*Eric turned and glanced at Evelyn and as he did the wild flame in his eyes calmed though inside he was still filled with rage, not at her but at the idiot she had invited on this ship. However her reaction had been exactly what he thought it would be. At first he didn't answer, he only folded his arms. He was annoyed by the fact that he had to justify his actions.* I did it because I had to and hopefully someday you'll realize that. *He said, a hint of annoyance in his voice.
When she began to wipe the blood from his lip he brushed her hand away and pressed his fingers on it for a moment, noticing it was still bleeding. Luis had got him a good one this time.* Don't bother cleaning up anything, I can handle it myself. *He said and ignored her last question. When he heard the gulls he sighed in relief. They were close to the island now, it would be nice to get off the ship for a little while.
With one last side long glance at Evelyn he shook his head and retreated to his cabin to clean up his lip and make ready to leave the ship. In a way he hoped she wouldn't follow him. If she was upset with him throwing Luis overboard he didn't want to talk to her...or argue with her rather.*

Selina walked on and headed into her cabin. She closed the door behind her and lifted a brow curiously. She heard no footsteps, only the sound of another door. That was odd, Selina had expected Michael to follow her really. Why hadn't he? She furrowed her brows as she looked around her room. Her green eyes passing over a few things. Up on deck she heard the raucous being caused by Barbossa's crew. She heard the faint sound of a fiddle and she groaned. Everynight they held raucous events and she could never take part in them really. Only when she engaged in a drinking game, but most of the men resorted to not allowing her in anymore.
Selina had developed a close relationship with Barbossa, being considered his first mate and all made the men jealous. They didn't like her being there in the first place, but with her being so high up in the ranks on the ship, it drove them nuts really. So they did what they could to annoy her. Selina avoided this, but it was proving a bit difficult. She had already killed two of Barbossa's men and tossed one overboard so the abuse had died down a bit. But some were insistant and vengeful.
Finally after spending a few moments in her cabin she decided to see how the crew was faring, she was really just making sure they didn't catch anything on fire this time. As Selina headed out on deck an uproar came about a bit and a few wenches had made their way on board. Selina looked towards the docks and saw in the faintest light a figure, it HAD to be Barbossa. Selina smiled slyly. They would be off soon and it was about time. Turning around she barked at them all. "Alright! All the women off! We are to sail soon!" There was a silence and then a bit of laughter. "After YOU..." Came a sly voice and she groaned.
Then taking out her pistol, pulling back the hammer, she shot. The bullet killed the man instantly, sending him flying over the side of the ship and into the waters. Then she lifted a brow and looked back at the crew. "Anyone ELSE have something to say?" She asked while crossing her arms a bit.

Evelyn looked him over with a raise brow as he smacked her hand away. "Well fine then mate, have it YOUR bloody way." She growled as she pushed past him. "I was only tryin' ta help." She muttered as she made to tend to something else. As she watched him head to his cabin she shook her head angrily. "Bloody idiot..." she called after him. She then exhaled sharply, clearly annoyed at the moment and went to work, she climbed the rigging to make sure the sails were out and tied correctly.
She pondered whether she whould REALLY be mad at him but she shrugged it off. The fact was he went against what she told him AND he was being a ass about it too. Instead he resorted to mumbling under her breath a bit. "Who does he bloody think he is? Comin' on our ship, makin me all upset..." she muttered a bit incoherently. Then she looked up sharply at Mark in the crow's nest. "D'ye see any land yet?" She barked.
It was clear Eve was in one of her moods, it seemed Eve was allowing her bitter emotions to come through at the moment. In fact, she even had HALF a mind to go down and tell Eric EVERYTHING she thought about him and how he shouldn't have come back. But the stronger half, the half that loved him wouldn't allow it, so she returned to mumbling and then went down to the galley to scrounge for a bit of rum.

