This will take place one year after the movie ends with Jack leaving Port Royal after his near hanging. Directly after the movie.....
Sometimes people should just keep their mouths shut. But well....Jack doesn't know what silence means....as Norrington has tried numerous times to impress upon the pirate......it's not working....a failed attempt at teaching a drunken pirate the rules of civility.....
Barbosa heard many things from Jack before the mutiny. One being about a treasure. A ancient Greek treasure. A Box of Immortality. It's what keeps the Greek gods.....well......gods....While sailing out of Tortuga on the Black Pearl Jack and his crew come across a tiny boat.
A greek craft...something that in itself is odd....and inside of it is a young lady. A beautiful lady. Jack, well...being Jack decides to take her aboard. The lady doesn't talk at first, but little by little they learn her name is Callisto, a greek girl from Athens.
She knows the location of this Box. Jack, being a pirate, not a damn hero wants the Box for himself. He doesn't realize that taking it can offset th balance of things in a unfavorable manner.......nor does Barbossa...who's after it as well. Two gods decide to "help". Apollo and Hermes......the rest, well they do not think they need the help of "mere mortals" to overcome something so ridiclous as this.
But Jack wants to live forever....so does Barbossa and the obession is to great to be reasoned with. Driving his crew into danger, Jack's ready to risk life and limb for the posibility of becoming a god himself. That and shot at being renamed the God of Rum.
Rules:
1. no spamming 2. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER 3. NO cursing!!!! 4. Common curtesy is a must 5. NO GODMODING (unless otherwise stated) 6. have fun maties note: maties..this be a loose story plot...some things can change..but it's not likely....enjoy.....
<Tobbsie Edit: Wanted to say Chubbie wubs to Emma for being back, and Jack: we all get rl takes us away sometimes, don't worry at all, try havin' fun in New York!> #nosmileys

Roux stared at Rose a long while, glad his brother was chosing to not tease for the time being. He looked at the sleeping girl a while, then bent over her.
Carefully he got as close as he would dare, and stared at her closed eyes. Then exhaled, a breath of warm air passing over her face. He could heal her easily enough. being god of medicine had it's advantages. but at what cost? Showing himself?
No. He could not betray himself just yet. Not to Rose. Instead he straightened up and touched her forehead, his eyes now glowing brightly. if Rose would feel anything it was the sensation of being clothed, bathed and drenched in spring sunlight. Then, happiness, a comforting feeling.
It was probably just shock, pure and simple. The cold needed to be driven from her body. For all but a few seconds, a blinking of a eye, Roses body was engulfed in light, then it was gone. Roux backed away from her and looked at Orestes.
"She will wake on her own." He said simply, looking at the girl. Mortals were such fragile beings. He turned and made to leave. "i think we have arrived. Come."

*Eric laughed and shook his head at Evelyn.* I won't leave you behind, I'll at least put you back on the ship. *He said and watched as one by one the two women began to down the rum as if they hadn't had something to drink in years. He raised a brow and sat back in his seat, watching with quite an amused look upon his face. He smiled and gave her a nod as she said it was going good. Then his eyes strayed to Emma and to be honest he grew slightly nervous. She was deffinantly holding her drink very well. As Evelyn called his name and reached her hand out he frowned a moment but gave her hand a quick tap to let her know he was still there.* Im still here don't fret. *He said, crossing his arms. He scooted closer to her as she began to sway a bit in her chair and he knew it wasn't going to be much longer.* Evelyn are you sure you wan't to keep going, you're not looking to good. *He said to her but as she looked at him it was obvious she hadn't understood a single word that had come out of his mouth. Then she drunkenly told him how handsom he was and he couldn't help but laugh.* Uh no you haven't and after this I doubt you will again. *He said with a chuckle then she began to frisk him, demanding a knife. He grabbed her hands and held them tightly shaking his head.* Listen Evelyn you are not cutting off your hair. *He said and then laughed as he lowered his head for a moment and released her hand. She was certainly an interesting person when she was drunk. It wasn't going to be too much longer before he was going to have to get her back to the ship and he was beginning to figure he'd have to hand over a guinea pretty soon.*

