"I'm not tryin' ta impress you! Ha! Tha's funny Eric, almost forgot ye were an entertainer." Evelyn told him winking at him. Evelyn looked up at him as he attempted to help her comb back her curls a bit. His hand brushing her hair gently and smoothing her skull. His touch was stern yet gentle and she couldn't help but wish he didn't pull away when he did.
He sat upon the edge of the ship and she pondered attacking him for a bit. When he practically invited her too she stood up slowly. "No." Eve said slowly with a sly smile, placing a hand on her hip as she approached him slowly. "Eric...I would never do tha' to ye. Ye know I care 'bout ye...more than anythin'..." Evelyn told him trying to sound sincere and surprisingly, pulling it off. "I would never, ever try and hurt ye that way." Evelyn told him softly as she brought herself really close to him. Her hand resting on his chest and another went to his cheek gently. "Eric...I wouldn' try...I WOULD!" Evelyn told him sternly.
Then she gave him a sharp push and he fell away, but he grabbed her around the waist in a flash and Eve was pulled over as well. Her knee knocked hard into the side of the ship as they swung out over the sea. "AH!" Evelyn yelped loudly and immediately her arms latched around his waist. She closed her eyes and began to breathe in heavily. "ERIC! ERIC don' ye let me fall!" She called up at him angrily trying to steady herself.
Her honey eyes burned into him. "I can' believe ye did that!" She yelled. The swung away and remained there. When the swining of the rope stopped they hung there. Suspended over the deep blue sea, Evelyn looked down and then buried her face in Eric's stomach. Her heart pounding and she just realized how much she hated suspending over water...

*Eric grinned as she said she had forgotten he was an entertainer and a hurt, but obviously playful expression came across his face.* And after I tried so hard you went and forgot! *He exclaimed. Then she started to walk towards him and at her words his head cocked to the side and his brows furrowed in a rather confused manner. Why was she saying those things to him? Surely she didn't mean them. He swallowed hard as her hand went to his cheek and the other to his chest and he was about to smile when suddenly she pushed him. He jerked backwards, but not before grabbing her around the waist and sending her over the side with him. His heart was pounding as he clung hold of the rope as tightly as he possibly could. Slowly he glanced down at Evelyn who was latched on tightly to his waist, then his eyes trailed to the waters below which were not only cold but moving swiftly beneath the ship as well considering the new wind they had picked up. Then he gasped as she was seemingly blaming this predicament on him.* You're the one who shoved me! If I was going down I was taking you with me mate. *He said, looking back down at her. Then he glanced back up towards the railing wondering if anyone saw them go over. With all that was happening on deck he doubted they did.* Evelyn you're going to have to climb up higher I can't hold on much longer with you around my waist like that. *He said, feeling his grip start to loosen about the rope. His arms were starting to shake but he wasn't letting go if he could help it. He wanted to reach down and grab hold of Evelyn but if he moved his hands at all they'd be visiting Davey Jones in a heart beat.* Im not gonna let you fall don't worry. *He said softly, looking back down at her. Then, mustering up some strength he climbed a little higher up the rope but could go no further and they were still far below the railing.* Well do you want to set aside pride and call for someone or do you have a better idea? You are the "brillant" one after all. *He snickered.*
*Will glanced over his shoulder towards Eric and Evelyn but quickly noticed that the two of them were gone. He raised a brow and glanced around for a moment and then he slowly grinned and laughed softly to himself. He figured the two had finally set aside their bickering and found a cabin somewhere to "resolve" their problems.* Sometimes I'm glad I'm married. *He said softly to himself.*