Mark was startled awake by the call of Evy. He looked around for a second and looked down at her.
"Uh land? I dunno."
He picked up the spyglass and looked around. He cracked a smile and looked down at Evy.
"LAND HO! LAND HO! WE GOT LAND OVER HERE!"
Mark yelled in excitement. He never thought he'd be so happy to see land in all his life. The voyage had been long and fairly boring to him, except for the fights between Eric and Luis.
He jumped down from the crows nest, not thinking before he did so. He hit the deck hard and rolled a distance. He sat where he had stopped for a moment.
"BLOODY 'ELL!"
He yelled. He grabbed his right leg and winced. Not broken, but it still hurt. He got back to his feet feeling like an ass. He popped a grin again and ran to the railing of the Pearl. He looked around and dove over the edge. He swam as fast as a fish swimming away from a shark. He couldn't hold back his excitemnt, as it was quite obvious by now. He swam and swam untill he finally landed on the beach. He yelled out in triumph. He grabbed up a handfull of the white sand and let it fall through his fingers. He looked back at the ship and smiled. He wished he had a flag or something. He stood up and leaned against a palm tree waiting for the others.
"WHAT ARE YA ALL WAITIN' FOR! GET UR ARSES OVER HERE!"
Mark yelled with a laugh. He was smileing from ear to ear. Finally there would be some adventure and danger. He began to look around the area. He picked up an empty shell from the beach and held it to his ear. He heard the sound of the ocean. Suddenly he heard a snap of a twig come from the dense jungle behind him. He spun around and pulled out his pistols. He cocked the hammer back and aimed into the trees. He stood still for a time and looked deep into the forest. A monkey burst out of the trees and latched itself onto his face. He let a shot off into the forest. He dropped his guns and tried to rip the little beast from his face. After a small struggle the creature let go and fled back into the jungle. He stood there completely stupified at what had just occured.
"What in the 'ell was that all about?!"

Just as Eve was leaving towards the galley the call for land was heard and Eve stopped dead in her tracks. "Land!?" Eve called as she looked up to Mark. Eve made to scramble back up the rigging. "Mark mate! Give me the damned spyglass!" She called at him angrily but just then he was falling towards her and Eve jumped to the side. Mark had hit the decks and Eve couldn't help but crack a small grin. "Bloody idiot..." she muttered.
Her honeyed eyes looked to the crow's nest ready to climb towards it when she spotted Mark running to the railing. "Now what in the bloody 'ell?" she asked herself as she lifted her brow. Then with a blink of an eye he was off and swimming towards the land. Evelyn laughed and ran towards him. "Ye blood idiot!" She called as she ran towards the sides of the Pearl but smiled. He was a rash one...a bit like herself really. It was refreshing, they had needed something a bit spontaneous to have happened aboard.
Looking back around Evelyn called out "Land HO!" Hoping the rest of the crew heard. Taking out the flask of rum hidded in her sash and upon her hip she took a long drought. Eve blinked, the rum always seemed to take any evil thoughts away and at the moment they were plaguing her heavily and she couldn't have that. They would be landing in the America's, uncharted, and virginal grounds. Who knew was lay deep in the jungles.
The Pearl sped away and they were approaching land soon. Within moments they would be letting go of the anchor and would be heading to shore. Eve turned her eyes towards where the cabins lay and she thought of Eric briefly but only growled a bit. The man could take care of himself, she thought. There was no need for him to be around her at the moment anyway, not with how she watned to rip his head off at the moment.

*Eric dabbed the wet cloth at his lip until the bleeding stopped and he tossed it on the edge of the wash basin, proceeding to adjust his belt and slip both a pistol and sword through it. His ears perked up when he heard Marks call of Land Ho. He grinned at this, excited to be near land again. He preferred his feet to be on solid ground as opposed to a rocking ship.
Just as he had come back out on deck he heard a splash and raised a brow, hurrying over to the railing only to find that Mark was making a rush for the shore. A moment later a shot went off and a small critter, apparently a monkey, had latched itself onto the mans face. Eric let out a laugh and shook his head.* Our first casualty, taken out by a monkey. *He grunted, messing with the pistol in his belt.
He bent over with his elbows on the railing and his chin propped up on his fists as he waited for the Pearl to dock at the beach. He glanced over at Evelyn out of the corner of his eye and quickly brought his gaze back out to the island. He wasn't happy with the fact she was upset with him, but that still didn't change the fact he was glad he'd sent that good for nothing Luis overboard.*

