<again that smile and laugh>
"Well. from what I saw the crew is well and safe and on our way. So unless Jack needs us, I'd guess wer'e free to do what we want."
<she thought a bit> "you said you have some books? Do you have any you'd like to share? I love reading. Well. adventures anyway. Novels."

Fishy was gone in an instant, back to his cabin and then back again with an armful of books. "i um..."he began, blushing, trying to offer her the old texts. "thats my favotires too." He hadn't even had time to look at the books he held, and didn't even do so now, his eyes fixed on Diana, and nothing else. "i..um..." he laughed nervously "if they dont need us up there, i c'n stay with you, if ye like, that is."

Orestes, as we must now call him, grinned broadly at Roux, able to tell what he was thinking. The possibilities here were endless for a trickster like him. He then looked curious - genuinely curious. "Jack Sparrow? I'd love to meet him." He glanced up to where the man was, and nodded respectfully. He could tell that the man sensed something not quite right...he'd have to work to make Jack like him despite that. It shouldn't be hard - most everyone took to Hermes.

*Eric turned away from the railing and went to go in search of Will when he glanced over at saw Evelyn smiling at him. He raised a brow, glanced around a moment then akwardly smiled back. He lingered a moment before spinning around quickly and heading off towards the cabins. He found Will sitting at the table, his feet propped up on a barrel, and he was loading bullets into his pistol.* Hey mate, what are you doing cooped up in here. All the action is out on deck. *He stated.*
*Will glanced up as Eric walked in and he finished loading the pistol and he snikered at the mans comments. Rising from his place and placing the pistol back in his belt he glanced out on deck and around at all the people upon it. When he saw Evelyn he laughed and glanced over his shoulder.* Ah I get why you want me on deck. Dont want to be alone with her?
*Eric laughed and shook his head.* No thats not it. Forget it. *He said and brushed past Will, slapping him on the shoulder as he went by. Will sighed but followed anyways, curious to see what the rucus was he had heard below decks earlier.*

( Ok now im really confused.. So much posting in only one day!!!)
* Havoc was on deck, she could feel it hearing the rushing of footsteps above her. The crew was growing restless. She brushed pass Will and put her arm out stopping him and Eric.* " What's goin' on up there?"

*Artemis watched as hell broke loose on deck. She grinned at watching such a sight. She wasn't cold hearted she had just always been amused in situations such as these. She held a tight grasp on her cutlass and strode off a ship*
" I need a drink..."
* As she walked through the town the folk had been giving her strange glances... And overheard whispers of what her name was. They had already been perinoid about her and she'd not been here for nearly a day.*
* She spotted a tavern and headed for it. With a mug she sat down... She had overheard a conversation at the next table. A woman and an older man. another girl soon joined in. She listened intently and rose a brow at some comments... A new crew? Is that what they're searching for...*
*Artemis hadn't been amused by the crew of Sparrow and they hadn't been amused with her. She knew she had to leave that crew for her sake. This was a chance and she took it*
* With one faint glance around the pub she stood up and leaned over the table next to her*
" In need of a crew are you?"
* Her voice was shallow yet mysterious*

Evelyn stared out at the horizon, squinting against the harsh rays of the sun. She had looked about and smiled at Eric, hoping he would have joined her. She sighed heavily. Manning the helm was entertainment in its own, no doubt, but she needed someone to share idle chat with. It seems most of the crew was emptying below decks and she lifted a brow wondering why they all had begun to head below.
As she kept the ship steady she hummed a familiar tune to herself one she had learned when she was young, sweet, lullying tune that had helped put her to sleep. Eve felt up to her earring, the feather dangling downward, a deep, blood red. Her poor friend Capt. Hawkley...such a loyal friend, she thought.
Her eyes stared around hoping she would find a bit of company soon.

< Diana smiled at him, then offered a hand with the books, taking a few from him so he wouldn't drop any>
"Come on in." <She invited and led him inside> "You've so many of them."
<She looked over the titles, amazed he managed to keep so many aboard>
"which is your favorite?" <She looked at the older books curiously. then back at Fishy>

Roux watched Jack then looked to "Orestes". A look of extreme amusement playing over his face. His young brother might find the captain a mere amusement, of sorts. But he had a feelingthey might be good friends. Hermes, after all, being the god of theives and tricksters. And he had a whole boatload to look after.
Roux glanced at th sun, his eyes flashed a brillant gold. Not yellow. but real true gold. Like gold dust had landed in his eyes. They glittered brightly for a minute or so, then it was gone. He smiled, ever the cheerful one and he whispered to his "cousin".
"Be careful, brother. Fate always is a strange thing. Don't interfere to much, tempting as it is"
with that, Roux made a motion towards the trapdoor that led below decks. "come on, I'll find you a place to stay."
He smiled over his shoulder as he walked below. "Don't go to mad here, I think we've enough pirates and questionable sanity on this ship. We might not even need you."

Fishy blushed again, and it took an extra moment to shift his gaze from Diana back to his books. "I..well, i like all of them really, though i really like the Illiad. Jus' finished that, that i did." he said, looking up at her again. "i...well, its about a great war, you see, " he began again. he had meant to say something about the book, something..else, but instead he managed to goof up once more. "the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen." was what he had meant to say, but instead it came out as "you're beautiful..." he suddenly realized what he'd just said, nearly paniced, and accidentally dropped the books to the floor, bright red.

<Diana brightened when he mentioned the Illiad. She'd began reading it a long time ago. Never finished it.>
"you're beautiful." <She looked up and turned a bright red, but then caught herself by helping him pick the books up>
"Was that a compliment?" <She asked him with a smile, then added> "I remember that book. The War with Troy. All because of Helen and Paris right? But I never got to read the end of it."

Fishy was still blushing, but smiled broadly at her. His heart leapt into his throat when his hand accidentally brushed Diana's as they gathered up the old books. "Aye, 'tis a great story. If you like, i'll lend it t' ye..." and he brightened again with the thought of her reading his book. He blushed more, and answered "and aye...that was a compliment" and lowered his eyes in embarassment

< Diana smiled at him, and then kissed his cheek> "Why thank you then."
<her eyes sparkled brightly> "you'd really let me borrow it? Are you sure? If it's your favorite I wouldn't want to damage it!" <her voice showed concern> "I mean, if you never know if you'd ever be able to find a copy if something happened to this one."

Fishy blushed even redder at her kiss. he wanted to kiss her back, but he knew it wouldn't be proper of him. "Aye, of course i'd let ye borrow it. I trust you most certianly well enough, 'n' if ye loose it, well, it'll be alright. Its the memory that counts, no?"

<Diana smiled, and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, then nodded> "Well. I promise to take extra good care of it then, alright?"
<she picked up the book and looked it over, almost as if she were studying a particulary bright jewel> "It's worn. I can see you really do like it."
<She thought it over a minute, then unclasped the little sliver strand necklance from her neck, a small silver clover hanging from it. > "My gift to you then is this."
<She slipped it over his head> "one for saving my life. And two because I told myself I'd give it to the person who I saw as a true friend to me. and that person is you."