Evelyn held on tightly as he spoke. When he called her the brilliant one she smirked and gave half a laugh. "Ha...tha' would be funny if I was bloody danglin' over the ocean!" she called up at him still grasping on. She was losing her grip around his waist and she'd need to do something. "Right, hold still." Eve told him with a bit of a grunt as she began to try and make so she could grab hold of the rope as well.
Evelyn reached up once, her hand slipped. She reached up again, almost. Then she reached up once more and luckily caught hold of Eric's wrist, then pulled herself up quickly and grabbed hold of the rope. "Don' look down mate." She told herself calmly. There they were, hanging on for dear life on a rope over the sea. Evelyn's face looked down at Eric as now her hand rested on an exposed part of the rope above his hand. "Brilliant, bloody fantastic. Are ye plannin' any more ways to get us killed?" she asked lifting a brow.
With a struggle she tried to swing, but that didn't work. They were stuck there, too close for comfort, a grin across his face. "This isn' funny ye know?" She said. Her eyes scanned the deck and she swallowed her pride. "Ahoy there! Man overboard! Well...sorta..." Eve mumbled. She held on tightly and closed her eyes. "I'm gonna kill ye...if we live...I swear Eric, I'm gonna kill ye." She told him not opening her eyes. Her heart pounded and they were so close she could sense him breathing on her.
She turned to him abruptly. "An' would ye stop breathin' on me." Evelyn told him shuddering a bit. She was turning a bit grouchy and then closed her eyes. Still her arm found its way around him, trying to make sure she wouldn't fall, knowing he wouldn't let her go...at least not unless he was really askin' to die...

*Eric struggled to keep his grasp as Evelyn climbed up him trying desperatly to find her own grasp upon the rope. She slipped once or twice causing his heart to skip beats and he nearly slipped himself.* Evelyn bloody hell you're gonna knock me off the rope if you keep moving around so much. *He cried, watching as she finally got her grasp on the rope. He rolled his eyes and shook his head at her comment and he looked at her and his eyes narrowed a bit.* I was only pretending to knock you off, you actually did it. Its your own fault. *He said, his voice growing more irritated with every word that rolled off his tongue. Then he grinned and almost laughed as she tried to swing them up closer to the railing. They barely moved.* No it is a little funny, espeically since Im not the one scared of dangling over the water here. *He stated, then suddenly looked at her oddly.* You know for being a pirate its rather odd youre scared of being over water. *He said then laughed again as she called out for help and said she'd kill him if they lived. He glanced at his hands around the rope then looked back at her as she wrapped her arm around him once again and yelled at him for breathing on her.* Yeah well you're a little close to my face too you know. And since it looks like I'm dead either way I may as well go out a happy man. *He said and kissed her suddenly right on the lips, mostly just to see if he could agitate her even more. He wasn't sure why but he enjoyed it a little bit, the quick kiss. Whether it was because he knew he'd succeed in pissing her off or whether it was because of something elese didn't matter to him at the moment. She couldn't do much to him unless she wanted to fall, and by the feel of her grasp she wasn't exactly wanting that.*

