This will take place one year after the movie ends with Jack leaving Port Royal after his near hanging. Directly after the movie.....
Sometimes people should just keep their mouths shut. But well....Jack doesn't know what silence means....as Norrington has tried numerous times to impress upon the pirate......it's not working....a failed attempt at teaching a drunken pirate the rules of civility.....
But as luck or unluck would have it Jack got tangled in with some gods. Greek gods. Well....nothings changed...he still manages to annoy them...and make fun of their togas...I mean...wouldn't you? I know I would! This could get interesting.
While sailing out of Tortuga on the Black Pearl Jack and his crew come across a tiny boat. A greek craft...something that in itself is odd....and inside of it is a young lady. A beautiful lady. Jack, well...being Jack decides to take her aboard. The lady doesn't talk at first, but little by little they learn her name is Callisto, a greek girl from Athens.
And the gods want her. She has the power of foresight....the power to see into the future....and with that she can change fate.
Some of gods are alright with this and accept that they aren't all powerful. Nor can Barbossa.....apparently he's alive.....(woot...as if that's new news right?)....and thinks by getting ahold of Callisto, he can gain a power only gods can contain. And with it destroy Jack. Namely Artemis and Athena as well as Dionyus and Apollo see the whole matter as what must happen.
But Poseidon, Ares, Juno and Aphrodite see this as a game and the prize is Callisto and her power.
Jack and his crew and friends just happen to become pons of sorts in the game. Sort of like wandering into the Trojan War without so much as a spear...but without a big horse.....instead it's just the Black Pearl and small army of pirates.....fun stuff? Hell yes.
With the Sun, Moon, Wisdom and Rum on their side you'd think they'd have a easy time of it. Especially with the Rum. But when fighting against the Sea, War, a Woman's Wrath and Love...and a vengeful Barbossa.....it's not so easy.
Jack and his crew realize the only way to solve the problem is to find the King of the Gods and get him to decide. But it's not a thing easily done. Mount Olympus is a hard place to access and Jack has no way of getting there.
Or does he? While some gods are hell bent on being on sides....some just want to play along. Not all of them can be trusted...but what choice do the crew and Jack have? Not much. and besides.....Jack is looking for a show down with the god of wine!
Rules: 1. no spamming 2. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER 3. NO cursing!!!! 4. Common curtesy is a must 5. NO GODMODING (unless otherwise stated) 6. have fun maties
note: maties..this be a loose story plot...some things can change..but it's not likely....enjoy.....

:Linea's smile lessened a little when he asked her what she had been doing. Dark times had befallen her family in the last while, but it was behind her now.:
Well, I be a thief, have been for a long while. I've got no family 'cept Kora and she the same. My da, well, he died in a fight a long time ago, an' me ma died when I was born. I pretty much took care of meself, learned some interestin' tricks te gettin' stuff from pockets when I be but a child. It turned out, I had meself quite a skill there, so I kept at it, an' stole more and more through my life. I want te put that behind me now, sorta, start over if ye know what I mean.:
:Her smiled brightened a bit as she spoke.:
Well, what's past, is past an' there be nothin' I can do about it 'cept live my life now.
:She looked out over the water and grinned, thinking of how he had just saved her from the inevitable weather conversation.:
Aye the weather be perfect as ye say Roux, great time te be sailin' away from all else. Just lettin' the world slip away like the settin' sun. :It was odd for her to let herself loose her guard a bit, as she spoke so poetically. It was a side she rarely showed to people and tried to hide it as best as she could, only she couldn't now.:
Well, I'm sure travelin' with this crew must have been quite a rare treat indeed. It should be interestin' to see what goes on here when we set sail an' hit the open waters. I myself am certain that the Cap'n could drink me under the table.:
:She laughed a little, and just took in the new sights around her. She was happy, happier than she'd been in a long while, and she was grateful.:

Roux listened. It was one thing he could do well. He liked listening. He eyed Linea a while, saying nothing and letting her speak to him. Maybe she needed a outlet.
He nodded, neutrally. He'd seen some pretty interesting results when gods and mortals mixed. Normally the mortal ened up dead and the god, sad or despairing for lack of a better word. Roux found humanity interesting.
His eyes, which were probably a bit larger then normal peered out to the water. His family, Poesidon was feeling kind today. Gentle even. And Hermes. Where had he run off too?
Again he looked at Linea. She looked, well happy. it made him smile. Anyone who could smile at a calm sea was worth making company.
"A interesting life you've led so far. I hope your time here will bring you happiness."
Alright, his speech was far more neat and proper then a pirate's should be. But it just happened once in a while. but he hid in his pirate speak when he was around a group. He gave her a genuine smile
(occ. I'm off for the night. Goodnight)

Rose saw the captain finally...he was speaking to a new girl in the crew. "Oy! Captain!" She grabbed Maria's hand in one hand, and Hawk's in the other. "Could we 'ave a moment, please?" She inclined her head at Artemis politely, then gestured to Hawk. "It's crazy, 'ow fast we're attractin' stowaways...was wonderin' if you could take a look at this'n."
Hawk stared at the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow. The man was a legend...it was all Hawk could do to bow clumsily, and add, "Captain Sparrow...'s an 'onor, sir..."

Evelyn had begun to unfurl the sails when she heard something about stowaways. She peered down carefully, the slightest mis step could send her falling. "Who do we 'ave here?" she said softly lifting a brow. Apparently they were about to get a new crewmember. "He looks like the Captain." Eve laughed inwardly. He looked a LOT like their captain in fact.
Eyes peering around she noticed Roux had found some company, although that woman was strange to her as well. Looks as if they were picking up quite a few new crewmates once heading out this time. Untying the sails they began to fall and billow out, the infamous black sails marking the very location of a pirate ship and she felt a bit nervous. " 'Oy! Cap'n! Think we should bes' be goin' soon. Don' want the Navy catchin' sight of these!" Eve called down at him as she skillfully maneuvered the rigging to land on the deck.
Her eyes passed over the new man and she felt somehow as if she had known him, or seen him before. She shrugged it off, probably just her imagination really.

(Emma. So far nothing much. a few new chracters. some gods in diguise on the ship. Hermes, and Roux, in a human body. Fun eh? Let's See....Fishy's a Knight now. LOL. Well, Diana's knight anyway. Hmm. Hermes tricked Hawk into getting on board. And other then that...let's see...a knocked out Tobbs and an arugment between Eric and Evelyn. Oh. and Will's joining us for a trip to Tortuga ...or so most of us think. And...other then that.....we're on the ship, just leavin' port. Savvy...-JACK)

:Jack gave Evelyn a look, glanced atthe sails and guessed what she was thinking.:
"It's alright Evelyn. We've sailed the waters off this island for a good year now, the only one we have to worry about is Norrington. He won't troulbe us to much."
:When Rose came up with Maria he glanced the new young man over. Jack raised an eyebrow and looked closer. He looked a bit like Jack himself. But...that wasn't to odd was it?:
"Well....seems we're attractin' stowaways. Must be the black sails." He smiled a bit: "Well, lad, we're headin' to Tortuga. Yer welcome to stay on as a crewman. Or ye cane leave at Tortuga. Whichever suits you..."
:He was going to ask a few questions, but decided aganist it, for now his main concern was gettin out into open waters. He turned to Rose: "Make sure he has a bunk before night comes."

