a reason he didn't get much sleep. Night after night he witnessed the death of his father and brother. The dreams tormented him. He woke suddenly and looked around. He closed his eyes again and tried to conjure another dream, a happier dream. He failed. He managed to stay asleep though.

*Well crap. Tobbs bit her lip when she saw the captain tense up and grow angry. So she'd hit deep, got to him. But rather than having an evil feeling of victory as normal, a slap of regret hit her. Hard.*
'My Lady.'
*He should have said go jump of a cliff, or fall in a snake pit, or something to let her retort back! But 'my lady'! Now how could she square with that?!*
*And then walking off? HONESTLY! That was sooooo not fair! Now, if it had been any other man she'd just argued with, especially a captain, she would have clearly taken that as a victory. I mean, she'd just hit someone and made THEM feel pain, and then got them to walk away. That was a pretty good victory to her. Well, that must have been in the past. And especially since this happened to be the one man she really cared for. Bloody Eros.*
"Oh no no no NO!"
*She practically called, or, shouted, after him as he marched off into the hungle. She was NOT going to elt him get away with making her feel like crap. He had turned this into what it was. Not she! It was HIIIIS fault!*
"Jack Sparrow doesn't walk away! He's Captain Jack Sparrow for bloody 'ell! Wouldn' want that to go down in the books, now would we?!"
*Alright, so she was trying his ego now. Well, stepping on it carefully really. Treading the path eh? She was right behind him as she spoke, her voice still full of its energy.*

::Jack stomped away just far enough to be out of ear shot. Tobbs was trying to get at his ego...she was becoming slightly more irritating then before....::
::He stopped suddenly, and heard her stop. He smiled ot himself. With a movment that put the winds to shame Jack whirled around, throwing his sword. Will had taught him the trick, he had honed it to perfection.::
::It flew through the air, and caught Tobbs's sleeve, then struck a tree trunk with a loud crack. The blade pinned her sleeve to the tree::
"I don't walk away for nothing, luv." He said walking over to her with a calculated grace. and of course he got right into her space bubble, mere inches from her. "ye see. I walk away to get a better view of things..an' you, luv...walked right into it....." He smiled at her, all irritating confidence and savvyness::
"Now, lets get a thing or two straight, while you're just...standing here....one...I would not kill a lass....two....she can get out of there if she wants too...and three....I do not mind you questioning me with good reason.....but mention Barbossa again....and my ability ot be a Captain....and I won't be so careful with this blade next time...savvy?"
:He ripped the sword from the tree and looked at her in a almost too calm manner.....had she listened to his speech at all she'd know from point one that he'd never hurt her. but he had meant that about Barbossa. He was the only man Jack could ever be truely angry about...least for now....::
::With that he put his sword away and glared at her: "Do we have an accord?"

*Alrighty, she had tried to just pushed the button that should've been avoided perhaps. But, well, Tobbs overcalculated. Or maybe undercalculated. For when Jack stopped, she stopped, and in a matter of seconds she was trapped by a blade and a tree. Not too pleasant. She'd have to give a word to Will and him teaching Jack sword tricks. Not agreeable right about now.*
*Space bubble thing. NOT a really wonderful time to enjoy it. In fact, Tobbs, as hard as she struggled to get free, couldn't do anything but let him trample over her sturbborn pride. Walk away plotting, did he? Oi! Wasn't this magical? Pinned to a tree, inches away from her captain. What a night indeed.*
*There was the sudden registered factor that Jack was strong enough, and skilled enough, to kill her perchance, and if she aggravated him to a level he couldn't dismiss, perhaps he would. But for some reason she felt safe, even with him glaring at her. She could hint the notion that he wouldn't harm her. Which was a relief for her, since almost everyone else with such an opportunity usually tried.*
*The attention back to Jack's actions, when he freed her from the pinned postition, made her eye him as he spoke. The glare caught in her attention. She wasn't about to give up. With the momentum of his asking, she weaved her leg around his, pulled it forward, and got him back laying on the ground. She somehow managed to keep it so he didn't entirely slam down on the ground, because, she knew he could still be a bit testy from her words, but it was enough to say 'this is my revenge dagnabbit.*
*Keeping each leg on either side of him, with herself being held up by her knees in a somewhat sitting/upright way (picture crawling position *g*), she gave a silent smirk and tried to change the high strung stressful mood a bit.*
"Accord? Well now, as long as yer just LYING there, lets get a thing or two straigh on my part then. One, I completely trusted ya wouldn' kill a lass, no doubt in my mind; control over anger's 'ard, at least to some, but I doubt you'd really 'urt a lady unless they did something BAD. Two, while I see yer point, I can't say I agree with it entirely, and it might just be that I don' wanna. Three...."
*She trailed off at the last bit, not wanting to take the consequences of the words she said. She knew he was a good captain, she trusted in his judgements and ways, and she hated Barbossa for all that he'd done. But she couldn't say that. Well she could, but would she let herself?*
"Three."
*She stated firmly at last as she stared straight back into his eyes.*
"Three, I never doubt yer word, yer judgement, or yer plots. I may doubt the fairness in them, or the accuracy in them, but I dont, and never will, doubt THEM. Yer my captain now Jack; that's not to be dismissed. But yer not just a leader, yer something more than that. More than a title I'd say."
*She tore her gaze from his for a moment, not really wanting to know how he'd take the last bit. But sighing and looking back to him, she gave an apologetic glance in the midst of her expression. She couldn't say sorry openly yet, she had to work on actually admitting to things such as that. Still thought of that as a weakness. But no matter, the silence part and worrying bit still made her tense up slightly.*

