A year has passed since the events concerning the gods of Greece. Since then Jack and the crew’s lives had been quite uneventful, well as uneventful as a pirate life can get that is. With a few new crew members, Jack has sailed his crew to hell and back, pillaging, plundering, and gaining quite the notorious reputation. However, one not so scheduled trip to England, and to Evelyn’s home town, has brought about a new treasure to seek, a new endeavor, and possibly the next great adventure for Jack Sparrow and those aboard the Black Pearl.
A map has been found, once believed to be lost to the infernos of a previous pirate raid. A map revealing the location of a treasure TOO good to pass up, despite the warnings of a curse within it, an entire city of gold is a bit hard to pass up. With the map both in Evelyn’s trusted memory, and in Jack’s hand his crew are ready to go to hell, quite literally, and back for a piece of this city of gold.
Meanwhile, Barbossa hasn’t missed a beat, and although he was beaten to the ultimate relic last time, this time it is HE who has the upper hand. Although Jack and crew know about the treasure, they remain oblivious to the true power resting there, the Dagger of Curunin, an ancient dagger that posses the power to send those it kills to the Underworld, a hellish purgatory until the ending of the world. Barbossa’s thirst for vengeance is all but insatiable, and it is for THIS reason Bossa also makes for Central America, hoping through simply wandering about he too can find this city of Gold and the dagger which would finally give Jack Sparrow his due.
When Barbossa finds Jack Sparrow also in the jungles however and learns of Evelyn’s knowledge as to the location of the gold he concocts an evil plan that would not only give him the way to the City of Gold, but also an edge in the never ending battle between Barbossa’s crew and Jack’s. It’s a scramble and tangle to riches and relics…with not only eachother to compete with, but also the jungles themselves who also have threats within them that neither crew has even begun to prepare for… Rules:
1. no spamming 2. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER 3. NO cursing!!!! 4. Common curtesy is a must 5. NO GODMODING (unless otherwise stated) 6. have fun maties -Plot credited to Evy and Bossa Current Going ons... Well....We've just hit a storm! woot party on deck

((Has anyone decided to acknowlege Rhys yet? Or am I the only one?)
::Jack helped hual his daughter and crew men back on deck, shook his head at Tobbs's comment and smirked: "Aye...seems to run in the blood doesn't it?"
::And then suddenly everyone scattered, going to get dried off or sleep, or go argue. Jack was silent, pondering this over a while. Now he knew what Gibbs meant by bad luck having women aboard. Hormones.::
::But all the same he smiled at his odd crew and went about his business. The storm was really going to be a strong one. already the winds were howling, thunder was rumbling in the sky. Lighting. What fun...:::
::and then...he caught sight of something in a flash of lighting. A small boat......what in the name of all the sea demons.....?:::
::He grabbed a rope and leaned over the side of the Pearl, peering as hard as he could into the water. yes it was a little boat. He saw something in it.....a person....:: "MAN OVERBOARD!!!!!" His cry rang out::
::Jack was a pirate....that was true. And most pirates would honestly care less....but....well....he wasn't one to let some poor fool die in a storm in the middle of the sea either....::
::He ran up the deck, grabbed a lamp, and looked around for something to make a torch....something for the person to see if they were alive. He settled for a part of a broken barrel, and he used his sash to tie around the top, then he simply broke the lamp open and poured the oil out onto it....and he had a torch::
::He waited, trying to listen for a shout or see any signs of movment::

// sorry everyone. lately I've been so busy at work its not even funny. I'm working like ten hour days or more. and its insane. So sorry. really, I'll try and catch up, but Jack advised me to follow him for a few posts so I can get back into the rpg. ok? thanks for the patience all!//
Roux had heard Jack's cry of a man overboard. He ran over as Jack lit the torch and held it high. He could see the boat too, and peered out into the chruning water.
"you think someone is alive out there, Captain?" He asked. If Jack said yes, Roux would jump in the water without question. Jack had restored Roux's life a year ago, he would give his to help his captain.

