*Michael let out a sigh of relief when land was called, keeping his eyes glued on Barbossa to hear his judgement call. He would give his life so Selina could stay if he must; after all, this was his doing anyways, and he hated to see her suffer. Loathed it really.*
*Letting Barbossa's last words with Selina not travel to his ears as he gazed off at the shore, he nudged Selina slightly and gave her a concerned look.*
"Are you alright...? Did the bilge rats harm you? I'll kill 'em if they did....don't doubt I won't throw them from this very ship..."
*He grunted but kept his solemn look. He practically never became angry really. But it was bad, meaning REALLY bad, when he was. Not a good place to be when he was letting loose.*
"I'm sorry I couldn't get to you sooner. Bastards got you before I even stood up..."
*He blamed himself for this all and he sighed disappointedly. When he heard another woman's voice trail through the air, addressing Selina, he heard the sarcasm in it and relaxed his muscles, turning his attention to her.*
"Can't wait to get ashore, can you?"
*He had sensed her thoughts and gave a faint smile at Tasha, glancing at the land in curiosity...and suspicion.*
"I'm Michael....don't think we've got a chance to be aquainted."
*A familiar cry pierced thrugh the air, and Michael instinctively rose his hand in the air diagnally. Cruentus flew down and landed on his arm, which he drew back towards his side, the hawk's eyes dodging about at every face.*
"You ready to leave too?"
*He spoke to the bird, but turned his head and addressed the question to Selina too.*

Avery rolled out of his bunk with an ease only gained by experience. He hadn't changed his clothes before collapsing onto his pillow, he had been too exhausted. The red head had been on watch all night long, through the storm and everything. He had been up and down the rigging far too many times. Taking sails in and trying to keep from falling overboard into the boiling sea.
Now, when the sea was quiet, there were sounds of shouting from the rest of the crew and he was afraid that a mutiny was going on. It seemed that if it wasn't the ocean that was against Avery's gaining of sleep, it was the crew.
Grabbing his daggers, pistol, and sword he stumbled out of the cabin and made his way up the ladder onto deck. Blury blue eyes sharpened when noticed the crew had one of their own, a woman named Selina, and were putting her fate into the Captain's hands. However, before the Captain could speak, land was spotted.
Avery sighed in relief, not really wanting to know what would have happened if the call had not gone up. The men were distracted now. He was too awake now, there was no way that he would be getting anymore sleep any time soon. Making his way to the side of the ship, he leaned against the grigging his eyes watching the land as it slowly drew closer.
He wasn't excited about the gold. In fact he didn't care about it at all. He was only here because it fed him and kept him out of the rain. Once his sister had run away, there had been no need for him to stay in Port Royal. He had jumped the next ship out and landed in Tortuga where he joined this very crew. In his mind anything was better than being a starving theif living in the gutters.
He sighed thinking of how he should have done this sooner, but as always his mind drifted to his bright eyed sister. If he had left her far worse things would have happened to her than what did.

Selina sighed heavily as the Captain turned away and then turned to Tasha, not wanting to say a word. She was disappointed in herself really. Selina had allowed her lust take her over and that wasn't fair to the crew in a sense. As her green eyes look to Michael she sighed heavily. When he asked if the crew had hurt her she huffed a bit and buttoned up her shirt properly, using Michael as a bit of shield while she did so, not wanting to catch any sort of attention. "No, I do not think so..." She said, her heavy Spanish accent dripping over her words.
When he mentioned tossing the men overboard if they had touched her she smirked only slightly. "You know, I am perfectly fine on my own, Michael." Selina said as she reached a hand to his shoulder and let it slide down, caressing his arm. Looking him over though, she simply couldn't resist. Michael was an awesome presence of a man, and he was incredibly handsome. Yet...there was something else that lured her in...perhaps his concern for her?
Selina looked to the island that neared, her dark hair wafting in the winds. When a bird landed on Michael's arm, she lifted a brow at it and smirked. "Ready as I will ever be I suppose...I only hope YOU can keep up." She told him with a wink and placing an arm about his waist while resting her head on his shoulder a bit. She bit her swollen lips and looked up at him. "Michael...perhaps last night...we should have waited...or..." Then she shooked her head and looked away. For Selina, for ONCE in her life, she had felt that they had moved a bit too fast for her. It was odd. It was as if she loathed that she had been torn from his side so early afterwards.
