*Mason smiled and layed down with her. Only to be rudely woken a few hours later by a ridiculous thumping sound. Sitting up on the bed he wiped the sleep from his eyes and looked around, there stood Arayel. He fell quiet and smiled, trying not to make a sound as he pulled his clothes on, leaving his boots off. Slowly he snuck over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her softly on the cheek.* Hello my love, I do hope that you slept well. And what is that godawful thudding? *He asked, with a disgusted look on his face. Giving her a gentle squeeze he released her and quickly pulled his boots on.*

*She jumped slightly as he snuck up on her, but settled back into his embrace easily, laying her hands against his own.* I slept well m'dear, thank ye. *She said softly, laying her head back against his shoulder.* I think our neighbor was playin' darts again' the wall with 'er daggers. *She mumbled in response, before turning in his embrace.* So, shall we make our way on deck and see exactly what kinda crew we've landed ourselves with?

Evelyn looked across the decks just as the boat was to be lowered and heard a voice ring out. It was one that was different, she hadn't heard it before and she lifted a brow looking for the source. When she caught the strange girl singing away Eve gave a grunt. She had no CLUE who that was, but she was on the ship so SOMEONE must have brought her aboard. " 'Oy! Girl! Get the bloody 'ell in this boat! If yer on this ship ye should put some muscle into helpin' us out...'sides...I'd like ta learn one of yer songs..." Evelyn stated as she gave a grin and winked at the girl.
As the girl made her way towards the boat Evelyn stretched out her hand to her. She seemed nice enough for the moment, although one eye looked at her a bit warily. " 'ello mate...name's Evelyn Pearl, but ye can jus' call me Eve, everyone else does." She smiled brightly as she took out her flask and offered the girl a swig. "Now tell me, where d'ye learn that tune? Sing somethin' fer us...or at least give me a few bars ta play with...I haven' sung in ages..." Evelyn began as they were loswered into the waters.

Rhys was watching closely as the Pearl's crew gathered in the boats below her. She felt odly detatched from everything and in truth she was. She wasn't part of the crew, she was just a girl that had been found floating in the ocean. They would probably kick her off the boat as soon as they found a nice port to leave her in. Sighing to herself, she decided that there was nothing she could do about that. Out of the blue, a woman was calling to her. She found herself ordered to get into the boat and help get them ashore. Eyeing the woman warily, she made her way down and into the small rocking boat again. It brought back memories of not more than a day ago, but she brushed them aside and focused on the pirate speaking with her. She had long curly hair and honey colored eyes. They were the sort of eyes that could draw your attention and keep it. She looked the type of woman not to cross. The kind of woman that had played with daggers instead of dolls as most young girls had. As she introduced herself as Evelyn and asked for Rhys to teach her a song, the young girl cracked a small smile. "The name's Rhys," she said shaking the woman's hand. Accepting the flask gratefully from Eve's hands she took a sip and let it run down her throat soothingly before she answered the next question. "My Papa taught me that tune and a few others, when I was younger. He was a sailor in his youth," she murmured the memories of her father making her warm and happy inside. "Another song? Well.... I think I could sing something to keep the rythm as we row," she said after a moment. "I'll teach it to you now and then we can sing it together actually," she said changing her mind. Taking a deep breath she began to sing slowly to let the words sink into her companion. "What shall we do with the drunken sailor, What shall we do with the drunken sailor, What shall we do with the drunken sailor, Early in the morning?
Hoo-ray and up she rises, Hoo-ray and up she rises, Hoo-ray and up she rises, Early in the morning.
Put him in the long-boat and make him bail her, Put him in the long-boat and make him bail her, Put him in the long-boat and make him bail her, Early in the morning.
What shall we do with the drunken soldier, What shall we do with the drunken soldier, What shall we do with the drunken soldier, Early in the morning.
Put him in the guardroom till he gets sober, Put him in the guardroom till he gets sober, Put him in the guardroom till he gets sober, Early in the morning."