*Tobbs almost had half the mind to step back, a bit intimidated by Jack's snarl, but didn't show it. The mockery in the air around her grew and she felt rather victorious on this fight. She got him back, and she knew it.*
*Walking proudly to the side of the ship, she saw Tortuga approaching, and she didn't take her eyes off it. She'd been there before several times, but then, there were memories with past visited placed, so that was always a downfall.*
*When they got to Tortuga, she muttered about leaving the ship in the hands of no one, and Callisto below. She felt something was going to happen, and she knew Roux and Orestes were involved somehow....they'd make sure nothing happened, she thought.*
*Passing Jack with a smirk and a 'look who won this time' glance, she made her wayto her cabin to get ready. Undressing, she lay the clothes that were Jack's that she'd 'borrowed' on the dresser neatly and put on her clean and sewn up outfit her friend had made in Singapore, for she'd washed it and sewn it up. She let her down, its long and flowing golden color gleaming as she made her way into the sun that was setting on the horizon.*
*She glanced over at Will as he stood on deck and went over next to him, first not wanting to catch his attention since she felt a bit guilty for stealing something of his, but then she wouldn't admit straight forward she was sorry.*
"Turner....isn't it?"
*She paused and looked up at him as he turned his focus to hers, a rather apologetic look in her eyes.*
"Abou' the other day....and that weapon ya made..."
*She sighed and then searched his eyes, seeing an understanding in them. She didn't have to say sorry, he knew she was already. She shifted her feet rather uncomfortably and smiled at him.*
"Ya can' stay on deck the entire day, make sure ya get off sooner or later, savvy?"
*Bowing her head as a goodbye, she waltzed off onto the streets of Tortuga, heading for the pub that Evy and Emma were at. She had to kick and hit a few people on the way, mainly men, but she finally made it to the pub.*
*Her eyes searching the room, she glanced over and saw Evy and Eric and Emma and Rick. The two women had already started on their fourth, and she raised a brow rather worriedly as she looked at Evy after she'd approached quietly. Whispering to Eric, she said rather simply, even though she knew he would-*
"Take care o' 'er, mate, don' let 'er outta yer sight...bad things 'appen when one's drunk, don' wan' that 'appenin' to 'er."
*Sighing and showing concern for the ladies, she nudged Rick too, then left the pub. Too many memories, all of them dark. She walked towards the ship. She didn't like the night, and Callisto was alone, maming her even more suspicious.*
*Quietly, she snuck up on the Pearl and went towards the room Callisto would be staying in...and there she waited secretly, in all honesty even to Orestes and Roux, her presence not really dedected, perhaps by them a tad bit as they were called gods, but not enough to prevent anything from being said because she was near. Perhaps they thought she was in the next room? Whether they did or didn't, she waited.*

Evelyn grabbed the fifth and by now she was really tipsy. She stared at Emma from across her. "Gettin' tipsy mate?" Evelyn asked in a slur and lifting a brow curiously. Her hand went to the handle of the mug and she watched as Emma downed it but swayed. This made Evelyn grin somewhat triumphantly. As long as the after effects of the competition lingered she was alright. Although at the moment Eve wasn't doubting herself.
Evelyn did something a bit rash, just to get her out of the drone of the same routine, grab the rum, down it somehow, slam it on the table. She stood up, with some difficulty and nodded. "Righ'..." She said with a grin as she took the mug to her lips and downed it quickly. The room was spinning, for a moment she thought she saw something like Tobbsl, but shook her head and in a moment she was gone.
She swayed and nearly fell over, but grabbed onto the edge of the table, or at least that's what she thought kept her standing. Emma downed it just as quickly and she was barely in as bad shape as Evy.
She stared at her for a moment and then blinked. "Yer no' normal Em....ye know tha'..." Evelyn said pointing a finger in her face before she keeled over suddenly and fell to the ground. Crumpling on the floor. Evelyn stared around and all she could see were feet shuffling about. The cries of the gathering crowd were loud and rung loudly in her ears. "Argh!" Evelyn began to say as she attempted to stand up. She placed her hands upon the table top. Then she struggled pulling the table her way a bit and stood up.
" 'M not done! We can still go!" Evelyn pleaded as she grabbed Emma's rum. She began to drink that as well, but it was over, she knew it. Money was being exchanged and she hit her head on the table. She let her head rest there. "I los'..." was the only mumbled message that could be heard.