Evelyn glared at Eric as he spoke to her. "I'm not scared of the water..." Evelyn told him trying to readjust herself so that she was in a somewhat comfortable position, but at the moment not matter what she did she was in contact with him. "I'm scared of dying!" she told him with a growl. Evelyn tried waving her arm frantically and calling out again when he began to talk again, something about going out a happy man when suddenly he kissed her.
Evelyn's eyes went wide and she pulled away, after a moment or two, and spat out to sea. "Why ye good fer nothin' sack of a sea dog!" Evelyn called out angrily at him furrowing her brows in anger. She shook her head. "Is this what ye're like? Takin' advantage of women when they can' retaliate?" Evelyn bellowed as the rope began to shake a bit. "Oh, if I wasn' holdin' on for dear life, Eric Jackson, I'd have slapped ye straight across the face...ye better have enjoyed that, because ye will be dead!" Evelyn scowled. Her eyes turned to the deck. Her face had grown red hot from the incident and her arm shook a bit.
Her hand slid down the rope a bit and now she was cluthing his wrist again. Eve maneuvered again. "Don' say another damned word to me." She stated to him flatly. She waved an arm frantically. "Emma! Rick! CAP'N!!!" Her voice echoed throughout the surrounding breeze. She didn't want to be here a moment longer, but in her struggle her hand fell away again.
Evelyn had lost her grip momentarily and slipped downward a bit, both her arms around his waist. This was the last place she wanted to be...Evelyn growled in frustration but decided to just not move a muscle. The spray of the sea could be felt here and she was chilled to the bone. She looked up the side of the ship hoping someone would come along.
Emma had been staring the woman down and smiled at Tobbs as she ranted at the woman. Who the bloody hell did she think she was anyway? "My opinon' 's we toss 'er overboard an' are done with it. She doesn' need ta be 'ere." Emma spoke up joining the quarrel.
Just then Rick heard the sounds of yelling, Emma's name was being called out to the winds and it had reached him. Her turned his green eyes from Emma for just a moment, convincing himself that she wouldn't disappear before his very eyes, and looked behind him. Nothing. Still his curiosity was getting the better of him and he stepped away from the gathering crowd. As he turned the corner, looking around the entrance to the cabin's below, he spotted Eve and Eric. They were suspended over the sea, hanging onto a rope. 'What the bloody hell?' He thought with a small laugh. "Emma!" Ge' over 'ere would ya, yer friend Evy needs ya." He called out.
Emma turned at Rick's call. She left the crowd pushing her way through a bit disgruntled at the whole matter and hurried to Rick's side. "Wha'?" she asked. Then Rick took her face and turned it for her. Her eyes went wide and she ran towards them. Emma looked down over the railing at the two below. "Bloody 'ell! Evy!?" She raced towards them, seeing Evelyn dangle, holding Eric's waist wasn't too reassuring and she made to try and get them back.
Rick rushed over and stood by Emma. "How'd you two en' up like tha'?" Rick asked lifting a dark brow.
Emma scowled. "Stop askin' stupid bloody questions!" Emma retorted with a small smack on his head. "How'd ye get there..." She murmered trying to figure out a way to get them back over.
"Hey could ye two hurry? I'm slippin' a bit here an' I really, really, don' want ta hit those waters again." Evelyn said in a shaky tone. She stared down then looked by up and began to do something she hadn't in a long while...pray. Then as she looked upward to make her peace with God she smiled, but saw Eric's face and she grumbled. "If I die mate, i's yer fault!" She told him angrily still remembering the kiss. Evelyn thought about it for a moment and smiled weakly. No matter how short it was, and why he had done it she had enjoyed it that was certain. But she knew this was the only way he'd kiss her. Once they got back on deck he'd forget about it and remember Ashley once again.
Evelyn might have kissed him this once, but Ashley owned his heart, and in the end that would beat her out everytime...not like it really mattered though...right?

*Tobbs could hear something calling over the winds...she really tried to ignore it, she was focused on Callisto. When finally she could no more take it, she snarled and shouted, "WHAT!??"*
*Being in an angry mood, Tobbs muttered and cursed under her breath. She really didn't want to leave Callisto free from the edge of her saber. Sighing and hearing Rick and Emma, and glancing over the side of the ship, she'd guessed what happened. Someone was overboard, or going to be, and it wasn't likely they'd get them too easily from the sea.*
*Giving one last glare at Callisto, she turned, put her saber in its sheath, and walked passed Jack, making sure to hit him against his shoulder with her own shoulder and muttered whilst doing so.*
*Rushing over to the side of the ship next to Emma and Rick, she slightly gasped. There was Eric and Evy hanging onto a rope for dear life. How they got there, she didn't know.*
"Alrigh', 'o chased 'o over deck this time?"
*She grinned and her temper had been cooled, her anger restored with worry and a bit of humor. She got on her hands and knees and examined how far they were down. Perhaps two ropes would solve the problem? Or maybe she could lower herself and help them up with someone holding onto her legs?*
*Grabbing a spare rope that she'd found below and set upon a barrel before Callisto came aboard and tying it to the railing, she made sure it was low enough to reach them. This would be the safer route, so why not try it first?*
"Evy, Eric, there's a rope by the right of ye. One of ye take that one and climb up to this 'ere railing, and the other follow. The knots secure, and it won't come undone. If ya can' climb the rope, then we'll think of something else ta do. One of us might 'ave to be lowered down there when someone's 'oldin their feet and then grab ahold of one of ye and pull ya up. Or someone ould swing down on another rope and get one of ye, but that might end ya up right where ya started....let's try this first one first!"
*Watching with special care, she wondered what Callisto was doing....she didn't feel safe, not safe at all. Her mind shifted to her new friends though, and she carefully examined their climb up.*

