Of Greeks and Pirates. Part Three

[Captain Morgan Barbossa]

::Barbossa pondered this for a moment. He knew, of course, that Selina was right. She had the kind of power that could destroy an entire army with one glance... yet was it worth the risk to bring her aboard his own ship?::

"If ye promise ta stay outta sight o' me crew, I'll let ye come. But if ye try anythin' funny, know ye'll get the same treatment as anyone else aboard me ship - a nice long visit ta Davy Jones."

::He held out his hand:: "Do we 'ave an accord?"

Selina looked him over, she seemed to be considering things carefully. She shrugged. Hell this could be fun and if she died, so be it. There's nothin' worth living for really anyway. Selina smiled and stood. "Right...an accord we have." Selina nodded stretching out her hand and shook Bossa's cold, scaly like, hand. She pulled away quickly. Even he gave her the chills, it was a strange presence he possesed.

"Now...where' the ship?" Selina asked placing a hand upon her hip letting her dark, eyes gaze around the quieted pub. She wanted to leave. "I need to get off this God forsaken island." She mumbled. Selina had spent so much time here it truly was making her sick. The same faces, the same places, the same poor saps, night after night. None presented a challenge to her. At least not yet...

::Grinning, Barbossa patted Selina's shoulder:: "Glad ta have ye aboard. The ship should be ready ta sail by tomorrow night, accordin' ta the man I bought it off of. Meet me by the docks when the sun sets."

::He nodded at her and drew his hood up over his face. Before he turned to leave, however, he turned back and grinned at her:: "This'll be yer last night 'ere fer a good while. Make it count, eh?" ::He winked at her, and started to walk out::

Gypsy finished off her drink quickly,standing and walking over to the two who had been talking.They were starting to leave...She felt some hesitation;normally,doing something like this would get her beaten...but her captors were gone.With a deep breath,she strode up to Barbossa.

"You're taking on a crew?"She asked,keeping herself from sounding hesitant through sheer force of will.

:Jack honestly wondered just why people were beginning to appear out of nowhere. It was getting to be somewhat of a habit it seemed. He eyed Roux's cousin from the crow's nest, but didn't do anything.:

:instead he climbed down and walked for his cabin: "I'll be with you in a few minutes." Was all he said. He hada feeling something wasn't quite right with this new fellow:

Fishy smiled back at her, still holding her in his arms. "Here, lets get you a nice bed t' lay on, we can worry about swimming later." he said, giving Diana a slightly worried look. "I jus' want y' t' be ok, 'lright?" And saying so, he carried her past a few friendly faces, down into the hull of the Pearl. He brought Diana to an empty cabin, turned, and opened the door with his back, still holding her in his arms. He set her down on a cot, and gave her another blanket, then sat down beside her.
"There," he almost whispered "much better."

< Diana smiled brightly and nodded> "I agree. Swimming later, once I'm not so damp." <She laughed a little bit more then hugged him>

"Thanks for being there. Really. I mean, I couldn't think down there. It really felt like I was being swallowed up."

<She shivered a bit her teeth chattering nd she giggled > "Some pirate I am huh?"

Fishy smiled, sitting next to her on the bed, and gently brushed a strand of Diana's hair away from her face. "You c'n be anythin' ye want t' be, as long as yer you, Diana." he grinned adn laughed a little, when she mentioned "soggy", realizing that he was still rather wet himself, and was making a small puddle on the sheet. He leapt up, blushing slightly and appologising, feeling rather akward. "Hey, should i go, or do ye want company?" he asked timidly, but smiling. "And do ye want a dry set o' clothes too?"

<Diana giggled a bit> "Oh don't worry. water's better on sheets then in your lungs." <she smiled in a good natured way. It took a lot to upset Diana.>

"Well. I was hoping for some company. But I might feel better dried off." <She smiled at him> "Promise you'll come back once i've changed?"

[Evelyn]

Selina nodded silently as Barbossa made his leave. This would indeed be her last night here and she would spend it the best way she knew how. Her eyes shifted around the room and she eyed a few men here and there, but she passed them all. Instead she head out into the night, looking for some peace. Something Selina wanted more than anything, a nice warm bed, clean sheets, and a warm meal in the morning.

This Selina found easily, at an Inn not too far from the docks of Tortuga. There she spent a few pieces of silver and recieved all she wanted. However that night, she was not alone...even when Selina wanted to, she could never resist, and in the morning would find herself waking to one last victim, one last poor sap, and one last small fortune to claim. At least for now....

Fishy smiled warmly back, and nodded. "Aye, ye c'n 'ave me when'e'er ye want me. I'll go wait outside the door 'ere, alright?" With that, he smiled again, and closed the door quietly behind him. Once he was outside, he slumped slightly against the door, smilling really broadly to himself, thinking of Diana, even though she was only a few feet away

::Barbossa whirled around when he heard someone speaking to him. He was surprised to see it was a young girl with dark hair and olive skin. She was pretty, but there was a strange look in her eyes, as if she had experienced a great tragedy...::

"Uh, sorry lass, but there be nothin' I can do... Ye're a bit young fer -- " ::He suddenly froze. Lokoing down at her hands, he noticed they were covered in fresh blood. Whatever this girl's age, she already had the makings of a great pirate...:

"What be yer name, lass?"

<She changed quickly. into breeches again, and a plain white shirt. She tied a sash of green around her waist and wrapped her wet hair into a bun atop her head>

<With a smile Diana slipped her boots back on and yawned widly before opening the door up a smile still set firmly in place. She looked at Fishy waiting for her>

"So, my good pirate. Any ideas?"

Fishy nearly leapt in suprise. He'd been half day-dreaming, half swooning, and when he was Diana again it was like a dream come true. He stuttered for an instant, and then took a small step forward. He decided that she was beautiful no matter how she was dressed.
"hmm, ideas for what?" he finally managed. "Anything works for me, as long as the company is the same."

She paused when he asked her name.Her real name?No.No one else knew it;it was fading even from her memory.Instead,she replied with the only name she had ever answered to."Gypsy.And what am I to call you?"She chose to ignore the comment about her age,since she herself wasn't sure how old she was.Noticing that he had seen the blood on her hands,she wiped some of it off discreetly on her deep purple skirt,making a mental note to wash it out later...
