*Maria took a deep breath of salty sea air as she rested her head upon one hand. It was a usual sight for her, the open sea. Sometimes, though, she wondered if a change of scenery would be best for her. But most times if she were to think of leaving the life on the sea behind she knew that she would feel homesick. Maria had infact grew up on the sea. She had no steady home to go to, all she had were the ships she occupied from time to time. At a very early age she had to grow accustomed to live a life without any guidance, she had to make choices on her very own. She took another deep breath and closed her eyes as the rocking of the ship began to lull her back to sleep. Maria slowly opened her eyes and turned her head to see Rick coming up on board.*
" Mornin' Rick.."
* She turned her head back and her eyes caught Port Royal slowly creeping towards them. They must have been so many leagues but the anticipation made it seem even farther*

Evelyn gave a short laugh as Emma spoke. She knew Emma wouldn't be the one to lounge about Port Royale and not stir up some sort of trouble. Emma was as unpredictable as a wildfire really, you never know which way it'll go, or how fast and furious it would burn. Eve looked over the seas as the island neared. They would be reaching Port Royale sooner rather than later and at the moment, Eve felt it best they simply get over their visit and then leave promptly. "No, no, I'll be in the thick of it all I expect. Never was one to stay unnoticed in a place like this." Evelyn stated as she stood up straight and placed a hand upon her hilt. "Besides, its much too much fun ta see the looks on all these proper folks' faces when one o' us stirs up a bit o' trouble." Eve told her with a smirk and wink.
Rick soon appeared and Evelyn casually took a sidestep away from Emma as he greeted her. She attempted to keep her eyes straight and out at the horizon, but she couldn't help but take a sideglance at the pair. They were so close and although they didn't show too much affection all the time, it was simply the way they carried themselves, it was evident they had known eachother for a long time. They had memories, a past, and even more...a future between them. Evelyn sighed heavily, pulling her eyes away from them, she was happy for them, completely, but they reminded her every now and again of HIM.
Sometimes, when Eve was left to her watch up in the crow's nest, or when she was simply lounging about the ship she found herself pondering over Rick and Emma and for her mind attempted to mull over exactly why they could stay together and what drove Eve and HIM apart. She had come to the conclusion time and time again that it was indeed her fault. She had drove him away. Perhaps if she asked him to stay, to beg him to stay, he might have considered living with her. "I could 'ave taken care o' him." Eve found herself speaking softly to herself.
She shook her head, there she went, they weren't even there yet and already HE was filling her head, but she'd be damned if he was to be on her mind all day.
Looking over to Rick she gave a him a nod, which was the friendliest greeting she could bring herself to make at the moment. "Mornin' Rick. Hope ye slept well. You'll be needin' ta keep an eye on this one." Eve said giving Rick a wink and lifting a brow. "Well then, I'll be...*ahem*...gettin' ready ta dock." Eve stated as she walked away from them. Evelyn never liked standing around too much while on board the Pearl. She had always felt she needed to make her own keep and she always strived for more. She tended to work herself out quite often and even when she had been barked at to stop so much bloody activity by Jack she had still found herself making minor adjustments to anything.
Still she took a deep sigh and shook these things from her mind, instead she turned to going about her business and took in the sails as they neared the docks, taking off her boots in order to climb the rigging barefoot. She was a masterful sailor by now and could do right. Perhaps she wasn't the quickest, she but she figured a way to do things the safest way possible which was quite odd as Evelyn had always simply been the type of person to jump into a fight hard and fast, altough in this she found herself taking her time, carefully doing things. At first she had thought perhaps this was because she had taken heed to Athena's words. The goddess did seem to suggest that Eve take her time more often.
She did find herself admiring the goddess quite a lot and she wondered why it was her Athena visited when she didn't consider herself all that wise. Fierce in battle, yes, but she had never given too much thought to anything, but it seems since the visit at Mt. Olympus she had found herself taking more thought in the smaller things in life. Perhaps it was the beginning of something?
To this Evelyn shook her head and simply went on about her business, carefully tying and securing the sails in place as they were to dock soon.

*Gazing up as she was greeted, she waved to those who came down and shook off her sleepy thoughts. She saw the crew was just getting up and readying for another day. Twas high time she got ready to get off that barrel and start preparing to bring the ship into Port Royale.*
"Mornin' everyone...seems like a fine enough day ta bring the Pearl in, wouldn' ya say? Jack's still asleep, so we'll be most likely bringin' her in to the port by our onesies."
*She glanced over to the Captain's Quarters and her smile grew. She didn't know how it happened, but ever since she was in the caves with Jack and on Mount Olympus, she'd felt something much more for the Captain, and she'd, with relief, sensed the same sort of thing in his eyes when he was with her. But she changed her thoughts when she was addressed to.*
"Mornin' Emma, sleep well I hope? By the looks of it Rick's still asleep then, aye? Men, always thinkin' they can sleep in late..."
*She shook her head at the last bit and laughed lightly. At Evy's greeting, she slyly smiled and looked at Port Royale as it approached.*
"Aye indeed, 'unnoticed'. Though I have ta say I've been meanin' to pay a few of those officers a visit, fer old time's sake o' course."
*She rubbed her hands together as if plotting what kind of havoc she could spread in a day. She looked up to Evy and noted how thoughtful she'd looked after they made their decision to head for Port Royale. She guessed the cause, but she kept silent about it. After all, love works in mysterious ways...*
"Mornin' Maria, ya look mighty excited about our little stop. Any business ya have there? Anyone you thinkin' about seein'? Best be careful around those officers, they can try and be sly, and while it's humorous ta watch 'em, you've got to watch yer back."
*She nodded as if assuring Maria that's what could happen, and then she waved over to Rose and Hawk as she saw them come on deck. Such fun they were to watch, they fit together perfectly, she'd always said.*
"Mornin' Rick, ready fer Port Royale?"
*She noted how close it was drawing, and she caught Evy taking in the sails and preparing to dock. She stood and went over to the wheel, nodding a greeting to the sailor who held the Pearl in course for the time being. She noted to him that they were preparing to dock, and that he would be bringing her in. She then went down below to check supplies needed, writing a list of what they should buy for the trip to come. After finishing up, she closed the recording book and went on deck, realizing that it'd be a bit longer before they made it into Port Royale. But of course, her patience was thin as always.*

*Carrie felt herself smile with the anticipation that soon the Black Pearl would be docking at Port Royale. She had just woken up and was refreshed and in a much more amiable mood than usual. She decided to go up to deck. As she walks up she realizes how late she is in waking and grumbles a bit to herself about being such a lazy bum. Carrie avoids Tobbs' acid glance at her lateness and gets to doing her daily work on the ship.*

:Jack in short had not changed one bit since the trip to Olympus a year ago. He was still firmly convinced he'd beaten Dionysus in that drinking contest and was proud ot boast it openly.::
:He woke up in his room, in his cabin and looked around, found the note from Tobbs and smiled. Then he stood, dressed himself in a outfit that had not changed much in style since Will Turner had met him over two years ago. Same dark pants, loose white shirt, huge jacket, boots, and hair beads and hat in place. Nothing changed. Jack was a creature of habit when it came to style. What suited him suited him. No need to mess with a good thing::
::But his life could not have been changed more dramatically. He had children now. Two of them. A girl, Rose who was a spitfire replica of her father as far as personality went, but her mother's beauty... and Hawk who had his father's looks and his mother's brain.....::
:::Then there was his crew....who oddly enough seemed to consider him either sane enough or just crazy enough to be their captain.....either way....they were loyal....a odd feature for a pirate crew.::
::Jack yawned, then pushed his door open and walked out onto deck. He smiled around him, recognizing by feel and memory alone Port Royale was near...and within this sleepy little port was Will Turner...his unwitting partner in crime.::
::He smiled broadly and looked moved to the wheel of the Black Pearl. There he simply stood and enjoyed the warm balmly Caribbean air. It was a fine day to be alive::

Evelyn finished with tying in the sails as they slowly approached the Port's docks. She glanced down at the decks of the Pearl and noted as Jack stepped on out. Eve gave a grin, seeing her Captain up and about always gave her a bit of reassurance, even if the man himself was probably the most crazy of them all, he seemed to somehow keep things together.
With that, Evelyn swung down onto the decks of the Pearl and glanced around. She headed towards Jack and gave him a solemn nod and a smirk. "Mornin' Capn'. I pulled in the sails as we're gettin' quite close to the docks of Port Royale, an' I suggest ye keep that map with you at all times." Eve told Jack in a low voice. "I've got it in my 'ead pretty damned well, but jus' in case anythin' happens, ye have that, savvy?" Evelyn asked him lifting a brow. Having made it long ago with her father it was etched into her head perfectly, but they needed to make sure the crew would get to that City of Gold no matter what, and lets face it, Evy wasn't the most safe person in the world.
" 'S long as ye have tha' with ye at all times, the crew'll be fine." Evelyn nodded as she stood next to Jack and then looked out at the seas. "Erm, Jack, will we...I mean, you be vistin'...Will Turner?" She asked him, already guessing the answer. She knew there would be no other reason for Jack to come here really, other than to pay a visit to the Turners. She bit her nails a bit, which had been gnawed down quite well and it was a nasty habit she had never been able to get rid of. Usually she did this when she was uncomfortable or nervous and that happened rarely on the ship, but as she knew they would be coming to Port Royale, she found herself doing this more and more.
Her honeyed eyes travelled over the decks and out of the corner of her eye she spied a knot that wasn't QUITE as tight as it could be, she'd tend to that soon enough.

:Jack spied Evelyn and nodded at the mention of the map: "I'll be keepin' it safe." He answered, then smiled at her mention of Will Turner::
"Of course I'll be vistin' him....the lad's father was a pirate, it'd be a shame and a black mark on my name if I didn't encourage him to act more pirate like wouldn't you say? Besides, Elizabeth already calls him one, it's time he started acting like one...or at least when he's with me...."
:With thaqt Jack smirked and looked around the deck. yep. They'd be arriving shortly....and he was honestly looking forward to it:

*Tobbs heard Carrie come on deck and she nodded in greeting as the lass went to work. She seemed to avoid her gaze a few times, and so Tobbs didn't frequently go around her, but she did have a tendency to check up on her well being from time to time.*
"Mornin' Carrie...more likely the morning's waning a bit, we'll be in Port Royale soon I'm guessing..."
*She smiled faintly and tucked the recording book in her sash, heading over to check on Jack again. When she entered his cabin, she noted he wasn't sleeping. Raising a brow curiously, she grabbed an apple and took a bite.*
*As she made her way back on deck, she tossed the apple over the side of the ship and looked towards the wheel. There was Jack, standing at the wheel already with Evy. She followed his gaze towards the approaching city, allowing a rather apprehensive yet excited sigh to escape. She then headed up to him with a hand on her hip, giving a nod to Evy and Jack as she noted they were in conversation.*
"Sleep well, cap'n?"
*She smirked and leaned on the opposite side of the wheel, facing him with a teasing shadow dancing across her face.*
"We should be in Port Royale any minute, aye? And you say we'll visit Turner then? Sounds like a plan...though I doubt I'll not be makin' a few stops here and there on our way. I've got the supply list ready, so that'll be taken care of..."
*She bit her lip slightly as she pulled the book out and ran her finger down the page to check it over. Once done, she closed it and put it back in her sash. A thought came across her and Tobbs went up to Jack smiling innocently. She gave a nod towards the direction of Port Royale and then looked to Evy, trying to wait for the slightest unaware moment.*
"Ya never know what's gonna happen in that town, too many officers and navy men fer my liking, but there's always someone familiar ya see."
*She noted Jack's glance went to Evy and she lightly slipped her hand up towards his hat. Taking it with every bit of ease, as she'd learned how to go about being sly and unnoticed, she placed it on her head and turned around, edging away slowly. When she noticed he'd caught her in his view with his hat on, she looked over her shoulder and turned back around to facing him, laughing lightly and giving an innocent smile once more.*
"What? Doesn't fit my outfit as well?"

::Jack smirked at Tobbs. if it had been anyone save his kids or Will Turner he might have cut her hand off. But he only smirked, amused. He looked at her critically:
"Yer wearing it all wrong..." He went over adjuested the hat, then tilted it sharply over her eyes: "There now. That's better....."
:He smirked again and walked back to the wheel: "We'll get you yer own later, savvy?"
::He was merely too well contented to be angrty. It was to fine a day to be mad about anything....he was on his ship and the day or was clear and bright...what should he be mad about?:

Evelyn looked to her captain and smirked as he spoke of Will Turner. "True, true." Evelyn told Jack as she lifted a brow and gazed out into the horizon. "But then again I doubt Will has a choice of whether or not to act like a pirate around you Jack." Evelyn told him, giving her Captain a wink. Just then Tobbs managed to snatch Jack's hat from him and she stepped back a bit. It seemed the more she attempted to block out HIM but it seems as if his memory is pushing to get back inside her mind again.
She gave a soft growl as Tobbs and Jack exchanged some friendly banter and she walked away muttering a bit. "Bloody pirates..." She instead looked ahead as the ship sailed in. The black sails had been tied in and just as the Pearl grazed the docks Evelyn took a rope and swung over the side of the ship, taking the rope and then tying the Black Pearl to the docks. The anchor was dropped and Evelyn squinted her eyes as she turned around.
It was a bright, clear morning, some of the sailors about the busy docks turned their heads a bit to look in Evelyn's direction, eyeing her quite curiously as she spat onto the docks and assisted in tying the Pearl in. With her effects in place Evelyn looked about and then looked down at her dirty, bare, feet. She rushed back onto the Pearl to rapidly place her boots on and then headed back onto the docks.
Her eyes scanned the streets and a few downcast looks were shot her way. Just as Evy turned to shout something at the crew she caught sight of dark blonde ruffled hair. Evelyn blinked and then shook her head. She only spotted the hair and as HE walked away it seemed he was in the company of a lady...
Eve shrugged this off, probably someone else...She turned and assisted in leaving everything tight and secure before she left and made her way towards the nearest pub.

*Tobbs rolled her eyes as he adjusted the hat, following him as he walked back towards the wheel.*
"Another fashion tip from Jack Sparrow himself!"
*She laughed and watched as Port Royale came closer, raising a brow as Evy gave a soft growl at their teasing one another. She resumed her stance with her hand on her hip and gave Jack the blame.*
"See what ya did? 'o knows what you'll do when in Port Royale, cause trouble with officers, meet up with some old 'friends', start a fight with someone random, end up in a cell with an oddball."
*She tossed her hair over her shoulder and crossed her arms as she looked up at him. He seemed to be rather anticipating this trip to Port Royale. Tobbs placed her hand on his arm as they docked and as people began to get off. She removed his hat and put it back on his head, adjusting it to how he wore it and giving a slightly serious nod as she spoke. She moved her hand up to his cheek for a brief second.*
"If ya don' get yerself killed, I'll put in an effort to not do so either, savvy? I'm heading for those supplies first off, catch up with ye and the Turners later."

::Jack only smirked that much more. the teasing was all in good fun. He honestly enjoyed it::
"Aye..I'll be headin' off to find Mr. Turner now....if ye can't find me just follow the cursing and officers running around...I'll be nearby..."
:He was only half joking. But he disembarked all the same, heading out intothe streets of Port Royale with a jaunty swagger that made him almost too noticable. He didn't care. He'd find Mr. Turner first...and catch up with the crew in no time....maybe for this trip he'd take Elizabeth along..would do the lass some good to get out of this proper place...she was nearly a pirate herself in Jack's eyes anyway::
::he went first to Will's shop and opened the door, peeking inside. He didn't see anyone. Maybe it was too early for him to be working. So Jack plopped himself down and made himself at home:#nosmileys

Sunlight began to pour into the shop as the sun began to rise over the port. Mark put down the barrel he'd been working on and rubbed his eyes. He let out a loud yawn and propped his feet up on the counter. His blue eyes became heavy with sleep and he could hold it back no longer. He dozed off and slipped into a world of fried crab, rum, and women
After a time Sam arrived at the shop, late agian as usual. He looked around and saw all the guns Mark had completed over the night. He went over to where Mark was sleeping and picked up the gun he'd been working on. "A serpent eh? Nice work." He said as he put it down on the counter. He got to work making musket balls and packing powder caseings.[/color]
Mark was awakened when Sam began to knock bullets out of the mold. He got up slowly and quietly. He calmly walked over to where Sam was working and tapped him on the back. "Late again eh? Thats the fifth time in a row ya know. What am I gonna do with ya. I can't run this shop all by me lonesome can I? Though I feel like I do anyways." Mark said with a grin. He walked back over and finished assembling the musket with the serpent on it. He wanted to make sure that everything worked properly, for the weapon was for one of His Majesties sailors, and he wanted it to be absolutely perfect. He loaded the weapon quickly and aimed at a pot that was next to Sam. He pulled the trigger and let out a laugh. Sam let out a most girlish scream and passed out. Mark stood up quickly and looked around. He ran over to the poor chap and waved his hand over his face. "Oh no, I killed the poor bastard. Wake up you blimey fool." Mark said as he slapped the boy.

Evelyn looked about the place and decided to simply stroll the streets looking for a good pub but not finding one immediately. Her hand rested on her hilt and she found herself weaving her way through the crowd, carefully avoiding any curious eyes and turning the corners when a Naval soldier approached.
Amongst the proper women Evelyn stuck out like a sore thumb and as she stubbed her toe on a fish stand near the docks she cursed loudly which caused even more foul looks to come her way. "Gah! Bloody look away, bloody bilge rats...thinkin' their SO much be'er than anyone else..." She groaned a she walked on with her head held high. Suddenly, Eve stopped as she approached what looked to be a Gunsmith. Evelyn gave a small smirk as she looked inside the shop and saw many pistols lining the walls. She could definately use a new pistol.
Evelyn brushed a few stray curls from her face and pushed them back. The bandana held most of them back, but her wild, brown, curls were always of the rebellious nature. She entered the store slowly. Looking over, she saw a man crouching over another and she lifted a brow. Perhaps she could slip in and out. Just then however the dark haired man looked up at her suspiciously and she cursed inwardly but then put on a fake smile smoothly.
"I'd like ta find myself a good pistol." Evelyn told him with a grin as she made her way towards him. Her honey eyes scanned the man over, he was quite handsome actually, but she hadn't paid too much attention to men since...well about a year ago.
"Nothin' fancy, 'm not lookin' fer on fer show. Jus' need a good, sturdy pistol." Evelyn said as she approached him slowly.

Mark looked at the young woman for a moment and stood up. He'd given up on poor Sam. He walked up the lady and smiled a bit.
"Nothin fancy ya say? Well my pretty little lass you have come to the wrong place. I only make the best guns ye can find on this God forsaken rock. Each one specially engraved with a picture of some kind. Ya see mate, I like to consider myself a bit of an artist. And they don't come cheap....buy perhaps we could make out a deal."
Mark said to the woman. He walked over to a shelf and picked up a pistol. It was as plain as they came. It had an engraving on the barrel in Latin that read, "My bite is worse than my bark." He made it as a joke to give to Sam, for Sam wasn't exactly an outgoing person. He handed it over to the beauty.
"I believe this one will fit you well. The engraving probably describes you well I suppose. I tell ya what mate, you can have it. Being able to look upon you is payment enough, savvy?"
Mark said trying to come off as charming. He let out a grin and tightened the blue bandana around his right wrist.
"In fact I'll through in some bullets and powder cartridges for no charge mate, I trust you know how to use one of these? I didn't get your name. I'm Mark Andrews."