< Welcome back, Princeling Roux. LOL. Thank you for the card too. made me smile>
Lily had also heard her captain's shout. She had gone below deck once the chaos of pulling what seemed like half the crew back on deck, Rose included. She stopped, wondering just how many people had decided to dive into the water.
Her second thought was that there must be a reason for half the crew to go sailing over board, and her thoughts went to the rum. but no. Jack would have been in the water already had it been one of his own crew. So this was someone else.
She went over to the side and looked overboard, she couldn't see much in this mess and she gave Roux a questioning look. "someone's out in this storm? you'd have to be insane or a Sparrow to be in the water now!"

::Jack gave Lily a smirk at her last comment:: "I'll let that slide, seeing as how for the most part, that would be true. But yer forgettin luv, Sparrows fly through storms. They don't go plunging into the water, savvy?"
::He stared harder then nodded:: "someone's out there. But if they're alive that's a diffrent story." ::he frowned trying to get a better look. but between the sea spray and the lighting he was having a bit of trouble focusing::
"I'll go in." And he began tying a rope around his waist, and he handed one end to Roux and Lily: "Pull me up once I've got them."
::and he dived off the side of the ship, plunged under water. At once everything was silent, the water always could mute sound. no more storm under here, just a rolling current. He swam under water a while, holding his breath and finally he surfaced, gulping in air::
::and he was near the boat. Near the small craft. He swam harder::

* Even in her unconcious state she could feel the heat of her body burn her. Her eyes fluttered open seeing a blurry figure beside her. She swept her hand over her head, clearing sweat beads that made their way down her forehead and stinging her eyes. She forcefully pushed herself up with what strength hadn't been formerly drained from her body and stared straight into their eyes. She wasn't quite sure who it was exactly only that they had probabably found her on deck. She pressed her hand into her forehead trying to ease the pain of the early signs of a hangover*

//not a problem Ary. We just want you back on the PR with us. Take care of yourself okay?//
Roux blinked when Jack dived overboard. Well so much for the idea of Roux being heroric. Apparently Jack wanted to get in the water before the storm was over. Heavens forbid Jack did not end up overboard in the middle of a storm. The man just couldn't stay out of the water.
He watched, holding the rope in a death grip with Lily beside him. He watched, saw Jack resurface and make for the small boat. "JACK!" He called over the wind. "HURRY! IT'S GETTIN' BAD!" He cringed as another streak of lighting raced over the sky.
He felt a tug on the line as Jack gained a few more yards and he let the rope go slack for asecond, giving the Captain a bit more rope then held on again, tightly. He wouldn't let go of this rope to save his life.

::Jack sputtered and came up on the boat. He registered two facts at once::
:::one there was in fact a person on this boat, a girl. and two...she was alive::
::Jack didn't bother with introductions or plesantries. He hauled himself up on the boat and coughed a few times then grinned: "Wet business this is, isnt' it?" And without some much as another whisper, he grabbed her around the waist and dived back into the water with her::
::He gave the rope a few good hard tugs to let Roux and Lily know they could start pulling him up now, and he held fast to the girl, not really caring about much more then getting back on board::
:;then he was on deck, sputtering coughing and generally a soaking wet mess:: "Bloody......" He muttered and stood up, and offered a hand to the girl: "Ye know generally yer supposed to be out in a boat that small in a storm this big......savvy?"