Eve nodded at Jack, gave a curteous nod to Maria, Rose, and the new crew mate, that is if he would stay, and left to find things that needed to get done. The smell of the salt and the spray of the sea were all she needed. It was all she had depended on for so long, if her heart loved anything it all, it was this.
Evelyn was a pretty reserved person and she took joy in the simple things in life, the VERY simple things. Her hand for instance...at one point she could recognize the lines in her hand by number. Or the splinters in the crow's nest. Long nights alone aboard the Devil's Wrath had caused her to do such things.
The crew so far had almost no affect on her. She had been sailing with them for six months, but in that time she had kept mostly to herself, mostly observing. It was strange, having this freedom of being able to speak whenever she wanted. For four years a word uttered without permission could result in reprimand.
These memories had brought her endless nightmares that she truly worked to rid herself of, but never seemed to be able to do it. She can think of a couple times when perhaps her cries had awakened the crew, but nothing was ever said about it.
Thinking about it now, Eve knew exactly why she had such an issue with seeing Eric cry. Seeing a man cry is a deep, profound, sadness. It is much more acceptable to see a woman break down a woman gave her heart freely. In order for a grown man to cry, there has to be something truly deep, a shattered hope, dream, love to bring a man to tears. Her father for instance, NEVER cried.
Her father was the strongest, most brave, loving man she knew and he had always taught her that a man never cries...but that principle quickly faded when her mother died unexpectedly. Her death brought her father to endless tears, it was by seeing him cry that she knew something bad had happened in their bedroom. To see a man cry, meant something terrible...it was an ominous thing for her to witness, thus never liked to see a man cry.

:Linea smiled at Roux as he spoke to her.:
Aye, an interestin' life indeed. So much has happened in so little time, but it's past now. I look only te the future and it's promises.
:She stopped suddenly and just looked at the water for a minute.:
I'm....I'm sorry. I didn't mean te talk yer ear off. I usually don't let people know this much about me, but I felt as if I could tell ye and nothin' bad would come of it. I guess, what I be tryin' te say is, thank ye...for listenin'.

*Eric simply raised a brow and grinned, looking away from Evelyn as she asked if he had called her old. He figured he let her take it how she would, it might even be more humerous that way. When she stated her age he looked slightly surprised and he glanced over at her.* Ah well Im two years wiser then. *He smirked. He was about to walk away and approach the strange woman who had helped herself on board when Eveyln mentioned to him how its best to let go of the past. He glanced over his shoulder at her and his face turned slightly more serious than it had been. He nodded and lowered his eyes but smiled.* Easier said then done I suppose. *He replied with a shrug then turned and turned again, drawing his sword from his belt as he tromped off towards Artemis. But as Jack approached her instead he backed off, figuring it wasn't his ship and he wasn't even apart of the crew. It was best if he let others handle the things. He watched as Evy flitted away and he sighed returning his sword to it's sheath. He was glad they were getting ready to set sail, frankly he hadn't been ready to come back to Port Royal. Not after Ashley. He only did it for Will.*[/color]

* Rose had found out Jack and pulled Maria along with Hawk upon deck. She took a quick glance at the crew and noticed a new crewmember on board. Maria had over heard her name had been Artemis. She merely nodded when catching her sight then turned back to Rose, Hawk, and Jack. She smiled at the fact that Hawk had been amazed that he had been this close to Jack. She gave Hawk a pat on the back and spoke with a grin * " Welcome to the crew mate..." * She turned to Rose* " 'ope he knows 'ow much trouble 'e's gettin' 'imself inte'"

