Cara noted he intended on keeping the ring close. She would let him for now and take the matter up with Elrond later. She turned her head to the man with the strange white hair as he attempted to speak to her. "What in the name of all the vala is wrong with you man?" She said giving him a strange look, then turned back to the only one that seemed to be Logical. He was also the only one who didn't seem overly shy. "You shall come with me to see Lord Elrond. I'm sure in these circumstances he will forgive an intrusion on the council. I know not of this 'Port Royale' The only ports I know are in Dol Goldur or the Grey Havens. Come with me." She said rather imperialistcally, pushing Jack to walk in front of her and expecting the others to follow.

"No need to get physical just yet lass!" Jack said as he was pushed into walking. "Who's Elrond? Is he the chief pixie....or elf?" He asked. He gave Will a funny glance then grinned at him. "Don't worry mate....I've been to Singapore....." He said this as if he survived some horrible battle at sea, and therefore knew exactly what to do.
"Come on off we go.." and marched on ahead, singing loudly. So loud in fact the birds nearby shut up....or died from the sound of it. It appeared that Jack had lost his mind completly.....or found it or something, but he seemed rather merry about the whole thing.

Cara arched her eyebrow at the "get physical" remark. "In your wildest fantasies mortal." She muttered, following behind him and keeping a close eye on him. "You're a rouge you are and no doubt about it. It's quite all right, I know how to handle rouges. And for your information, yes Elrond is the ruler of Imladris. You are to behave yourself at all time. I will be keeping an eye on you personally. Rest assured of that" She glanced behind her back at the others the Men seeming to look at her oddly but the Female grinning in a very amused type way.

(Jack, this has to be your single most brilliant idea EVER! ::Applauds for Jack's drunken....er, creativeness::)
(Thanks Barbossa....-Jack)
::Barbossa opened his eyes slowly, and sat up. The air around him was thick and polluted, and and smelled of sulpher and ash. He could barely see two feet in front of him in the dirty air around him::
::He sees Jack Monkey lying on the ground nearby, and walks over to her. He picks her up, and sets her on his shoulder, before trying to figure out where the bloody 'ell he was::
"Jack, I don' think we be in the Caribbean anymore..."
::Suddenly, a rough voice from behind him began shouting, and Barbossa heard many heavy feet pounding toward him. He pulled his pistol out of reflex, and fired into the haze. A few seconds later, he heard something large hit the ground and then utter silence::
::Slowly, figures began to materialize out of the darkness. Once they were close enough, Barbossa got a good look at what appeared to be their leader. He stared on in disgust at the horrible beast, the likes of which he'd never seen anything close to in all his year on the sea. They were slightly taller than him, their muscular bodies covered in dark black skin. Their hair was matted to their mutilated faces, and their sharp teeth protruded over their lips. The biggest one approached Barbossa, and kneeled down before him::
"You are truly a great wizard, stranger...." ::He said in a very gruff voice:: "You must be the one the Dark Lord spoke of....come, the Mouth is waiting for you...."
::Barbossa, speechless and feeling more confused than he ever had before, allowed himself to be led toward a huge fotress built into the moutain face::

The branches parted to reveal another woman. She was tall and slender, though most definitely not weak.Soft leather boots covered her feet, and she wore grey breeches and a green tunic which seemed to imitate in the design the shapes of leaves.Upon inspection,it can be noticed that her ears, too, are pointed-another Elf.Her hair-auburn,a strange hue for one of her kind-reached below her waist and swayed gently when she walked. She surveyed the scene before her with interest, recognizing only one person. This was her old friend Cara. With her were four humans, clothed more strangely than any she had ever seen. One of them in particular, with dark hair and a red bandanna, seemed to be giving her friend some trouble.
She emerged from the foliage,a hand as always on the hilt of her still-sheathed broadsword."Mae govannen,Cara!"she called."Who are these strangers in the land of Rivendell?"

Cara looked up and smiled at the Auborn haired elf as she approached. "Suilad Duin, Mae govannen!" She replied with a smile expecting the others to stop when she did She eyed Jack as he kept walking. "Don't make me have to take you down again mortal." She saw a look flash across his face when he halted and turned to face her, as though he were going to make a remark of some nature but thought better of it. Instead a sly cheshire cat grin settling on his features. "I know not what they're business in Imladris is. It seems as though they appeared out of the mist. The rougish dark haired one, he calls himself Jack. He's been keeping me on my toes to say the least. Though he is somewhat intriuging, even if he does smell strongly of liquor." She said barely loud enough for Duin's sensative elven hearing alone to pick up. "The two younger ones have been fairly quite. And the strange one with white hair." She sighed "Well, I'm not quite sure what is wrong with him yet. He speaks strangely, and he refers to himself as Commodore Norrington of the kings Navy, though he has yet to tell me which King... I'm bringing them before Elrond. But what brings you to Imladris, it has been many years since last we saw one another."

