::Barbossa opened his eyes and looked around. Through the dim light, it was hard to make out his surroundings; it wasn't until he woke up a bit more that he remember where he was::
::He stood up quickly, mentally cursing himself for having dozed off. Not only did he have a captive, but he didn't fully trust the man he'd put in charge of watching her. For all he knew, they could be halfway back to the Caribbean with a shipload of HIS gold by now!::
::He growled, clenching his fists as he started forward in the dark. Now he was not only alone, but lost as well! Then, suddenly, his foot came into contact with something soft. A muffled grunt brought Barbossa back to his senses::
"Luis??" ::Morning was fast approaching, and Barbossa could already make out some of the features of the man sleeping at his feet. He called to him again. Luis didn't wake up. Losing his temper, Barbossa kicked him in the side:: "GET UP!"
::Luis toppled over with a sharp cry of pain, cursing loudly as he sat back up. Barbossa frowned:: "Shut up an' 'elp me look fer Evelyn."
::They searched for a few minutes until Luis finally stumbled across her. It seemed she had passed out, still tied to the tree, her ankle looking more swollen than it had the day before. Barbossa suddenly felt a strange burning guilt in the pit of his stomach, but quickly brushed it aside::
"Luis, wake 'er up. Mornin's comin', and we need ta get ta El Dorado soon..." ::He began to survey the area for signs of Jack as he heard Luis slap Evy once, twice, three times to get her to wake up. He clenched his fist, but didn't try to stop him::

*Tobbs muttered and realized they really should be going. They had to get to Evy, she needed to know she'd be safe, and was safe, and she wanted to kick Barbossa and crew's arse for even thinking about harming her. But that meant leaving.*
*She began thinking things over herself. Jack had been the first one she'd ever loved in her life. Ever. And so this really was a big 'woaw' for her. Everything that had happened since she tackled him unexpectantly in the jungle. Something just came over her. And she was happy she finally did something about it.*
*But she didn't want to think about everything and sort it all out right now. So she focused on Jack and how great she felt next to him, so loved, so protected, so comforted. She sighed in a bit of disappointment when he began sitting up, but she followed, opening ehr eyes slowly and blinking a few times.*
"Right...Barbossa and Evelyn...'ave to go to El Dorado..."
*She began straightening herself up, occasionally glancing over at Jack. When she was finished and had the last button she'd been fidgeting with secure, she stood and stretched, glancing at the sun now and wondering how long they'd be until El Dorado. It was close, she guessed.*
"Well then...I'm ready as I'll ever be in such a place..."
*She smirked as she cast her view around at the jungle and then back to Jack, gesturing him to stand and wrapping her arms about him when he did.*
*One final moment before everything went crazy with Barbossa. That's all she wanted. And so, without saying it, but showing it in her eyes, she kissed him, a sample of what they'd shared that night before. And then, pulling away, she let one hand trail down into his and took the other back to her side, ready to set out.*

Evelyn stirred a bit as she felt a firm slap on her face. Evelyn shook her head a bit, her eyes attempting to focus as her eyes fell upon Luis. "Bloody 'ell..." Evelyn groaned as she pulled her right ankle in but it only throbbed with pain. She was smacked a couple more times and she shook her head violently then. "GAH! I'm BLOODY AWAK ALREADY!" Evelyn shouted at Luis angrily. "Ye don' have ta go bloody overboard." She growled.
Her eyes passed over Luis and then stared up at Barbossa. She narrowed her eyes at him as Luis lifted her onto her feet and then Eve buckled. "GAH!" She groaned as she leaned against the tree . Her honeyed eyes scanned the trees. "We're not far now..." Evelyn said lightly as she cringed and bit her lip.
She sighed heavily in dissappointment. Eric had filled her dreams during the previous night and now she had woken up to her nightmare again. Where WAS Jack and his crew? Why were they taking so long? Evelyn couldn't help but feel a bit angry that no sign of them had been seen but supposed she couldn't really blame them either...
"Get moving!" Luis shouted at her angrily, shoving her forward and then giving a sharp laugh as Evelyn toppled to the ground. "Stupid woman..." Luis shook his head as his oily grin spread across his face and then made to lift her up again. As he bent over however, a strong kick came his way and Evelyn's foot made contact with Luis' knee, making him yelp in pain.
Evelyn struggled and sat up. "Ye bloody BASTARD..." Evelyn barked at him. "Why don' ye hit me when 'm NOT bound and bloody injured?" She hissed at him as she stood and leaned against the tree again. "Yer both bloody dispicable...ye know tha'?" Evelyn told the Captain as she spat at his feet a bit. Evelyn might get banged up from these two, but she'd be damned if they were going to treat her like dirt and then not get anything in return.

