Selina set herself agianst the walls of the temple, watching as Michael stirred and a slight smile spread across her lips. "Michael..." she managed to breath as she looked him over curiously. He was obviously beaten to a pulp, and in their current state, Selina knew they couldn't dare take on Jack and his crew. Barbossa, for all she knew, had taken some of the gold himself and ran, but she wasn't about to wait around to find out exactly where the Captain had run off to.
Instead, her full attention turned to their survival, all that mattered, was getting out of here alive with Michael. They would live to fight another day...she knew that for certain. Her green eyes passed over him gently, and she leaned into him, allowing herself to fall into his arms. When Tobbs had entered, she kept her shoulder hidden from Tobbs' view so that she wouldn't take notice of the blade in her shoulder. When Tobbs left Michael locked her into a pssionate kiss which Selina returned with all the strength she could muster. Her hand rested upon the back of his head, but soon there was a sharp pain in her shoulder as the dagger was pulled from it.
Her green eyes flickered and as he spoke his reasoning, she cringed, but placed a soft hand on his cheek. " I know you meant well..." She said softly, taking deep breaths. As he took her outside the temple and allowed her to sit on a bench, she smiled slightly and then nodded. She knew now there was no time to for her to argue. If Michael could do away with the wretched woman, then she would allow it.
AT the moment, Selina was busy, tending to her shoulder and making sure there was enoughe pressure upon the wound to stop the bloodflow. Her eyes passed over him gently as he made to fight Tobbs and somehow, she knew she was no match for Michaels ruthless tactics.
Just when she was going to attempt to stand to reach him, there was a sharp pain in her shoulder again. Selina looked around, tossing her wild, ebony, hair over her shoulder and peering up at a rather large Native. "Get off of me!" She cried and smacked his hand away, but soon, the Native caught her about the neck and pressed a dagger up to it. "MICHAEL!" she called out desperatley, Selina bit her tongue a bit, knowing she was only distracting him from the fight, but she would need his attention.
Selina wasn't afraid of dying, simply losing him. That scared her beyond words at this point, she didn't want another love to slip through her fingers...

*Eric glanced over at her slowly and simply grinned, his brown eyes dancing. Of course he had wanted that to go on! He had pretty much every time they had a moment like that, he felt like he was on one hell of a chase. But as he looked her over lovingly he knew the run would be worth it. He feared how she would react to being with him like that, considering her past. He hoped whatever happened it would mean something to her.
As her voice broke the silence he was torn from thought and glanced around. They were the only members of the crew left and many of the natives were leaving, dismayed that their golden haired goddess has left them. At the mention of Barbossa he shrugged a little as well.* I think he may have. I'm sure he'd of come back if he hadn't. *He stated, watching her as she pushed his hair behind his ear and attempted to stand. He smiled at this display, she always was one to try it herself first. He chuckled a little and shook his head slightly.* Nah I think I'll pass on that. YOU shouldnt be walking on it either you know. *He stated, rising to his own two feet.
He grunted as she yelled at her to get moving and he went over to her.* Ill carry you as far as I can, you really do need to stay off that. *He said and before she could argue with him he scooped her up and glanced around. It was ashame they couldnt take more gold, but he had gotten what he had come for. Even if he did have to carry her all the way back to the Pearl.
He grinned at her and couldn't help but feel eager to get back.* Well, we're off then. *He stated, kissing her forehead as he made his way out of the temple. He still kept a watchful eye, just to be on the safe side and he dissapeared with her into the forest and walked ahead in the direction of the Pearl, actually moving rather swiftly. Some of the crew he noticed had already left while a few others were lingering still in the city.* It'll be nice to get back on the Pearl. I actually kind of missed it. *He laughed.
He figured this was a good sign. He had been worried at first when he finally decided to stay with Evelyn if he could handle being at sea most of the time, now he knew he could. As long as she was there he'd be fine. He took a deep breath and glanced around as they moved on.*