*Will was leaning on the railing of the ship, watching as the crew poured into the city. He figured he'd linger just a moment longer before he went in himself. He had to prepare himself a bit. Then he glanced over as Tobbs approached him and he gave her a cautious look, standing up straight as she adressed him.* Call me Will. *He said simply. After he had married Elizabeth numerous people began to call him Mr. Turner and after growing up being known simply as Will he grew used to it. He didn't like a proper addressing anyways, it seemed strange. As she brought up the other day in the shop he gave her a simple smile and a nod to show he was over it. The past was the past. He laughed and grunted as she said he couldn't stay on the ship all day. He watched her go then he sighed and glanced around.* I suppose she's right. *He said and strolled out into the streets. It hadnt changed much from a year ago. He wandered into the familiar tavern where Jack and Gibbs had plotted against him and he grinned shaking his head as he took a seat at the bar.*
*Eric glanced up at Tobbs as she spoke to him and he raised a brow, and nodded.* I'll keep an eye on her. *He said with a laugh. She was going to be quite a handful if she didn't pass out first. He jumped up quickly as Evelyn rose from the chair and he held his arms out, ready to catch her as he figured her falling over was inevitable. As she fell to the ground he dropped down to his knees to pull her up but she managed to stand up again with the help of the table and he shook his head as he watched her. Well she had just lost, and Eric cringed slightly. He wasn't even sure if he actually had as much as he had just bet. He reached in his pockets and found all the coins that he possibly could and with a sigh he plopped them down in front of Rick.* You deffinantly earned that mate! *He exclaimed, slapping the man on the shoulder. He turned and grinned at Emma when suddenly he heard a bang come from behind him. Spinning around he saw Evelyn with her head plopped against the table. He hurried over to her and helped stand her up, throwing her arm around his shoulder as he held her waist to help support her.* You didn't loose you just...didn't win. *He said grinning at her. Then he nodded his head towards the pub door.* Come on mate, lets get you back to the ship before you kill anyone. *He said with a wink. Then suddenly he spotted Will walk in. He laughed, still unable to picture his friend in a place like this.* Give me one moment, don't go anywhere. *He said to Evelyn then trotted off towards Will.* Hey mate, didn't expect to see you in here! *He exclaimed, standing beside Will as his friend sat on a stool at the bar.*

Eve groaned as Eric spoke to her. “Yeah, well tha’ jus’ means I LOST!” Evelyn told him loudly in a slur. Her eyes were lazy and she looked around as Eric helped her walk towards the pub door. She stared at him for a moment. “Wha’ are ye doin’? Ah! Ye like me don’ ye?” Evelyn asked him lifting a brow and looking at him closely. Suddenly Evelyn turned and she was no longer supported.
Evelyn suddenly stood in the midst of her wallowing, pulled away from Eric, and turned around. “I can’ believe I lost!” She said loudly turning abruptly and then toppling over again. This time Evelyn crashed into a table, knocking over the table and disrupting the card game five men were in the middle of. In rage they stood and began to yell at her angrily. Evelyn struggled to stand up in her drunken stupor, bumping into a beam nearby and she started to yell. “Jus’ be ‘appy I didn’t knock all of ye over!” She called and waved her hand trying to wave away their insults. She was angry already and their insults were digging in. “Ye bloody bastards! Shut yer yap! Don’ force me to take out my blade…” Evelyn said in a slur.
One of the sturdier men looked her over in and approached her. The man was monstrous, with large arms, a bald head, and strange tattooing all on his face. “Yer a stout hearted lass, I’ll give ya that.” He said with a hearty chuckle as he crossed his arms across his broad chest. “But that won’t do ya any good.” He grunted looking down at her. The man was very easily looming over her, taller even then Eric. “Really? Why don’ ye hit me an’ find out?” Evelyn asked him lifting a brow. The man looked down at her, looked back at his men and laughed. “This little shrimp of a woman has asked me to strike her!” he said turning his dark face back to hers. Then slowly he lifted his arm. “Maybe this will teach you a lesson…and I’ll need you to clean up this mess too.” He told her with a deep baritone voice.