What they had the night before was magical really, passion like NO other she had ever had...even...perhaps....with Damien...

*Eric laughed as she nudged him and he gazed up above at the thick canopy, watching the sky grow ever brighter through the occassional openings in the lush leaves and branches.* Of course I do. *He stated simply, still watching the sky as she mentioned her stubborness. He rolled over on his side, proping himself up on one elbow as he rolled his eyes at her.* Are you insulting my brillance? Because I consider myself a genious....I just have yet to show that gift to the world. *He winked.
He gazed at her a moment as she fell asleep upon his chest and he drew his arms about her lightly before dozing off himself. He didn't realize how tired he was until he had to get up only an hour later. Feeling Evelyn stirring in his arms he awoke and sat up, blinking sleepily as he watched her clean and fix her bandage.
He grabbed her hand and rose to his feet, following her back towards the camp. The walk there woke him up some but he still regretted staying up so late the night before. He eyed Evelyns flask of rum and then turned his gaze upon her and he grinned, nudging her a little.* Mind if I have a bit? *He asked, motioning towards her flask. As they arrived back to the camp he had gathered the few things he left behind there, scooping up his small water bottle as well as extra shots and a sharpening rock. * I hope that city of Gold is out there somewhere. We didn't nearly become two dishes for nothing! *He laughed, nudging her. But even if it wasn't out there the trip would be worth it, at least for him.*

*Michael gave a sigh of relief when she stated she hadn't been hurt. He'd have to check her over for sure just in case, as he had memorized every inch of her last night, and deemed himself knowledgeable to notice the slightest bruise or cut she would've gained in the scurry.*
"I do know. But with almost all the crew out to get you, I can't help but worry. You make things seemingly difficult to be care free when any sort of man is around, whether he's in his right senses or not."
*He grinned slightly when she second guessed if he'd be able to keep up. Being a bit playful now, was she?*
"Me? Keep up? I wouldn't worry about slacking on my part. I hold my weight I'd say, wouldn't you agree? I full well know you do at least."
*Giving a sly curve in his smile, he let his chin rest upon the top of her head, placing his arms around her at first. When she looked up and spoke to him, he let his hand drift up to her face, resting it upon her silky cheek and gazing in her eyes until she looked away.*
"I admit...we did move quickly...I was spurred by the moment I presume...but if you wish it, next time another moment comes, which I have no doubt it will, I'll resist as much as I can. All up to you; but last night....I wouldn't have traded it for anything this world has to offer."
*He wasnt just filling her up with charming words that caressed her heart, but he was really being quite honest. He let his fingers curve around ehr chin and slowly drew her face to meet his again, bringing his own down low and but an inch or two away from hers.*
"The minute you walked from the shadows and spoke, I said I could wait. I say so now; What you wish can be granted; it's up to you my Mysterious One."

*Will yawned and blinked his eyes open as he heard Elizabeth calling to him to wake up. He smiled warmly at her as she knealt down beside him and grabbed her hand, lifting himself to his feet. He dusted off the seat of his pants and adjusted his shirt, stretching and yawning again.
He glanced over his shoulder in the direction they had come from the cannibal village and he gave a simple shrug.* If they do come back I imagine they'll be leaving Jack off the menu this time. *He said with a grin, looking back at her. He laughed at the comment about his good friend and Evelyn and nodded. Those two deffinantly offered some interesting entertainment. He grabbed Elizabeths hand and kissed it as he grinned once more.* Jack and Tobbs'll offer some good entertainment too. *He grunted, heading off back to the other camp with her.