Mark watched as the creature ran back into the forest. He fired one last shot and brought the monkey down. He hated to do that, but he didn't want it to attack him again. He walked up to it.
"You little bastar'! You took my bandana!"
He grabbed the blue bandana and tied it around his wrist again.
"Well look at you. Good thing I shot ya."
Mark said looking at the dead creature. It had rabies of some sort. He raised a brow and reloaded his guns. He wanted to be ready for the next one. He walked back out onto the beach and could see the others preparing to come ashore. He figured they would get a laugh at his expense from that episode. He sat down on the sand and looked up at the sky.
"It's a bit hot out here today."
Mark said as he took his shirt off. He sprawled out on the sand and dozed while he waited for the others to come.

*Michael watched Selina's face, memorizing its every feature once again as he traced her in his head. He hadn't meant to startle her, but his own thoughts were swarming in him now. He had first seen Selina in lust, not whom she was at first. She was a game to him, just like everything else was. Now, as he stood there, he realized that he was falling, quite hard, for her, although lust and passion were brewing inside of him still, a deep urge that mixed with the emotions that were starting to be portrayed for her.*
"Well then, as you slightly enjoyed it, I'll state that I did. I have no doubt you can't protect yourself Selina. I just thought I'd have that 'talk' with the crew, like I told you I would."
*His voice was frosted with a bit of charm and honesty as he spoke. He had never spoken as kind to anyone but his parents, whom he thought were lost by now. It stirred up a few memories, though he let them disappear when he caught the sincere look on her face. Mayhap she wasn't just noting him as some ship worthy man now...maybe, there could be more....at least thats what he was beginning to hope within.*
"I-"
*And then he felt her hand upon his cheek, a tingle running through him as he felt the texture of her skin and tried keeping the passion within him from rising beyond control. He knew she could sense it in his eyes, so he closed them for the few seconds she let her hand run down his neck, his head tilting slightly towards the direction she was moving it away. When he sensed it was gone, he opened his eyes and stared into hers, locking her in his gaze, unable to stop himself from slightly revealing the emotions he was beginning to feel.*
"Selina..."
*He stopped himself as he was about to step forward and take her up in his arms. He needed to get a grip, he told himself. He wanted to say something to her that could hint how he felt perhaps, or something that would let her lean on knowing it wasn't just about lust anymore for him, as that was only the creeping sensation he had when she was close, but he could not. He had never done something of the sort before, and though he could sense her apprehension and the fact that it seemed someone had come close to her heart and was gone for now, he didn't know how to reassure her, and he didn't know if it would be safe yet to even trust her (yet it was almost like he was holding himself back from trusting her just in case). So he frowned slightly, then spoke up again.*
"Me? Get killed by the lot of these? Come now my lady, surely you don't think I couldn't handle them all now?"
*A crooked grin appearing on his face, he overheard Barbossa giving orders to raise the anchor. The ship was full of vibes of excitement and anticipation. Michael could feel the ship beneath his feet begin to shutter in preparation for the crossing of the seas ahead. He looked still at Selina and a smile formed where the grin was.*
"Well, it seems we're finally off now. Could be a storm up ahead....might want to prepare for one once we get further out away from the land. Did you catch any free moments of sleep Selina? What do you say to a few bites to eat? Could wake you up-"
*The winds that were bringing the storm up on their heels was bringing the ship further out and out from the island of Tortuga. As if in great haste, the ship rocked, throwing him and Selina off balance. If he hadn't've caught ahold of the rope just to his right, Michael would have landed right above her again. He grabbed it just in time and wrapped his right arm behind Selina, catching her from landing on the deck. He was close to her yet again, just an inch or two apart, standing there and looking down at her, his breath increasing slightly and then suddenly stopping altogether. He was captivated by her now, his eyes dancing with a burning fire of passion and new devotion. He was so out of place and absorbed in her that he hadn't even moved his hand from the rope nor his stance, nor his arm. He snapped back in reality and blinked a few times, edging back ever so slightly so to see how she reacted towards him this time.*
"Winds are pickin' up....best watch your step..."
*When he heard a snicker behind him, he turned to see the drunken man whom had spoken up grinning evilly and cursing still.*
"Mind your own ways, or I'll have your head."
*He snapped at the man so quickly and harshly that the other looked startled and furrowed his brows. Going back to his duties, Michael turned again to Selina.*
"What a crew...."