*Eric reached out and smacked Will on the back when suddenly Evelyns familar but very slurred voice rose up above all the others in the pub. He groaned and his shoulders slumped as he turned around. He saw her surrounded by a group of men and she was taunting the largest of them all. Eric looked the guy over nervously, he was huge! And that thought didn't often cross Erics mind as he was rather tall himself standing at almost 6 feet tall with his own fair build. Suddenly the man lifted his arm and Eric cringed.* Gotta go mate! *Eric hollared back to Will as he took off across the pub. He grabbed hold of the mans arm and he felt his heart speed up a bit. He promised Evelyn no more violence but as long as he wasn't the one who started anything he didn't see anything wrong with finishing it. And besides he was her spotter, she'd kill him if he let the man attack her. Or at least she'd kill him if this man didn't first.* You don't want to be doing that mate. *He said sternly to the large man.*

The man stared Eric down. He laughed at him. "Haha...is this your woman?" The large man shook his head. "I only wanted someone to clean up this mess..." he pointed at the cards and things upon the floor. "If you can pick it all up for us, I assure you, no trouble will be started." The man said with a gleaming white smile, which was odd because most had yellowed and rotten teeth.
Evelyn groaned, staring Eric and the man down and headed out into the darkened streets of Tortuga. Only a few were still in the streets, most had sought refuge in the Inns, pubs, or the brothel. Merrymaking could be heard form all sides and she stumbled as she made her way back to the Pearl. The world was spinning. She walked quickly and then began to stumble, she was going to fall on her face and she reached out trying to grab hold of anything that would stop her from falling. Her hand latched on to something, a shoulder, she thought. The person she grabbed hold of grunted. “Get off me!” the voice called. Evelyn was pushed away and turned back to look the person. “ ‘Ey! No need ta push…” She slurred. “Was only breakin’ my fall.” Just then the voice spoke up again and looked at her. The man suddenly cleared his throat and walked off. Evelyn stood there watching his face curiously and blinked, just then he turned. That scar...she knew that scar anywhere. LUIS!
“LUIS!” Evelyn called after him and she raced after him. He hadn’t recognized her, she thought. She reached her hand out to grasp his shoulder. “Luis! It’s Evelyn! Evelyn Pearl!” she called out as she turned him around. Luis stared her down. “Don’t touch me!” he cried smacking her hand away from him. “Luis? I thought….” “Do not say a word!” Suddenly Evelyn grew angry beyond belief. Her jaw clenched and she balled up her fists. “You BASTARD! Why didn’ ye come back for me?” Evelyn asked him in rage. “Why Would I?” he told her angrily and then began to walk off. Evelyn pondered these words briefly, her drunken mind taking up the last words and putting them together slowly. “Luis…don’ ye walk away from me.” If he had intentionally left her there she would kill him with her bare hands. She had endured more than anything bearable for him and now he was shunning her? HE was disrespecting HER?
