This will take place one year after the movie ends with Jack leaving Port Royal after his near hanging. Directly after the movie.....
Sometimes people should just keep their mouths shut. But well....Jack doesn't know what silence means....as Norrington has tried numerous times to impress upon the pirate......it's not working....a failed attempt at teaching a drunken pirate the rules of civility.....
But as luck or unluck would have it Jack got tangled in with some gods. Greek gods. Well....nothings changed...he still manages to annoy them...and make fun of their togas...I mean...wouldn't you? I know I would! This could get interesting.
While sailing out of Tortuga on the Black Pearl Jack and his crew come across a tiny boat. A greek craft...something that in itself is odd....and inside of it is a young lady. A beautiful lady. Jack, well...being Jack decides to take her aboard. The lady doesn't talk at first, but little by little they learn her name is Callisto, a greek girl from Athens.
And the gods want her. She has the power of foresight....the power to see into the future....and with that she can change fate. Some of gods are alright with this and accept that they aren't all powerful. Nor can Barbossa.....apparently he's alive.....(woot...as if that's new news right?)....and thinks by getting ahold of Callisto, he can gain a power only gods can contain. And with it destroy Jack. Namely Artemis and Athena as well as Dionyus and Apollo see the whole matter as what must happen.
But Poseidon, Ares, Juno and Aphrodite see this as a game and the prize is Callisto and her power.
Jack and his crew and friends just happen to become pons of sorts in the game. Sort of like wandering into the Trojan War without so much as a spear...but without a big horse.....instead it's just the Black Pearl and small army of pirates.....fun stuff? Hell yes.
With the Sun, Moon, Wisdom and Rum on their side you'd think they'd have a easy time of it. Especially with the Rum. But when fighting against the Sea, War, a Woman's Wrath and Love...and a vengeful Barbossa.....it's not so easy.
Jack and his crew realize the only way to solve the problem is to find the King of the Gods and get him to decide. But it's not a thing easily done. Mount Olympus is a hard place to access and Jack has no way of getting there.
Or does he? While some gods are hell bent on being on sides....some just want to play along. Not all of them can be trusted...but what choice do the crew and Jack have? Not much. and besides.....Jack is looking for a show down with the god of wine! Rules: 1. no spamming 2. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER 3. NO cursing!!!! 4. Common curtesy is a must 5. NO GODMODING (unless otherwise stated) 6. have fun maties note: maties..this be a loose story plot...some things can change..but it's not likely....enjoy.....

Hermes nodded, then grinned, extinguishing the glow. "You worry too much," he said airily, sitting down on the bed as if it were a throne and bouncing up and down a bit. He'd always loved the simple pleasures of a mortal life...Hermes was a god who found ways to enjoy himself, regardless of the circumstances.
He just grinned at Apollo's mention of ladies. "Don't worry, I have enough decency not to seek those already in love, and enough faith in my charms to secure any I want who aren't." He winked at Apollo again, then experienced a rare flash of seriousness at his next words.
Hermes idly toyed with the side of the sheet on the bed. "Well...like I said, Father likes Jack Sparrow. He always needs someone to keep an eye on his favourite mortals. And I'm curious...I want to meet both him and the lady that holds so much power."
Then Hermes grinned, back to his old self. "You are mad, brother. And that brings me to my third reason. I'm here to make sure you don't do anything stupid. Who else is crazy enough to keep you in check? And who better to send to guard a madman than a madman?"

Apollo rolled his eyes at his younger brother. So Father had found a new play toy among the mortals. Jack Sparrow was a interesting man. But he always pictured Dioneyus going after the ruum fond human, not Zeus. But then again, his Father was a curious man.
"Well, then you've nothing to fear, little brother. So far nobody has seen through my human form. You on the other hand have probably already stirred curiousity at your sudden apperance."
He smirked at Hermes, but in truth he was glad to have one of his family along. It had been a while since he'd seen any of them. "and I don't worry to much. With a litle brother like you, anyone would have reason to worry. In fact it's a wonder I've not joined Hades and the Underworld with how much worry you cause, immortal or not."
With that Apollo smiled and nodded up at the deck above. "I'll be up there. Settle in, young Hermes and join me when you're ready. And try not to sink this ship."
Apollo reached over, ruffled Hermes hair up, dodging a swift swat at his hand and left the room, laughing the whole time. Once there he settled himself near the stern and smiled intoteh sunlight. Things maight be getting interesting. #nosmileys#nosmileys

:Jack was a bit confused. It seemed he gained about six extra people on his ship. And from Port Royale no less. He would have expected as much from Tortuga. not from a "respectable" port like Port Royale. Hmm.....a lesson in people's personalities. perhaps many of them were closet pirates like Will was.
:Speaking of which..where was the eunuch anyway? He wandered the deck a moment or two, then watched Roux coming laughing ontothe deck. He wasn't to certain of Roux's cousin. The young man had seemed a bit too...what was the word....bright? as if he knew something the rest of the people here did not.
:He'd have to keep a eye on him. Either way, Jack went to the wheel and kept the ship on course:

*Will and Eric paused as a young girl, Maria held her arm out to stop them from going further. He stared at her for a moment and tipped his head to the side. Something about her seemed amazingly familiar and yet he was sure he had never seen her before as she was new on Jacks crew. He glanced around as she asked her question and his brow furrowed and he shrugged.* Im afraid Im the wrong person to ask. A lot of new people are around apparently. *He said, then spotted Jack at the wheel of the ship. He smiled down at Maria and started to leave when he paused for a moment. His mouth opened as if he was going to say something but then he just shook his head, smiled again, and hurried after the Captain.* Hey Jack. Did you go crew hunting? *He asked with a raised brow.*
*Eric followed Will and stopped as a young girl approached them. But when he saw Evelyn working on the deck rather alone he patted Maria on the shoulder and smiled, walking off quickly towards Evy. He stood by her and thrust his hands in his pockets as he glanced around.* Looks like your ship gained quite the crew. Seems about six new people you can irritate. *He grinned.* Want any help with that? *He asked, nodding his head towards what Evy was doing.*[/color]

<She laughed and then added seriously> "Besides, of you were'nt who you were now, I probably wouldn't love you so much."

:Linea stood watching the sky over the water for such a long time, it seemed as if all time had stopped. She had always been entranced by natural beauty, and this time was no exception. She did not even notice she was almost all alone on deck save for a few people. A familiar sight caught her eye as a pirate walked back on deck and went to rest by the stern. He was smiling it seemed, but at what, she did not know. Linea took her eyes off the wonderful sight before her and went to seek out her new friend. Approaching him, she cleared her throat a bit, just so she wouldn't startle him with her presence.:
Hello, I hope you don't mind if I gave you some company. It's so quiet up here, so..peaceful. Something I've rarely had in a while, something I truly love.
:She smiled at him while looking at the sky then realized that the speech she had carefully guarded for long years had vanished.:
Oh no what have I done? I need to fix this quick!
So 'ow 'ave ye been Roux?

Roux was only slightly startled, having been wandering in his own mind for a short time. His eyes flashed that brillant true gold a moment when he looked at Linea. and it vanished within the blinking of a mortal's eye.
he listened to her a while, smiling then gestured to the waning sun. For it was time for it to be setting. Late afternoon. "It is beautiful. Fire and water, the sun and sea meeting at once."
He caught her "slip" of speech, but only smiled. he had a past. clearly, she'd not been a pirate her whole life. but he let it slide. "I'm doing well. Hoping my cousin won't cause much trouble on the ship. He's a bit wild. I'm amazed he's not turned to piracy sooner."

:Linea watched Roux as he smiled, and hoped he did not noticed her slip-up. If he had, there would be more explanations than she didn't think he could handle in a lifetime. She looked at the sun as did he. What a picture it made.:
I hope I didn't startle ye too bad. It wasn't my intention.
:She looked at his eyes, and she could possibly drowned in their depths. So beautiful. Pulling her mind back to the conversation at hand, she just went over what he had said.:
Ye be a wee bit poetic yerself there eh? Aye, tis a beautiful sunset. Like gold melting into sapphires.
:Linea laughed as he spoke about his cousin.:
I am sure he be not all that bad. My cousin as well be around here somewhere, probably below decks, tryin' te keep 'er stomach. She doesn't travel too well. Don't know why she chose te be a pirate, but she said it was all about somethin' more; not about the voyage, or the treasure. It was about the friends, the goodtimes, an' sometimes the love that is found when ye least expect it.
:She smiled again.:
I'm sorry, didn't mean te go on like that there.

Hermes just grinned after his brother. The two were best friends, and playfully argued just like siblings should. For his part, Hermes thought Apollo worried too much...the few that had noticed something odd about him would loosen up once they started talking to him. Hermes was one of those people that you either couldn't stand, or loved instantly. Fortunately for him, there were much more of the latter.
There was a knock on his door, and he sat up. Quickly, he checked his eyes in the mirror to make sure they weren't glowing. "Come in..." he said cheerily, slipping into the identity of Orestes, and wondering at how quickly news traveled around this ship.
Rose had no idea why she was knocking on Orestes' door so soon after meeting him. She almost thought she wasn't coming here of her own free will...something had drawn her to him, more than her usual curiosity. She wanted to learn more about their unusual new stowaway.
When he said to come in, she did so, a bit more shyly than usual, and saluted.
Orestes' eyes widened in surprise. "Ah...Rose, is it?" He just barely stopped himself from calling her "Miss Sparrow" - she had to find out she was Jack's daughter on her own. "Sit down. What can I do for you?"
"Oh, nothing." Rose flushed slightly, feeling awkward. "I was just checkin' to make sure you were settled down all righ'..."
"And I am, thanks to magnificent accomodations on this ship." Orestes flashed a huge grin.
Rose nodded. "She's a beauty, ain't she?" She smiled faintly. "Is there anythin' y'need...Orestes? Food, a tour, anythin'?"
Orestes shook his head, still smiling. "I don't believe I'll need anything right now, thanks. I'll show myself around...and I'm not hungry...thank you for the offer." He gave her a grateful smile.
Rose nodded. "Good...'ope you enjoy your stay 'board th' Pearl, Orestes..." She left with that, going back in to her own cabin to think about this new, strange recruit.
Nice girl, that. She'd grow up to be exactly like her father. Hermes realized, grinning, that he wasn't sure if this was a good thing or a bad one.
Slowly, he got to his feet and went back on deck...it was time to begin his tour of the Pearl.

