(ooc - I have no idea whats going on but I'll give it my best shot. instead of taking on my LOTR name I'll stay as Saber.)
Saber hit something with a bump "Where the h.." she never finished her sentace, she saw the others and yelped. They were surounded by streange beings. Quickly she got up and dodged behind a tree. She heard something, but it was barely the rustling of a leaf. sho looked up to the sound and saw *gulp* someone pointing an age old weapon at her. This person had pointy ears and was dressed rather streangely. Saber had no time to pull out any of her weapons, this person already had her in her sights. Saber rasied her hands. "Please dont shoot, just take to the others please." The person she was talking to was of course Duinorwen.

Duinorwen glared down at this strange new human."Another one..." she mused, not relaxing the pull on her bowstring at all."Who are you, where are you from, and do you serve or oppose Sauron?"she rattled off automatically.Being a guard for a sufficient amount of time could do that to you.But then she paused, turning her head to the rest of the party. This young woman was dressed in a rather familiar style...though her clothing was slightly less extravagant.Nevertheless, she called back to the rest of the party."Is this woman a friend of yours,Jack?"
Jack, who had been busy filling Merry and Pippin's heads with outlandish tales, looked over. His eyes widened slightly."Saber?"

"yes its me Jack, and for God's sake can you get this person to take that ancient weapon and put it away?" Saber looked nevously up into tree. She knew she could handle guns and kinves but having a bow pointed at her was a new experiance. "Whats going on anyway?" she looked around "And where am I?"

"It's a long story,Saber," replied Jack."But you're in good company...well...except maybe that Elf over there....the blonde, twitchy one..."He turned his attention to the Elf woman in the tree."Yes,this is a friend of mine, and I'm sure she'd appreciate you not killing her..."Duinorwen sighed, nodded, and relaxed her bow.
"As to where you are...well...they've tried to explain it to me before...all I can really say is that we're a long way from the Carribean, savvy? They call this place Middle-Earth....we're about a day's walk from that place...what was that place that we just left?"
"Rivendell,"supplied Duinorwen, tossing the arrow back into the quiver on her shoulder.
"Yes,Rivendell. And supposedly we're on this great quest-thingy...they've tried to explain that, too, but I'm still not entirely sure what they're on about...something about a Ring, and evil, and this Sauron fellow...they don't like Sauron, something about enslaving the free people of Middle-Earth..."Jack shrugged,as if to say he didn't know what else to say.

"Goodness! This is all very confusing." Saber said joining the others, and still keeping a wary eye on the person that appeard to be an elf. "So....whats happenin' now? I mean I have no idea how I got here or why im here, but are we like suposd to help these...um.." Saber couldnt come up with a good word. They didnt all appear to be people so she couldnt call them that, and calling them creatures would be rude. Besides that elf girl looked fast on the draw. "Well I guess I'll join this little quest thing, Ive got nothing better to do." said Saber with a half grin

Jack was honestly beginning to wonder if the Black pearl herself would drop out of the sky any moment and he looked hopfully at the clouds. When no ship appeared he looked a bit upset but shrugged and went on with his story telling to Merry and Pippin who seemed rather interested in hearing all of this:

Duinorwen looked around suspiciously.Would more of these strange people just...appear?When it seemed that this was not going to happen any time soon, she leapt silently out of the tree, picking up some firewood as she walked back into the small clearing they were evidently sleeping in.She knelt near the center of the group of people, and before long had a cheerful fire going. She then leaned back in the grass, singing quietly to herself.

CAra looked curiously up as a new human swaggered into the group with Jack and Duin. "Another one? Where in Arda did SHE come from?" Cara said completely confuzzled at the moment. She shook her head and watched as Duin satrted a fire. "Well the more the merrier I suppose..." She said softly then shrugged rising from her reclined position o nthe ground to root through the food packs. "I guess dinner would be rather apropo at the moment..." She said pulling out some sausage and potatoes. Soon her and Din were busy cooking over the fire. Wel she did most of the cooking Duin just mainly watched.

Jack just went on to tell Merry nad Pippin about a treasure hunt he'd gone on years before. The midgets seemed to enjoy the stories....even Gandalf seemed amused. "Well..least I hav'nt lost my touch in the story telling area.." Jack thought to himself. As the others made camp around them, Jack looked up to see if anyone needed help, but figured that he'd just be getting in the way if he tried to.

Cara looked up from poking the food as it cooked to see JAck looking about as if looking for something to do. "Are you in need of a job Jack?" She called sweetly with a grin. "If you'd like you could take a look about and see if you can find a small stream or other source of water nearby... Perhaps then I could make us some tea as well? Though I wouldn't suggest going out on your own." She turned her attention back to the food and smacked duins hand with the utensil as she tried to pilfer a sausage. "You wait your turn to eat just like everyone else!" She said sternly

With a nod Jack stood and went in search of a stream, not bothering on asking if anyone wanted to follow him. He could take care of himself. With a few leather water holders he made his way into the trees and followed his ears.
When he did find a source of water he sat down a while, just listening to th sound of it. He waited, seeming to have lost himelf in the sound....and just.thought. He missed the Ocean.

Duinorwen looked reproachfully at Cara."I didn't do it,it was him!"she exclaimed, pointing to Pippin."Sausage-stealing little..."she grumbled, not fooling anyone.Least of all Cara, who was giving her a look which told her this clearly.Duin sighed, getting up to collect more firewood.Just then, she caught sight of the girl who had appeared that afternoon."Hello," she said, leaning on a nearby tree."I'm...sorry if we got off to a bad start. My name is Duinorwen. What was yours?"

*CAra merely shook her head at Duin's antics and went back to cooking the meal allowing everyone to help themselves once everything was finished. Eating ver little herself she moved off to a more secluded ara and climbed a nearby tree angling her head p to the sky, gazing on the stars as they twinkled in the inky black sky. She closed her eye and exhaled slowly. Everything depended on their success or failure. They wer pivotal to the very existance of the known world. With such thoughts laying heavy on her mind she relaxed, not exactly sleeping, but not completely awake either, though ever alert to all that happened around her.*