As they got there he released Elizabeths hand and sat down on a log as he waited for the others to gather their things. He and Elizabeth had left most of their things on the Ship and what they had brought they'd brought with them to the village considering they'd fled the Ship quickly to get to their friends. He glanced up at his wife and smiled.* I'm glad we traveled light. Now we get to just sit here for a while and do nothing. *He laughed, winking at her.*

::Jack was smirking to himself as he overheard Will:: "Yeah well...don't forget when we went after Elizabeth there, eunuch." He said just loudly enough for Will to catch it::
::He smiled and looked around the area as they walked....and the map....looking up and down the path, then the trees.....The first thing he saw on the map was something that looked like a dragon...which for all intents and purposes....couldn't be right...::
::Jack had seen some fantastic things in his life and sometimes he'd been a part of them...but he marked dragons off as being fake.....I mean..someone would have seen a live one by now right? He frowned and continued through the forest, following no partically path...but guessing where they'd be headed off too::

(OOC - Guess what everyone..? I GOT MY COMPUTER BACK! Finally, after nearly a month of waiting, I'll be able to post again! *Squees happily* I see I've missed quite a bit though.... *Pokes Selina and Michael and grins* Also, to Tasha and Avery, welcome aboard, me maties!! Glad to finally have some more crew members!! ~end transmission ~) "LAND HO!" ::The call rang out over the deck of the Blood's Call, announcing that the long journey was at last over. Barbossa and his crew had made it to the Americas... the next stop would be El Dorado, the legendary city of gold itself::
::Turning back to Selina, he sighed - more with relief than anything else. He hadn't WANTED to punish her, but if it had been the only way to appease his crew....:: "Looks like yer saved THIS time, Carassas." ::He leaned in a bit closer and gave her a "concerned father" look:: "Don' let it 'appen again. This crew ain' as forgivin' as me...." ::With a final nod, he returned to his cabin to prepare for landfall::
~~~~
::The Captain slipped his favorite silver pistol into his belt and looked around the room. He had his compass, his weapons, his maps....:: "That be everythin', then," ::he said aloud, blowing out the candle on his desk. He turned and stepped out onto the deck::
::All around him, the other crew members were doing their parts to get ready to go on shore. The ship had already been anchored down, and the longboats were being loaded and set into the water. Barbossa walked over to the railing and surveyed the land before them::
::Beautiful white sand covered the long expanse of beach, which ran back into the thick jungles beyond. Shrill squalls and woots of exotic birds and monkeys filled the otherwise calm air. This truly was paradise::
::And it would be all his::
Tasha smiled at Micheal and stuck out her hand. Tasha Antipova at your service. How long have you been with 'bossa? I haven't seen you around. Tasha looked questionly at him. She wasn't sure if he was to be trusted. Tasha shrugged it off and looked over at Selina she seemed ncie, she wasn't sure if she could be trusted either. Tasha had hoped she could find someone she could trust on this voyage, but you can never be sure with pirates.
Evelyn kept her speaking to a minimal really and when she turned to see Eric she smirked a bit slightly. "Rum? Since when did YOU fancy me private stash Eric, luv?" Evelyn asked with a small chuckle as she reached into her rather tattered and torn sash and handed Eric her small flask but pulled back, a small mischivious grin on her face. "Er...maybe not..." Evelyn teased as she made to put it back. "Don' wanna go gettin' any o' yer...erm...'conditions'." She teased.
In the end she handed it to him lifting a brow as he drank it down a bit and couldn't help but smile. It was a bit odd really so see him this way really. In a way, Eve was happy...seing he was almost beginning to slip into this strange way of life. She had to admit he was looking the part and he was built for it really. He had bulked up considerably since the last time they had been together so he would be able to physically handle more. He also seemed to be taking SLIGHTLY a few more risks this time around.
Yet, at the same time, her honey eyes passed him over and were almost sad. Deep down, she knew this life would contaminate him. Eric was such a wonderful person really, with a certain light within him that really was the hope in their relationship. Evelyn didn't see what HE saw in HER really. There was not much she could offer, but she shook this out of her mind. Evelyn tended to overthink things at times...and she PRAYED that this time she was...
Eric's comments on hoping to see the City of Gold made Evelyn smirked a bit. "We would never have HAD ta bloody worry 'bout THAT if a certain someone didn' toss me in pirahna infested waters." She laughed as she gathered up only a couple things from camp, her small daggers she placed in hooks inside her boots, and then joined Eric's side again. They made their way through the jungles, with Evelyn carefully taking in where they were goin', having to shout a "Tha's er...LEFT Jack!" Every now and again.
Evelyn had the map all engraved in her head and made double sure they were on the right path. Still, as they walked she couldn't help but feel slightly uneasy. They had already been through a few things but she couldn't help but sense there was more ahead. She doubted they would simply be able to FIND their way to the damned City, or else people would have found it already.