*Eric glanced back over as Rhys joined them and he smiled. So it seemed the crew would follow him afterall, which was a good thing since he knew he was screwed if he went alone and fought being as beat up as he was. His dark eyes went back over to Roux as he spoke and he nodded.* He'll regret that and much more once I get my hands on him. *He hissed between clenched teeth. He shuttered to think about what she was going through.
He took the sword from the man and slipped it through his belt. In all honesty Eric had pathetic sword skills but if he needed to he'd use it. Using his hands was another story. He was excellent when it came to bare handed fights and all out brawls, but he was rather clumsy with a sword.
He followed the directions Roux was giving, hoping the man was right since he hadn't a clue himself where the city was. The increasing amount of gold items they were stumbling across gave him hope and his heart felt a little lighter. They were so close now he could almost taste it.*

::Barbossa came back to the clearing to find Evelyn struggling to stand on her broken ankle, with Luis standing nearby laughing. Normally, he would have found this scene just as amusing, but not now. He clenched his feet and stepped forward, grabbing Evy around the waist and lifting her over his shoulder. He cast a hard glare at Luis::
"Do somethin' like this again, an' I'll 'ave yer head. Underst'nd?" ::Without waiting for a reply, he took off the direction they had been going the night before, pausing ocasionally to make sure they were on the right path. Before long, they reached a large waterfall that seemed to cut off any further travel. Barbossa narrowed his eyes::
"Now w'at...? ::Luis seemed to grow impatient, but Evy merely scoffed::
"It's PAST the waterfall... as in you have to go UNDER it...."
::Bossa smirked:: "Yer sarcasm is not appreciat'd, Miss Pearl. Don' make me follow through on me threat ta punish ye." ::He nodded for Luis to go first through the water fall, into the tunnel on the other side::

Evelyn looked over at the waterfall as Luis made his way towards it eagerly. The waterfall was enormous and the great rumbling roar could be heard for miles around. Were she in better company, she would have appreciated the beauty of it all, but now, she was in the worst hands imaginable. Barbossa shifted her upon his shoulder and she could tell she was beginning to tire the Captain out. "Regrettin' breakin' my bloody ankle yet?" Evelyn asked him with a heavy sigh and rolling her eyes at him. "Ye didn' have ta bloody do that..." Evelyn scowled as she looked back into the jungles. Around the bottom of the waterfall a large river sprouted and ran downwards, streaming into a deep gorge.
Evelyn's eyes scanned it all and she grew nervous as a flock of parrots made their way out of the trees and flew overhead. "Wha'..." Evelyn began slowly, taking a gulp nervously as she spoke. "What are ye gonna do ta me?" Evelyn asked him reluctantly. "I mean, when this is all over?" She asked him lifting a brow curiously.
Suddenly a loud shout rang out in an echo. "OVER HERE! QUICK!" It was Luis and Barbossa seemed to dismiss her comments and soon they were heading under the great watefall, becmoinga bit soaked in the process. The cave stretched for a long time, taking a few minutes till the first sign of light was showing but when it did Evelyn's jaw dropped.
"El Dorado..." Evelyn whispered. The cold, moist draft from the cave seemed to vanish suddenly as warm light shined upon them, the first few rays of the sun was beaming over the horizon. As the sun touched upon the city before her, not a word was spoken. They stood at the top of a stairs that led down into a large courtyard which consisted of smaller homes, but ahead, all the eye could see were towering temples of pure, glinting, glittering, gold. Statues of jade seemed scattered about the abandoned city and temples were visible. All around the temples were towering trees, but they were nothing to the grandeur of the city.
A river ran through the city, culminating in a waterfall which poured over the side of a lare square statue depicting a ghastly looking god. Everything was big, beautiful, and everything seemed to glitter of gold.
Evelyn never saw ANYTHING like it before and she couldn't help but stare at it all. The sun invaded her eyes and Evelyn blinked, turning around and looking back into the cold cave that had led them here. This was a sight to behold indeed, and she sighed disappointedly at the fact that she wouldn't be able to enjoy it here...
"C'mon Eric...hurry mate..." Evelyn managed to whisper, as the three rogues descended down the glittering golden, stone steps towards the courtyard and El Dorado.

(moving along.......for the sake of sanity and needing a bit of violence...I'm gonna move Jack's crew and get a good fight started....)
::Jack held onto Tobbs a bit longer then finally pulled away just enough to let her know they had to be moving.::
::And move they did. Jack strode back into camp, not saying all that muhc about the past night's events, in fact he was rather calm, and let his anger take over from this point.::
::Making sure his crew was packd and ready to be on the move, Jack cut a path through the forest. He had noted at once Rhys, Roux and Eric were gone. No doubt moving ahead of them, and Jack's eyes tracked their path::
::suddenly Jack's eyes caught sight of a glimmer of gold. He blinked and bent to scoop it up. It was a small gold coin. Jack eyed it a while then handed it over to Will:: "Here mate.....keep this...."
::and he kept walking, using his sword to hack away at the vines and bushes surrounding them. Then he heard someone up ahead and ran forward. Eric, Roux and Rhys::
"What, going off to have all the fun before us?" He asked them as he came up behind Eric.:: "Honestly Eric.....I promised ye we'd get Evelyn back and that's what we'll do mate...." He paused then added. "We're a crew, mate, and we don't keep to the code all the time....ye never have to worry bout handling things like this on yer own...."
::Then he smiled at them all and looked at his crew:: "If this city is all Gold....mate...I know we'll be rich...and it's tempting but right now....we get Evelyn....the gold will always be there......"
::he smiled faintly then gestured ahead:: "El dorado should be around here....up ahead..." And he took out the map gave it a look over and then moved on::
::They came to the waterfall and Jack frowned at it a while, then turned to Will:: "Fancy going over it?" He laughed then waded forward to investigate.::
::Barbossa's crew hadalready been here. Jack could see footprints around the area, then he glanced back at the waterfall. According to the map El Dorado was past the waterfall......well...they couldn't go over it...meant it had to be under it....::
::Jack eyed the water.....then went to looked at the side of the waterfall. There he found a opening...a cave maybe.::
"This way!" Jack called and waited for his crew to gather around him. He peered inside and then looked at his crew. "I'm sure this is the way in...." He whispered, and strode foreward, and looked around, letting his eyes adjust to the dim light.::
::When they finally did he could see the rest of the crew around him, blinking and looking around as well. Jack motioned forward and walked through his eyes spotting a tiny sliver of sunlight up ahead. This was it...::

*Tobbs smiled and reluctantly drew away from Jack. She followed alongside him, occasionally sighing a bit as they entered the camp. She had an odd little thoughtful smile, and she did seem a bit out of it.*
*Basically, she was being led by Jack since she was distracted in her own whirl of thoughts. She had loved the night before, would always cherish it, and it even set those little tingles loose just to think about it.*
*But now, as they paused to catch up with Eric and the others, she was slightly regretting the city of gold. She knew what would come with it. Barbossa. And that meant danger for the crew, and of course, Jack. And she knew she couldn't live without him. Honestly, no joke. He was what kept her from slipping into some sort of rage and depression again.*
*So she hesitated going on. Tried thinking of ways to stall them, or draw them off. But she knew they ahd to rescue Evy. She had to beat the crap out of Michael and Selina for even thinking of taking part in capturing her good friend.*
*Pressing on with that thought in mind, Tobbs blinked a few times as she sensed their presence in some sort of waterfall cave thingie. It made her thoughtfulness drift off and her senses alert. It was time to kick arse.*
*Taking her stride next to Jack again, glancing at him once and seeing his set determination, a nervous sort of feeling rose within her. She had to make sure the crew was alright, and Evy was safe, and Jack would go uninjured. But how she'd find time to fend for herself even, she didn't know, and really didn't care at this point...*

::Jack walked forward and had a small heart attack right there.::
::Almost just died from sheer shock.::
::Gold...so much gold.....gold everywhere....gold gold gold.........::
::So much gold Jack wasn't sure he'd be able to handle himself. Jack's heart fluttered out...and took a full minute to begin beating again.::
:::Attmepting to speak wasn't a option right now. He got out a half sqeak that sounded very much like a mouse being stomped on... His hand twitched once as he stared open mouthed into the city. ::
:His left eye twitched.::
"That's...........interestin'......." He whispered staring around. temple, houses, statues, fountains, pyramids...all gold....to see an ENTIRE city made of gold just was too much..and it wasn't as if it was a small city either...it was enormous....::
::The shock was still setting in, and Jack couldn't quite make himself move yet. Really couldn't move yet.....it was too much for his mind to handle so he closed his eyes to give himself some time...he wanted to run at the nearest temple and begin hacking away at the gold::
::When he opened his eyes he stared again and sort of let out a nervous chuckle that slowly turned into a hysterical laugh....and he quickly calmed himself:: "Next time we're in Tortuga.....drinks are on me mates...."
::Then he peered around, trying to regain some control:: "So where is Barbossa then?" ::he cleaned his sword and looked around carefully::#nosmileys#nosmileys

Mark smiled at the thought of little Eric riding on a horse with his family. He was gald the chap had some happy memories...for they seemed far and in between for this pour soul. He eyed Eric as he stood up and anounced he was leaving. He walked along with the man.
"You will not go alone mate...I'm coming with you."
Mark said with a fire in his eye. He didn't know Evy all that well...hell the only member of the crew he knew more about than their name was Eric. He followed the small group through the jungle. He began to have a sinking feeling in his stomache. At the mention of the city coming up soon he felt even worse. He would go as far as to find Evy but then he would turn back. He wasn't going to die for treasure he wouldn't be able to use. Besides he was worried about his mother. He'd left her longer than this before, but that was back when her health wasn't failing...in fact he just hoped that when he got home she would still be there waiting for him.
Suddenly Jack and the others managed to catch up to them. He was startled for a moment. He noticed he had been ready to draw his gun. He moved away from the captain and moved off to the edge of the group.
Like an oasis rising out from the desert it appeared. He had to admit that he was in completey awe. At the magnifisance of the city and in the fact that he was still there. But he hadn't found Evy yet. He looked everywhere. Everything was made of gold. Fountains, buildings, everything. He wouldn't have been surpirsed if the inhabitants were made of gold. Then the thought struck him. ' Where is Barbossa and Evy?' He began to feel uneasy again. He drew both his pistols and eyed the city carefully. He moved over to the captain.
"Does something seem a little out of place to you Jack? I would have thought Barbossa would have beaten us here...I think we should wait on the outskirts of the city untill they come...if they know we are here they will kill Evy in an instant."