"Yes you are...."
*He said the last bit with a slight smirk as he watched her walk ahead to lead him to the cabins. It was a tempting scenery, the faint light, the rocking of the ship, the engulfing darkness he stepped into when she mentioned it was liveable. It was comfortable for him, he thought when he let himself be hidden by the shadows' veils.*
"Cozy...."
*Smiling and slapping a match upon a blade, he lit a few candles that sat on a small table and turned back to her. Sweeping his arm down and gesturing her to enter, he let his eyes fall upon hers once again as the small light flickered upon her face.*
"So then, this is my home away from home, is it? Well, we'll be leaving by early light then? or when the Captain returns? Either way, that gives a bit of...spare time, so to say. Any suggestions on how to fill it up here on the ship?"
*He had inched closer towards her and searched ehr face with the cocky yet charming grin he'd grown to wear. His eyes revealed the glint of lust for a brief second before he shook it away and hid any traces of the sort. It was such a tempting situation, and she was such a tempting lure, that while he figured he could just slam the door and take her right then and there, he didn't think itd be as worth it for some reason. Selina could defend ehrself, and while he doubted she could break free from his tight hold, he was captured by her overall air and person. She was beautiful, everything about ehr, and for a moment he felt himself slipping into more than just a lusting passion, but a passion to just be around her, get to know her, be someone special almost to her....something was tugging at him...*

*Tobbs sent Rose and Hawk a nod and a smile as the two went off already arguing if Rose should stay or not, and gave an agreeing nod as well to Jack as he spoke. Then suddenly, everyone was crowding to the side of the ship when she heard "Man Overboard!" at the same time. All of a sudden, Jack was nowhere to be found and she gave a weary sigh. She knew where'd he gone off to.*
*When he returned with a certain someone in his arms, her brow rose and she gazed at Rhys with a mix of curiosity and alarm. She always judged things to be the worst, and so she had assumed this new visitor was etiher a spy or a danger somehow. She leaned on the barrel behind her and gave Jack a quick side glance, plotting to say a few words on the matter to him, in both tease and solemnity.*

Mark looked a Eric with a confused look. Why wouldn't he let him in? He shoved off the thought and looked at him. The ship began to sway a little from the storm brewing outside. The wood began to creak and make cracking sounds.
"Nothin wrong mate. Just checking to see if you are all doin okay."
He smiled and turned to go outside and see what he could do. He had already tied down the cannons and made sure some of the ropes for the sails and the like were secure. When he stepped out on deck swells of water began to spill onto the deck. He looked up and could see the clouds glow with blue fire. He didn't like to be outside during a storm, but he had to help keep the ship afloat. Suddenly he heard a cry of 'Man overboard!'. He ran over to where Jack was. The captain began to tie a rope around his waist. Mark looked out towords the horizon. There was in fact someone in the water. He could also make out the shape of a small boat. Suddenly Jack leapt into the raging waters.[/b]
"Is he nuts or something! Wait....never mind. Indeed he is."
Mark yelled to Roux

Selina walked in slowly as Michael beckond her to enter. Her hand instantly grasped her sword tightly. She had never been too comfortable with being asked to come into another man's room. Her green eyes glanced around the room as the ship rocked softly. He lit a couple candles and she stood close to the door, ready to make her leave quickly if needed. Judging from Michael's stature he looked as if he could TRULY make it difficult for her to escape his grasp.
As she stood there and the seconds passed however, she loosened up a bit. If he had wanted to take her, he would have done so by now, but then again, this man was a bit different. Perhaps he waited a bit.
As he stepped closer Selina cowered a bit and took a small step back, but stayed as he moved a bit closer. She looked up to him and gave a small laugh as he asked what she thought they could do to pass the time. Selina gave a small laugh. "Well you could...turn out the candles..." she began slowly and in a smooth, velvety voice. Her hand ran down the length of his arm and she lifted a dark brow. "...close the door..." she said as she looked him over from head to toe. "And...simply sink...into...your own thoughts...as you..." she said softly as she stepped back a bit. "Go right to sleep." she told him with a wink, closing his door and giving him a wink.
As she turned to leave towards her cabin she wondered if he would follow really...