Looking ahead, she furrowed her brows. It seemed like there was something ahead. Evelyn quickened her pace, moving away from Eric in the line and moving towards Jack, walking in step with him. "Listen Jack, I think we should take things rather slow, alright mate? I mean ye never know WHAT lies ahead, because I mean, we CAN' be the only ones ta have tried. There mus' be a reason fer no one reachin' it before..." Evelyn said in almost a hushed voice that was full of an ominous tone.
Evelyn ran a hand through her brown curls and looked ahead, narrowing her eyes, then with a pat upon Jack's shoulder she fell back JUST behind the Captain to walk alongside Eric again. The man had followed her ahead. "I see yer bloody followin' me again..." she teased nudging him in the side and giving a smile. Then her tone changed a bit. "Keep yer eyes peeled, savvy Eric? I don' wanna go losin' ye JUST yet, an' besides, I need someone there ta save me should things go TOO Wrong fer me." She said with a small laugh and jumped again at the screech of a monkey.
Her boots splashed through a small stream and the crew kept on. The jungles seemed to only get denser, the air becoming thicker and closer together and Evelyn didn't like it. She had always had a problem with being in small enclosed spaces. She had never told Eric this, but it was part of the reason she couldn't fetch her boot that one time she had fought within nigh a year earlier. It all stemmed from the Devil's Wrath really...there was so much more to say about the matter...but it could be buried...
All that mattered now was that Eric stayed, and with this thought Eve found herself slipping her hand onto Eric's arm, grasping it for comfort. She still wasn't sure how much time they had left, and she wouldn't waste it, that was for damned sure.
His life began to pass before his eyes. He saw images of himself as a boy in England. He saw himself on voyages as a pirate, and as a smith in his shop. He couldn't help but laugh and cry at the quick passing of his life. He suddenly went blank and felt a searing pain once more. Well he wasn't dead. That was good he thought. He had lost a lot of blood. His eyes opened and he looked around. He looked at the vast number of trees. He looked down at the ground. He was lying in a large pool of blood...his blood. He looked around again. Something was odd. ' THEY LEFT ME!' he thought to himself. He was suddenly filled with a deep burning anger. This was a deep deep treachory. He was feeling quite weak. He didn't know how but he managed to pull the stick that had impailed him from his side and dress the wound. He must have passed out again for when he woke again it was dawn. He got to his feet. He stummbled and looked around for something to eat. He found some fruit of some sort and ate it. That made him feel a little better. The pain is his side was bordering on unbearable. He looked at the ground to see if he could figure out which way they had all gone. He still couldn't believe they had left him there to die. Was it something he did or didn't do? He didn't know what the reasoning could be. He drew his sword and began to walk in the direction he figured they went. He may never catch up to them in his condition. For all he knew he would die of infection or something in a matter of a few days. The anger within him began to grow. He didn't know what he would do if he found them again. He knew now that they could not be trusted and that they were NOT dependable people, at least by his experience. He had a feeling from the very beggining that he wasn't too wanted. His mind flooded with so much anger that he began to hack down a tree to realease some of his anger. In all his life he had never felt so much anger. The death of his father and brother was the most pain he'd ever felt, but he wasn't angry about it.
"Those bloody bastards! They left me in the middle of this damned place to die....to die alone!"
He finished hacking the tree and continued on his way. He tried to hold back his pain and keep going but after a time he collapsed and slept the rest of the day out.
Selina looked to Michael as he commented on her knowing he can hold weight and she smiled slyly, her ruby slips giving a smirk and a glint in her green eyes. "I dunno...DID you really?" Selina asked him as she made to toy with his confidence a bit. If it was something that bothered a man, it was toying with his confidence in his manhood. Her many years in her rather strange profession had allowed her to find a man's soft spot here and there. That was definately one of them.
Selina's eyes looked at Michael's with a small glint really and she smiled slightly. His words were gentle, and surprisingly enough quite sincere. She blushed only slightly and shook her head. She had been used to honeyed words, phrases coated in candy, but these were actually meant and that was odd for her. So she simply gave in and nodded. "If you say so, Michael." She told him with a smirk. She leaned in slightly and their lips met, their kiss was heated and passionate, but soon she pulled away, wary of the eyes of the crew.