*Tobbs sighed and watched Michael bring out Selina, leaning against the doorway with a look of pure boredom on ehr face. Of course, it was an act. She was rather interested in all the mushiness going on between the two of them. Could use that against him one day.*
*But when he walked over with that challenging look on his face, she trembled slightly. He was hurt, yes. That was an advantage. But he was massive. A weapon all in himself. And as good as she was at tackling and clawing and biting, she didn't think she could take him on...that is, without her trusty twin blades. With those, she vowed she could chop him up in several pieces. They might not be thick and heavy like an axe, but they were long and slender, quick and agile, and she worked them together against an enemy...and her only tie had been with Jack, when she herself was agitated. Now, she was quite ready to fight.*
*Buts till, something puzzled her. Why did this man look at ehr with so much hate? And could he have something to do with that Joseph man? He looked somewhat like him...or was it, that he looked more like Snakes than anything?*
"Tough one, are we? Don' like givin' things up eh? Well, thats unfortunate on yer part. Ah well, your choice mate."
*And as she was readying to make a dash at him, her eyes caught the native as Selina called out for help. She smield. Perfect. She could ask the natives to escort them back to their ship, so they could sail away and heal until next time. Thats what she needed.*
*And soon, her eeys caught more natives and their weapons of gold and steel. They were all standing by the doorways, wondering who was with Jack and her, and who wasn't.*
"Um....'ello all you native people?! Attention please!"
*She had no idea if they could understand her. Fortunately, Pretzeb had sent Zabar-Puzack, a higher classed soldier, she guessed, to translate. He stepped forward now and offered his assistance. Tobbs had made sure Michael was secured too by three or four other natives.*
"Alright...we need all of the really evil and bad looking men, that go after that captain there"
*She pointed to Barbossa whom was visible now on the streets*
"Back at their ship. Its the one that's not as good as the others. Mine and....Zeppobo was it? No Zepporo, well, anyways, the ship with black sails is ours, savvy? So brign all those people back to that ship, got it? Don't 'urt 'em, just return 'em!"
*This was all translated, and soon enough, natives were dragging Barbossa's crew out towards the jungle, clearing them with ehr before they left.*
"And as for these two."
*She pointed to Michael and Selina, who were both surrounded by four natives now. She sighed and stepped really, really close to Michael, her face all of inches away from his, and her tone that of a whispering nature.*
"Whatever problem you 'ave with me mate, you best forget. Because while you SEEM familiar, Ive no notion 'om you are. And don' want one. So forget it, or see me when yer better."
*And with that, she turned and was about to leave, when he yelled up to her as the natives were brigning them both in the jungle.*
"Next time we meet then, I'll MAKE you remember! You can't kill her and expect the son of SNAKES to FORGET! I'll find you..and when I DO..."
*She blinked a few times and turned. Snakes had a son? And she killed his mother? Woaw, newsflash! She was about to speak, vut knew that could be saved for their next meeting. She didn't doubt there would be one.*
*And so, she went back to helping natives identify people, and when Barbossa's crew had all been addressed, she headed for the temple again, ready to make way to the Pearl with a few loads of gold.*
*Bubu-Zar, a soldier, headed in the woods with some of his friends. He had seen Barbossa's crew, well, Tasha and Avery head that way. And he needed them to be brought back to the ship. SO when he spotted them, he fanned his men out and circled them, approaching with a solemn yet threatening look.*
"Your crew has been directed back to their ship. They are there now. Leave with them, or die. You are free to go if you will leave, and we will escort you. If not, there are a dozen men ready to finish you off. Your decision."