*As Evelyn pulled away from his kiss and started to yell at him, as well as insult him, he raised a brow and struggled his hardest not to smile. But it became to difficult and he couldn't help but grin.* Well you did linger a moment or two you know. *He smirked and then he looked slightly shocked as she asked if this was how he really was. For a single moment he wondered if he should have done that but either way there was no taking the kiss back now. It happened and he'd have to leave it at that.* Can you really live without me now Evelyn, if I die? *He asked while he laughed. He knew she could live without him, everyone else could but he figured he'd joke about it none the less. As she demanded that he not say another word to her he just rolled his eyes a bit but actually remained quiet for a rather long while. Even as she began to slip he remained quiet, though he was watching her grasp closley. Little by little she slipped until she was dangling from his waist again, which again was causing him to loose his own grasp. He wrapped his leg about her to keep her from falling and then he quickly looked down at her.* Im doing this to keep you from falling so don't take it the wrong way alright? *He said in almost a mocking sort of tone. Then he heard the voices of Rick and Emma and his eyes shot upwards and he smiled at them. When Evelyn said she'd blame him if she died he looked back down at her, groaned, and looked back up at the couple above them.* Bloody hurry before I let go on purpose. *He called up to them. He glanced at Tobbs as she offered her own assistance. He pondered her idea for a moment and then ever so slowly reached out to grab the other rope. His arm that still clung ahold of the first rope trembled as it was all that was holding up himself and Evelyn. Finally he grabbed it and pulled it towards the two of them. Glancing down at Evelyn he smiled reassuringly.* Take the rope...don't worry I'm not gonna let you fall. *He said softly, offering her the second rope.* And besides if you do fall, I'll go after you. I won't let anything happen to you, at least not until you've went up against Emma in Tortuga. *He said with a grin, breifley glancing back up towards Emma. He was slowly starting to regret the fact that he had to get back on board again. Between dangling over the edge and the kiss Evelyn was deffinantly an unhappy person and he knew he'd be on the receiving end of it.*

Evelyn glanced up at Eric and grumbled a bit. "Lingered for a moment or two? Ye must really be daft, honestly..." Evelyn told him with half a laugh. "How dare ye say that? That kiss..." Eve trailed off and stopped herself. She found her tongue placed with a few words she had the greatest urge to utter. Among them that she enjoyed it, wished they didn't part...but she shook them away like a buzzing fly. "...Meant nothin'..." Evelyn told him in a slow, almost reluctant tone.
When he urged Emma, Rick, and Tobbs to hurry before he let go on purpose she groaned, "Urgh, ye'd love ta just let go, wouldn' ye?" She asked him lifting a brow. When he told her he'd go after her if she fell in her heart fluttered a bit, but as he added until she went up against Emma it grew icy once more. "Is that all I am then, bloody entertainment?" Evelyn asked furiously as her hand grasped the rope Eric passed to her.
Her hand held on tight, then she took a look up at him, afraid and wondering is she could trust him. Evelyn let go, her arm untightening around the waist and she grasped the rope, but it swung and she hit the side of the ship hard. Evelyn's face was contorted in pain for a few moments. From above she could hear voices.
"Evy, mate! Are ya alrigh' down there?" Emma asked over the side, craning over to peer down at them. She noticed as Evelyn hit the side of the ship and she cringed. "Ah, bloody 'ell Rick, hold the damned rope steady, would ya?" She asked him a bit angrily turning back to take a look at her friend over the side of the ship.
Rick groaned as he pulled on the rope and soon Emma assisted. He turned to Tobbs. "Good idea mate." He told her with a small nod. A bit of sweat was building upon his forehead as he held tightly onto the rope.
Emma moved in place in front of Rick and began to heave the rope upward, pulling Evelyn slowly back up to the ship and back on deck. Hearing a few angry grumbles Emma smirked, knowing she wouldn't be too happy when she came back aboard and hearing Eric's name mingled within the words she spat she expected he'd be on the recieving end of a bit of revenge. When Evelyn flopped onto the deck, gasping Emma lifted a brow.
Rick glared at Evelyn for a moment and took a step back from her. She looked like a beast, cornered, and ready to pounce on anything. Hearing her mutter Rick shook his head and gave a short almost nervous laugh. "Jus' don' go killin' the man jus' yet." Rick replied with a small laugh.
Evelyn was pulled upward, but she couldn't help but take a glance down at Eric, concern in her face. He was holding on as much as he could and she knew that wouldn't be for long. "Bastard Eric...thinks he can jus' kiss me when he likes..." she muttered then was pulled aboard. She flopped onto the deck and gasped, taking deep calming breaths, but she did not rest. Instead she took the end of the rope she had been given and tossed it down again at Eric. "Hurry up ye bloody idiot!" She called down to him. Evelyn was concerned for him to say the least, but she wasn't about to go all soft on him at the moment.
Eve couldn't let him know that she had enjoyed the kiss...not for the slightest moment. Even though, she truly would not have minded if it had gone on for longer. "If ye fall in I'm gonna have ta go after ye, an' I really don' want to go divin' in that...savvy?" Evelyn called out once more as he took hold of the rope.
Emma took a sideglance at Tobbs and gave her a slight grin. "These two are startin' ta sound more like Diana and Fishy everyday." Emma told her with a small wink. Her auburn hair blowing in the breeze that had picked up. She turned back to Rick and gave him a playful smirk.

