Hawk grinned broadly; the girl had spirit and skill. "Good on ya, mate...I'll take the spear." He does so, running his fingers over it, then twirling and thrusting at the air a bit. "What're we gonna do with Kora?" he asks, a bit concernedly as he toys with the spear.

(OOC - Hey Rose, I tried to talk to you before I did this, but you disappeared too quick. I'll send you a PM, so make sure you read that first, ok? Thanks...)
::Barbossa shook his head. He was beginning to think that bringing Damien along had been a very bad idea. But it wasn't like he'd had a choice - the man was very persuasive::
He turned his head when he heard Selina approaching. The moonlight did wonders for her already stunning features, and it took quite a bit of self-control to keep from giving into his urges. Instead, he nodded his head and smiled at her::
"Indeed, we couldnta pulled it off without ye lass. Ye get a real gift fer drawin' attention." ::He grinned knowingly, then looked out over the water::
"Ta be honest, and tha's not easy fer a pirate, I'm worried about Damien. There's somethin' not right about 'im, an' I think ye've noticed it too. Listen... I want ye ta find out what 'e's hidin' from all o' us. I don' care what it takes, just get it done. Understand?"
::In his haste to get below deck, Damien didn't see Selina until it was too late. He turned the corner and nearly bumped into her. But he didn't care. All he could think about was feeding....there had to be a way!::
:: Pushing past her, he continued on toward the crew cabins, hoping that there would be a lone stragler he could pick off with no one noticing. But no, that was too risky! Then it dawned on him. The prisoners!!::
::A twisted grin spread across his face and he took off toward the brig. He'd overheard some of the pirates talking when he'd first woken up. They had taken three of Sparrow's mate captive - one male and two women. He'd even heard one of the girls was sick....No one would miss them. This was too perfect::
::He snuck downstairs and crept silently past the sleeping guard. Taking the key ring from a hook on the wall, Damien began to unlock the door leading to the cells. His fingers were shaking with Hunger, but he was finally able to turn the lock::
::He closed the door behind him, and was surprised to hear voices. They sounded almost cheerful... something wasnt right. He crept down the stairs, careful not to make a sound, until he could clearly see the figures in the dim light::
:: One was lying on the floor motionless - the sick woman - and the other two were standing next to an open chest handling weapons. Damien smirked::
"What clever little rats you are, to have gotten out of your cages. But, unfortunately for you, you won't live to make it out of this room."
::His eyes began to glow with an odd sort of lust. He locked eyes with the man holding the spear, and grinned. When the light reflected off his teeth, two sharp, ivory fangs protruding from his upper jaw glistened like daggers. He began to advance::

< Diana flinched as one of the men came below. She saw the fangs, and took the pistol from Hawk, then backed away, ready to defend Kora>
<she could tell this person was going to jump for Hawk first, and she'd jump on him as soon as he attacked. Hawk was one of her fellow crew, she'd be damned if she let him take this fight alone.>
"you're outnumbered." She warned. "and I'll not let you touch one of my mates." Diana threatened.

Hawk whirled, the spear in his hand, as he heard Damien approach. "Stop righ' there," he orders sternly, but there's unease in his gaze. There's something not quite right about this man...how had he gotten so close so quietly? And something about his teeth...in the dim light, it was hard to be certain..."I'll fight ye. Don' come any closer," Hawk ordered, trying to sound calm though his heart was racing. He tried to edge towards Diana, to protect her...