Evelyn looked to Eric as he approached her, and before she knew it, he was sweeping her into his arms and she frowned. "Well...I can hobble half the way, savvy?" Evelyn stated with a small nod and leaning her head against his shoulder again. They passed by the rest of the crew discreetly, moving into the shadows of the forest and she found Eric was making good time. "Bloody 'ell Eric, yer eager ta get back." She smiled at him and nudged him as they moved through the jungles quickly.
Evelyn looked away into the thick of it all. It had taken them a few days to reach the city, now it seems they would get to the Pearl much sooner. Eric seemed determined now, they weren't being chased back. Instead, they left for the Pearl in high spirits, and that would do much to boost his energy's to going back as soon as possible.
"Missed the Pearl? Aw mate...yer softenin' my black 'eart with comments like that." She winked, as she tugged on his ear a bit playfully. "I 'ave ta admit, I'd love ta see black sails again..." Evelyn stated, in almost a dreamy sort of voice. Her honeyed eyes scanned the trees and greenery, what was once so frightening and mysterious was practically familiar to her now. "Er...jus' stay away from suspicious lookin' vines, savvy?" Evelyn said as her hand clung about his neck tightly.
"Maybe when we get back...we could er...talk Eric." She said in a low voice, wondering if he had hear it at all. "I jus'...we need ta straighten some thin's out, savvy?" She said gently, smiling trying to reassure him of her good intentions.
Evelyn and Eric stopped at various points in the jungle. Carrying Evelyn all that way wasn't easy, even if he insisted she weighed as light as a feather, to which Evelyn would roll her eyes. They spoke of quite things, things that didn't truly relate to their situation, but it seemed to be a release for them both. By at least speaking of something else, it seemed the danger was further and further away. The sun was slowly sinking by the time they finally reached the outskirts of hte islands and Evelyn's toes touched the dark, gritty beaches. "Ah...the Pearl!" Evelyn said with a broad smile, covering the sun from directly hitting her face as it slowly sank below the horizon.
She lay her head against Eric's shoulder as she gazed out at the Black Pearl, and sighed heavily. "Finally...home." She stated, looking to ERic carefully as she spoke these words. In truth, Evelyn found home in him. There was no denying that without him the Pearl would feel a bit emptier, it was only her strong love for the sea that drove her.
NOw, it was so much more and she took a seat upon the beaches, as if expecting someone to join them before they could take the boats back to the Pearl, and as she sat there, she looking out at the glimmering waters, then back at Eric. This one moment was simple and yet so beautiful...Eric's hair dancing sideways across his face, his hands in his pockets, and her own curly locks passing in front of her eyes. "Now...I guess all we can do is wait Eric." she sighed heavily.
Leaving Tobbs and the rest wasn't an easy thing to do, but Evelyn figured with the way she was, she would probably do more harm then good. And then there was no arguing with Eric really. That man seemed cemented on keeping her out of as much trouble as he could. He glanced down at her and smiled and she only returned it warmly. "I hope ye can love the Pearl as much as I do someday Eric..." Evelyn sighed slowly, as she lay her head back and fell back into the warm sands. It was peaceful, and with Eric so close and the Pearl on the horizon...everything was perfect...

*Micahel was angry. And scared. Angry that the natives onterfered. Scared for Selina.*
"You harm her and YOU'LL DIE!"
*He said so strangely deadly, and as he watched Tobbs leave, he burned with hatred. He quickly made his way next to Selina, eying the man with the dagger furiously as he released his grip on her and backed awya. Then, slinging his arm around her waist, he began the walk back into the jungle, wondering how far these natives would escort them too.*
"Selina...I'm...sorry...I should have been more careful..."
*He held his eyes elsewhere, a bit ashamed he hadn't killed Tobbs and rescued Selina. He shrugged a bit, saying further on as they neared the sandy beach.*
"You know...I grabbed a few golden things that caught my attention...we'll still get some of our treasure then, eh?"
*He was trying not to stay all in a bad mood. And he was almost achieving that. And as they suddenly had the ocean in view, with their ship and the rest of the crew that was loading up on the boats in sight, he sighed and led Selina onwards, preparing to help her in one of the boats.*
"Well, that wasnt ENTIRELY unsuccessful..."

*Eric glanced down at her as she said she'd hobble half the way and he nodded and reluctantly agreed. He'd prefer it if she stayed off it as long as possible but he knew he couldn't carry her back the ENTIRE way, it was simply too far. None the less he was still booking it and he snickered a little as Evelyn commented on it.* Yeah and what's your point? *He winked.
He wished that bridge would have held out because now they'd have to go around again and it would just take that much longer to get back to the Pearl. He was eager to get back to Port Royal as well. He needed to let Elinor know that she couldn't have him and he of course needed to gather his things. Especially the necklace that Evelyn had given him a year ago, which was still currently under the couch.
He smiled as she told him to stay away from suspcious vines and he looked her over, a sly look in his eye.* I still cant believe you'll take on guys twice your size without second thought but you see a snake and nearly pass out. *He laughed warmly.* I like this vulnerable side of you though. *He winked. And then she said the infamous words that men never know what to make of..."we could talk".
For a moment his heart skipped a beat. Was she changing her mind about him staying? Did she have something to ask him or to tell him? When she smiled he took it to mean a good thing and he smiled back, though he fidgeted a little.* Okay, we can talk. *He said, stopping now and again to rest his arms and back. Even though she was light, after a while it still seemed to wear on his muscles.
As the sun sank they had reached the beach again and he placed her on her feet, blinking through the sunlight at the Pearl bobbing in the distance. A large smile spread over his face and he took a deep breath. They made it back quick enough. He slipped his arm about her waist as she leaned her head on his shoulder. He tipped his own head to rest it on hers and he sighed in content.
As she said that she was home he looked down at her, notcing she was staring at him intently and he smiled warmly, his gaze melting into hers.* Yeah....home. *He stated, finding that the words actually felt natural coming off his tongue. Maybe because he was directing them more at her than the Pearl. He shoved his hands in his pockets as he watched the sun sink behind the horizon. His hair blew about his face but he didnt seem to notice. Right now, this moment seemed perfect.
He smiled down at her as she laid down and lingered in his place a moment as she spoke again. After a while he laid down beside her and rested his head on her chest, gazing out at the sea.* I alreayd love the Pearl more than anything in my life, though its not the ship. *He said, looking up at her a moment with a grin and then laid his head against her again. He closed his eyes and sighed peacefully.* But Im sure Ill love the ship too, as long as you're there. *He whispered. Without her he knew he couldn't live on the ship.
He was staying for her and even though he knew he was better on land he wouldnt let that stop him from following his heart. No, this time wherever she went he was going too. He was eager for the others to arrive so that they could all get on the Pearl and be on their way again.*
ooc: Evy, if im not on when you get on you can give me a call or something and tell me to get my arse online lol and ill post with ya. If you cant call Ill try to get online around 8pm your time k but im not positive?

