As Eric laughed lightly as she parted from him she blushed a bit. He knew what had crossed her mind but she shrugged. When he eyed the room and spoke Evelyn shook her head. "No this is bad. Ye think I migh' have spruced the place up a bit." She said brushing back a few curls. When he bowed low and spoke again Evelyn shook her head. "I said we shouldn' be so bloody violent anymore, I never said we'd go an' turn all proper..." she laughed. "Even if I tried I know tha' whole concept would crash an' burn." She told him as she left the room.
They headed out of the Inn and found the streets busy. Immediately Evelyn searched herself before they began their walk around. "Careful mate, the thicker the crowd, the easier i' tis fer someone ta steal somethin' from ye." Evelyn told him as she stared around. "How 'bout we just head over to the pub then? Sunset's already takin' place an' I wouldn' want to miss bein' there for the challenge." Evelyn told Eric with a wink.
They headed away, Evelyn sought out the familiar pub among the broken buildings and the litter. Just then, a blind man came her way and eyed her curiously, "Would ye have anythin' ta give a poor old soul miss?" The man asked her through yellowed teeth. Evelyn, for a moment, wanted to shove the man out of her way, but held back. "Ge' out of my way." She grunted passing him by. He continued to follow, a tin can in his hand. Then the old man paused and blinked, then shouted at her "Ye black hearted beast!" he called out at her and she blocked his words.
Words like that normally would bring her to act, but she held back once more. Instead she grit her teeth and turned to look at Eric. "I think makin' that bloody vow ta be less violent was ill timed, mate." She said with a small laugh. " I think even a priest wouldn' be able ta hold back from strikin' someone 'ere." She said with a laugh as they maneuvered their way through the crowd, getting lost from Eric for a moment or two.

Fishy turned to Diana with a curious look. "'Did something'? What do you mean?" he looked to her fingers, and smiled. "Well then, i see four." and grinned. The ship was slowly rocking back and forth, and Fishy surveyed the deck, letting his eyes fall over his friends. He turned back to Diana. "I'm gona go up to the crows nest 'gain. Yer welcome t' join me, but only if ye like. Nothing else seems t' be goin on..." and he left, and started to climb.

*Eric grinned and nodded as Evelyn laid down the rules of a thicker crowd. Every now and then his hands would stray to his pockets and so far nothing had yet gone missing. When she suggested they head over to the pub he glanced towards the sunset and a smile formed across his face. He nodded, looking back at her.* Sounds like a plan. I don't want you to miss the competition either. Im looking forward to seeing how you are drunk off your arse. *He said returning the wink. Eric raised a brow at the blind man who came over, begging for something from Evelyn and he tipped his head slightly confused as she shoved past the man. Apparently there were a lot of beggars in Tortuga and he was figuring it was best not to give into them. He walked past the old man when suddenly he called out to Evelyn and Eric glarred and spun around. But as he caught sight of Evelyn out of the corner of his eye he took a deep breath and held back his temptation to knock the man off his feet, blind or not. Eric laughed as he went and stood over by her.* It couldn't have been more ill timed. *He said agreeing with her. As they walked on the crowd only grew thicker and more rambuncious. His eyes shot from side to side as Evelyn dissapeared from his sight.* Evelyn? Gah people move, get out of my way. Move! *He cried, shoving through them all. Unable to find her he figured she was still heading towards the pub and his best chance was to head there as well. Finally he broke free from the crowd and ran his hands through his hair and fixed his shirt. As his hands went down to his pockets he noticed almost all his coins were gone as well as his pistol.* Ah bloody 'ell *He growled then gritted his teeth and hurried into the pub, leaning against the wall beside the doorway to wait for Evelyn.*
*Maria wandered the streets with a large smile upon her face as she glanced all about her. There was nothing quite like this place she thought to herself. She took a deep breath and then spotted the pub.* A lit'l bit o heaven! *She said happily to herself, rushing towards it. She forced her way through the large crowd and burst through the doors of the pub. She tipped her head to Eric as she spotted him near the doorway and then headed over to the bar. She took a seat upon a stool and hit her fist upon the counter. Those about her stared at her with a raised brow and amused grins, wondering why such a young lass was in the pub.* Don' go gettin' the wrong idea. I jus' wan' some coffee. *She stated.*

Evelyn weaved her way through the crowd and turned around and saw Eric was no longer there. She had indeed lost him. Evelyn had gone astray for a moment, she had spied someone that held a very familiar face and she could not resist but follow. "Luis?" Evelyn asked lifting a brow. Could it have been a mere ghost? She had made her way towards a clearing and shook her head. She gazed around for a moment, spinning around, but saw nothing.
Her honey eyes turned a bit sad. Could it have been her long lost love? Here? She slapped herself gently. "Snap ou' of it mate." She told herself calmly. She couldn't help but wish it was him. Evelyn turned around to look for Eric. Perhaps he had gone to the pub, that is if he was smart...and this she pondered a bit with a laugh, but shrugged knowing he most likely had.
A few whistles came Evelyn's way but she paid them no mind, as long as none dared touch her it barely bothered her. The carousing would soon begin, this island had always been somewhat of a nocturnal beast, only truly coming out in the veil of the night. Placing a few curls in place she found her way to the pub and opened the door. She stepped inside and jumped a bit seeing Eric right next to the doorway. "Eric mate! There ye are." Evelyn said briskly, wondering if he would ask where she had gone.

*Eric stood up from the wall as Evelyn walked in and he smiled, then frowned noticing that something was slightly different about her. He stared at her for a moment then glanced out the door, his eyes scanning the crowd though he wasn't sure what he was looking for. Finally he shrugged and nodded towards an open table.* Better get it before someone beats us to it! *He exclaimed, hurrying over to it. He sat down in the seat and rested his feet upon the chair across the table from him and he glanced at Evelyn.* Lost you there for a moment, where'd you wander off to? *He asked, checking his pockets again. It was starting to become some what of a habbit doing that and he doubted it would stop until he had left Tortuga. He glanced around the pub for a long while trying to spot Emma or Rick but so far he hadn't spotted them yet so he took the liberty of getting himself a drink. He put his fingers in his mouth, whistling at at a man as he hurried by with a tray.* Can I get a bit of Whiskey? *He asked. The man nodded and rushed off, returning moments later with a small glass filled to the brim. He carefully handed it to Eric and Eric grinned and held it up to Evelyn then with one quick tip of the shot glass it was gone and he slammed the cup on the table.* Well it's almost time, you anxious?

Evelyn smiled as he headed off to the table and then caught up. She sat next to him, placing her head upon her hand as she stared around the crowded pub. When he asked where she had gone Evelyn jumped slightly, attempting to find something to say, "Oh...somthing caught my eyes 's all. Guess I got drawn ta it, nothin' really." Evelyn told him with a soft smile and clearing her throat a bit. She watched as Eric downed his whiskey and she took a deep breath as he asked her if she was anxious.
"Anxious? Not really. 'Sides, this time 'm not goin' down that easily. Emma's goin' ta have ta really muster herself up fer this one!" Evelyn told him slamming her hand down upon the table. "If I can beat her at this, it'll tone tha' woman down a bit. I'd be doin' all of us a favor really." Evelyn told him with a smug smile. Her eyes passed around and a few looks went their way. Perhaps word had gotten around at their trouble making, but she doubted it really mattered who they had killed.
"Jus' make sure yer there when I hit the ground, savvy? An' keep me away from these blokes." Evelyn nodded over to a table with men playing cards. "Wouldn' want ta start too much trouble, although..." Evelyn began toughtfully. " I haven' really gotten in a good brawl fer while." Evelyn told Eric with a wink and a soft nudge. She leaned back in her chair awaiting Emma's arrival. They'd give quite a show and she could only guess how rowdy the pub might get, placing bets on them and whatnot.