*Tobbs smiled over at Evy and nodded. She was reeeeaaallly looking forward to some land for a change. It'd be great to walk along the beachline in preparation for a city of Gold. The latter was of course, the best part, but she still enjoyed the thought.*
*When she witnessed the scuffle between Eric and Luis and the time he went overboard, she smiled rather than called out for others to help. She went next to Evy and leaned over the deck beside ehr and near Eric as he watched Mark attacked by a primate.*
"I woulda called 'man overboard', but it just didn't seem fit ta call Luis a man....I mean honestly, 'e fits more the profile of whatever's attacking Mark on the shore! What is that, an ant eater changed diets? .....I'm 'alf afraid to go ashore!"
*She stated so sarcasticallywith a hint of tease in her voice. This adventure would be fun, but she was still kind of distant....though she had been throughout the year, she felt something rise up in her that she hand't before. Shrugging it off and looking towards Eric, she spoke up again.*
"So I presume tha' felt good then Eric? Shoving Luis overboard did ye? Well, since I 'ear Evy woke up in yer cabin this morning, I think I caught the whiff of whats going on. I rather like things like this, you two, while at eachother's throats half the time and threatening to tackle one another, still 'ave something real special I'd say...though Eric, ya know, if ye ever turn out to be like Luis (which I HIGHLY doubt) you'll be swimmin' with the fish jus' like Sir-Smooth-Talker. Never liked the look of 'im....."
*Half the time she was looking out to sea in a more solemnmanner, and the other half she was looking at Evy and Eric with a large smile. They reminded ehr slightly of her relationship she had with Jack, and it was comforting to see that a pair of the crew could have such a thing as love. Then, as usual, Jack sprung up in her mind, and she cast a glance over in his direction, sighing lightly and shrugging again.*
"Well, luvbirds, 'ave to go get a few things before we dock. Do be mushy while I'm gone...I'd say Id hate ta miss it, but I doubt I'll not be seein' it further on in this venture."

*Michael had been back down below ship, checking supplies and other sections of the ship to guess its sufficiency and get his contentment stroked. He didn't doubt this was going to be Quite the voyage, but he had to be sure of everything. He didn't want any slip ups in plans or any information he could gain to be ruined.*
*As he went back up the stairs slowly, he began walking down the hallway where the cabin doors were. Catching the door he had recognized to be Selina's from how she passed it and noted it, He placed his hand on the handle and knocked slightly. When there was no answer, he cracked it open and peeked inside. She was gone.*
*Guessing she had gone up deck, he began heading for the stairs when the gunshot went off. Stopping dead in his tracks, the sudden assumption that this involved Selina, and she might be injured or ambushed popped into his head. In a sudden rush of slight anxiety, he made swiftly up the stairs and on deck, heading for the group of men that were facing something. His heart began to race when he pictured Selina on the ground in either an injured or deadly state.*
"Selina...!"
*His deep voice caused the group to part and let him pass, for theyd be trampled over if he hadnt. He caught her eyes and went right next to her side, glaring at the men around him as they watched with envious eyes. Keeping a protective stance, he realized he just let a weakness, the only weakness he had ever had in years, slightly be revealed. Selina and her safety was what kept his focus half the time. She had become his weakness indeed.*
"You alright then? I heard a gunshot and assumed something happened...with the crew in the state as they are...."
'And oooooo's thyis? Yer mus' be knyew sunneh. Apparyantly ya don' know 'o thyat she-devil is! To hyell with her, yer mus' be stronger! Go for it!"
*Michael had himself stationed slightly before Selina with one of his double knives to the man's throat and another just behind him as the man tried grabbing ahold of Selina's arm. He knew she could fend for herself, but he felt the need to show dominance in the fact that NO ONE would mess with her or try to when he was around. As much as he judged it to be lust, he would have to face the fact that he cared for Selina now...and as he glanced down to catch her eyes watching, he wished he could have held them for moments and moments instead of glaring back down at the beast above his blades.*
"Listen, all of you, touch Selina, you tamper with a slow, painful death. No more of this gunshot to the head. Pain will be the key factor here. I'm sure I have someone who would love to tear you all to pieces on my mark."
*Suddenly he caught ahold of someone coming towards the ship. Recognizing Barbossa, he gestured to Selina and gave the crew one last glare before letting them take the hint the Captain was coming. All of a sudden the ship became busy with workers, and it was ready to embark on the seas on Barbossa's command. Turning back to Selina, he said quietly.*
"Sorry I had to jump in there, but I couldn't resist a few threats."
*Of course he wouldnt tell ehr he was worried about ehr just yet...even if it did show throughin his eyes.*