Selina looked to Michael as he left his battle with Tobbs and instead went to her side. She spat bitterly seeing Tobbs leave and cursed underneath her breath in her native tongue. Looking up at the temple, she saw two figures seemingly, hobbling their way to the forests, and simply a look over the woman's hair dictated to her exactly who they were. "Eric and Evelyn..." Selina said bitterly as Michael wrapped an arm about her waist and then helped her go off into the jungles. She sighed heavily and a small growl ame from somewhere deep within out of frustration.
When Michael spoke she turned her attention back to him and lifted a brow. "Michael, I am not your responsibility." She told him sternly. Her fingers pulled his face towards her more sternly and she looked him in the eyes. "Do you understand me Michael? I can take care of myself, do not shame yourself needlessly." She said with a strong nod of her head. She embraced him tightly then, as if in reasurrance of her affection for him. She didn't want him to feel terrible about this...it was Jack's crew that needed to feel pain...they would all pay...even if it wasn't today...
As they neared the ships and she heard him mention of the gold he had gathered, she smiled broadly. "Well then, I suppose you can say this voyage was not a complete waste." She said. "But I can think of other things I have found along the way that have fulfilled the purpose of this voyage." Selina said with a sly smile, and carefully making her way inside one of the crews' ships.
Barbossa was no doubt either back on the ship, or was making his way back currently. As the small boat was being rowed back to the larger ship, Selina's eyes remained fixed on the island. They narrowed and a burning hatred grew within. Simply knowing that the Pearl, Jack, Tobbs, Evelyn, Eric, and the rest of Jack Sparrow's disgusting lot were alive was enough to make her skin crawl. They were, quite literally, a pain and she shook her head.
The next time, she would be more ruthless. There was no room for error, she knew this. At least now she had an acomplice at her side...one that would offer much more than simply a partner in crime, and this alone made her future seem a bit more enjoyable...
"Michael," Selina said softly, staring at him, her green eyes wearied from the trip and blood clearly staining the wrapping she had used for her shoulder. Her eyes blurred but she managed to keep herself sitting upright. "I'll kill Tobbs for you...I promise." She stated, shifting her eyes softly from the ship ahead, back to him. Her eyes were deadly and Selina snarled a bit, but let it go for the moment. She spat and sighed again. She needed some rest, tomorrow was another day...