(I'm baaaack....) (Comes charging towards Emma and attackles her muchly. Welcome back mate! -Will)
Emma had always liked Tortuga. For the past few years, she had liked it a bit less...of course, everything had been less pleasant then, with the memories it brought back of Rick and of her old crew...of losing them all...
But her mind wasn't even vaguely on all of that.Tortuga was like a heaven to Emma. She was having the time of her life getting involved in random fights and giving Rick a heart attack.Punching a complete stanger in the jaw and sending him flying into an alley wall, she wrapped an arm around Rick's waist, snuggling her head into his shoulder. She must have gotten an inch or two taller since they had parted, but he seemed just as tall to her.The wenches of Tortuga had long ago known not to come near Rick, but it had been three years...many young women approached them as they walked through the rowdy streets.
She could see why,of course...At nineteen,Rick was in the prime of life.He was tall, strong without looking like a brute, his long, shaggy black hair leant him a roguish appearance that was matched by the sparkle in his bright green eyes.Emma could hardly blame the other girls.
Hardly.
Within an hour of their arrival,it seemed that the ladies of Tortuga had miraculously begun to remember all they'd forgotten about Emma and her reputation in the last three years.
Rick smiled to himself softly. They'd been in Tortuga for two hours, and already Emma had gotten into and out of eight separate tavern brawls and street fights. She had scared him half to death more times than he could count....But then, that was what made her so special to him.It was what made her different from so many other women-who had quickly learned to stay away at the very least when Emma was near. She was so full of fire...so unpredictable...She had that crazy sort of joi de vivre that made one want to live as much as they could with the knowledge that they could get killed at any time.
"Y'aven' 'ad anythin' t'drink,Emma,"he commented in an offhand way, watching a pickpocket work from across the street.
"Jus' savin' meself, love,"she replied."Speakin' of which....sunset...we'd better 'urry, don' wanna be late...
They reached the inn as the sun was setting.Emma swaggered in,all confidence."What's all this about tonin' me down,Miss Evelyn?"she called out, pulling a chair from the table and spinning it around to straddle it with her arms dangling lazily from the back.Candlelight glinted in her bluegreen eyes, and her crazy smirk plastered itself to her face."Y'ready?"She asked.
Rick watched them with a smile, nodding to Eric.He called over the bartender, then winked at the inhabitants of the pub."'S gonna be a good one, lads, anyone care t'take bets?I've got a bag of guineas on the redhead!"

*Eric laughed heartily as Evelyn went on about beating Emma. It was obviously very important to her that she did. He waved to the bar tender and got himself another shot of whiskey and then he nodded and grinned.* I can't promise you i'll catch ya before you hit the ground but I'll deffinantly pick you up off of it. *He said with a confirming nod. His eyes strayed towards the men playing cards over at the next table and then he looked back at Evelyn and raised an amused brow.* This is going to be bloody great. *He said, growing excited for the arrival of Emma and Rick. Then finally he spotted them and he gave a nod to Rick as the man sat down with Emma at the table. He grinned as the young man placed a bet and Eric placed his feet back on the ground and leaned over on the table, glancing over at Evelyn.* I'll take you up on that bet Rick. Put me down for the brunette. I'll bet as much as you did. *He said, nodding his head towards Evelyn as he winked at her. Whoever won he knew it wasn't going to be by much. Then he sat back in his chair with his hands behind his head and a most amused look upon his face. He nudged Evelyns foot with his own.* Dont go making me loose all my money now. *He grinned.*