*Eric glanced over his shoulder at the sounds of the rest of the crew approaching them. He eyed Jack a moment as the man spoke to him and he shrugged a little.* I know you did, but I couldn't sit there any longer. *He stated and then looked between Roux and Rhys and he smiled slightly, glancing back at the Captain once more.* I know, thats why I didnt go alone, I had company. *He stated, giving the two who had been the first to follow him a pat on the shoulder.
Never the less he was glad the entire crew was on their way again. And he figured at least the crew would probably still get their gold considering that Barbossa had probably taken Evelyn all the way into the city by now. He doubted the man would leave her anywhere else or she'd be too easy to find....or escape if he let her live.
As they trudged on Eric blinked at the sight of the large waterfall. It was gorgeous and powerful, though the footprints about the area kept him very distracted. He observed some of them in hopes of seeing smaller feet, a womans shoe size but noticed there weren't any. He frowned and felt a pang of panic seize his heart. Were they carrying her then or had they indeed left her somewhere? He shook the thought away as Jack urged them all on through a cave behind the waterfall.
He crept through the dim lighting, searching desperatly for signs of Evelyn. He was so involved in his search that when they came out the other side and the city was revelealed before them he didn't even notice. He glanced around, drawing out the sword Roux had given him and he sighed heavily. He overheard Mark and he went over to the man.* They're here already mate, their footprints were outside the waterfall....and I can feel it. *He said and decended down into the lavish courtyard, glancing around feverishly for Evelyn*

*Will had just sat down again with Elizabeth when he noticed the crew was getting ready to make way again. A few of them had already left and he smiled a little, noting Eric was one of them, and he knew exactly why. He rose to his feet and helped Elizabeth to hers as he trotted along to catch up to Jack. His wife followed close behind, not wanting to go back to the Pearl.
As they hurried along Jack scooped up a small golden coin and handed it to him. Will looked it over a moment and slipped it in his pocket. As they walked along he held on tightly to Elizabeths hand, glancing down at her stomach every now again and grinning, shaking his head. It was still all hard to believe.
They came upon the large waterfall and Will snickered at Jack.* As tempting as that sounds I'll have to pass. *He replied. Elizabeth laughed and looked at the beautiful waterfall with awe filled eyes. It was certainly a sight to behold. He left Elizabeths side for a moment and waded forward with Jack, glancing around for a possible way around or over the thing, though he saw nothing. He stole a few glances at the map and raised a brow as he followed the man into the cave.
So they were going to go through it, this could prove interesting. Will again scooped up his wifes hand and continued on. He blinked and peered through the dimness but saw nothing, and then suddenly saw everything at once. His eyes went wide and his jaw dropped. Elizabeth could only blink and then they heard a squeak beside them. Will glanced over and burst into laughter at the sight of Jack.* Don't die on us mate, we'll need help getting this gold back to the Pearl, not to mention help getting Evelyn *He stated, drawing his sword as well.
The city was beautiful and the gold was tempting, but there were more important matters at hand.*

Avery eyed Tasha worriedly as he caught her glaring daggers at the new woman. Something had to have happened while he was out, but he had no idea what it was and he wasn't about to ask. Asking could lead to a full out fight. Instead he just watched as Tasha walked away from him.
He looked back at Kora, "A little help, mate? I don't think I can walk on my own, just yet." She nodded a smile crossing her face and quickly helped him stand. Leaning most of his weight on her, they began to follow Tasha into the jungle. They caught up to Tasha rather quickly and the two women once again engaged in a silent glaring contest.
Ry felt his strength returning slightly, however he did not feel comfortable being stuck between two unhappy women. He mentally sighed knowing that there was nothing he could do about it until they reached the rest of the crew. It was just then that they stepped out between two trees and into the clearing where the crew had camped. Selina and Michael were sitting on the ground together. "Michael, Selina!" Avery practically shouted, his relief at finding someone to rescue him from the two women evident in his voice.
Kora was relieved when the blue-eyed woman only chose to glare at her and continue on her way. It left her with the perfect opportunity as well. She was left to care for Avery, and help him along. Helped to feed her plot. She would get him, it might take a long time, but she would acheive her goal.
She sighed aloud as they came into contact with others of the crew. The real questioning would begin now and she would have to contend with. She gave Avery a pleading glance and tightened her grip around his waist, hoping that he would help her out. If he helped her, she would know he felt something towards her already and it would save her a lot of trouble. And if he ignored her, she would have a lot of work cut out for her still.