Evelyn looked to Eric as he lay next to her and she could sense the weight of him on her. She wove her fingers through his hair gently and smiled. When he spoke she stopped weaving her fingers in it and looked down at him curiously and lifted a brow. What did he mean? When he looked up at her with a grin she smirked at him, seeming to get the idea and her heart pounded. More out of guilt than anything else really.
When he spoke again she almost winced, but sighed. She would love him too, more than anything, and she expected they'd finally truly be tested on whether or not they could stand living with eachother at all and the thought brought a mischievious grin to her face. "Ye know, now tha' I think 'bout it. It might no' be entirely safe fer us ta be in such small quarters around eachother at all times." She said as her eyes stared out at the seas and watched the waves sparkle.
"An'...an' jus' so ye know Eric...I'll never change. I mean...I'll never want ta leave a ship...ye know tha', right?" she asked him lifting a brow. Her honeyed eyes looked up at the pale blue skies and she breathed in the cool, salty, air. Her hand mindlessly brushed calmly over his brow repeatedly, softly smoothing over his brow. There was a small silence then. A silence that was only filled by the gently crashing of the waves, of gulls calling, and of simply the feel of Erics' weight over her.
It was still amazing to her, how this all happened. A year ago she never expected to meet someone like him. Then, much less begin to soften for him. Now here she was...and she never expected it, but how she loved it...
Her fingers brushed into his hair again and she kissed him gently on the head. There was no need for words now...everything was spoken for in these few precious moments...

*Eric closed his eyes as Evelyn ran her fingers through his hair. He took a deep breath of the warm, salty air and the corners of his lips rose gently. As she ceased his eyes opened half way and he watched the Pearl tip side to side in the gentle waves, a dark figure against the blazing sunset.
He laughed softly as she said it might not be so safe for them to be in close quarters together and he shrugged a little. She was probably right but hell, he wasn't going to say anything. As she stated she would never change he nodded, but didn't say anything as her hand brushed his brow. He didn't want her to change, he didn't expect her to either. He knew she would never be happy in a place like Port Royal, but he on the otherhand knew he could go either way. And he was glad to do so as long as she was always on the end of the road he chose.
As silence engulfed them, he closed his eyes again. He didn't want to spoil anything with words that were already being said simply by the way they were lying here together. Finally after sometime he sighed heavily and sat up. He glanced over his shoulder at her, pushing a stray ringlet from her face and he smiled at her.* I suppose we should get to the ship now, you should rest up. *He said with a nod, glancing around. He rose to his feet and dusted off his pants. A moment later he helped her up carefully and helped her hobble over to one of the boats.
After a bit of akward situating they were both in the small rowboat and headed back towards the Pearl. He glanced over his shoulders as if he expected the crew to arrive at any moment. They made their way to the infamous ship and Eric glanced up at the railing.* Mark, are you up there mate? Could you give us a hand? *He asked.
Mark glanced down from the crows nest and raised a brow at the sound of Erics voice. But he hopped down and quickly offered his help. It was a struggle to get Evelyn up on the deck but after a time they achieved it.*[/color]
Eric smiled at Mark as he scooped the lass up again.* Thanks *he said and then carried her to her cabin, placing her beneath the sheets and then he kissed her forehead.* Goodnight, Evelyn. *He smiled warmly, his eyes lingering upon her a moment. Then he reluctanly turned and left to his own cabin where he flopped down restlessly in his bed, struggling to find sleep of his own.*

Evelyn looked to Eric as he stood. He was right, the sooner they got back on the ship, the better. Evelyn was glad to be finally leaving the island, but she turned and looked over her shoulder, hoping that she would see Jack and the rest of the crew soon. Far off in the distance, she could make out another ship seemingly already sailing away...Barbossa...
Evelyn's thoughts burned at the thought of him. Of what he had done to her. She shook her head. The man truly was insane and she had been witness to a few of his odd ways. They were quite disturbing really. Looking down at her ankle as she hobbled along with Eric towards the boats she sighed heavily. He would get his payback for what he had done, and even for what he had attempted to do.
When they reached the ship she muttered incoherently under her breath, curses were only slightly audible as she was lifted back on board the Pearl. "Bloody invalid..." she said as she was assisted aboard and tossed a barely there appreciative smirk towards Mark. Simply having her feet back on the decks of the Pearl was good enough. It was her home, it was all she knew really, and she knew there was never any way she'd leave it...
Looking to Eric, she hoped he understood this, but believed he wouldn't dare ask her to leave either way. As he took her to her room, he placed her under the sheets and she took in a deep, relaxed breath. Her eyes shifting about her room as if searching for any sort of odd overturned thing, but she noted that she had been brought here, instead of to his room. In truth, Evelyn had probably had better sleep in his room with him, than she had had in this room for over a year now.
When he bade her goodnight she slowly closed her eyes as if that was exactly what she would do, but as the door closed, her eyes shot open once more. The bleak loneliness of the room very apparent now. As she turned to the wall, she found herself curling against it for comfort. Instead of Eric's warm presence, there was nothing, and it was an odd feeling.
As she closed her eyes softly, the sense of comfort the Pearl DID afford her seemed to surround her now, and the small shaft of light that beamed in from the porthole was now waning as the evening closed in around them. Velvety curtains of a twilight blue were settling in and the small diamonds she had come to love were now flickering in place just above the horizon.
As she slept however, her hand seemed to reach out for something...grasping for it but not reaching a thing. She tossed, turned on her side, paced her room for a bit, removed her boots, and hummed a small tune but nothing seemed to work. Instead, she found herself curling against the wall, her covers being pulled tightly around her, and her brows furrowed as if she remained unconsciously concerned about a certain presence she could sense wasn't there....