Evelyn sighed looking out at the beaches as they neared them and then she looked over at Tobbs. Tobbs spoke up about Luis and Eve gave her a bit of a glare but it faded. She could never bring herself to really be angry at Tobbs. She was one of her closest friends aboard the ship really, so she shrugged it off. She lifted her brows at her words and blinked. "What? I only slept there because I..." Evelyn began to retort at Tobbs as she made her leave.
Eve took a step towards Tobbs as she walked away and furrowed her brows. "Luvbirds, ye say?" She sighed heavily and gave a grunt. "Luvbirds don' tear eachother ta pieces ever now and again..." she muttered. "An' YER one ta talk!" She called after her giving Tobbs a wink and a smirk. She was well aware of the tension between Tobbs and the Captain, but that wasn't too much her business really....
Still, what Tobbs said was true. Somehow, through the bickering, they actually DID tend to have their tender moments, even if half of them were a bit awkward, they were still sincere. She stole a glance at Eric, apprently he looked rather proud of his actions. "Ye shouldn' be SO bloody happy for what ye did mate. Ye TOLD me ye wouldn' fight with him..." She trailed off a bit as she stood at the edge of the ship and bit her nails. "But then again, I guess now ye do what ye like...ye never really DID listen to me before when I asked ye not to do somethin'..." Evelyn stated looking down at her gnawed nails, referring to when he had hurt her when he had promised her he wouldn't.
The wind blew softly tossing her curls across her face and she sighed heavily looking to the island as it came close. As she eyed her nails again, her honeyed eyes fell to her tattoo on her wrist and she smirked a bit, it was a funny story how she had gotten that really...

*Eric glanced casually over at Tobbs as she came over to the railing near him and he grinned at her words, a thankful look in his eyes. As he looked over at Evy he frowned a little. 'At least someones on my side' he thought to himself, looking away. Suddenly he laughed and nodded.* Maybe that thing was Luis. *He grunted in all seriousness.
As Tobbs addressed him he raised a brow and looked back at her, leaning with his back now against the rail and his arms folded across his chest. He grinned mischeviously.* It felt damn good, mate. He deserved everything he got. *He answered, though he was saying it more to Evelyn than he was to Tobbs. As she mentioned the woman waking up in his cabin he laughed a little and rubbed the back of his neck. He merley shrugged at her comments that followed.
He watched her leave and then awkwardly glanced over at Evelyn. He was a bit upset with her at the moment and highly doubted that Tobbs would be missing much. He did love Evelyn deeply but sometimes it was difficult not to go insane at times. At this thought he laughed a little then looked over at her when she began to lecture him again. He rolled his eyes and huffed but listened.
She brought up how he hardly ever listened to her and when he caught the look on her face he knew instantly what she meant and he lowered his eyes.* I said I was sorry about that. *He said quietly then sighed.* But Im not sorry about what I did this time. I didn't trust him around you. *He stated firmly and shrugged. When he noticed her eyeing her tattoo he raised a brow and gave her a questioning look.*

Evelyn looked over at Eric as he spoke up a bit and her eyes narrowed at him a bit. A part of her really DID hate him at the moment, but she knew it was just her being stubborn. She bit her nails again as he spoke and fidgeted. "Ye always say yer sorry mate...I get it...but it doesn' change tha bloody fact that ye did it." She told him firmly. One thing about Eve was she could forgive, but she COULDN'T forget. If ye did something to hurt her, she'd remember it. When he mentioned not being sorry she huffed a bit. As he said he didn't trust him around her she looked to him, her eyes still narrowed but they softened somewhat.
"Well ye should 'ave come ta me 'bout it Eric. Ye don' just go an' do things I ask ye not to. It only lessens my bloody trust in ye. An' if I can' have faith in ye..." Evelyn began as she shrugged a bit and sighed. "Then...how can I ever trust to count on ye ta be there?" she asked him, almost referring to him leaving her on the last voyage. Eve deep down still feared he would leave her, and the thought nagged at her constantly. She feared getting close to him at all really, but she couldn't help it. Evelyn loved him.
When she noted his brown eyes looked to her tattoo Evelyn blushed a bit and covered it up with her sleeve. She smirked, wondering what Eric would think if he had seen the other as well. Again it hit her she would have to explain quite a few things to him in the near future, but she didn't exactly dread it too much. She only hoped she would be strong enough to tell him everything.

*Eric nodded a little but said nothing, knowing she was right. He had said it and he'd never be able to take it back, though he wished often that he could have. He sighed heavily and shook his head some, rolling his eyes as she continued talking.* What would you have done if I had come to you about it, Evy? You knew I didn't trust him and yet he was still on this bloody ship. *He stated in both a defensive and angry manner.
However the flicker in his eyes quickly softened and he eyed her. He could understand her not trusting him to stay, he wasn't even sure if he really could although he wanted to. This time he wouldn't make a promise unless he could keep it and so he didn't say either way if he would stay or go.* Evelyn I can't make you trust me, I wont even ask you to. I guess Ill just hope that someday Ill prove it to you. *He said in a soft, simple tone. He wanted her trust but didn't know if he deserved it.
He didn't even know if he trusted her fully. He knew she hid a lot from him. Finally they reached the shores of the island and his dark eyes scanned the tree line curiously. He'd learned a bit from Marks earlier actions. Reaching out he gave Evelyn a squeeze on the shoulder.* Well, we're here. Come on. *He said, flashing her a smile as if it would help ease the tense situation and he trotted off to pile into one of the small boats that would take them to the shore.*

Selina blinked as suddenly the men gathered around her. Instantly she made to grab her sword but her green eyes looke up as a tall man came parting the crew. "Michael?" Selina asked softly as she lifted a brow. When he looked to her and spoke Selina gave a sly smirk. "Do not worry, I am alright..." She began, her heavy spanish accent adorning her speech. When another man spoke up Selina glared at him. She stepped forward but in a flash Michael had his blades out and Selina lifted her brows. She stepped to the side, looking around Michael's large stature at the men around them and they eyed him fearfully.
Some looked at him with pure malice, but the fear was still there as well, marking their weakness. It surprsied her to see Michael THIS protective and she wondered of his true intentions with her. Was he doing this out of sheer lust? Selina HAD a tendency of having that affect on men, but she couldn't help but hope he TOO wasn't only after her for a night alone in a cabin.
Still she wouldn't be surprised by it either. She almost liked this really, it was like having her own gaurd dog really. Selina had SOMETHING like that before with Damien and as her thoughts turned to him she frowned again. Yet, HE had NEVER been able to care for her the way Michael was at the moment. But what she had with Damien she doubted she'd have again. It was passion, lust, love...
As he turned back and spoke Selina jumped a bit, she had been brought out of her thoughts of Damien and she sighed. "It is alright, you really did not need to but...I cannot say I didn't like having someone stand up for me." She told him with a bit of a sincere smile which rarely crossed her face. Her ruby lips parted again as she looked up into his eyes and she sensed a softness in them. Selina knew men well enough when she saw lust, but there was not TOO much of that really and it puzzled her.
"Please, Michael, don't get killed over me just yet...you might come in handy." She told him giving him a wink and letting her hand pat the side of his face and then smooth down his neck a bit before she pulled her hand away.