The new arrival approached the others,an appraising look on her face. Her hand remained still on her blade, but she made no move to attack. She stared at each human in turn, before turning piercing green eyes back on Cara and smiling."It has indeed been many years,my old friend,"she said. Her voice was soft as a breeze, and yet somehow carried a strength and wisdom that caused the mortals to stare."Thranduil has sent me here on an errand to protect his son as he delivers a message to Lord Elrond.I know not what this message is,but it must be important for the King to have sent his son."She stood in silence for a moment, apparently mulling over some bit of information or other. She looked at the humans again, coming to face the one whom Cara had called Norrington."And who is it that you serve, mortal?I know not of any human kingdoms with need of a navy, save Gondor, which has no king."

Cara nodded her head in agreement to Duin's word's as she spoke, while still keeping a wary eye on the mortals. "Indeed then the prince of Mirkwood is most likely in the council as well." She could see the two younger mortals were standing quite close together the male with his hand around the females waist. Obviously they are partnered. Cara thought, smiling slightly at the young mans protectiveness. She couldn't help but muse over the young mans near Identical Resembalence to Thranduil's son in fact. Though Where legolas was blonde this man's hair was black as midnight. She was dragged back from her thought's as Duin interrogatted Norrington.
"I serve the king of England and am Commodore of his majesty's royal navy!" He said inflating himself rather pompassly. Cara could tell by his bearing alone he was indeed a military man. Al peoples associated with tmilitary of any sort had a sort of pompasness about themselves. Even she fell habit to it at times. And the higher the rank, the worse it got. Cara shrugged nonchalantly as Duin looked towards her quizically.
"They've all been saying strange things like that. British navy, Port Royale, Carribean. I have no clue of what it is they speak. but come let us take them to Elrond now." She says walking forward passing close to Jack. "Come along mortal." She said, plucking the red bandana from atop his head and unfolding it lengthwise, then commencing to tie it about her waist, letting it fall loosely, sashlike about her hips. The red showing up in bright contrast to the Forest green and tan that was her attire. "Rather pretty trinket this. You don't mind my borrowing it do you? Of course, if you want it back you could always try taking it." She said smiling impishly at him before throwing him a wink. Duin shook her head at the blonde Elf as she walked on, if there was one thing about Cara she knew it was she was an incorrigible, though relatively harmless flirt.
"I think it be best if you keep up your guard around that one." She told Jack. "She means nothing by what she says, or does of course. But that doesn't prevent her from doing or saying it."

She shot a grin at Jack, then prodded him."Come on,then, you heard her. We're going to see Elrond,so you'd best not fall behind."When the mortals were all walking, she fell in line behind them, her sword swinging harmlessly at her side as she nocked an arrow to her bow.Just in case.
While they walked,Duinorwen thought a bit more about the strangers before her. They were indeed intriguing, especially the dark one.The one called Norrington annoyed her,as military types tended to-she was a warrior, but rather too independant to be a true soldier. The young ones...well,she had little cause to think anything of them, besides that they had a very strong bond. But the one from whom Cara had stolen the bandanna, this "Jack"...well,Duin was not in the habit of flirting, especially not with mortals, but she could see why Cara would flirt with him.As mortals went,he had a certain charm about him...
She shook her head, chiding herself for behaving like a schoolgirl. They were almost in Rivendell now.

Bandana having been removed Jack frowned. The idea of taking it back flashed across his mind. He wasn't one to be toyed with. And for a moment considered firing a single shot from his pistol to prove it...but decided not to. He'd get the bandana back later.
Instead now he tied his hair back, and looked around in the trees, still singing loudly, as if expecting more ladies to come popping out of the trees like birds of some sort. But he walked by Duin now, and moving his hand deftly retrived his bandna without even touching her. He grinned impishly, and retied the bandana on his head and continued walking as if nothing had taaken place.

Cara ignored the human as he walked up next to her. Though she did arch an eyebrow as she picked up on the thought of his firing at her, and the Name he seemed to have chosen for her. "Dain?" She spoke into Jacks mind without uttering a single verbal word. "I prefer Cara thank you mortal." She grinned at the astonished look on Jack's face when he realized she had spoken to him without speaking. Though she did frown when he managed to lift the bandana from her. Supposedly he thought without her noticing. "That's a neat trick that, I'll have to get you to teach it to me." She said aloud having already gained her amusment by startling him once. "Though one might begin to wonder if you were afraid of touching the female persuasion, judging by the pains you took to avoid doing so at least." She said in a lightly mocking, playful tone. Though she kept her eyes straight ahead, not giving the human the courtesy of looking upon him as she spoke.

