< Dian had been nodding away on deck when fishy fell overboard. Then in jumped Rose. She watched with wide eyes as they both were brought aboard. Fishy was hurt and Rose was too!>
< Scared for them boh she followed what appeared to be half th crew as they were put in a cabin and cared for. She hovered around nervously. not ssure if she'd be of any use. but if any of them needed anything she'd go get in in a flash. Roux came in and she gave him a look of sympathy. She knew what if felt like to wantto help but have your hands tied. >
"Do you think they'll be alright?" She asked, looking at Fishy mostly. She didn't want to see him hurt. He hovered by him mostly, and waited, hoping she'd be able to help somehow. "Come on Fishy. Please open your eyes for me."

Orestes, being the perceptive young god he was, noted both the thanks and the wishing in Tobbs's eyes. He saw her blank up again quickly and smiled a bit. People had a way of dropping their guards around Hermes; he was perhaps, aside from Dionysus, Demeter and maybe Apollo, the most easygoing god on Olympus. He could feel Tobbs easing up the slightest bit and allowed an easy smile onto his face. You've got at least one friend aboard the Pearl, Miss Brighton...no matter what happens.
Orestes considered her question with a bit of a grin. "Well, it's kind of a long story as to how I got aboard...and I'm not sure how I'd get back. I'd find a way, though...us Greeks are quite resourceful people."
Then Roux and Linea arrived and asked what was going on. Had his brother not looked so concerned, Orestes would have been severely annoyed with him. Couldn't he see he was interrupting a project? But at his brother's tone, he frowned in anxiety. "I'm not sure...Rose got hurt, and the other lad...don't know his name..." He glanced after them, obviously concerned.
Hawk nodded after Evelyn, giving her a quiet "Thank you". He then watched Fishy anxiously, then looked up as Jack arrived. Biting his lip, he made a quick decision and turned to Roux. "...Watch 'im for a minute? Please? Try t'wake 'im? 'E needs warm clothing..." On his way out, Hawk turned to Diana and said, with a confidence he didn't quite feel, "'E'll be fine. Don' worry a bit, lass."
He continued out, running after Jack. "Sir? Cap'n Sparrow?" He stopped, unsure of quite what he wanted to say. "I, er...was goin' t'see Rose...an' I was wonderin'..." He gathered up his resolve and said quickly, "Evelyn doesn' strike me as th' type of person 'o's overly warm or affectionate...an' I was thinkin' Rose would like t'see you when she woke...you two're a lot alike, sir." He stopped, wondering if he'd gone too far, and looked up at Jack in concern and obvious embarrassment.

Roux nodded at Hawk and smiled at Diana. "I will watch them." He agreed and went over to Rose first. He touched her head lightly as if trying to figure out what was wrong. A single touch and he let loose a torrent of light into her.Invisible to mortals eyes but merely a rush of joy and happiness it caused. It could not heal. But it could ease away pain.
Then to Fishy. Diana seemed fond of this one, and he smiled. Then gently touched his head as well. The same rush of light the same joy. Laughter even. The wound remained but the pain of it slipped away. Roux's eyes were a blazing gold for a moment and he closed them to contain the light. Then he stepped away, watching the others in the room.
He knew Hermes was mere moments away from teasing him into a fury. So it may be best he stay here a while. He'd never hear the end of it. NEVER. Hermes could keep a joke running for centuries and never let you forget it. Inwardly he groaned but watched his new mortal charges. He dearly hoped they'd be alright.

* Maria headed up on deck but as she was heading up injured headed down. She glanced over them to see who it was then sighed and turned back to head up... The boat swayed back and forth in the rocking of the waves, as a mother would to her baby. She placed her hands upon her hips and studied the deck, seeing if she could lend a hand.
No one... She turned headed downstairs, passing the captain and she walked over to the doorway, where a crowd gathered around a few cots... Maria figured they had enough help and so she leaned against the doorframe. Her head turning, to look down the hallway then up to the deck. 'What to do' was the question in her mind, then the visions of her dream flashed back to her... The canons firing in her head... She held her head in her arms and lid down the wall to sit. Suddenly she wasn't feeling to well. She began to breath shallow breaths hoping it would help the nausia*

:It was dawn. Slightly chilly as the sun rose over the horizon, though such a pretty picture it made. The water was not as calm as it could be, but calm enough as a small boat drifted among the waves. It was small and had sort of a tattered look to it, like it had seen too many years. The occupant of the boat, could hardly be seen for they were covered in a heavy cloak against the chilly night air and still was fast asleep. Even the person's face was covered, so it was impossible to tell the gender.:
:As the sun rose higher in the sky, the person on the little boat, awakened. Although the temperature was getting warmer, they did not remove the cloak shielding them. As if not seeming to care about what was going on around them, the boat's occupant laid their head on their arms on the side of the boat and just watched the sun rise, with not a care in the world.:

Fishy stirred. His eyes lazily opened, the pupils rolling to one side. Faces, motion, lots of people. His head was throbbing, despite whatever whoever it was had done. His left eye was more hazed than his right, his vision tinged redish from the blood that had worked its way in.
He wanted to say something, but he couldn't think what. So he turned to one side and vomited sea water. And fell unconcious again.