*Eric raised a brow and spun around on his heel to face Evelyn as she admitted that she couldn't trust him afterall. He stood there for a moment, as still and emotionless as a statue and then slowly he nodded his head. He frowned a little. So not only did she not trust him...but he had also let her down.* You're deffinantly stubborn. *He grunted and watched her take off below decks.
He wasn't sure why but he waited for her to return before bothering to get into one of the small boats. As she climbed in he eyed her curiously, still unsure of how to take what she had said to him a little bit ago. She shouted at him and with a roll of his eyes he piled in next to her. When she nudged him he didn't smile, he only looked at her.* I don't know either. *He said simply, grabbing an oar as the boat was lowered into the water.
He glanced over his shoulder as he heard someone singing on board and then looked back out towards the shore. As the girl who had been singing, Rhys climbed into their boat he smiled and tipped his head to her. She was looking much better than when she first came aboard.* Don't think we've met properly yet...I'm Eric. *He stated and grinned.* Don't give her any bars to play with mate, there's a reason she hasn't sang in ages. *He said, lowering his voice to a playful tone as he winked at Evelyn. But the young lass sang anyways as they rowed. He simply smiled and laughed a little, shaking his head.*

::Jack, being Jack had watched his crew with a sort of silent smirk on his face and a dark sparkle in his eyes. He was amused, if nothing else and at the sight of land he looked even more amused:::
::The Pearl was soon anchored and the small boats ready to go ashore. Jack took his map and a few other things and got into a boat. Soon they were all rowing to shore. The beach's sand was warm and Jack touched it with his hand and looked out into the trees that were not more then ten yards away. He frowned a bit, and looked around::
::Then he took out a map and looked it over a while, then back at the beach and then map....he did this for quite some time.....and slowly a smile grew on his face::
"Well, we're here....not exactlly how I planned on gettin' here..but we're here none the less....The city of Gold...is...." Jack looked around again and then looking a bit more confident, walked up to a wall of towering vines and hacked away at it: "It's this way!" He said.::
::The vines fell away, revealing...a huge rock.....::
::Jack frowned and pointed again: "THAT way..." and marched off into the rainforest:#nosmileys

Selina looked to Michael as he spoke, her eyes darting about the deck as she stood in a defensive stance. Selina had always been one to be on her gaurd and upon this ship she was ALWAYS alert. The ship rocked as they began to head on their way and she glanced at the disgruntled Captain as he made to his cabin quickly. Looking up at Michael she gave him a smrik and sighed. As he mentioned a storm up ahead Selina looked to the darkening skies and sighed. "It's going to be a LONG night..." she stated a bit warily.
Looking back to him, placing a hand upon her hip she lifted a brow at his proposal for a bite to eat. "No I haven't slept much, actually..." she began slowly as she ran a hand through her ebony tresses that fell around her shoulders. "And a bite to eat sounds good...inviting me to dinner already?" She asked him lifting her brow. Just then the winds picked up harshly and Selina was jerked about and almost lost her footing when she was pulled close and safe.
Her green eyes looked up a bit surprised and she sighed heavily before looking away from him a bit. She didn't like this situation, him being so nice to her. It stirred feelings she didn't want to be brought up again. There was lust, that was true, but to not desire a man like Michael was to be blind. Yet there was something more and it tugged at her stubbornly. As he pulled away slightly she noticed his arm rested about her waist, but she made no effort to remove it.
"Yes...I shall watch my step...and a few other things." She stated not really noticing the sort of message that might lay behind her words. When he gave a small threat and commented on the crew Selina laughed. "Indeed...they area rather...interesting group." Selina's green eyes trailed to a few of them, one had been sitting upon a barrel, seemingly picking at his bare feet, another was working diligently and a bit obsessively at tying the perfect knot. "He enjoys keeping a rather, 'fun' lot about." She told him with a small chuckle looking up at him then clearing her throat.
She stepped back and away from Michael a bit, fearing she was enjoying his company a bit too much. "Right, so, food...sounds good." She stated as she inhaled deeply and looked to the skies. "Besides, we'll need the strength." Selina stated as she nudged Michael a bit and then headed towards the Galley.

