Evelyn glared at Eric angrily as he spoke up to her. "Well, YOUR house is 'bout ta be raided! So unless ye want ta go puttin' HER in danger, then go ahead an' stay, bloody idiot." Evelyn groaned. "This house isn' worth gettin' KILLED for!" Evelyn said as she placed her hands upon her hips. Her eyes were scanning the house, seeking any options in weaponry, should she need it. "Oh, SHE doesn't concern, really? Well then, it seems she doesn' concern YOU either if yer standin' here arguin' when ye SHOULD be trying ta get her to a safe place!" Evelyn shouted at him.
It was as if all the cold feelings left in her were boiling over at this moment. When the woman spoke up Eve gave her a deadly glare that seemed to singe into the frightened woman. "YER kind?! What the bloody 'ell d'ye mean by that?" Evelyn asked her stalking towards her angrily. "An' watch my tongue? I'll watch mine, but say somethin' ta me again an' ye'll bloody LOSE YOURS!" Evelyn barked.
Evelyn turned as Eric spoke again asking what she had done. "I did nothin'! I's not MY bloody fault men think they can bloody talk all high an' mighty with me an' think they won' get their due! An' I'm sorry I'm bringin' SO much bloody trouble! Tha's all I was? Wasn' I? Yer PROBLEM!" Eve shouted disgruntled. Just then the door burst open and the men rushed in. Eve noted as the smaller of the two headed for Elinor while the large, towering man stalked towards Evelyn. "There you are." He said giving her a sly grin.
Eve pointed her sword at him and he slapped hers away, but Evelyn held onto it firmly. "Enjoyed the powder?" Evelyn asked with a smirk. The man laughed and lunged. Eve smacked his sword away, he lunged again, Eve parried. With a turn on the ball of her foot she twirled and dug her sword deep into his side. He called out in pain and shouted at her. Just then Evelyn pulled her eyes to Elinor and she furrowed her brows, who WAS this woman?
Eve looked to the larger man. He laughed. "Put your sword down." He commanded. Eve looked back Elinor was in the smaller man's grasp now. "Drop it!" He called at Evelyn. Eve growled. "Not in yer bloody dreams." Evelyn's eyes were hard and fixed on Frank but then Eric nodded his head towards Eve, "Drop it Evy!" Eric told her. Evelyn bit her lip. She could keep up the fight, this woman didn't matter to her, but somewhere deep in her concience she didn't to see this woman, who might be someone important to Eric, die because of her.
"GAH!" Evelyn growled as she dropped her blade. Quickly the larger man grabbed Evelyn and pulled her into him. "Now, ta teach ye what a REAL hit feel's like." The large man said as she grabbed Eve's shirt tightly, he balled up his feet and it all seemed to go in slow motion. His large fist made contact with the side of her face. Evelyn's face swung to the side and she sprawled to the floor. The room was spinning and her ears seemed plugged for a moment, blocking out all sound. Evelyn blinked and looked up at Elinor and Eric.
Eve shook her head and felt a trickle of blood coming from her nose as her left eye pounded heavily. Eve blinked but her left eye didn't seem to open all the way, it suddenly felt very heavy and very warm. She coughed as she lay on the ground and then was picked up violently from the nape of her shirt. Evelyn was pulled back and into a firm grasp.
Soon whispers filled her ear as the large man spoke to her. "You shouldn' have run, perhaps yer pretty face would 'ave been spared." He told her with a malicious grin, looking her over curiously. "You bloody son of a sea snake, don' ye dare get any bloody ideas!" Evelyn growled at him horribly. Suddenly her arms were immobile and a blade was at her neck. "Or what? You can't do a THING about it." He laughed.

Under other cercumstances Mark would have tried harder to impress a lady, but he could feel that this lady in front of him was troubled by something. He looked at her for a moment, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. He couldn't believe that she thought she wasn't pretty. He had an unexplainable feeling towords the woman, he had never felt before.
"Rose eh? Thats a beautiful name, kinda ironic isn't it? And I do know what a pirate likes and doesn't like mate."
Mark said as he took the blue bandana off his right wrist. He had a P branded on the under part of his wrist. He wore the blue bandana to hide it from the eyes of the law.
"An' another thing Rose. I honestly think you are a pretty woman, you need to look into a mirror more often an' you would see that. I must admit that when you first walked in I was speechless. An' as for that gun miss, you can have it. It is Ladies day here at the ol' gunsmith shop today, already gave away a pistol earlier. You can trust my word that it is gonna be the best pistol you'll find on this rock."
Suddenly a familiar face strolled into the room. It was Will Turner. Mark had heard the stories about him and his adventure. He saw him around Port Royal every now and then, but never really talked to him. His wife Elizabeth, who he had also seen once or twice around town was with him.
"Hullo there Will, Elizabeth, what can I do for the two of ya? Hope Mrs. Turner doesn't have the mind to be buying a pistol today, heh heh."
Mark laughed. The day was young, but he had had quite a busy morning and he was hoping that they would be the last customers for the day. He was so tired that he felt he would just drop to the floor and sleep till Judgement Day.
"Pardon my actions, haven't gotten a lot of sleep the past week, business has been murder lately. I'm sure you can relate Mr.Turner eh?"

(OOC: Sorry Tobbs, I have REALLY slow reaction time LOL) *Carrie makes a sign of assent towards Tobbs and smiles. She hears the Cap'n step onto deck and smiles to herself. It heartened her everyday to see the Cap'n's strong dark features looking about his ship. She notices that Mr. and Mrs. Turner have just come round and she gives them a friendly wave.* "The moment we get into town I'm gonna be needin' meself a drink." *She said this to nobody in particular, but was hoping that she would have some company. Having a drink all on your onesies is a lonesome thing.*

As Rose listened to Mark, she raised an eyebrow, freezing her face into the cynical expression. In truth, though, she was completely floored. No man had ever spoken to her like that - not that she invited the attentions of men often. In truth, she was flattered that anyone would think of her this way, let alone speak to her about it. Hawk had told her she was beautiful, but Hawk was her brother.
"Th' name came b'fore th' tattoo," she finally said dryly, deciding to completely ignore the rest of what he'd said. She wasn't pretty and never would be; she'd accepted that long ago.
Still, she was considerably surprised to see the P brand on Mark's wrist, and she couldn't hide that. She covered it quickly, though, and laughed, grinning at Will. "Will, mate, yer turnin' all th' respectable men on th' island pirate! Good for you, Dad'll be so pleased!" She clapped Will on the shoulder and took the pistol from Mark, running delicate fingers over the rose engravings. Admiration for the fine pistol showed in her eyes; she was pleased with it.

Selina loomed in the dark shadows, watching with a satisfied smile as the man was beaten down and tortured. Selina enjoyed watching other suffer, she supposed since she was suffering constantly, the rest of the world deserved to as well. Why should SHE be the one constanlty out of luck. Selina's smile widened as the man whimpered and she looked him over.
Not too much had changed in Selina since the events at Mt. Olympus, except for the fact that she sought vengeance more than anything now. Vengeance against Jack Sparrow, and his crew of miscreants. Selina never DID find out what happened to Damien, all she knew was that he was gone and she couldn't understand why. Somewhere deep inside something told her he had simply left her, but another voice echoed faintly, saying perhaps that he was dead. Either way was painful really. If he HAD left her then he must have had second thoughts, he didn't REALLY love her after all if he left. If he had died than it pierced even more.
She shook these thoughts from her head and instead looked to the man ahead. A hand slipped onto her shoulder and she growled and took out her dagger in a flash, turning and slicing the man behind her straight across the throat. The man fell to the ground with a loud thud and many of the other pirates around her backed away slowly. "Anyone ELSE want to try and touch me?" Selina growled holding the dagger firmly in place. She looked down at her shirt as it became stained with blood and she sighed heavily. "Damn, when will you men learn?" Selina asked.
Then she tucked the dagger away and stepped forward. She kicked the man writhing up on the floor in the stomach and she spat on him. "He's no fun. And we can't even use him for OTHER purposes." Selina stated as she rolled her eyes. Ever since Selina had had that night with Damien she hadn't been able to bring herself to go with anyone else. It was a strange feeling. She was still too attached, too faithful, too...perhaps...in love with Damien. He was her everything for those few days and she felt she'd be betraying him and what they shared if she bedded someone else so easily.
Her dark eyes flickered as she looked down at the man disgusted. So much anger brewed within her that at any given moment she would unleash it, she had been doing so bit by bit. It seemed Barbossa's crew couldn't keep their hands off her, literally, and she had been going off in small angry spurts now and again. Deep down though, her soul ached for Damien still and she wondered what happened. It both frustrated and angered her. But she could do nothing about it. She had begged Barbossa to go back and try to find him, but to no avail.
Since the events of Mt. Olympus really, Barbossa and she had shared a unique, respectful bond. He had claimed to have liked to have found that Selina wanted to betray him. He had said it showed some "sand" in her. Selina had become quite close to the Captain in fact, at least in the simple fact that she was allowed to know a great deal. They had gained a mutual respect for one another and she was determined to stay on Barbossa's good side from now on...she had seen and FELT exactly how cruel the hardened Captain could be and she wasn't about to experience that side of him first hand again.

::Jack was in Will's shop, poking his nose in place it had no right being. He examined all the tools, hammers, clamps, raw metal, half finished sword pieces, the forge, anvil.......the donkey......::
::Jack eyed the creature with a wry smirk. He'd burned the donkey a few years ago. The donkey had not forgotten...it stared at the pirate with some amount of misgiving.....::
"Sorry about that...." Jack said coming over. The donkey took a few steps, turned and stared at Jack: "No need to burn you....now where is Mr. Turner?" He asked and took a few steps closer, a sword a few feet past the donkey had caught his eye::
:: The donkey was not having anything to do with it....its hind legs came up and knocked Jack clear in the chest. The pirate flew a couple feet, landing with a thump and lay spwarled on the floor.::
::He came to his feet and for a second or two was ready to kill the animal....he had the hammer in his hand, ready to do so...then he smirked...tossed the hammer away and laughed:: "We're even then, are we?" He asked.::
::Then he dusted himself off and peered around the room again, examining things once more::#nosmileys

(MEEP!! I'm sorry about my last post. My computer has been giving me hell lately, and apparently only felt like submitting some of my post -___- I'll finish off the last one here, and hopefully get in my next post too...)
"What? Yer not gonna beg fer mercy? No cries fer 'elp?" ::Barbossa sneered down at the defenseless boy, and kicked his arm out from under him, sending him sprawling to the ground:: "Yer no fun."
:: Drawing his pistol, he aimed directly at the boy's hung head. He had hoped to at least get some information out of the boy - gossip, blackmail, or any of the other facts pirates tended to find useful - but if he was really so intent on keeping silent....::
::The hammer of the pistol clicked once as Barbossa prepared to fire. There were plenty of other sources of information on this god-forsaken rock. This was really only a waste of ammunition. Then, suddenly, as the captain was about to pull the trigger, the boy cried out and threw himself at his feet::
"Por favore, Senior!! No disparas!" ::he cried out in his native tongue. Barbossa, slightly amused by his begging, lowered his pistol a bit. The boy continued, sobbing heavily and clinging to the pirate's boots::
"I-I can help you...! I know you. You...are they one they call Barbossa, neh?"
::The captain smirked:: "A theif 'o knows 'is prey. 'ow convenient."
::He paled, but continued quickly, knowing he was bargaining for his very life:: "Then you must be familiar with the legends of El Dorado, the ancient city of gold and jewels."
"Aye, all pirates've 'eard that tale. The secret city o' Cortez, hidden fr'm the rest o' the world in a jungle that cannot be found. So wh't?"
"W-what if I told you.... how to get there?" ::A small grin spread aross the boy's face as he realized he had the captain's full attention now::

*Will laughed as Rose threw her arms about him and greeted him. He hugged her, glad to see her again. He grinned and gave a nod as she said that Jack was looking for him and he wondered what Elizabeth would do with this news. If he didn't happen to stray away from Port Royal again, which was probably about to be the case, he knew he wanted Elizabeth to come along. She had just as much pirate in her as he did and knew that she wouldnt want to stay behind. When Will heard what Mark was saying to Rose, about it being ladies day, he quietly nudged Elizabeth and grinned at her.* Did you hear that? Ask him for powder. If you do it, we'll get it for free. *He whispered, drawing his mouth close to her ear. She turned and raised a brow as she looked at him, her eyes clearly saying 'Dont even go there'. Will laughed a little at the gunsmiths comment about his wife and he reached out, squeezing her shoulder lovingly. That was one thing he had always loved about her. She knew when to be proper and yet beneath her seemingly fragile exterior was a fiesty woman just waiting for the chance to hit something with a sword.* Apparently you don't know Elizabeth. *Will laughed and then nodded in full agreement.* I can relate very well. But really mate, dont call me Mr. Turner. Call me Will...its my name. *He stated with a nod. He'd always hated being referred to so proper. He glanced about the shop and patted his pistol through his belt.* Actually I came here for some powder for my pistol. *He stated, eyeing Mark. He grinned at the fact that the man looked like who would drop to the floor asleep at any moment.* You know, you look like you could get away from this place, get some fresh air for a while. If we head out on the Pearl...you should join us. *Will added, slapping the man on the shoulder. He found it interesting that this man had once been a pirate himself and figured he might like another taste of the lifestyle. At least for a little while to get away from the cramped world of Port Royal. Then he smiled at Rose again and shrugged. In all honesty he didn't know Mark that well and figured he'd become pirate long before Will had first met him.* Soon as I get my powder I better go find that nut you call your Captain. *He grunted with a grin. He figured the man was in one of two places...the craziest tavern or his shop.*

Mark smiled at the woman and was pleased that she liked her pistol.
"I hope that pistol won't be put into use too soon Rose, but I believe a woman like ur self can take care 'f herself."
Mark said with a grin. He hoped he'd get the chance to see her again soon. He turned to Will and Elizabeth and smiled.
"Gun powder eh? Sorry 'bout that, my mother taught me to be polite in front of strangers, not that ur a stranger to me. I got the bag of powder or the cartriges mate. I would recomend the cartridges though. A pre-measured amount of powder is in it. Just bite off the end and pour the powder in and ram the ball in, saves a lot of time, and when you got people that need to be offed, well...you get the idea eh Will?"
Mark said demonstrating how to use the new cartridges with his own pistol. He grabbed a box of cartridges and handed them to Will.
"I am afraid that I'm gonna have to charge ya for 'em though mate. I gotta eat too ya know. I tell ya what though, I'll give you a discount since you invited me on the Pearl with ya."
Mark said putting his hand on Will's shoulder. He was trying to hold back a bit of his excitement. He couldn't believe he was just offered a chance to sail on the Black Pearl. It had been awhile since he had done anything as a pirate. The fact was he was trying to become a more honest person. He only became a pirate to support his mother, but he knew he could never change, not even for her. There was too much fun to be had.
"I will accept your invitation on the cruise on the Pearl mate. Could use a time away from this bloody shop. Spend more 'en half me life in this damned place. An' I hope you will be goin' to Elizabeth, I'd like to get the chance to learn more about you and your husband here."

Rose gave Mark a knowing grin. "As you should know, a pirate 'thout a pistol's like a cat 'thout claws. 'Course I'll use it." She twirled it in her fingers and in one smooth motion slipped it into her belt, opposite her old one.
She grinned as Will invited Mark aboard the Pearl. "Yer comin' back then," she said, looking delighted. "Things are always a bit crazier with you 'round, mate...Dad'll be glad t'have you aboard too," she added to Mark, winking at him. "If yer gonna look for 'im, Will, I'll come along...two Sparrows on land are worth one in th' bush, or 'owever th' sayin' goes..."

*Elizabeth laughed soflty when he mentioned her waiting on him and gave him a thankful nod as she made her way out the door first. She was enjoying the sunlight and fresh air about her, planning on what she’d buy at the market, when she heard Will state something about him going crazy and the Pearl. She turned her gaze sharply towards the docks, and when she caught the ship at the docks, she raised a brow curiously and wondered silently what would happen this time. Last time she saw that ship in the docks, she watched them sail off with Will for more time than she wished…*
*She followed Will inside the gunsmith’s, rather curious about all the guns and powders and things in the shop. She was about to browse to see what could be what, when she heard Will greet Rose. She laughed lightly at her husband’s look and approached the daughter of Captain Sparrow.*
“Good morning! Rose? It’s nice to meet you Rose, I’ve heard much about you from Will!”
*She looked to Will when she said her father was looking for him, sighing and giving him a knowing look.*
“Is he now? I wonder what he’s got on his mind this time; no doubt it’ll involve something with swords and fights and, of course, rum.”
*She smiled at the thought and remembered Sparrow and her stay on that island he was governor of, shaking her head at the notion of how much rum was actually drunk by the man. At Mark’s greeting, her smile grew and she laughed when he mentioned buying a pistol.*
“No weapons for me today Mark, though it’s nice to see you again. Whenever you can take a break away from work you should come up for dinner, we’d love to have you.”
*When Will drew near and whispered to her to ask him for powder, she raised a brow and gave him a look that said ‘Don’t even go there’. She smiled teasingly at him as he mentioned Mark not knowing whom she was really was. Listening to the bit where her husband spoke on looking for Jack, she contemplated making some dinner for the crew with Estrella.*
”I think I’ll go to the market and get a few things while you look for him. We could always invite them over for supper; after all, if they’ve come this far to take you away again, they aren’t leaving without at least taking some proper food.”
*She slipped her hand in his and squeezed it gently before nodding to Mark at his last comments.*
”A trip on the Pearl away from work would be great for you to go on! And me? Go along? It’d be interesting to go on another trip with Sparrow and his crew, so I have half a mind to, especially with Will going. I just can’t be away from you too long, now can I?”
*She nestled up against Will and gazed in his eyes for a second or so before picking her basket back up and looking to Mark and then Rose, and then back to Will.*
”Alright then, I’ll be off to the market to get some goods! Rose, we’d love to have you, your father, and the crew for dinner if they wish it! It was a pleasure meeting you. Mark, maybe you could join us tonight as well. If not, I don’t doubt I shall see you again soon with the Pearl in the docks! Will, don’t be too late, I’ll help cook something up just in case, but take your time catching up, and give Jack and the crew my hellos for me. I’ll see you at home.”
*She kissed his cheek and gave them a nod farewell, preparing to head for the market.*

Mark smiled at Rose as she holstered her pistol. He liked to see people that had skill like that with a gun. Guns were his specialty out at sea, though that is obvious. He smiled at Elizabeth
"I'd be glad to join ya fer dinner Elizabeth. I could use a good meal. And you really should join us on the Pearl, someone has to keep this ol' dog from getting into too much trouble."
Mark said with a laugh. He mostly laughed at a thought he had in his mind. He could picture Will getting ready to take out a bad guy and Elizabeth beating him to it. He laughed to himself again. He needed some sleep badly and decided to close shop for the day.
"Well Will, I must be closin the shop now. I need to get some sleep. I feel like I could sleep on a bed a spikes right now 'f I had to."
Mark said as he picked up some papers and put them into a neat stack. He followed Will to the door and locked it.
"Lookin forward to dinner at ur place mate. Name a time an' I'll be sure to be there. See ya later."
Mark said locking the door. He lived a few blocks away in a small house with his mother. He cared for the best he could. He began to drowzily walk down the street towords his house. The fresh air did him good. Far better than the hot stuffy air of the gunsmith shop. The breeze cooled his face and he let out a smile. He began to whistle a tune. He knew that adventure and maybe even treasure lay before him now.
"Maybe if there is treasure I could afford a better house, and give me mother the care she deserves."

* Maria took one long glance around the pub and breathed deeply.*
" I should get goin.."
* She said turning to the bartender. Then heading out the pub. She had only walked a few steps before a band of naval officers walked pass her. They stopped halfway and when they caught sight of her scar, they stared. Maria started to run. She ran into a gun smithery. and closed the door. Maria went to the window and pulled back the curtain, peering out to see if they had followed her*
* Chris nodded as the young girl left. He grabbed the shilling she left on the table and went to the back to bring more kegs*

Suddenly Selina turned as she heard the man mumble and plead in Spanish. It had been a while since she had heard her native tongue spoken and she lifted a brow. She alone had caught what the man had said and she looked to Barbossa and the young man suspiciously. Just then she looked to the other men as a hand grabbed her arm firmly. "Ye know, yer gettin' a bit too big headed fer this crew. Yer jus' 's low as we are!" the man growled at her. Selina simply rolled her eyes at the man and shook her head. "Men...they never learn."
With that Selina yanked her arm away abruptly, wielded her sword and in a few quick flicks had beaten the man and plunged her blade deep in his throat. Another took out his sword and looked her over hungrily. Selina, however, was too skilled a bladeswoman and with a parry here, a parry there, and a spin she had dug her blade DEEP into the man's chest. He fell with a small gurgle and he last simply stared at her blankly and ran off.
Selina smirked slyly. "Well that was barely entertaining." She said as she turned. Just then she heard it. El Dorado...
Selina brushed back a few strands of her dark, ebony, hair. "You know how to get to El Dorado? Como?" Selina asked throwing in a spanish word. The man blinked, seemingly surprised she spoke his language. "Yo fui con un grupo de soldados a buscar al templo y lo encontramos, pero...nos fuimos, sin tocar nada." He told her firmly. Barbossa looked puzzled and Selina translated quickly.
"Says he went with a group of soldiers looking for it and when they found it they left without touching a thing." Then Selina turned back to the young man. "Why would you do that? You resisted an entire city of gold?" Selina asked him in her native tongue.

*Will raised a brow as Mark mentioned the cartridges and then he grinned at the mention of him having to pay.* Sounds fair enough...for a pirate. *He winked and grunted, glancing down at the blue bandanna. As Rose spoke he turned to her and smiled brightly, folding his arms across his chest.* Of course I'd come along. And you people say I'm dumb. *He teased and nodded.* Sounds good, I kinda missed the old buggar. *He said, smiling at his wife as she grabbed his hand and nestled up against him. He was glad to hear that she would come along if he went as well, he had missed her last time and found that things just weren't the same without Elizabeth being there. He nodded his head to her as she kissed his cheek and made to leave.* I won't be late. *He smiled and turned his attention back to the gunsmith. He pondered the question a moment, but gave the best time he could come up with and waved as the man locked the shop and made his way back home. Will laughed a little, remembering when he used to have those same kind of days. He turned back to Rose and smiled, patting her on the back.* Lets try the shop first. Hopefully no ones knocked him out or killed him yet. *Will grunted, heading off towards his shop with Rose. He was eager to see Jack again, considering it had been almost a year since their last rather interesting run-in. He grinned, finding it curious that he only got into real trouble when that man and his crew were around. But Will didn't mind. You could only be proper for so long before doing something pirate like just calls to you. Finally the two arrived at the shop and Will slipped inside, instantly spotting Jack and laughing at the look on the donkeys face, almost a mixture of hateful rememberance and triumph.*