*Eric pulled the covers up to his chest for a moment as he gazed up blankly at the ceiling and then kicked them back off again. With a heavy sigh he turned over on his side and shut his eyes. He had an overwhelming sense of lonliness that was preventing any kind of sleep from coming. He smiled slightly, knowing this was because Evelyn wasn't in there with him and he sort of liked the feeling, it only proved to him that much more how much he loved her.
He found it funny really, how she had ever ended up in his life like this. He never pictured himself with a pirate lass such as herself. He'd always pictured more of the Elinor type in his life, he was more then happy that it didn't work out that way. Evelyn was different from every woman he had ever known and he loved her for this.
He sat up slowly and threw his legs over the edge of his bed, gazing intently as his closed door. He glanced around the small dark room and his grin grew. He was tired, and he wanted sleep, and he wanted to ease this lonley feeling . He rose to his feet and opened the door, peeking out it. He saw no one and slipped off to Evelyns room. He opened the door quietly and smiled, lingering there a moment as he gazed at her.
He sighed fondly and went over to her. He stooped over and kissed her cheek, brushing the hair from her face and he smiled at her. Carefully he scooped her up and kissed her forehead, carrying her back to his own room where he placed her in his bed beneath the covers. He slipped in beside her and pulled her into him, wrapping his arms about her.* I couldn't sleep without you with me. *He whispered, looking down at her as his warm eyes danced about her face.*

Evelyn tossed a bit. It was odd and she wasn't quite sure what she could do to remedy this. Her eyes stared at the wall, a heavy feeling of unease settling over her. She closed her eyes and flashes of Barbossa's yellowed grin crossed her mind. As she attempted to shake them away there was soon the feel of lips upon her cheek and instinctively, she grew startled and turned with a jump. Her eyes widened. "Eric?" she asked curiously, lifting a brow and preparing to sit up. "What's wrong?" she asked with concern.
Before he could answer however, she was scooped up and she quickly gripped him tightly, again looking down and realizing just how tall he was...again. She was then taken to his room and she lifted her brows. "Er...Eric mate...sorry but now's jus' not the time..." She chuckled as she was placed down gently. She carefully adjusted herself, instinctively moving her ankle away from him, just in case he moved over and damaged it in anyway.
When he spoke she smiled and curled into his embrace. She looked into his eyes gently and gave a soft laugh. "Ye know, yer lucky I didn' 'ave any bloody blades on me when ye came in there or ye'd 'ave been dead Eric." Her hand came to his face as she smoothed over his cheek and placed a few strands of his hair back, her breathing was calm and steady now.
Her honey eyes shifted to the doorway and she glanced it over. "Ye know what? Move outta the bloody way, I'm sleepin' next to the edge...savvy?" she told him with a laugh but with a rather serious ring to her tone. "I mean, if yer gonna have the bloody indecency ta take me outta my room, fine, but ye should at LEAST let me have this side of the bed." Evelyn teased as she moved over him carefully and halfway shoved him to the side closest to the wall. It was simply a comfort for Evelyn. To have the door closest to her. In case anyone were to barge in on them, they would have to get through her first before they attempted to hurt Eric.
An arm hung lazily over the side of the bed as she looked about his room and she bit her lip. "That Barbossa..." she sighed heavily. " I can' help but feel we'll be in need ta keep our gaurd up from now on Eric." Evelyn stated. "An' that Selina...no doubt her bloody Michael'll be lookin' fer vengeance." Evelyn rolled her eyes. "The bloody wench...can' even fight her own bloody battles..." Evelyn muttered and spat a bit. "I swear if I get my hands on that woman I'll..." she began but then turned her head around to look at Eric.
"Ah...who knows mate." she shrugged as she lay her head upon his shoulder and draped her arm across him. " 'S long as I don' see them any time soon, I'll be 'appy. But..." her brows furrowed then as she thought of Eric and Michael. Eric isn't ready for this. He's never lived this sort of life. Her eyes darted to him. "you. I'm sorry this 'appened to ye...all of this. I mean...figures...ye come with me on ONE bloody voyage an' now yer mos' likely a marked man." She laughed, but deep down, her heart beat quickened. Eric was known to Barbossa's crew very well now. Especially that Michael.
He was ruthless to say the least and it made her angry that he would have to deal wtih the man in the future. Especially if the feud between herself and Selina continued...