*Tobbs had gathered up a few things she'd need on the stay on shore, taking, of course, her weapons, and an old bag full of a few other things. She was on the boats at no time, and when she walked out onto the shore in the last boat, she sighed in contentment.*
*Walking along the shore, she began to let her mind roam free until the time came when everyone was ready to go on into the jungle. She loved the beach, and so this was a great opportunity for her to relax...for now...*
*When she noted the group moving, she suddenly felt a wave of energy. She smiled brightly and went on ahead to find out where Jack was....she needed a few words with him before she forgot....*
*When she got to the lead of the group, she walked along beside him for a bit unnoticed, waiting for an opportunity...the perfect opportunity...a clearing in the trees was all she needed. She tried to get Jack to walk faster so the group would be a tad bit behind them, ushering him on as she sensed he was excited about the city of Gold. This, was really going to be fun...*
*And all of a sudden, there it was! The clearing she needed. She counted the steps...three, two, one...and in an instant she had him on the ground just hidden by a pair of trees. She was above him and looked into his eyes, a smirk slowly forming upon her lips as she noted his suprised and startled expression. She had basically tackled him to the ground, going down with him to the soil and leaves. Leaning her head on her left hand, she spoke with a hint of fake honesty and tease in her voice.*
"Hmmm....now where have I seen this before? Ohhhhh ya! That cave entrance when ya took ferever ta get to Barbossa and 'is crew! Expect it seems we've switched places...now 'o's got revenge Captain?"
*Her smirk grew, letting the playful teasing soak in before she continued, her face draw closer in towards his, feeling the tension building up slower and slower.*
"Ya know....we 'aven't talked for a bit...maybe we should make camp early, go back to the beach...I mean its luvely over there Captain....to think of the possibilities on what we could do..."
*By now she couldnt be any closer against him. Her lips were drawn lightly in a luring playful smile, the last bit she needed for him was about to come through...she let her lips fall lightly against his, just for a few seconds pause....and then she sat up, letting a little laugh escape. Standing and holding out her hand to Jack, whom was still on the floor, she rose a brow.*
"That was for bein' so busy and away fer so long! Now it seems earning things will 'ave to be my method of madness."

Evelyn looked to Rhys as she got in and shook her hand with a smile. "Rhys is it? Well welcome aboard, don' righfully know how ye got on our ship, but no one's tossed ye overboard yet so I'm guessin' yer alright." Evelyn told her as she gave her a wink. As the girl took her seat she stole a glance at Eric who didn't seem his usual cheery self but she sighed. It wasn't her problem he was being an ass. She HAD told him she was stubborn, it wasn't her fault she couldn't forgive him so easily at the moment. As Rhys began to sing Eve nodded at the song. "Oh, bloody 'ell! I've 'eard that song before! When I was on the Devil's..." Eve trailed off and then cleared her throat. "Right...well I can sing along then." Eve said brightly, drastically changing her mood. She avoided talk of that ship really, and it had been QUITE infamous so brining it up might only cause more questions to spring up really. Eric then spoke and his tone seemed a bit happier and she shot him a grin. " 'ey! I have a damned decent voice I'll tell ye that." Evelyn stated as she nudged him a bit, beginning to row away towards the shore and began to sing in a loud, rather annoying tone. "What shall we do with the drunken sailor, What shall we do with the drunken sailor, What shall we do with the drunken sailor, Early in the morning?
Hoo-ray and up she rises, Hoo-ray and up she rises, Hoo-ray and up she rises, Early in the morning.
Eve continued this rather loudly, despite a few groans of protest, and smiled the whole way. The smell of the sea, the cool breeze, the scorching Caribbean sun, and a prospect of Gold could put one in a VERY good mood. Not to mention the fact that Eric now sat next to her smiling as well... When they reached the beach Eve hopped out and looked about, wiping the bit of sweat from her brow and looked at Jack curiously as he led himself straight into a rock. Looking back at the crew and nudging Eric she said. "It's a bloody good thin' I have it all up here...or else...God help us." She said with a soft chuckle. For the moment, Eve was forgetting her problems. She was beginning to understand why she loved this life so much. It was always so vibrant, but it seemed to distract her from other matters, which before were a good thing, but now...she wasn't so sure. Looking Eric over she frowned a bit, she'd have to face her problems sooner or later.