She pulled him around again. “I was whipped for YOU!” Evelyn cried angrily waving her arms around wildly and stumbling a bit. “I DON’T CARE!” he cried. Eve stared at him and then suddenly without warning punched him straight between the eyes. Luis recoiled and cried out a curse word. “Ye bloody wench!” he yelled and then hit her back, smacking her across the face with a deft smack that could be heard for miles Evelyn assumed. Evelyn fell to the ground and looked up at him from it. He spat at her. Eve growled and stood up. “Why didn’ ye come back?” she asked angrily, preparing to strike him dead when he answered her. “WHY WOULD I?” “Didn’ ye love me? Remember Luis…ye said…” she began to whimper now. The emotion was too great. “I did.” He told her plainly crossing his arms across his chest. “And…?” Evelyn asked looking to the ground and then back at him. This smack hurt more than any other because it came from the one she never ever believed it would come from. Luis had been her hope, her angel, her only love…and now here he was, spitting words at her like if she were some bloody common thief! “ I heard what you were on the ship, Evleyn. I heard you were used! How could I possibly marry anyone like that? Filth! Complete filth! Not only that, you never told me about it, you hid it. You only wanted a way out and saw me as it…besides…I later learned it was not love I felt. I found love now, you were simply a bit of satisfaction for this lonely seaman.” “But…” “Do you know who I am? Do you know the kind of name I have? I am a son of a Count!” he told her proudly. Evelyn looked at him. “Then what the bloody hell are you doing here in Tortuga?” Evelyn asked him in a low growl. “I am here on a mission. The Spanish Navy has plans for this godforsaken island and I am helping them in that account, we’ll be ridding the Caribbean of this filth.” He looked her over. He laughed and shook his head.
“Look at you, your just like the rest. Drunk! Cursing! Your shirt…” he pointed at the loosed shirt that had been soaked a bit. “…hanging off of your shoulder. You’re a complete mess. I could never marry someone like you, could never help someone this…disgusting. Your filth, Evelyn.” He spat. “I can’t believe I never saw it before, but I was blinded then. Blinded by the simple fact that I could be satisfied.” Luis told her with an evil sneer. He turned to walk away from her again. Evelyn stood there for a moment but then rage built in her once more. She stopped him for the third time. “But I risked my life to save you! The least you could have done was come back for me…” She told him, her words slurred but still understandable. He looked her over with an evil grin. “And I thank you, if not for you I would have never been freed from that whole damned ship…including YOU.” He told her sternly. Evelyn growled and screamed, then hurtled herself at him forgetting completely of her weapons, her drunken mind not able to recall her wit, and instead she tried to fight back primitively. She swung lazily and he dodged, then he balled up his fist and easily hit Evelyn across the face once more with a hard punch.
Evelyn fell to the ground hard, her head knocking into the cement. Luis placed a hand through his dark long tresses, looked at her, and spat. “You wench! You poor man’s Maria!” he called at her. Recently Luis had fallen under the spell of the daughter of a Countesse’s daughter named Maria and at current they were betrothed. “You were not worth all those kisses, you were not worth any of my time aboard even that godforsaken ship! Used more often than the rum was passed…was what I heard. But I suppose you served your purpose.” He told her as Evelyn groaned and tried to stand. “Ye bastard.” She hissed at him trying to stand. “I had no choice! They took my bloody honor!” She cried. “Really? Either way it did not matter…you’re still filth. A Count’s son could never mix with a poor, bastard, English, wench!” he told her in a low and angry tone.
Evelyn took a deep breath and attempted to stand but fell, the punch had made her dizzy and it added to the disorientation she felt already. He spat at her again. “Never come near me again.” He told her. It was the last thing Evelyn heard, for then she fell into a darkness, feeling a small trickle of blood oozing from the corner of her lips as she hit the cold, dark, cobblestone.