::Jack blinked a bit startled by suddenly lying on his back. He tilted his head to one side, pondering her over a bit. Jack eyed her a good long while::
::and didn't say a damn thing for a very long time...in fact one might have thought he'd fallen asleep had he not been staring up at her so steadily::
::well she was sort of saying sorry in a way..which was more then he'd expected. But he didn't want her to feel as if she needed to be compliant either. In fact quite the opposite. Some the best ideas came from a crew that felt they could question him, put in ideas. It worked pretty well::
::Jack frowned, slightly and looked at her, again a playful grin flickering over his face:: "Again yer on top luv, are ye tryin' to say something?" That of course being his way of sayin "no worries. We're on even ground again" without really saying it of course and retreating into his Sparrowness again::

*Tobbs just stared back at him for a long while as he watched her. She didn't know WHAT he was thinking. She just watched his eyes, his face, letting her mind pick up everything. *
*He'd either be angry and pin her to the ground, or not be angry and perchance say something to her to note that he wasn't. She hoped for the latter. She didn't expect either one; she didn't wanna have to choose. So she just waited.*
*The playful grin registered in her sight and she shook from her thoughtful gaze, her smile growing as he spoke up as her brow lifted in a sly, playful way as well. So he'd not be angry with her; she felt relief wash over her and she would've sighed if it wasn't for her need to tease back.*
"And what if I am? What are YOU going to do about it Sparrow?"
*The last bit she added in emphasis, of course, tilting her head to the side and examining his features for some kind of emotion, or hint of thoughts. The smirk still cruved upon her lips. What a game.*

::Jack raised an eyebrow. A challenge. Again. he grinned. He smirked:
"Ye know....there's a lot I could do..." Jack said, propping himself up on his elbows, eyeing Tobbs with a highly amused look on his face::
"An' just cause yer on top doesn't make ye in charge. common mistake." Jack said as if teaching the basic functions of life to a child.
"Now...ye asked me what I was going to do about it...." Jack began slyly. "For starters...I'm not movin' ye...as ye seem so hell bound to be on top....." He grinned again and sat up a bit straighter, his arms pushing him upright to meet her.::
"So what to do....?" Jack pondered outloud and almost as soon as he said the words he was face to face with her, tilting his head just enough. Putting himself within a hairs breath away from her face. The most natural thing in the world would be a kiss.....His lips were hovering right in front of hers....enough to feel the warmth of her breath....close enough for his eyelashes to be brushing her cheeks. ::
"I've a idea in my head about what I want to do....question is here, luv, how far are ye going to let me take this?" His tone was really quite in control, teasing almost....no...he wasn't being perverse either. No....he was just pushing her a bit, trying to sort her out by poking at her mind, feeling reactions:::