::Jack blinked and fell, hitting the ground. Well alright...he had to admit his first thought was "rabid monkey" then he blinked and stared at Tobbs. His hand had been on his sword when he fell and he had been near ready to use it when he was thrown down::
::He didn't move when he lips settled on his, refused to breath for just a second. and then when she backed away he exhaled...his hand fell off the sword...::
::Alright....so...quick recapfor everyone who's not ben payin attention.....Tobbs....who until this time had not shown any remote interest in Jack..in THAT way.....was quite suddenly and unexpectedly showing a good deal fo interest. In fact..Jack took this as a full hearted interest. ::
::And suddenly Jack was "back in the game" as far as Tobbs was concerned...because he had until this point.....chalked her up as one of the few "untouchable" ladies he knew....ladies like well say..Elizabeth...he respected Will too much there..and Elizabeth...well she burned his rum...that was grudge worthy if there was ever a grudge to be held....this....however...::
::Never to be the one to be outdone....as far as matters concerning love, passion, whatever...Jack smiled, flashing for just a second a spark of true and pure mischief, and gave Tobbs a fully impassioned, whole hearted, dramtically done, kiss that last a few good heartbeats..you know...one of those swept back, sappy romance novel kisses.:::
:::Then backed away with a little smug smirk of "I'm still one up on you" look on his face and smiled, just daring her to react:#nosmileys

*Eric instantly picked up on the fact that Evelyns sentence trailed off at the mention of the Devils Wrath. He knew the basics of what she faced on that ship but he didn't know it all and hoped that someday she'd confide in him. Inwardly he grunted at this and rolled his eyes. If she didn't trust him how could she ever confide in him?
He grinned, though when she mentioned she had a good singing voice. Now that he thought about it he couldn't recall a time he heard her really singing. He raised a brow and eyed her.* Well then, be my guest. *He said, continuing to row towards the shore. A couple of the boats had already arrived. As soon as she started singing his eyes widened and the oars moved increasingly faster.
He coughed and blinked at her.* I envy the deaf. *He laughed and winked at her, figuring she was only teasing with her voice. Or at least he HOPED she was! He himself had a nice singing voice but he rarely showed it. When the reached land and Jack went in search of the gold city Eric raised a brow and grinned, nudging Evy a bit.* Well would you look at that. The Captains discovered a rock. I knew this trip would be worth it. *He laughed.
His brown eyes eyed the tree line curiously, making sure there weren't anymore rabid monkeys ready to attack the crew. When he noticed Evelyn looking him over he smiled at her and slipped his thumbs through his belt as he wandered off into the trees.*

Evelyn looked to Eric as he mentioned the trip being it worth it. She shook her head and sighed heavily. "An' ta think HE'S leadin' our bloody ship..." Evelyn stated with a deep sigh. She brushed a hand through her curls and then gazed about a bit as the crew started to follow their Captain into the trees. As she trudged along Evelyn blinked at the surroundings. The soft sounds of a bugs humming, birds called, and the rustling of leaves provided a cacophony of music that engulfed the crew.
"Bloody 'ell its too hot here." Eve stated as she fanned herself a bit. Off in the distance she noticed Tobbs and the Captain walking a bit quickly and she lifted a brow. "Oy! Don' go losin' us now!" Eve shouted at them waving her arm about frantically. She kept a bit close to Eric, keeping within a few steps distance and she looked over her shoulder at him. "Careful mate, ye never know WHAT might spring up on ye here..." Evelyn began as she gazed around at the lush greenery around them. Thick vines fell in their path and Eve struggled past some.
The call of a monkey startled her and she jumped a bit. Her honeyed eyes fought to see the sky through the thick canopy of trees but caught barely any glimpse of it. Looking over her shoulder at Eric she smirked. "I hope yer up ta facin' yer fears here...bein' a softie an' all it might difficult fer ye to...ARGH! WHAT IN GOD'S NAME!?!"
Evelyn suddenly hopped backward as in front of her, hanging from a tree, a large snake hissed at her. Evelyn knocked back into ERic and looked to the crew. "Run for yer bloody lives!" She shouted as she pressed herself back into Eric. "ERIC mate! Do somethin' about that! Don' just stand there!" She shouted at him nervously eyeing the snake. Taking out her sword she prodded at it a bit and then it fell to the ground, hissing violently, and making its way towards her. "GAH! HOLY MOTHER O' GOD!" She yelped as she made to go behind Eric.
"Kick it or somethin'!" She told him nudging him a bit. Evelyn had NEVER seen anything like that before and it frightened her to no end. Eve was irrational, muttering a bit, and clung to the back of Eric's shirt for dear life really.