*Eric stared at the man for a moment then slowly released his wrist and nodded, glancing over at Evelyn. He grabbed her arms and led her over to a bench that sat just outside the pub door. He sat down beside her for a moment and looked her firmly in the eyes.* It'll only take me a few minuets to clean that up alright, please stay put this time! *He said then quickly kissed her cheek and hurried off, before she could smack him. Since she was drunk who knew how she would take his advances. He trotted back inside and with a slight glare at the large man he began to help them clean up the table, placing the cards and money back exactly as they were when Evelyn tipped it over.* I can't replace your drinks...I don't have any money but this should do. *He said, dusting his hands off on his pants as his eyes scanned the men who took their seats back around the table.* Why dont you join us mate? Get your money back. *The large man said. Eric grunted as he glanced over his shoulder at Rick.* Nah i've learned my lesson. *He stated. Then with a yawn he walked out of the pub and he frowned. Evelyn was no where to be seen. He began to run along the street, glancing around and calling her name when suddenly he saw a man standing ahead and there was the form of a woman upon the ground. His brow furrowed and then his heart skipped a beat. He knew it was Evelyn, something just told him that it was. He ran as fast as his legs would take him and he dropped to his knees beside her. He propped her up in his arms and his eyes scanned over her face for a long moment. He saw the blood and could tell she had been slapped.* Evelyn? Are you alright? Please talk to me. *He said as his heart sank. She didn't speak. He held her to his chest for a moment, burying his face atop her head and he felt as if he had failed her. He hadn't watched over her and protected her like he told her he would. Slowly his eyes glanced up to the man who was walking away and Eric glarred.* HEY YOU! *He cried, gently laying Evelyn back down. He sprang up and rushed towards the man, shoving him firmly as the man turned around. Luis stumbled backwards and he scowled.* What in the hell do you want? *He asked, stepping up to Eric though he was slightly smaller than the man. Eric stared down at him as they stood but a few inches apart.* No one will ever treat her like that and get away with it as long as I'm around. *Eric said between clenched teeth. Then he reached out quickly and punched Luis on the side of the jaw. Luis' head jerked to the side but his angry gaze went quickly back to Eric and he punched him once in the face and again in his side. Eric let out a groan and he coward down as the blow hit him in the side. It felt like he had just been hit with a hammar. Whoever this guy was he deffinantly knew how to fight. As Eric was still bend over he let out an angry growl and charged towards the man, plowing into his waist. The two tumbled to the ground with Eric on top and he punched the man again, once, twice, a third time in the face. He grinned as Luis' hand went to his nose, which was seemingly now broken.* You bastard, what do you give a care about the wench for? *Luis hissed, punching Eric hard enough to knock him off him. Eric laid there for a moment and checked his nose as blood trickled out of it. He sprang up as did Luis and the two circled about one another for a long moment.* Because I... she means everything to me. *Eric said, wondering why this man even cared in the first place. Luis grunted, running his fingers through his dark hair.* You must fancy used property then. *He smirked. This angered Eric beyond belief.* Go to 'ell *He cried and lashed out at Luis. Luis grabbed him suddenly and managed to throw Eric to the side. Eric crashed against the ground hard, skidding across it for a moment. He rolled over and groaned in pain. His side felt like it was on fire and his shirt was stained with a dark liquid. He looked up slowly and Luis was standing over him.* You get with her and thats where you'll be going. *He said and kicked Eric in his wounded side. Eric cried out and then his jaw clenched and he reached out, kicking Luis right in the knee. The mans leg buckled and he went down with a cry. Eric staggered to his feet and he knelt down, wrapping his hands about the mans throat.* I dont care where I go as long as she's there and you're not. *He growled. Luis struggled a bit and then he went limp. Eric wasn't sure if he was dead but he wasn't going to waste time figuring it out. He hurried back over to Evelyn and he slowly lifted her up, glancing about himself. He couldn't go back to the ship. If the crew saw her like this it would damage her pride and he didn't want that for her. He spotted an Inn up ahead and with a sigh he limped towards it. His eyes wandered around and he sighed in relief as the Inn keeper was busy. He snuck off down a close hall and slipped into an open room. He laid her gently upon the bed and wet a rag in the basin, running it over her face and hair. Then he bent over and kissed her forehead.* Im sorry Evelyn. *He said softly, sitting beside her. He took off her boots and pulled the covers up to her waist. His side throbbed and he lifted his shirt slowly. The rocks had torn the skin up a bit but it was nothing he couldn't handle. And the blood made it look worse then it was. He wiped his nose with his sleeve and then gently ran his fingers through Evelyns hair. The corner of his mouth rose slowly then he quickly frowned and sighed. He slumped down upon the floor, weary and sore as he rested his back against the side of the bed. He tried to stay awake for as long as he could but finally without meaning to his eyes closed and his head drooped.*

<Well, final exam season is upon us...alas, I've got until Thursday, then I'm free...so 'til then, this'll probably be my last post. Cheers mates!>
Orestes looked from Rose to Roux. "It's always rough, after a healing...I'll stay with her," he said in a tone that made it plain that it wasn't the only reason he wanted to stay. "Go, enjoy yourself. And be careful," he added, ironically; his brother was wise enough to stay out of scrapes...