Fishy woke up, with a start. He'd been dreaming. No, nightmaring, if there was such a thing. Bad dreams...tears, death, sea dreams. He woke up. But his fever had broken. At last.
He looked around the dim room, nobody appeared to be around. Lazily, he rolled out of the bed, taking time to place one foot infront of the other, and quietly made his way up to the deck, running his hand along the walls for balance. He had to shield his eyes from the light. "Hello?" he called, half dazed

:Callisto looked around at those who watched her closely. The fact that there were two gods on board frightened her a little, but she refused to show that fear. She wouldn't speak more than a few words, or reveal anything of herself to those she did not know. Callisto refused to answer any and all questions about who she was and from where she had come from. It was none of their business and it would do no harm not to tell them anyhow. She didn't want to get to know them yet and she didn't want them to get to know her at all. Looking at Jack she lowered her eyes to the ground and spoke in a soft whispery voice.:
Would it be of any inconvenience if you were to let me occupy an empty cabin?
:Looking up at him, she held his eyes with hers, awaiting his reply.:

:Jack just listened. At the mention of a spare cabin he noded at Callisto. he'd just realized something this.....girl......she had power. A bit to much but he could figure that out later......:
"Aye.....a room indeed...." Jack looked around at his crew, trying to decide who of the lot of them would be less treatening to Callisto. Finally he realized that he'd just put her in the room behind his own:
"come with me" He said and cast a glance at Will first then to the others: "Tortuga will be on the horizon in a few hours......young Mr. Turner is in charge until I return, is that clear?"
:that said, he took hold of one of Callisto's arms, and manuvered her away from the others, below deck, into a spare roo. It wasn't large but it had a lock on the door: "Here....this'll have to do for now....."

//occ- I'm very sorry I've been away. But I lost my internet hookup for some reason for a couple days. Not sure why yet. But all appears well now. I'm back//
Roux could feel hermes nearby, and he nodded just faintly in agreement. "I know brother. I know. She won't be harmed if Jack is looking after her. none of the crew will stand aganist him unless he's lost his mind. In which case they may not be able to tell the diffrence."
Then he frowned and looked at Linea, a half smile on his face. Fishy had come out on deck. He loked a bit, well unsteady? "I'm going to have a look at the young lad."
Roux was true to his word. He went to check if fishy was feeling better. Poor lad. "Young Fishy?" The named sounded a bit odd to the god. It seemed inappropriate for a young man to have such a name, but he wasn't about to question that just now. "Do you feel any better?" He asked carefully.
Diana was near. He glanced at her, wondering if the young lady and her clearly chosen man wished to be alone. He looked at the both of them a while then smiled.
"If you need me I'll be around. But do you feel any better?"
//ok. so I AM a idiot. It's been written in stone that I am a moron. Sorry Fishy and all the others. My comp screen was acting funny and for some reason I just didn't see that'd you'd gone on deck. So once more, VERY sorry!!//#nosmileys

*Eric raised a brow as Evelyn said the kiss didn't mean nothing and he grunted a bit and smirked.* Well I didn't intend for it to mean something *He said, wondering if she really felt that way. He couldn't help but hope that she didn't. Then he looked at her stunned as she asked him if all she was, was entertainment. He scrambled to find what to say for a moment.* I didn't know you wanted to be anything else. *He stated, in a slightly humerous, slightly confused tone. He had figured that was all he was to her so why should she care? Then she grasped the rope and pulled away from him, smacking the ship hard. He cringed as she hit as it looked rather painful.* You alright? *He called after her, not expecting more than a glare in return. He could hear her muttering and grumbling about him and the entire escapade as she was pulled over the edge. Eric quickly grabbed the rope as she tossed it back down to him and he slowly made his way up it. Much of the strength had gone from his arms and into holding him and Evelyn up, he wondered if he'd even make it to the railing. As she called down to him he grinned for a breif moment. Would she really come in the water after him? He wasn't going to test it to find out. Finally after another forced pull he was over the edge of the railing. He sprawled out upon the deck taking in a few winded breaths and then he sat up slowly, bent over with his arms folded across his knees.* Well that was certainly interesting. *He said bluntly, glancing over at Jack as he said they would be in Tortuga in a few hours. Eric rose slowly and grinned at Evelyn, Emma, and Rick.* You still up for that contest Evelyn? Im rather lookin forward to it. *He said.*
*Will watched as there was a bit of commotion occuring on the side of the ship by the railing. He cocked his head to the side for a moment and realized that was where Evelyn and Eric had previously been talking. So apparently they hadn't gone to a cabin, they'd gone overboard. He rushed over just as his friend and Evelyn were pulled back on deck. He wondered if he should even ask how that happened and finally decided against it. Instead he merely slapped Eric on the back and grinned.* Eric don't try to kill Jacks crew eh? It's gonna make me look worse than I already do. *He said with a laugh. Eric laughed back at him and shrugged then Will spun around as Jacks voice rose up. He was happy to hear that Tortuga was only a few hours away. He could use a bit of land for a while, even if it was Tortuga. After seeing it the first time he figured he would never have wanted to come back but it stirred up old memories that made him grin suddenly and he shook his head, glancing back at Jack. He still didn't have a clue how the two of them remained friends being as different as they were. But none the less he was glad they had.* Well it looks like Im in charge for now. *He said grinning at Eric as he walked back to the front of the ship.*

Evelyn helped Eric on board, seeing as he was a bit wearied and pulled him on the deck. He sat there for a bit and she was still pulsing with anger. She wanted to jump on him and begin to strangle him to death, but that wouldn't sit too well with her later on, she knew. So instead as he stood she did the only thing she knew would only last a while but would hurt. When he asked her if she was still up to the contest Evelyn growled and slapped him hard across the face.
"The contest?! O' course I'm still bloody well up for the contest! Only you won' be there, savvy? I can' believe ye had the nerve to do that to me down there...ye, ye just have no sor' of decency, do ye?" She asked him lifting a brow. "Yer not my bloody spotter anymore. If ye'll..." Evelyn glanced around and refrained from saying aloud that he'd kissed her. "...do that to me...then who knows what ye might do when I'm drunk! An' besides all ye really care 'bout is watchin' me get drunk! Yer done. I don' need a bloody spotter I can take care of myself. I don' need ye! I don' need ye arguin' with me, insultin' me, and I won' need ye there. I'll be perfectly fine...actually, I'll be better off without ye!" Evelyn told him flatly.
Her eyes glanced him over with a hard glare. Deep down she didn' mean half of the things she said, but she wasn't about to be nice to him now...after what he had done. She took in a few hard breaths, breathing out through her nostrils angrily, expecting to get yelled at as well, but she could take it.
((OOC: Roux...Fishy came up on deck. *pokes* Read a bit more carefully please mate. *grins*))

< Diana looked up when fishy sat up. Her first instincts being to jump at him and hug him. but she didn't she looked up as Roux entered and nodded at him: "I'll call for you if he's not feeling well."
<She focused worried eyes on Fishy and went over to him, and touched his cheek> "Fishy? Are you, alright?"