Evelyn looked to Eric with glaring eyes again. He was angry with her that was clear and she didn't like it. "What would I have done? Well I WOULD have maybe stayed away from 'im..." she shrugged as her voice rose with each word. She looked to the shores and noticed they had anchored and were preparing to leave. "Gah...you know what? I can' trust ye...not with the way ye've been 'round me so far." She told him accusingly as she dug her finger into his chest a bit. "Ye jus'...I mean, when its the ONE person ye care 'bout most lettin' ye down, its hard." She stated flatly as she crossed her arms.
She shook her head as the soft breeze blew, tossing his golden curls about and a smirk parted her lips for a moment, but she returned to being cross again. "An'...an'...I WANT ta be nice ta ye at the moment...but I can't." Eve stated with a nod. "Ye know why? Because I'm bloody stubborn, an' I CAN' let things go..." She muttered as she made to get into one of the boats rapidly. Just as she made to enter the boat she stopped dead in her tracks and then began to make sure everything was in place. A soft muttering could be heard. "Righ', pistol, sword, map..." at this she pointed to her head a bit and mumbled again. "Rum..." saying this Evelyn pulled out her flask and shook it a bit.
"Bloody 'ell!" she called in surprise and in a flash she escaped down into the galley where she refilled her rum flask and then headed towards the boat with a nod. She pushed her way into the boat and found a seat next to an oar, she'd be ready to row once they hit the waters.
She glanced up at Eric then, waiting for him to join her in the boat and she lifted a brow. "Well? Don' just stand there like an' idiot! Get in 'ere!" she called with a huff and a bit of a chuckle. When he had taken his place next to her she shook her head. "I dunno HOW we'll EVER stay tagether long mate..." she finally said as she exhaled and nudged him playfully a bit, wanting to let the matter go and simply embrace him, but couldn't.
Instead she gripped the oar gently and looked upwards as the boat was gently lowered onto the waters. "Gah! Jack mate don' ferget the bloody map!" Eve called out at the Captain and sighed heavily. "El Dorado...here we come..." Evelyn smirked.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Luis blacked out and the next thing he felt was a sand. For a moment he had thought he had died, the punch that had been delivered to him across the face had knocked him out good, but it seems there was a purpose yet for him in the world, for when he opened his eyes he saw sun. Gulls could be heard in the distance a bit and he lay there for many moments, simply happy he had survived the whole ordeal, he had expected Eric to have killed him, instead he had allowed him to survive. As he sat up slowly he blinked, he head was dizzy and pounding.
Bringing a finger to his nose he dabbed at it seeing blood. "Hah...barely a scratch." He laughed as she shrugged a bit. Where he was, he hadn't a clue, but looking down at the brown beaches and looking into the thick jungles behind him he knew it wasn't any of the Caribbean islands. Luis knew the waters and islands like the back of his hand, this was Central America. He gave a sly grin and peered FAR down the shore line, seeing in the distance a ship with black sails and he stood with a maniacle grin on his face.
"The fools..." he began as he cackled and shook his head, shaking out his greasy black strands of hair. "Ah, especially that Evelyn woman...I'll find that City of Gold...and I know EXACTLY who could help me..." he smiled slyly as he head into the jungles and out of sight.
Rhys stood unsure of what to do. Her weakness had passed for the moment, leaving her standing alone watching the calm ocean waters. It was soothing and reminded her of her days as a youngster sitting on her Papa's knee as he told her stories of his days as a sailor. The gentle rocking and the faint smell of salt that clung to him even years after he had left the sea. As the call of land went up, Rhys looked around. There on the horizan land was at last. Watching the young man who had come down jump overboard and swim towards shore, she smiled slightly. The land was steadily growing larger revealing lush green forests and sparkling streams. Even a mountain could be seen in the distance, snow white caps looking purple from the clouds and sun. Looking around she saw some of the crew preparing to drop the anchor, while others still readied the smaller boats to go on shore. The theif knew she was not part of the crew, yet she could not just stand around as others went to work readying the boat for their adventure on land. Making her way across the deck she picked up a line and fell into the rythm with the crew as they began to haul the boats over the side of the Pearl. She relaxed into the rythm quite easily and soon found herself singing an old sea shantie her father had taught her. "To me way - ay - ay - yah! We'll pay Paddy Doyle for his Boots!
To me way - ay - ay - yah! We'll all drink brandy and gin!
To me way - ay - ay - yah! We'll all shave under the chin!
To me way - ay - ay - yah! We'll all throw dirt on the cook!" Soon enough, she found that the boats were in the water and people were beginning to board them eager to go ashore. She quietly made her way out of the crowd unsure of what to do once again.