:Jack merely grumbled out something and made his way into the strets of Tortuga. He blended into the mad atmospere in an instant, looking around, ready for pretty much anything. :
:Tobbs was beginning to become a pain...women......he'd never have them completly understood........he waked by a tavern or two....then by chance picked the same one most of his crew had chosen. here he wasn't Captain...this was their time to be what they wanted. And so Jack...in a odd display of neutrality, kept his distance..and watched them silently instead.....:
:Rum soon came in a tankard and Jack drank a few swallows, but not before glancing around to be sure all was well in the nearby area around him......:
:a few bar fights broke out, Jack watched them with some measure of amusement.....ducked as a glass bottle came flyin his way.....shouted a few words at the offending thrower and went back to drinking....:
:Time passed slowly....and Jack took to talking to the bar tender.....about everything and nothing at all.....listening all the while..making sure his crew was still unharmed....and were taking care of themselves.....:

"Go, enjoy yourself. And be careful." Roux rolled his eyes, wondering how many times he'd said that to Hermes in the many centuries of their lives.
But Roux merely nodded at Orestes. Then turned one more glance to Rose. He honestly hoped she'd wake soon. Tortuga was the sight that greeted him when he walked on board.
Somehow, he had a bad feeling about this. Something was wrong. But Roux sighed, pulled a jacket that fell past his knees on, and went in search of Linea. He found her still on deck, staring at the small town riddled with taverns, brothels. The sound of pistols, and breaking glass reaching their ears. "A charming little place isn't it?" He said with a laugh and looked over at her. "Would you like to come with me into teh sky? Or stay here. Either one is tempting."
Sudenly Roux found himself worrying about the ship. Jack hadn't left anyone on watch, offically, and he wondered if he should stay aboard. Then again, his brother was there. If anyone could drive away a intruder, it was Hermes. Either by un ending teasing or fear itself, he could handle things.
He also noted a few other members of the crew had not left yet. He wondered if they'd stay aboard. Probably not, land was a tempting thing. even Tobbs, whom he felt lurking someplace on the ship, would probably abandon her post and come into town. He turned to Linea again, a smile on his face.
"Well, would you like to explore the charm of this lovely town, known as Tortuga? I'll come with you,if you'd like me too. Or race over the sky? Mind you we might only be at Tortuga once. you might want to take advantage of it."

< Diana gave Fishy a doubtful look, as if questioning his ability to think correctly, but followed him up to the crow's nest anyway>
<He liked being up high. She could see everything from up here. It really was a nice veiw. Tortuga was coming into sight. first just a small smug on the horizon, then a sparkling little town. She smiled and looked at fishy as Jack put the ship into a docking area>
"Have you ever been to Tortuga?" <She asked Fishy suddenly> "I've only been here a few times." <She glanced at the town wistfully, hearing the chaos that was Typical Tortuga. She'd gotten a few memories from here. Really crazy.>
<She could see most of the crew, including Jack, getting off the ship. Well, she wasn't sure if she wanted to go just yet. Instead, Diana looked at Fishy> "Are you going ashore?"

:Jack yawned and stared around th tavern in a sort of amused way. Well....it as going to be slow night. No fights had come his way. He wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing to be honest. :
;He stoo,d plunked down two shillings for his drinks and left absently casting one last glance at his crew still there. he hoped Will would have enough sense to stay with them for now and stay out of harms way if possible.:
:Jack began a sort of absent walk, heading off for nowhere really. He ducked a man who was being tossed through the air. He watched the poor man land on a barrel, and smash it to splinters. He titled his head curiously, wondering where the thrower was.....then kept walking.:
a few guns went off, a sword fight came his way. Somehow Jack found himself involved in it...... And he honestly wasn't sure which side he was on. Grumbleing furiously, he fought his way out of it, kicked the man nearest to him in the back....... A not to friendly way of letting the man know he'd gotten in Jack's way and he was none to happy about it:
:Muttering and cursing, he continued his walk, heading towards the outskirts of the small town:#nosmileys