*Eric simply grinned and chuckled a bit as she said now was not the time. He noticed her move her ankle away and he made mental note not to shift too much during the night. She'd had enough pain on this voyage, he felt she deserved a bit of peace and quiet. He laughed warmly and shrugged a little.* Yeah I didn't even think about the fact I just risked my life a moment ago just to fetch you. *He winked, though he meant it.
Her past and her lifestyle had given her a reason for quick reactions and he couldn't blame her for that. He closed his eyes as her hand moved over his face and he held her tighter. As she spoke again his eyes opened sleepily and he rolled his eyes and laughed.* You and being so damn picky all the time. *He chuckled as she half climed over him, half pushed him to the other side of the bed. He turned so his back was against the wall and he continued to gaze at her.
He grinned mischeviously.* Ah you know you liked what I did so stop complaining. *He said, his grin growing. He slipped an arm back around her waist and placed the other arm behind his head as he closed his eyes. He felt better having her in here, as if he had more control over protecting her if something should happen. He rested his head against her, savoring her presence.
He nodded his head as she mentioned Barbossa and his crew and then his eyes opened again and he propped himself up on one elbow, looking her over with a furrowed brow.* Don't appologize, Evelyn. There's nothing to appologize about. You were in trouble and I was going to do anything it took to get you back. I mean it wasn't the funnest voyage in the world. *He stated, thinking over what Michael had done to him and he shook his head slightly.* But it was worth it in the end. And besides its kind of interesting being a marked man. *He laughed.
Then he kissed her and laid down again, yawning deeply.* Try and get some rest, Evelyn. You'll feel better if you do. *He whispered. He felt slightly helpless in that he couldn't help her with the pain anymore, he'd done all he could and now it just had to heal on its own.
He knew they would run across Barbossa and his crew again, but this time he'd be more prepeared. He'd fight Michael to the death if he had to. And he'd be damned if he'd let them take off with Evelyn again. He hated the twisted Captain for what he had done to her. He opened his eyes slightly to look at her and he hoped with all he had that life would better for her now.
He knew that things would be different in his own life, but he didn't fear the change. In fact he embraced it. He was happier now than he had been in years and he felt things he never thought he would feel again, only with Evelyn these things were much stronger. He smiled, and closed his eyes again. *

Avery smiled as Tasha came around. She seemed to be getting better at every moment and he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. He couldn't understand how she could have this effect on him so quickly, but he was starting to give into it.
His heart skipped a beat when she started to talk. She asked some questions he did not want to answer, right then. He did not want to deliver bad news to her while she was hurt. He was afraid it would hurt her, upset her.
Arms tightened around her protectively, when a group of natives approached them. They were told to leave or die. Avery looked up at the man with a feirce expression on his face. He was not one to give in easily. A shifting of the woman in his arms, reminded him that not only his life was in danger. He stood slowly, lifting Tasha bridal style in his arms. "We'll go, but we don't need an esco't!" He turned and stepped into the shadows, quickly disappearing into the jungle. He paused in the shadow of a tree a little way off and whispered to Tasha to be silent, hoping that the natives would not come looking for them.
He would leave for the ship as soon as he knew the path was clear.

Rhys watched as her brother left, confused and slightly shaken. He had asked her to leave her new family, to come with him. And he had left quickly. Something had gone wrong. She had seen the worry plane in his eyes. Her eyes followed him until he disappeared into the shadows.
She was glad to have seen him, but had wished he had not left so soon, or been so confusing. She was brought out of her thoughts as Sarah approached her and started to ask questions. She smiled and answered her cheerfully, "Do I know him? Am I feeling extra merciful? Well yes on both accounts. I do know him, and i am feeling merciful otherwise i might have given him a good slap for following me again." Her smile widdened and she finished, "That was my brother, Avery."