*Tobbs wondered slyly as she watched Jack's amusement grow when she spoke up. She recalled last time just how she had let him have the control, and how she had needed to gain it. He'd taught ehr that, aye...she just had to figure out how confused he'd leave her.*
"An' just cause yer on top doesn't make ye in charge. common mistake."
*Tobbs rolled her eyes at this and listened, hiding the focus she actually had on what he was saying and doing. This would be so easier if she hadn't been pricked by a crazed tricky god of love. But then again, would it?*
*And there he was, right next to her again, so close, really close, that she tensed up without being able to stop herself. She couldn't let herself fall into being out of control, even though he put pressures as this against her. He was measuring her out perhaps, testing to see how far she could go. But the thing was, with this, she wasn't really all that sure if it WAS just a game in the first place.*
"I've a idea in my head about what I want to do....question is here, luv, how far are ye going to let me take this?"
*The final question. She held herself tense still, not moving, holding onto the only thing that kept her from giving up. What it all really came down to. How far WAS she going to take this. At first, she wanted to win such a game over him. Now, it sent a tingle of anticipation just to hear his voice. She tried denying more than a crew's care for a captain, but well, it was obvious to herself. Bloody Eros indeed.*
*Well, no need to resist then, she thought slyly. How far would she go? She cared for him, and she trusted him, and while this was all quite nerve racking for her, sicne she'd stranded all emotions away from her just a year and a half ago, she thought to ehrself; go with it. And so she would.*
"Well then, I think I'm wuite comfortable bein 'ere Jack. And why don't we go on and 'ear that idea of yers? I'll be flexible tonight..."
*She had whispered such words in his ears, letting the tingling feeling of being so close fill both her mind, and purposely Jack's. This was his game, was it? How fun...*
*Letting her lips meet his for but a second, lightly, and basically just a brush, she inched a bit away from him, just so he could take everything in. At first, she simply began taking her effects off from her belt that she'd gotten back. Occasionally she'd cast a glance at Jack almost seductively, so to speak. And then, as she let herself relax a bit more, she drew her hands to her shirt, fidgeting with the buttons and looking completely distracted from him at first. Focused on the buttons, loosening them a bit more, just enough on modest's border lines...before she drew her gaze at Jack.*
"Aren' ya gonna 'elp Jack?"
*Again she inched closer to him, removing one hand to bring down on his own buttons and begin fidgeting with the shirt. Now she had NO idea what to expect really. But this had indeed been interesting.*

::Jack actually blinked and looked well, startled for at least a good half minute reality sort of sinking in. In fact..he looked honestly....confused for maybe a minute or so.....::
::then he just blinked and stopped her hands from doing anything else. Jack's hands held onto hers a bit, seemingly trying to collect his thoughts before.well.....before either of them did something....He looked... at her a long while, not saying anything finally when he spoke it was very carefully:: "Victoria....ye know...."
:;Jack wasn't sure what he was trying to get out yet. Only that.....damnit.....why was this so hard? He fumbled and bit more, then finally kissed one of her hands:: "Ye'll....not...regret this then?" He asked her carefully. And his voice was different, Confused, unsure. Unlike..well unlike what he normally was like.::
"This isn't exactly the oppurtune place after all...." He said pointedly. "An....ye....I didn't mean to push ye....but..." He stopped, looking at her seriously, not sure of what to say::
::He waited tensely for a minute more, and finally very carefully placed his hands on her shoulders and kissed her. It was a sweet kiss, if one could call it that. It wasn't posessive...and it wasnt delicate either...it was curiously unsure...and almost....almost as if he were asking her to not reject him completly.....and very briefly hinting that he was confused....::.#nosmileys#nosmileys

*Will laid there with his wife in his arms but all that would come to him was shallow sleep. His mind kept running over Marks words, how the man had called them traitors. Slowly his eyes opened and wandered around until they landed on the sleeping man and Will glarred a little. It wasn't this guys place to call Will a tratior when Will knew that he wasn't one.
Very carefully he shifted his way from beneath his wife and gently laid her upon the ground. Elizabeth shifted but remained asleep. He smiled, she looked angelic as she slept. He kissed her forehead and made his way over to Mark shaking the man firmly on the shoulder until he awoke and Will gazed at him with firm eyes.* You have no right to call me a traitor Mark. That is a heavy word and shouldn't be used lightly. I'm sorry you got left behind and Im sorry that you got hurt but if you haven't noticed I'm married, I have a wife, Mark. *He stated, waving his hand towards Elizabeth.* All my focus and worry was on her, all I could think about was getting her away from that village. I lost her once Mark, I'd die if I lost her again. And Im sorry if paying attention to her and not to you makes me a tratior, but if being a traitor keeps her safe and out of harms way, then so be it. *He said and got back up.
He started to walk away when he paused and glanced back over his shoulder. He felt bad about the guys situation but Will couldn't be everywhere at once. With a heavy sigh he returned to his wife, laying down next to her and slipping his arm across her waist. He was glad she had come this time, even if he worried about her. He gazed warmly at her for the rest of the night until finally his own lids drooped and he fell asleep.*