*Will and Eric agreed with Evelyns plan of attacking the four men around the barrel and they watched with ammused looks upon their faces as she followed it out. Eric grinned as she tossed the hot soup on the man and he leaned in towards Will.* I better not make her too mad, looks like she uses more than a glass of water. *He whispered.*
*Will laughed at his friends words and then watched Rick and Emma. He started to jump forward when he saw that the situation had lessened.* Lucky for me, Elizabeth still only uses water. *He said, glancing back at Eric. His friend laughed and the two men began to cruise the ships deck, looking for any other crew members who might have been hiding. Finally it seemed as if they had gained control and Will smiled as he glanced around.* Im gonna get damn good at this. *He said rather proudly. He and Eric glanced over at Jack as the man shouted out what needed to be done and they nodded, getting right to work. They weren't members of the crew persay but that didn't mean they weren't going to help when it was needed.*
*As Eric glanced around the excitment seemed to die for him a bit as he saw Roux and Linea with no Kora. Many of the other members had went missing too and he slowly shook his head. He patted Will on the shoulder and gave him a nod.* Im gonna go see if I can't arm myself with more than my fists. *He said and trotted off below deck.*
*Will watched Eric go then he walked over to Jack at the wheel, shoving his hands in his pockets. He laughed at the Captains words and he shrugged. He did miss home and of course Elizabeth but he had missed all this too, even if he tried to pretend that he hadn't.* I think she'll understand. But just incase she doesnt...it was great knowing you Jack. *He grinned and glanced over at Smettles as the man returned the jacket, then looked at Jack as he asked if Will would steer the ship without crashing it.* Probably not. *He said, a bit of humor in his voice mixed with a bit of seriousness. He grabbed the wheel quickly and watched Jack walk off after Tobbs it seemed and he grinned and shook his head. That man had about as much luck with women as Will did with being taken seriously as a pirate.*
*As Eric came back up he slipped the newly found sword and pistol through his belt and dusted off his hands. Glancing up he saw Evelyn toss one of the bodies over board. She was deffinantly strong for her size. A moment later she was joined by Emma and he trotted over. He glanced around a moment then kneeled down and lifted one of the guys.* There's nothing more romantic than throwing bodies overboard and I mean nothing. *He said with a laugh and a grunt then propped the man up on the rail and rolled him over.*

Evelyn looked at Emma as they lugged the body overboard. She wiped the sweat from her forehead and then turned to see Eric approach them with another body. As he spoke she chuckled. "Ah, I don' know mate, seein' yer girl covered in blood is pretty damn romantic too." Evelyn told Eric with a wink and a small grin. She stared at the body as Eric dumped it over. "Wow...didn't know ye had it in ye ta toss a body overboard...what are ye tryin' ta prove somethin'?" Evelyn teased and then walked away with Emma, heading down into the galley again.
There lay one more body on the ground and she sighed. "You can take 'im Eric." Evelyn told him non chalantly, she wasn't in the mood for lugging dead bodies around. "I mean, since ye barely helped me take over this bloody ship." She told him smartly as she began to rummage around for something to eat. She hadn't eaten a thing since yesterday, and her stomach ached for something.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Selina smiled at Barbossa as she stared up at the moon. "I know, I'm quite the distraction, no?" she asked him lifting a brow and smiling slyly. When Barbossa spoke about being nervous for Damien she frowned a bit. "Concerned about him?" she asked. She had had the feeling he was hiding something as well, I mean its just not normal for a man to resist her like this.
She shrugged it off and looked to the side. Suddenly the eyes of another caught her eye. He was tall, light hair, fair skinned, but tanned. She could not completely see him in the dark, but he had some striking figures. Selina gave him a smile and he looked her way.
Then turning back to Barbossa she grinned. "Alright. I can do that." she said with a nod blatantly. "I've got a few 'ideas' that might push him to tell me a few things." She said with a sly smirk. "Ways to make a man...tell me anything." She said with a nod, looking out at the glittering seas then back at him. For a moment something told her no, that it was wrong to do this, she really did like Damien and that was very rare. Still she shrugged this off. "I'll get it done, Barbossa." She told him with finality in her tone.
::Barbossa looked up at Selina when she paused for a second, and followed her gaze to the light haired, tan man walking by. He allowed himself a grin and shook his head::
"Just watch yerself, lass. We pirates be a dangerous breed. Don' let yer guard down, aye?"
::He knew perfectly well what that look in her eyes meant, and he made a mental note to stay out of the cabins tonight. //They al'ays said it be bad luck ta bring a woman onboard, but so far I'm glad ta have Selina 'ere//::
:: Damien smirked at the boy's pathetic attempts to threaten him. He took another step forward, and barred his fangs again::
"Don't you know what I am, fool? What chance do you think you have against me?"
::The vampire inched forward, his eyes glowing hungrily in the dim light. Their weapons would have no effect on him, and he could see in their eyes that they knew this. They were afraid, and that only increased his thirst. Half the fun was toying with his prey before he attacked...::
"You know, I can tell a lot about a man from the sound of his heartbeat. Yours is very fast - bubump, bubump... Heh heh..."
::At this, Damien leapt forward, heedless of the spear in Hawk's hands, and grabbed his shoulders. He opened his mouth wide, and bite down hard against the soft skin of his victim's neck::
(OOC-Yes, i stole that whole "tell a man by his heartbeat" line from Van Helsing...so sue me lol. Actually, please don't ^__^;; )
Hawk's eyes widened in fear and shock. All the old legends about vampires were starting to rush back to him, whirling in a circle around his head...he was too terrified for the information to work properly. He stiffened as he watched Damien, then saw him lunge and was unprepared. Then he felt Damien's teeth pierce his neck, and then he felt only pain, the kind you feel when all your strength is leaving you. He dropped his spear and screamed.