(Thanks muchly,Jack...:kicks her computer again:Apologies if I contradict anything anyone's said,I'll just fix it later, when I know what the hell is going on,lol...)
Emma,it seemed, had been busy in the last three years. While Rick had sat in port, drinking away his memories, she had joined no less than seven crews, the current one being the only one from which she had not recieved a black spot and a warning that the captain would kill her on sight if she ever came near them again. He shook his head, brushing his lips across her forehead.
"Well, lass,y've cert'nly been busy,"he mused, running a hand through her long, auburn hair as they sat on the docks. It was impossible.Yesterday, she'd been dead, but here she was,in his arms again. He sighed, scratching the back of his head.
"So,this cap'n yer sailin' for...'e's a good man?Takes care'f his crew?"He said this very casually, but with an underlying tone indicating that if any captain dared not to take proper care of Emma he'd rip their arms off and beat them to death with them.
Emma laughed, her eyes, once dull with all the alcohol it took to drown her grief, now sparkled with happiness."Don' worry so much,Rick,'e's a wonderful cap'n,couldn' ask f'r better...r'minds me of yer dad that way, know?"
Rick seemed slightly suspicious. His father had died three years ago in his arms, after being shot by a man he'd stolen from.Even now it hurt to think about it."So 'o's this great captain'a yers,Em?"he asked almost jokingly.
She paused for a moment, drawing closer to him.A smirk danced across her lips,in her eyes."You won' believe me if I jus' tell ye,"she almost gloated."Come on,you have to come with us,I promise, the crew'll love ye..."So saying, she grabbed his hand and pulled him to his feet, all but dragging him to the ship.
"Th'....th' Black Pearl?"Rick's green eyes grew wide with wonder."Emma...y'...y'sail on this?Oh,God,Em,this's amazin'..."He tried to take in every detail of the ship at once...the tall masts, the sleek shape of the hull...He felt like he was in a trance.Nothing really registered until they were going out of the port.He heard Emma's voice.
"C'mon,Rick,if yer gonna be stayin' I'd better tell th' Cap'n b'fore we're too far out..."Again,she took his arm, pulling him over to the infamous captain.Hearing a comment about the ship being a magnet for stowaways,Emma grinned sheepishly at Jack."Speakin' of which,"she said,"'Ere's another one for ye....apologies all 'round,I wasn' expectin' t'run int' him..."Regarding Jack as one would a father seeing a new beaux for the first time, she pushed Rick forward slightly.
The daze came back.Captain Jack Sparrow...the man of legends...Rick had grown up the son of a pirate captain, hearing tales of the greatest pirate of them all,Jack Sparrow, who escaped from under the noses of God only knew how many navymen, who sacked Nassau without a shot fired, who could outdrink just about anyone...He wasn't just a man,he was a hero,a god!Collecting his wits, the young man smiled."'Lo there, mate,"he said, his voice slightly weak."'S good t'meet y',Rick MacKinnon at y'service..."

After making certain things were in place Evelyn peered around and noticed as Emma came back aboard the Pearl, and with her new friend. Her eyes scanning the decks, the stern and the bow of the ship. She would grow to learn the names of them all she supposed, in time.
Putting a hand through her curls she looked over the ship and looked down into the deep blue seas as they were beginning to distance themselves from the docks of Port Royale. Evelyn had onlye heard a few whispers of their destination...Tortuga. She had spent several months in Tortuga, scrounging her way around, making company and friends where ever she could find one. Although those months were mostly lonely and a time for her to think.
Now she would be returning the same, she supposed, still a bit lonesome...but in better company. Hopefully their stay there would be short lived, for there was truly nothing like the open seas.

Rose grinned at Jack. "Thankee, cap'n..." She saluted, then grinned at Maria. "Doubt it, mate...'e 'asn't seen anything yet." She clapped Hawk's shoulder warmly. "Let's go find you a cabin, Hawk..."
Hawk had bowed gratefully to Jack Sparrow, then smiled cheerily at Maria and Rose. Now that he was back on a ship, Hawk's natural charisma was back...he was a "people person" of the highest sort, able to interact flawlessly in any crowd. "I can tell this'll be...a learnin' experience..."

:Jack looked at Rick with a sort of amused face. The lad seemed a bit, awed? Jack's ego swelled a moment before he nodded:
"Aye.....we could always use a extra pair of hands. " He looked at Emma: "We've gathered a few new crewmen today it seems. But i've not the time yet to see to them. So make sure yer friend here has a bunk before night comes. and get him somethingto eat. Savvy?"
:Jack turned his attention back to the helm, then whistled for someone to come take over the wheel for a bit. As it happened the nearest person was Evylen.: "Keep her steady on this course..." He said with a smile. "I'll be back in a hour or so to take over. I trust ye can handle it." and left, to climb the rigging. it was a habit of his. He liked to be out at sea above his ship, looking into the open waters:
