Selina turned back and looked to Damien. Her eyes ran over him a bit and she tucked her pistol in her belt once more. She knew this could be the moment where she found out and she gave him a small smirk. "Thank you." She told him. Selina tossed her long dark hair over her tresses. "I appreciate this." She told him with a seductive smile.
Selina thought about the matter a moment and deep down she felt something. He had protected her. She furrowed her brows slightly. No one had EVER done that for her before, no one. She looked up into his eyes. As much as she was going to do this for the information she was trying to take from him, she also would be quelling a feeling that had rumbled in her since she first laid eyes on him.
"Perhaps there is some way I can make it up to you?" she half stated, half asked. Selina approched him slowly and backed him against a wall. "ANYTHING at all?" she leaned into him and placed a hand on his cheek. She leaned in slowly and placed her ruby lips on his. This would seal the deal she hoped. Her blood boiled and she couldn't help her actions anymore. She would give into him, that is if he gave into her.
She was doing this for Barbossa, she reminded herself, but she couldn't help but LOVE this particular mission. She ran her hands onto his neck and melted away, into the moment...

::At first, Damien had half expected Selina to slap him, scream at him, even pull the gun on him... but thank him? He wasn't even quite sure what had happened between the time he'd dashed around the corner and when he'd been pulled away from a bruised and sputtering young man::
::But then, just as he was about to reply, Selina gently pushed him into the wall and pressed her lips to his. His eyes went wide, but he made no move to escape this time. Despite having avoided her thus far, he had always known he wouldn't be able to ignore his instincts forever. Even as her hand slipped from his neck down into the opening of his shirt, he couldn't resist her now::
"S-Selina...!" ::He let out a small gasp of surprise. //Damn, she's good with her hands!//:: "Yea...o-ok.... But, can we go somewhere a little - ah! - m-more private?"
::Selina pulled her face back far enough to give him a sly wink then, taking his hand, she led him slowly across the hallway toward her room. As they reached the door, Damien's confidence returned, and he pulled her into a heated kiss. She had to fumble around with the lock behind her back before she finally opened the door and they stumbled into the dark room::
::As soon as Damien had closed the door behind them, Selina was once again pressing him up against the wall and kissing him passionately. //She's VERY good with her hands!// The warm blood in his veins boiled over then, and he picked Selina up, carried her to the bed, and all but threw her onto the mattress::
::The moon was still shining brightly in the dark sky as the two melted together into the night::

<:folds her arms and mock-glares at Bossa and Evy:Just bloody great! My computer breaks down a few nights, and I find you like this? For SHAME....lol,sorry I was gone without notice, hope no one worried...>
Emma grinned devilishly at Evelyn's comment before the other woman headed below deck."Damn straight,"she said, her eyes glittering with amusement."Isn' tha' right,Rick?"
Rick straightened up as he finished tying down a cannon, then flashed them a grin."Aye...mos' beau'iful thin' I ever saw,my Emma choppin' off limbs on me Da's ship....she was only a lass firs' time I met 'er,an' a lovely li'le thin' she was, eyes like a stormy sea,'air down t'er waist, blood all o'er 'er clothes an' shoutin' a' th' survivors t'drop their weapons...Fell in love righ' then,I did..."He chuckled softly, kissing her on the forehead.
She blushed slightly, but didn't look entirely displeased."Oh,stop it,Rick,"she said, slipping out under his arms and pushing him away from her lightly. She grinned at the mock-hurt look he sent her way."C'mon, let's get back t'work..."
"Aye...aye..."He looked around to see what needed to be done, then headed up into the rigging. Before he started to climb,a small sigh escaped him.
"I 'ope they're all righ'..."
Emma clapped him on the back, climbing up the ropes like a monkey.
"They'll be fine,mate...They'll be fine."
Gypsy sat back against the gunwhale, her arms folded. There wasn't really much work to be done with the ship underway. Not that she cared;she didn't exactly enjoy working, but anything was better than just sitting around. She thought about going to sleep, but wasn't tired, and doubted she'd be able to sleep anyway with Selina and Damien in the next cabin.Honestly...some women...
She crossed her legs, glaring up at the stars...those spiteful stars that seemed to curse every step she made. Her fingers tapped idly on the top of a deck of cards-the one that wasn't rigged.
The young lady didn't really care for anyone in her new crew.Barbossa...well...he was a man,and he told her what to do.That alone made him a candidate for her loathing, though she would bear it straight-faced for the sake of having a life slightly better than the one she'd left behind.Damien gave her the chills, and Selina was little better than the ladies of Tortuga...
She was alone. Here as everywhere, there was never any companion for a young,world-weary Gypsy.

(sorry it's taken me a bit to post mates ,the site was down for a day, and I couldn't get on sooner....)
:Jack had come back on deck, and closed his eyes for just a few moments. Oh if the sea could sing and tell him where to find his ship he'd be grateful forever.:
:But no tell tale song rose to his ears.....only a dull crashing of waves.........He sighed and returned to Will: "Well mte....we're in for a long trip." He looked out towards the sea: "Sorry, mate. I honestly didn't mean to drag you along.....but..."
:Jack stumbled on his words: "You love Elizabeth with all your heart, right?" He looked at Will: "And when you're in Port Royale with her, that's your home right?"
"Well, mate. home for some of us isn't so much a place as it the people who make it, and the things ye do...the Pearl is my home. and it's crew is my family.......that's why I've not got the time to drop you off back home....."
;He paused a second and looked on as Eric left, then back at Will, acting as if this entire conversation hadn't taken place: "best arm your friend Eric there for a battle.....get him a sword, or a pistol.....savvy?"
:and with that, Jack took command of his ship once more, ready to keep it on course till morning.....and by then, with any luck, his dark eyes would see black sails on the horizon:

(*Grins innocently* Awww come on Emma... if I remember correctly, YOU were the one that wound up preggers in the last rpg, so you can't really talk *sticks out tongue and taunts*)
::Barbossa wandered around on the deck of the Black Pearl for a while, enjoying the feeling of having her in his grasps once again, and trying to keep his mind off of other things. Yet as he stared out over the dark waters his thoughts drifted to his most mysterious crew mate: Damien Vichini::
::He still didn't understand the full purpose of his coming along on this journey. All the pirate knew was that there was some connection between the Italian and Jack Sparrow. But what? What could possibly exist between two such different men? Money, a woman, family? None of these things seemed to be able to explain the conundrum, however, and Barbossa eventually settled on confronting Damien about it later::
"Sigh.... then there be Selina...."
::Beautiful though she was, or perhaps because of it, Barbossa tried to keep his distance from her. Whenever she was around, he felt uneasy, confined.... For once he was glad she seemed to fancy Damien rather than himself, as he didn't know how long he'd be able to control himself around her::
::Sighing again, he continued walking until he found his way down to the brig. Having nothing else to do, he decided to pay a visit to his captives, perhaps attempt to squeeze some information out of them. Blushing slightly at the odd sounds coming from down the hall in what he assumed to be Selina's room, Bossa unlocked the door and walked down to the cells::

// yes! The site's working! it wasn't the other day. //
Roux smiled. the sun was slowly rising. Mortal eyes probably couldn't see it. But Roux could feel it. He knew the sun was just beyond the horizon line. knew it would soon lighten the deep blue sky to a pale gray blue, then burst alive with rose, gold, lavender and white. Then green blue, to blue.
He smiled, and turned his face towards the sun, eyes closed, a small smile on his face. How could he describe in words what the warmth, passion and fire of the sun meant to him? it was raw, and alive and love. It was his life.
just as the sun's very first light snuck over the horizon, Roux's eyes snapped open. Gold and burning and filled with light. He didn't bother to remove himself from the deck. He needed to be in the sky. He had to be. for more reasons then he could explain. Instead, he simple stepped behind a crate and a few barrels and then shot into the sky.
He was alive! And looking for the Black Pearl. for the missing crew. He'd come back and gently suggest what to do from there once he got back. but he needed the sun right now. and he raced for it's heart. For the warmth he sought.

< Diana had screamed as Damein attacked hawk, then raced to Hawk's side the moment he'd fallen. She watched Damein leave and shouted a few choice curse words at him>
"Hawk? Hawk?" He questioned him, then tore her sleeve to put over the wound. "Mate, that looks bad."
<Her eyes still searched the room. They had to get out of here. now! where was Jack? Where was Fishy? if only she knew how to swim better. She bit her lip and pressed down on Hawk's wound>
"I'll get us out of here, mate. I promise." <Her voice was a whisper if it was anything and she froze suddenly. she could hear someone coming down the steps.>

Hawk's world spun around him as his eyes cracked open a centimeter or two. He saw fuzzy shapes all around him, and one prominent one very close by..."Diana?" he asked woozily, trying to steady himself but feeling too weak. He felt as though all the energy had been drained out of him, like his very essence was leaving his body. "So...so..." Unable to finish, Hawk collapsed again, his eyes closing to blissful unconsciousness.
Orestes groaned, peeking in every cabin he could find. He took his eyes off Rose for one second and she left...he finally peeked into one cabin to find her curled up on the cot, fast asleep.
Orestes watched her, a small smile creeping onto his face. She needed her sleep, that much was obvious; whereas Hawk could work in any condition, Rose had so much energy she needed to recharge every chance she got. He studied her face; she was shaping up to be as beautiful as her mother had been. She had her mother's stormy grey eyes and her fair delicate features, with Jack's strong nose, stubborn chin, and crazy grin. She also had Jack's personality. Energy, pride, fighting skills, stubbornness, beauty, charisma, and a touch of madness...all the qualities a young god could wish for in a young woman.
Orestes blinked at himself and shook his head, closing Rose's cabin's door. The last mortal woman he'd loved was Katarina, and see where that had gotten him. There was no use in falling into the same trap twice, especially with Katarina's own daughter...
The young god came back onto deck and stood near the wheel of the Pearl, the wind whipping his short golden brown hair back, his honey brown eyes pensive, unaware he stood close to Jack Sparrow...

:Jack looked at Orestes. The young man seemed a bit......well...he looked like Jack looked if he had a bit to many mugs of rum and had just been asked a very hard question. Or had just gotten punched squarly in the face. And hadn't registered the impact:
"Almost morning." Jack said by way of conversation. If the young man didn't wantt o be distrubed, then he wouldn't trouble him. He did, after all, have his own thoughts of the Pearl on his mind. But Orestes was a new person, Jack liked to know a bit about his crew. Orestes was no exception to the rule. He wanted to know just what this man was here for:

Startled, Orestes turned to look at Jack, the oldest member of the family he was bound to. The tiniest smidgen of Jack's blood ran through his veins, the young god discovered; it was a strange feeling. "Indeed, 'tis almost morning." Orestes smiled a bit and glanced back out at the sea.
"It's beautiful..." he murmured softly. "It holds so much mystery, so much strength and power...yet so much calmness, so much beauty..." He grinned a bit and shook his head. "I should've been a bloody poet, 'stead of a pirate..." He was shocked, inwardly, at hearing his voice adapt a touch of the rough pirate accent many of the crewmembers had. "Sometimes I wonder why I waited so long to choose this life," he added. "I suppose the song's true...a pirate's life for me..." He idly wondered if Jack would follow his ramblings; Hermes had always had a tendency to think out loud.

:Jack, who rambled incoherently all his life and would never stop probably until the day he died and take the speech with him into the afterlife only nodded........Orestes's ramblings made more sense to Jack then plain speech.....:
:The pirate gave Orestes a sidelong stare.: "ye look like yer a traveler already, mate. But never a sailor." He was silent a long while. "Ye remind me of Mr. Turner. Honorable and upstanding. But you have a bit of pirate inside you that's not easily ignored."
:Jack's mouth curled into a smile, a knowing smirk really.: "but yer in good company now....."

Apollo soared, all but turning into fire himself. and he stopped just short of touching the sun itself. He bathed in it's glow, drinking in the light like a man dying of thirst.
it filled his heart like nothing else could. and he glowed from the fire, the wild raw energy. Then he climbed into the sky. Rising, taking the fiery orb with him. He could see the Black Pearl below. The Hell's Revenge was just far enough away to not see the black sails.
Apollo frowned, and dipped closer. Where was Kora and Fishy, Hawk and Diana? He wanted to go and get them now. but his brother, he was sure, would want to have a say in the matter. instead he sighed, and waited in th sky for a hour or more.
Then he dropped, aiming for the Hell's Revenge. When he landed on deck, he was silent. He was still warm, faintly, very very faintly glowing from his sky bound trip. His eyes changing from gold to hazel in a matter of seconds.
Without the Sun, Apollo felt sure he would die. The lack of sun during the night made him feel weak. god or not, he needed the Sun's light.

Orestes looked surprised. "I've never left my home for very long until I came aboard here," he confided, leaning his chin on his hand thoughtfully. "I'm thinking about staying longer though, if the crew'll have me. Too fun of a life I've had to leave behind..."
He paused for a while. This was his chance to tell Jack everything...or at least try to get somewhat closer to the man. He only knew him by listening to his father, or watching him from Olympus...this was his first time actually speaking to the infamous Jack Sparrow, and truth be told he liked the man.
"I heard you talking to Will about his wife..." Orestes said slowly, delicately. "'ve you ever had...someone like that? You don't have to answer," he adds hurriedly, suddenly worried Jack will think he's too nosy. "'m just curious..." At the same time, he sends a very gentle undercurrent of trust in Jack's direction. He wants the man to trust him on his own terms...but a little help never hurt...

:Jack was silent for a long moment. dead silent:
"I loved a young lady once. A long time ago. her name was Katrina......." He wondered why on Earth he was telling Orestes something he'd never shared with anyone.
"she was....a beautiful lady.......really a beautiful lady. But...I was younger then. Not very...well. I wasn't...and I suppose, am still not....ready to give up the Sea. the Black Pearl's my life....and I don't think Katrina was willing to leave land...she wouldn't have lasted very long. She was strong..but....the Sea's a hard place to live......."
:Jack's eyes grew distant: "and...I left her........I figured, she could get on with life if I just left her alone.......let her forget me......she's probably married now.....and happy.....well looked after......like she deserves....."
:Jack shook his head, and then glanced at Orestes: "Will's a lucky man....got a bit of the Sea in him..but calm enough to make a family for himself......"#nosmileys#nosmileys

Orestes stiffened as Jack spoke. He'd never known if Jack had loved Katarina or not...he knew of course of the woman's devotion to Jack...but now he knew the whole truth...and he knew he owed it to Katarina and her twins to speak now.
"A year after you left her," Orestes said slowly, "Katarina bore you twin children." He turned to face Jack, his eyes glinting gold in the moonlight. It was now or never, he told himself. "She mourned your departure...she swore to herself she'd never love another man, and she stayed true to her vow...to you...even when singled out for an offer few women recieve, she refused to love another man. She died two and a half years ago...she raised her children on stories of their famous father. The twins are grown now, following in your footsteps..."