Orestes' head shot up suddenly. He gasped, quietly, and clenched his hand into a fist. Pain had shot through him like a firework, brief but intense; it was gone quickly, but the sense of danger and wrongness that had followed it lingered.
Rose noticed, frowning. "Orestes? What is't?"
"Nothing," Orestes said with an effort, grinning at Rose. "Go back to work. I'll be fine." She raised an eyebrow but complied; Orestes instantly set his mind's eye where Hawk was. He knew what the flash of pain had meant; he was feeling a shadow of Hawk's own.
After Orestes had revealed to Hawk who he was, he'd told the young man that to the families he was bonded with, Hermes had always cut their palm, then his palm, and allowed their blood to mingle. Thus they had a spark, just a spark, of divine blood, and he had enough of their to truly be bound to them. He'd given Hawk that choice, as he would give Rose and Jack their choices; after a heartbeat of uncertainty, Hawk had accepted, and become bound to the god.
Now, Hawk was struggling with something unnatural, Orestes could tell. Biting his lip with worry for the young man, Orestes tried to find him.
<Okies..just so you know, I'm really not sure what I'm posting, so, if it's bad or anything, just let me know. As for Kora, so all of you know in case you didn't, she's passed out and half dead *g* I don't know what's going on with Callisto however...someone let me know what's going on!!>
:Linea went with Roux because she had no other choice at the moment. Kora was somewhere on the Pearl and beyond all the aid that she could give her. As they raced through the streets, it was all she could do to put one foot in front of the other. When they reached the new ship and got on board, she was glad that Roux had put her someplace by herself and blushed when he kissed her on the cheek. Before he left, she still had his hand and pulled him into a hug as her tears started to dry.:
Thank you....I don't know what else to say. I thank you so much Roux.
:She let him go to do what he needed as she sat down thinking of things she herself could do. Linea realized that she couldn't do much. She was a thief afterall, not much use on the sea. Sighing softly, she rested her head on her hands and closed her eyes lightly and slowly drifted off to sleep. She didn't mean to, but from the effects of the day, it just happened.:
(Well, all I can tell you is that Barbossa commendeered the Pearl while Jack was busy in Tortuga; Hawk, Diana, and Kora were still on board and are now prisoners; and Damien is a vampire and just attacked Hawk.... I'm pretty sure Jack and his crew are planning to - or already have - taken another ship called "Hell's Revenge." Other than that, you'll have to ask someone else lol. Good luck Sarah!)
Selina nodded slolwy at Barbossa's comment. "I know Bossa...careful mate, the crew might think yer lookin' out fer my well bein'." She told him with a smirk. Her eyes turned to the side once more and she gave the man a small smile and a nod and headed off of the decks, heading towards her cabin to catch a few hours of sleep. She truly had no intention of doing anything out of the ordinary tonight...at least out of the ordinary for ordinary people.
Selina stepped down and went towards the hallway leading to the cabins. As she neared the end of the hall however, something felt simply...wrong. Selina lifted a brow. "Who's down here?" Selina asked loudly but then she heard it, it almost sounded like it was a bit of a struggle. She stepped lightly as she neared the door that led to the cells. Her first guess was that the prisoners had gotten free. She furrowed her dark, curved brows and a shadow was cast over her face as she moved into the darker regions of the Pearl.
Then suddenly there was a voice behind and Selina turned quickly reaching for her pistol. A hand rested on it and held it there firmly. "Oh no you don't." The french accented voice spoke. Selina stared up coldly at the man. "Get your hands off me!" she cried loudly. The man let go and backed away slowly.
The man stared Selina over and he smirked. She was even more beautiful up close than from afar. "Selina, iz it?" he asked in his heavy french accent. He had heard of the woman's beauty in Tortuga, but to finally witness it was to truly know it. "Heading to your room I see." he told her.
Selina looked him over and smirked. He was handsome, she'd give him that, but this was way too easy and would result in a rather boring chase. "What if I am?" she asked him. "You are not coming in." She told him non chalantly and turned to open the door to her cabin. Then she jumped as a slam was heard. The man had slammed his fist into the wall and was cornering her.
"Iz zat so?" he asked looking her over.
Selina sighed, she really didn't need to get into trouble SO early in the voyage. Selina quickly opened the door to her room but the man grabbed the door and slammed it shut with a defeaning slam. Selina thought quickly and sighed she would get out of this yet, she was a master at these sorts of situations. "What's your name?" she asked him slyly.