Hawk sighed, running his fingers through his hair. "Too damn stubborn, that girl is," he grumbled, but conceded that Sarah was right. "Thanks..." Then he paused. "Luis? Nah...only that I caught 'im threatnin' Mark earlier." His eyes clouded over; he may not trust Mark, but threatening another crew member was unexcusable. "Still, Mark did provoke 'im," Hawk added, to be fair. "God, we got 'n excitable bunch o' new folks aboard..." He raised an eyebrow at the commotion, seeing another new girl aboard, but he figured he'd check that out later. "Why d'you ask?" he asked Sarah.
Rose was still coughing at intervals as she made her way across the wet deck; her swagger was a bit more pronounced than usual, but otherwise she looked fine. Her checking of the equipment to make sure everything was tied down was interrupted when she saw Jack dive overboard after the girl.
"DAD!" she yelled, groaning as she ran over to where Lily, Roux, Tobbs, and Mark were. "God, 'e's mad!" she grumbled, coughing. "I'll kill 'im once he gets back!"
When Jack did return on the deck, helping the girl up, Rose promptly strode over and smacked his shoulder; she was one of the few who dared to do that. "You're abs'lutely blinkin' mad," she informed him sternly. "Y'know better'n t'dive overboard in weather like this! If y'get yourself 'urt I'll kill ya." Rich words coming from someone just as soaked as Jack was, but that was Rose for you...

Rhys stared at the ship as it steadily grew closer. Her small boat began to rock violently in the waves, but it didn't phase her. She saw a small fire go up on deck, and prayed that it meant they had seen her. She had long since worn her voice out with screaming. Now all she could manage was a faint whisper, that one would have to lean in to hear with this storm. A giant wave splashed against the side of her boat covering her in salty water and jogging her back into reality.
Lightning hit water not too far from her tiny boat. That one flash of lightning sealed her fate. She settled back on her heals, positive she was in for a long ride before her end came. No one in their right mind would get into the water to save a girl in the middle of a lightning storm. It was asking for death. Sighing, she closed her eyes and silently wished for her brother to have a long life and enjoyable time. He had always been there for her when she needed it, but now she had blotched things up badly and he couldn't save her. No one could.
A peal of thunder brought the young theif back into the present and she opened her eyes to see a soaking wet man speaking to her. She was shocked into silence, but could not understand what he was saying. Her mind was not comprehending. He grabbed her around the waist and jumped into the water. For a moment, she believed that he was going to finish her off, drown her himself and she struggled against his grip. As they rose through the air, she realized that he had come to her rescue and she settled down.
Resting on the deck, sopping red hair covering her sunburned, starved face, she found herself under the scrutiny of several men and women. Staring at them for a moment, she suddenly realized that they were pirates. Her gaze drifted to the man infront of her as he began to talk. He had risked his life for her. He was a pirate, but he had rescued her. "Well not all pirates can be bad," she reasoned in her mind. "I've met enough theives that aren't horrible." Looking up at the people gatherd around her, she smiled crookedly. "It's much fun being in a tiny boat in the middle of the storm. I prefer it to hangin' from a noose," she said in answer to her rescuer. As he offered her his hand, her grin widened slightly and she held up bound hands in explanation. The wrists were red and begining to bleed again from the tussle with the ocean. "Thanks for savin' my tail back there. The name's Rhys Tol-" her voice gave out and she suddenly found her vision spinning. Lack of food and water was sending her mind realing.

*As Eric glanced past Mark and down the hall he had just caught site of Luis slipping cautiously out of Evelyns room and he raised a curious brow. Why had the man been in there? Looking for her perhaps...or maybe he had been looking for something while she was away? Either way Eric glarred at him, pondering if he should slip out and say something.
However as he glanced over his shoulder at Evelyn who was steadying herself after nearly tipping out of the bed he smiled and gave a soft laugh, deciding it was best to let the matter go. At least for the time being. His brown eyes locked back on Mark. He grinned a little, noticing the look on Marks face which clearly explained the man was curious about not being invited in.* Evelyns fine mate, thanks. *He said, tipping his head as the lad walked off.
Eric watched him go and glanced back in the direction of Evelyns own cabin for a moment before finally closing his door and plopping down beside her on the bed, his back against the wall as his long legs hung off the side of the bed. He yawned, running his hands over his eyes as he gripped the bed post to keep from rolling out of bed. Suddenly he laughed and glanced over at Evelyn, shaking his head a bit.* You make life damn interesting Evy. *He grinned, still laughing.*