Roux laughed this time.
"you speak what your heart feels and you apoligize? Why? It's something many people wish they could do, but they hold back. You do so without worrying, but apoligize for that gift. Don't ever regreat what your heart speaks of."
But he smiled at the thought of Hermes on a ship. He wasn't sure if his brother had traveled on a ship before. "Wel, I doubt my cousin will become ill from traveling. but he might drive the rest of this crew insane. He tends to have that effect on people."
With that Roux glanced around the ship. "i've not traveled long with this crew. but they do seem close. almost a family of sorts. Which is remarkable in itself. Most pirates, well they don't really care about each other. just gold."
Roux turned a thoughtful eye on Linea. "is that why you joined us? To find a place to belong?"#nosmileys

:A small shadow fell over her eyes, but she pushed it away.:
I be sorry if I apologize so much. It's just my nature.
:Linea thought of how she could tell him about her past without it seeming odd. She dropped her pirate speech and began to speak:
Alright, I will be truthful with you. This is something not many know, just my cousin and a few others. I wasn't always a pirate, neither was Kora. She was indeed part of the royal family a long time ago, but was cast out because she was female. That is the only reason. Being her cousin, I was somewhat of royalty as well. Kora had many journeys, took on many names, occupations. I was still with my family during all this, until my brother was killed in the war, and my father was killed also in a fight. I raised myself after that, being left with absolutely nothing. Girls cannot inherit where I am from so I learned to be a thief.
:She sighed a bit.:
I guess the only good thing I can say is that I have no blood on my hands like my cousin, just memories. We are a family here, a good one, a strong one. It is something I have longed for for a long time too. I need a place to belong now because, you know what? Being a thief, getting treasure, is not all it's cracked up to be. There is no reward greater than the love of a family, and lots of treasure can't bring you that. This crew can though, and it is why I am here, and why Kora is also here.

Roux could just feel his cousin was about to start something. But he wasn't sure what. He just hoped it didn't involve anything perminatly damaging to the crew. Poor mortals. They had no idea. Was like a lamp to the slaughter. But Hermes was honorable god. Even if he was wild. He'd have to hope for the best.
Roux listened to Linea carefully. There were some things he could guess about her without having to prob to deeply. He was the sun god. He saw everything so to speak. or could sense everything. He keep his eyes on her a while.
"I am sorry for your misfortunes. maybe a lifetime with a crew who cares for each other will change the way you feel about life?"
He smiled gently, his eyes going briefly gold. He reached out, with his mind. A sort of soothing feeling came from him. Like being bathed in morning sunlight. it was his way of offering comfort. but he carefully hid any of his true self from her eyes. Hermes, being a god would be the only one able to tell what he was doing.
He was in fact, tryingto reach inside her and give her some feeling of happiness. Joy even. And he let the feeling linger with her a few minutes, before he withdrew.: "I certainly wish you the best." He added. : "for you and your cousin."#nosmileys

:Linea smiled a bit after she spoke her tale.:
I told you, it wasn't the nicest life to have to live, but it is mine. Being with this crew even for so short of time, has gone a long way in easing my pain. Especially being able to speak about it with you. Thank you for having a listening ear. You must be blessed with the gods with such a wonderful heart you know that?
:She felt as if a great weight were lifted from her shoulders as some happiness filtered through her heart. It had been a long time since she had felt this way. She didn't know what had caused it, but she would have to accept it was the will of the Gods that she be happy. It was time to put her past behind her once and for all, and look to the future with an open mind. Suddenly she did something she would never do, but did it as an expression of gratitude. Linea took his hand in both of hers and spoke:
If only I knew the words with which to thank you for your kindness. Just for listening and taking the time to get to know me, like no one else. I guess I won't be able to repay you, but thank you very much. I am sure my cousin and I will be fine, afterall, we are basically among family here.
:Remembering herself, she blushed and dropped his hand, realizing what she had just done.:
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to..to..
:Linea remained speechless for there were no words that she could say.:

Fishy looked up, nearly astonished, Diana's words still ringing in his ears. he set his books down, and gave her a huge, long hug, laughing and beaming. "I think i love ye, Diana." was all he could manage. He released her, and gazed into her sparkling eyes. "Naw..i know i do."