"Right, so off to the shores I suppose." Selina told him as she made to her cabin to grab a few of her essentials before heading off the the shores.
Rhys did not move while the crew readied themselves and began to leave. She did not even notice. Her eyes were trained on the shiny red knife clutched in her hands. She watched as fresh blood made a pattern over the blade, sliding slowly across the medal to mix with the blood of several people. It made a morbid, but beautiful picture.
The young theif felt the need to get rid of the tool that had helped her in her path of destruction. She struggled to her feet, and dove into the forrest at a slow pace. Her eyes wandered around her searching for any place she could leave the knife where it would never be found again. She wanted to destroy it, to destroy any evidence that she had ever commited such horrible crimes. She wanted it gone.
This was how she stumbled upon Mark. She emerged from the jungle like a ghost; pale and with dead eyes.
He was collapsed on the ground, his face in the dirt. Suddenly, forgetting the knife, Rhys was alive again. She had a purpose. Dropping the knife, Rhys ran to Mark's side. She didn't know his name, but she recognized him as one of the crew. One of the crew that should not have been left behind. She fell to her knees next to him. Shaking his shoulders lightly, she tried to wake him up, "Come on, wake up for me! Please?" She still had the red flower Jack had given her grasped in her hand, but she needed him awake.
Mark was felt someone shakeing him. He quickly, or at least as quick as he could in his condition, drew his sword and pointed it at the person. It didn't appear to be one of the cannibals... in fact it was one of the crew, who he had no idea, for he hadn't really made an effort to get to know too many of them, nor them he. He heard the voice telling him to awaken. He stood up slowly. He opened his mouth to speak but he could say nothing. He had lost more blood. He needed his wound stiched or something, but he had not the tools for this. He tried to speak again.
"Wh....who are you? W....why was I left behind?"
He said slowly and with anger. He wasn't completely aware of himself. He was lightheaded and tired.... oh so tired. He leaned against a tree and looked up at the sky.
*Eric smirked and shrugged a little, still eyeing Evelyns precious flask of rum.* Since I met back up with you, threw a man overboard, got into a fight with cannibals, and got attacked by pirahanas. *He stated in a matter of fact tone. His smile grew as she held out the flask and he raised a brow as she pulled it back. He laughed and crossed his arms.
As she held it out to him again he snatched it, putting it up to his lips.* If I had any 'conditions' you'd of gotten them a long time ago. *He grunted, drinking some of it down. He wiped off his mouth and handed it back to her, eyeing her curiously as he noticed her eyes were sad for a moment. Inwardly he frowned at this, wondering what was on her mind, figuring it had something to do with him.
He hoped she wasn't doubting their future because in all honesty he couldn't picture his without her. He still wasn't sure how he would fit into the pirate life but just being around Evelyn made him want to try and find a way. And even if he never really did fit in it didn't matter because he felt they balanced eachother. But then again what if he couldn't conform to piracy and she got tired of it? He shook this thought away quickly.
However as she spoke again and smiled he did as well, laughing a little and shrugging.* I didn't see you in such a rush to get out of the water so I dont think I should be the only one at fault. *He stated and grunted, still picturing the way she had scrambled out and onto the shore as the damn buggars came and attacked them. As they took off again he kept close by her side, glancing around now and again as if he half expected to see rabid monkeys or cannibals coming at them again.
As Evelyn moved up ahead of him he lingered a moment but decided to follow her. As she fell back again he rolled his eyes at her comment but said nothing. He nudged her back and laughed as she jumped at the monkey screech.* Yeah well I'm not to eager to loose you either, especially too something as stupid as a snake. And besides if you died who would flatter me with names like idiot or bastard? *He grinned, eyeing her.
She grabbed his arm and his smile grew as he moved her hand into his own, forcing his way through the forest. He had overheard what she said earlier, about taking it slow as not to risk running into traps on their way to the city. With every cautious step he took he wondered if it would send him hurtling into a pit of pungi sticks or flying into the air with an ankle bound by vines.* Evelyn, don't stray to far from me. I'm getting bad feelings about this place. *He said, feeling chills go up his spine.*