::Barbossa was getting a very bad feeling about this. He didn't know where he was, or even how he'd gotten there, and now he was being led through a mountain pass by the ugliest natives he'd ever come across! And who was this "Mouth" they spoke of?::
::He gulped and gripped the handle of his pistol when they passed by what appeared to be a human skeleton leaning against the rocks. This whole place was very unsettling, even to him::
::The journey seemed to take forever, but finally the creatures stopped before a large black tower. The leader turned to Barbossa::
"The Mouth is inside. He will be most pleased to see you, wizard."
::Flashing a sinister and toothy grin, he stalked off, the three others following close behind. Barbossa watched them for a moment, glad to be rid of them, but unsure if he wanted to go on alone::
"Think, Barbossa...if ye tried ta run, ye couldn't get far 'ere. But if ye go inside...." ::He gulped again:: "Jus' do it, mate! Maybe this "mouth" character can even 'elp ye get back 'ome!"
::Feeling a bit more confident now, Barbossa stepped up to the heavy iron door, and knocked once. It swung open, revealing complete darkness within. The Captain suddenly felt very sick, but there was no turning back now. He carefully took a few steps inside, and the door slammed shut behind him::

Duinorwen couldn't help but chuckle slightly as the human called Jack jumped.Cara muct have begun speaking to him in his head.Always a fun way to fool around with mortals. As silent as ever, she held both bow and arrow in one hand, and, using the other, swiped the flask the man carried, stowing it in her quiver before re-nocking the arrow and walking along,as poised as ever. She didn't know why she did it;perhaps just to prove that she could. They were in full view of Rivendell by the time the mortal noticed, and he didn't seeme happy. He began patting down his pockets, looking around frantically.
"What in the Hell? What did you bloody pixies do to my rum?"

"Rum? Is that what you call the liqour that I can smell wafting off of you from ten feet away? I cannot speak for Duin, but I know I did nothing with your Rum. Though, if you're so desperate for inebriation mortal then here." She turned towards him and pushed a silver, engraved flask into his pocket. "It's Miruvor. made only by the elves and very potent. Perhaps more so than this rum of yours." She said quietly her face scant inches from his. It was her turn to return the favor of invading his personal space bubble. "I'd be very sparing with it if I were you." She grins and runs her forfinger alongside his jawline lightly before turning away and walking towards Rivendell's entrance. She paused to speak with the elf on Guard duty then returned to Collect the others. "The council is already under way." She said to Duin. "Once there we must remain silent untill Elrond acknowledges our presence." She turned towards Jack and laid one hand lightly on his chest. "I'm afraid that means as much as I've enjoyed your vocalizations, there shall be no singing from this point on.... Savvy?" She said in mock sympathetic tones. She was smart enough to pick up the word Savvy had meant understand. She grinned as she pated his cheek then turned to lead the way yet again. She had decided that playing with the mortal Jack was immense fun. He had very interesting reactions, and she had always enjoyed a good reaction. In fact she was intent on giving him just as hard a time as he had given her. At least for as long as she had to remain in his company.
In the background Elizabeth had been watching the goings on with great interest and amusement. She rather liked this Blonde haired female. She was bold, something that was frowned upon by polite society where they came from. She turned to will and whispered in his ear. "Will, do you get the impression that she...." Will placed a finger on his wife's lips.
"Perhaps that's a statement best not finished in Jack's hearing." He grinned knowing his wife was picking up on the Elfs strange behaviour towards Jack. He had to admit he found it highly amusing himself. In fact he wondered if Jack wasn't a little more flustered than he was letting on. Grinning in amusement Will turned to the Auborn haired elf that the other had called Duin. "Pardon me miss, but what is this council everyone is speaking of?" He inquired politely.
"Never mind that, how do I get back to Port Royale. I have duties to attend to!" Norrington interjected loudly. Elizabeth rolled her eyes slightly at him. If there was one thing she was glad of it was that she hadn't ended up having to marry the man. She was certain he would have driven her insane before the honeymoon had been over.
(notes her incredibly long post and grins sheepishly deciding she should let others handle the story for the next couple of posts)

Duinorwen shook her head slightly at Norrington, then turned to the younger man."The council is a meeting of some of the greatest people in Middle-Earth,men and Elves, and even Dwarves of great lineage and great deeds. The great wizard,Mithrandir,is there also, with a Halfling. They have met to discuss events in Middle-Earth,and decide how to deal with the threat of Sauron."
When she said this last name,a certain darkness came over her expression. Will decided that whoever this Sauron was,he was no friend to these Elves.Duin turned then to Elizabeth, a slight smirk on her face."And I would not disagree with your perceptions about Cara. She acts like this with men and elves alike, though not always so much..."
"Are we going in,or shall we just stand out here chatting?"asked Norrington impatiently. The Elf looked rather annoyed, but Cara lead the way into the council area,Duin still bringing up the rear. She put her weapons away now, since this was a council in the name of peace. Not something she was altogether good at...