Evelyn looked to Eric as he bet as much as Rick did and swallowed hard. The stakes were laid out, Eric would be betting his own pocket money and Evelyn glared at Emma. "Yer on mate." Evelyn told her with a nod. She turned to Eric. " 's long as ye don' leave me behind Eric, that's all that matters." She told him with a wink. Then with that there was a bit of an uproar as a few gathered around. "Rum, bartender! An' keep it comin' mate!" Evelyn called out as she stood up and then sat back down.
"Don' go easy on me Em...bring it on mate." Evelyn told her with a smile. Then the mugs were brought, both filled to the top. With the Eve grabbed the handle to the first and drank heavily. The first went down easily but left a sort of shock. Emma had finished it quickly as well and she grabbed hold of the second. The second came down fast and Eve shook her head a bit. Evelyn's eyes went to Eric for a moment. "Goin' good." Eve said with a smile as more was brought to her.
Although she wasn't fine. Evelyns head began to spin and she narrowed her eyes. "Eric?" Evelyn said reaching her hand out to make certain he was there. Another mug was brought and she took it in her hand. Emma glared at her briefly and gave her a wink before downing it. Evelyn could tell instantly that it was getting to Emma too, even if just a bit. Shouts came at Evelyn to do the same and she lifted the mug to her lips. It went down in large chugs, spilling over a bit, but she finished it all the same. Her world spun but she held onto the table. She really didn't wan to lose this, but the pounding headache she was now getting was getting furious.
Evelyn looked to Emma...there were two of her now. Eve wiped away the leftover traces of rum and shook her head. Her head was pounding and she swayed just a bit. More rum was placed in front of her and she went on her fourth. This one was much more difficult to get down. She didn't even pay attention to Emma much now, she just wanted to get through the drink. She placed the mug to her lips and drank a gulp or two then stopped. She placed the mug down watching Emma struggle with the drink a bit as well.
Now everyone was doubled. She turned to Eric and it sounded like he was saying something but she wasn't sure what. Her eyes were looking at him lazily and she gave him a lazy grin. "Eric...mate...di' I ever tell ye...ye look pre'y 'andso..." *hiccup* "...handsom..." Her word were slurred and she placed a hand on his cheek which slid away. There was a shout for her to go on and she turned back around. The fourth was sitting there still. Evelyn stared at it for a moment and peered inside the mug. She was acting quite strange, the drunkeness really taking her over now and settling in. "My rum's half empty!" Evelyn called. Then she turned back to her mug.
She put her hand to the handle and drank heavily, it spilled over once more a bit on her and dribbled down to her shirt. She slammed the mug down and nooed. Then she said in a harsh voice. "MORE!" A few strands of curls came in her face and she swatted them away like flies, looking at them curiously. "Wha's this hair in my face?! Somebody 'ave a knife?" Evelyn asked staring wildly at the curls in front of her face. "I wanna chope zese off..." Evelyn trailed away and then looked at Eric.
"YOU! Pretty boy...ye got a knife on ye?" Evelyn asked him as she began to frisk Eric a bit. In her drunken stupor she had lost all sorts of notion of boundaries and her hands searched his belt briefly for a knife when she she found nothing on him she grunted. "Stupid bloke...don' got nothin' in yer bloody pockets either...yer lucky yer a damn good lookin' chap..." Evelyn told him eyeing him curiously.

(greetings from New York. I'm sorry, I've been gone, but as you may have guessed I've been......to say the least, busy. all business............and all one giant pain in the behind. Forgive my absent state, but I've not forgotten about the RPG. )
:Jack simply grinned at Will and guided the Pearl into port. Sometimes a lad like Will needed a good fight or two in their lives on ocasion. kept them sharp, on their toes..........:
:The ship glided into port with the grace of a swan and Jack had the anchor down and sail's closed ina matter of a quarter hour. The various crew members swarmed around, in diffrent states of excitment, distress, eagerness, and amusemnt. Jack took it all in, resolving to let them figure out what they wanted to do on their own:
"be back by nightfall!" Was all he said and prepared to go ashore. there were half a dozen taverns screaming his name, and they would not be disappointed:
