Fishy turned red again, but he had no words to say. he wanted to say a lot of things, a few more amusing than others, and "i love you" was one of them. He let a hand wander up to his own neck and feel the clover there, and then it brushed against hers.
He didn't know what to do. it almost felt as if someone else were moving his body. But, he did what he did. and what he did, was kiss her

<Diana felt herself go numb for a second and then she kissed him back, pretty much amazed by the whole sistutation.>
<She pulled back a second to look at him and smiled a second, then lifted her eyebrow, a playful smile on her face> "Been reading romance stories to?" <Her voice playful, and she smiled that much brighter> "you know. you're not what I expected from a pirate."

he blushed red again, and slowly opened his eyes. they'd been closed. she was so beautiful, and she'd kissed him back. it occured to him that he might be falling head over heels in love, but then he stopped worrying. He looked back into her eyes, and lost himself there. "well, is that a good thing or a bad one?"

<She considered the question> "Bad because now I have to rethink the way I picture pirates. And I'm set in my ways. Irish and all. We're supposed to be hard headed. and good because. Well. You're great the way you are."
<She grinned at him, a happy glitter in her eyes and she smiled at him> "I don't think I'll mind reconsidering my opinions about pirates now."

Rose watched Roux and Orestes go below, and shook her head, chuckling.
"What?" Hawk asked curiously, wondering at the expression that had settled onto her face.
"It's so obvious those two get along...that they banter an' play-fight an' such, but that they watch each other's backs in a tough spot, an' pull through in th' end." She grinned, a bit nostalgically.
Hawk raised an eyebrow, wondering if perhaps she was inferring a bit too much. "Perceptive," he managed.
Rose laughed. "Well, 's just, I've always wanted a brother...or sister...someone t'grow up with, y'know? Usually a brother...'cause 'twas just me an' Mum, 'til she died..." A musey expression crept over her face. "I 'ad a twin brother, y'know? But I dunno what 'appened to 'im. Either 'e died, or was kidnapped, or somethin'...I always wish I'd known 'im."
Wondering if he was being too presumptuous, Hawk gingerly laid a hand on Rose's shoulder. He liked her, knew that they'd bond quickly. "I've wished th' same," he said softly. "Never knew me family...was raised by a man until I was five, an' I've never known anyone else..."
Rose grinned at him again; this time full of emotion, nostalgia, and genuine well-wishing. "If you keep up with us, mate, we'll be your family...true's y'live, you'll never meet a more loyal bunch than this lot. We stick together, 's what...an' like a family, we'll never let go.
Orestes just grinned as he followed Roux. It was a warning he'd gotten many a time, from his father and mother as well as his big brother...truth was, as much as he loved playing around, he took fate seriously. That didn't mean he was serious - gods forbid. He just had a way of sensing when he was going too far.
"Not need me? Oh, Father forbid," Orestes gasped, affecting shock. "Everyone needs more insanity in their lives sometimes...even this ship. We need you to loosen up more, brother...hopefully I can help with that, aye?" He winked cheerily. "First, we'll start by finding you a girl..."

Roux gave his brother a smirking smile. "and you think the god of the sun can not find a girl on his own, dear brother?"
Hermes was for all intents and purposes a good guy. A little nuts, but alright. He loved his little brother dearly, but his wild side sometimes made Roux question him. Apollo, for that was indeed who Roux was, had found out from the start of his brother life he was going to be trouble.
Hermes had stolen his flock of cows and killed two to make a instrument of great beauty, the lyre. Apollo had been furious at first, but he still smiled fondly at the memory of his newborn brother declaring himself a god on the very evening of his birth.
"As anyone told you that you are the most infuriating god ever to walk the halls of Olympus? It's a wonder Father let you join us there."
Apollo laughed and then asked: "Hawk and Rose then? They are the Sparrow children?"

Hermes grinned brightly, allowing his immortal glow to creep into his eyes just a bit. "Of course not, you're too stiff," he teased cheerfully. "And yes, numerous times. Still, don't forget, I'm the one who gave you the lyre..." After Hermes had killed two of Apollo's cows, the god had been furious, but Hermes had placated him with the lyre he'd made. Being the god of music, Apollo had loved the instrument; Hermes had driven a hard bargain for the lyre, but ever since then, the two brothers had been good friends.
As Apollo mentioned the Sparrow children, Hermes nodded. "I can't believe no one's noticed yet. With Hawk it's understandable...people are seeing 'cause he's just gotten on board...but Rose..." He shook his head in a gesture bemoaning the lack of observance in mortals. "Ever looked at her when she grins? It's Jack Sparrow in a seventeen-year-old girl's body." He grinned himself, obviously enjoying this. Sometimes he thought he should have been a pirate...

Apollo considered this and nodded. Rose had always reminded him of the captain. But he'd never really concerned himself with matters like that. He just never paid attention to faces when stories were more important to him.
"Well then we are so honored to have your observing eyes watching over us all then." He remarked sarcastically but he smiled none the less. "And stiff? But do not forget there are worse to be found then me in our home, brother. Ares for explain. or even Father at times."
He opened a door close to his own bunk, showing a simple bed a trunk to store things and some blankets. "It's not so elegant as a spoiled little godling as yourself is used to I'm afraid, But it'll have to do for now."
He grinned at his younger brother with affection, then noted his glow in his eyes. "Be careful how you appear. your eyes glow with your true form. It's not wise to do so. Besides, dear Hermes, if it's ladies you seek on this ship with your current form." Apollo motioned to Hermes new body, so like his true one. "you may not suceed. Many have chosen partners now."
Apollo smiled, and leaned aganist the doorway: "what news of our home? New trouble? Why have you come here? I thought all of the others thought me mad for leaving my temples and home."