Evelyn looked Rose over when a few people began to dribble in little by little. She sighed with relief. "Righ' then. Looks like she'll be alrigh', so I'll just be gettin' up on deck. If anyone needs, just go an' give a shout, savvy?" Eve said sternly and then headed out of the room.
Evelyn never liked seeing others hurt, needing help, and she wasn't the one to give it. The only person she's shown any sort of warmth to really was Eric so far, and that was barely a touch on the shoulder. Evelyn put a hand through her curls and headed away towards the decks. Evelyn's eyes scanned around and she noticed Emma, she had slept right on the decks of the Pearl and she shook her head slightly. She'd let her sleep for a bit.
Evelyn went to the edge of the ship and leaned her forearms upon it, looking out as the sun began to slowly rise above the horizon, bathing the caribbean sky in bright pinks and orange tints.

:Jack turned to Hawk, a sort of smile on his face. He considered what the lad hasd said and nodded: "I'l be in once I've set the ship on course, savvy?"
:He eyed th lad a moment longer: "Unless ye want to steer the Pearl a while."
:He nudged Hawk towards the helm, and nodded stepping aside a bit to let him take the wheel: "Tortuga is due here, west......just keep her on course while I go have a look at Rose then, savvy?"
:He smiled at Hawk, wanting to gauge the lad's reaction to this new responsibilty, when something caught his eye. A little boat with a singel occupant. He blinked. What in blazes was a little boat like that doing way out here?:
:He jumped to the railing and held onto a rope, leaning overboard: "HEY!" He called: "Anyone alive out there?!" He doubted it. Some poor soul that got tossed out to sea in a unfriendly tide. But they were days from land. Most likely they'd be hauling up a body not a person: "crew on deck!" He shouted, hoping whomever could be spared to come on deck would join him: "Man overboard!"

Hawk nodded, relieved that the man had reacted so calmly; then promptly stared at him in shock. "Me, sir? Steer th' famous Black Pearl? I-'d be 'onoured..." He slowly approached the helm, reverently placing his hands on the wheel.
He'd barely been steering when he heard the captain's yell. Making a face, Hawk wondered who it was that was "overboard"...another stowaway?...
Warmth, light, and a sense of ethereal joy flooded Rose. She wasn't cold any longer...and she didn't ache...she felt fine, rested, refreshed...and suddenly very tired...
She opened her eyes and looked at the man standing before her. And for a minute, she could've sworn she looked into the eyes of a god.
Then the exhaustion overtook her, and she slept again.
Orestes felt Jack Sparrow's wave of anxiety almost before he heard the man's yell. He cast Tobbs an apologetic glance and ran onto deck...standing next to the captain. "What happened? Where are they?" He looked down at the boat...
...and instantly knew. It was her. The one they'd all been looking for. She'd be there.
Orestes worked hard to keep the shock and stunned surprise off of his face. "What do you need, captain?" he asked Jack, trying to sound politely concerned.

Roux looked at Rose and smiled, knowing he'd help then worriedly watched Fishy. The lad would probably feel better once he'd slept.
Then he heard Jack's call. Sensed Hermes's wave of curiosity. Callisto. She was here. He frowned deeply and dearly hoped his brother would not leap overboard after her. He sighed and covered the two bedridden pirates with dry sheets.
"Sleep well." he whispered to them both and nodded at Diana. "Watch them please a moment. I have to see if I'm needed."
And he went on deck, peered overboard at the small figure. Hermes was at his side. He looked at his brother. "And so it begins."

*Maria threw the rope overboard, but whoever it was did not seem to respond.* " Don't they want to be saved?" *She asked, still feeding rope the tip sinking into the clear blue of the ocean*

Evelyn looked around frantically as Jack called out to them. Eve ran towards him and stood behind him, peering around him to see overboard. Something was floating idly in the waters, she squinted but could not make out the face. "Right!" Eve stated. Her eyes scanned the waters and she wasn't about to go diving in for anyone, especially someone who might prove to be dead, so she took a rope and wrapped it around her waist.
"Someone take the other end." Eve stated nodding towards the rope attached around her waist. "I'll repel off the ship, an' see if its worth savin'." Evelyn said calmly tying the rope about her waist.
Then without another moment's hesitation she lifted herself over the edge of the ship and slowly repelled downward, landing in the small boat which carried the being. Pulling the cloak away from the body she widened her eyes. It was a woman.

Maria held tight to the rope that held Evelyn* "Who is it?" *She shouted down the edge. She saw Evelyn pause* "Well?" *She shouted once more.. She glanced back at the crew* " Can someone 'elp?" * She was young and certainly not storng enough to haul a two people*

:Jack held onto the rope as Evelyn plunged over after the person. He glanced at Maria: "Well...if they're dead chances are they might not care now what happens to their body, savvy?"
:He grinned all the same. Why on earth did he think this would be a normal trip? Roux and Orestes were on deck now. He glanced at the pair of them. The both of them were odd. He sighed and held on, then nodded at Orestes.: "Make sure yer ready to go in after Evylen if something goes wrong. ye know how to swim right?"
:He called to Evelyn then: "Are they alive?"