Gabriel looked her over as he leaned a forearm upon the doorway, leaning towards her slowly. "Gabriel." He answered rubbing his chin as his eyes passed over her.
"Gabriel, right, well...fine. You want to come in? We can do that." she told him crossing her arms and looking him over pretending she was actually interested. "Well why don't you let me go into my room and get things ready first? And then I'll...let you in..." she told him with a sly smile.
Gabriel shook his head. He knew she would attempt to trick him one way or another. "No...let me in, now, and I can help you ready the room more properly." He told her. He wasn't about to let her get away. Even if she was a member of the crew, she was still a woman and he doubted anyone would care if he did anything to harm her.
::Barbossa grinned slightly:: "Aye, an' then what kinda pirate would I be if I was concerned 'bout me crew?"
::He watched as Selina walked off, presumably to her own cabin for the night. Then he noticed something else. The blond-haired man was watching her as well, with a gaze slightly more that intense than necessary::
::His first impulse was to follow them, make sure Selina came to no harm, but then he checked himself. She was a big girl, she could take care of herself. After all, she'd lived in Tortuga, hadn't she?::
:: Damien smirked as the figure went limp in his arms. The young man had barely even resisted, but then again, most of his victims didn't. He continued to drink from the wounds on his neck, feeling his strength return with every drop of blood that passed through his lips. If he didn't stop soon, the man would probably die....::
::Suddenly, a loud slam drew Damien's mind back to reality. He could feel a strong presence nearby, and he suddenly feared he would be discovered like this. //We certainly can't have that...//::
::The vampire stood up and wiped his mouth. The warm blood stained the back of his hand and part of his sleeve, but he barely noticed. He kicked the body of his latest victim and, sastisfied that he was still alive, dragged him back into his cell. Then he turned to the other woman in the room::
"Look after your friend. If you try to escape again, you'll have me to deal with. Understand?" ::He took one last look at the three in the room - two of them unconscious - and sighed. Then he turned around and climbed back up the stairs, locking the outer door behind him::
::As he approached the hall, he began to hear soft voices coming from nearby. He began to wonder if this had perhps been the true cause of his distraction, when he suddenly recognized one of the voices as Selina! And she sounded slightly distressed....::
::Having just fed, Damien's stength was at full blast, and he didn't hesistate for a moment. Rushing out into the hallway, he saw Gabriel trying to force himself on Selina, and immediately tackled him::
"What are you doing?! Bloody pirate SCUM!"
::His eyes were still glowing with bloodlust, and he could tell by the way the frenchman was quivering under him that he was terrified::
Selina was just about to make her move when there was the rapid sound of footsteps, and a presence was felt. Selina closed her eyes for a moment as a sudden rush came over her, it could only be one person. "Damien." She whipsered. Then a moment later she opened her eyes to see Gabriel had been pulled away and was on the ground. At current Damien was beating the man senseless, his fists swinging away in a flurry and she smiled.
She contemplated this, she was happy to see Gabriel getting his due, how dare he try and press upon her like that? Secondly she wondered why he had done this...didn't he know she was fine on her own? She watched for a moment and then realized something. Barbossa! He told her not to cause trouble, and here she was creating a bunch of it. She knew if Damien killed the man she would have to answer to Barbossa and would most likely be thrown overboard for it.
"Damien! Stop Damien!" she called strongly as she grabbed hold of his arm, pulling back and forcing the arm to stop. She yanked him off of Gabriel. The frenchmen was pure white, he was scared to the bone. His eyes met Selina's for a moment. "What? You!" the man cried loudly. "You're a demon!" he called.
Selina took a glance at Damien and sighed. Then in a flash she took out her pistol. "Get back on deck." She told him sternly as she pulled back the hammer. The man looked up at her with a bloodied and bruised face and spat at her. Then he stood with a struggle and ran back towards the decks.
:: Damien relentlessly beat at the man below him, unsure of why he was suddenly so violent. Maybe it was the adrenaline rush he'd gotten from his last victim, or maybe the fresh, hot blood coursing through his viens, urging him on. Or maybe.... maybe it had something to do with seeing Selina in danger::
::But suddenly he felt a soft hand grab his wrist and pull him back, away from the filthy pirate. For a moment he couldn't focus as his mind once again returned to reality, but then his senses cam back to him, and he saw Selina standing above him pointing a pistol at the beaten frenchman::
"Get back on deck." ::he heard her say sternly. She could certainly handle herself when the time called for it....::
::When the man was gone, Damien slowly got to his feet and brushed himself off. He looked at Selina expectantly, but just what he expected he didn't know::
