This will take place one year after the movie ends with Jack leaving Port Royal after his near hanging. Directly after the movie.....
Sometimes people should just keep their mouths shut. But well....Jack doesn't know what silence means....as Norrington has tried numerous times to impress upon the pirate......it's not working....a failed attempt at teaching a drunken pirate the rules of civility.....
But as luck or unluck would have it Jack got tangled in with some gods. Greek gods. Well....nothings changed...he still manages to annoy them...and make fun of their togas...I mean...wouldn't you? I know I would! This could get interesting.
While sailing out of Tortuga on the Black Pearl Jack and his crew come across a tiny boat. A greek craft...something that in itself is odd....and inside of it is a young lady. A beautiful lady. Jack, well...being Jack decides to take her aboard. The lady doesn't talk at first, but little by little they learn her name is Callisto, a greek girl from Athens.
And the gods want her. She has the power of foresight....the power to see into the future....and with that she can change fate. Some of gods are alright with this and accept that they aren't all powerful. Nor can Barbossa.....apparently he's alive.....(woot...as if that's new news right?)....and thinks by getting ahold of Callisto, he can gain a power only gods can contain. And with it destroy Jack. Namely Artemis and Athena as well as Dionyus and Apollo see the whole matter as what must happen.
But Poseidon, Ares, Juno and Aphrodite see this as a game and the prize is Callisto and her power.
Jack and his crew and friends just happen to become pons of sorts in the game. Sort of like wandering into the Trojan War without so much as a spear...but without a big horse.....instead it's just the Black Pearl and small army of pirates.....fun stuff? Hell yes.
With the Sun, Moon, Wisdom and Rum on their side you'd think they'd have a easy time of it. Especially with the Rum. But when fighting against the Sea, War, a Woman's Wrath and Love...and a vengeful Barbossa.....it's not so easy.
Jack and his crew realize the only way to solve the problem is to find the King of the Gods and get him to decide. But it's not a thing easily done. Mount Olympus is a hard place to access and Jack has no way of getting there.
Or does he? While some gods are hell bent on being on sides....some just want to play along. Not all of them can be trusted...but what choice do the crew and Jack have? Not much. and besides.....Jack is looking for a show down with the god of wine!
Rules: 1. no spamming 2. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER 3. NO cursing!!!! 4. Common curtesy is a must 5. NO GODMODING (unless otherwise stated) 6. have fun maties
note: maties..this be a loose story plot...some things can change..but it's not likely....enjoy.....

:Jack watched Eric and Evylen. He frowned. but didn't say anything jus right now. He'd talk to Evylen later. And to Eric. He had a rather brassed off lady to deal with right now:
:With a glance at Will he nodded: "There's a few spare rooms.....bunks...find one you want that's not taken and make yerself at home...or as home like as it could be on a ship...savvy?"
:With that he walked across the deck of his ship and dropped Tobbs off in his own cabin, then began rumaging around, firmly convinced she'd wake on her own:

:::Diana looked around, her eyes sparkling, and she smiled::: "Well aren't you the most proper gentleman pirate I've ever met."
::A soft smile lit her face and she then looked a bit nervous::: "I'm not a good dancer." :::Her cheeks grew a bit red.:: "So, well, sorry if I step on your feet."

Fishy smiled back at her, and took both her hands in his. "Well, not to worry, because i can't dance 't all!" he said, and started to attempt it to the distant music. "I guess we'll 'ave t' learn t'gether, wont we?" he said again, smiling at her, as her eyes glittered back.
Just then a gruff voice filled the air, and Fishy broke off and turned. Joe Marrin came bounding into the clearing, panting and looking rather annoyed. "Thar ye are, y' bloody slack'n' no-good sailin' mate! 've be'n hun'n' for ye all 'v'n'g! They wan' ye back a' the 'earl, ye got chores t' do, lil' fish." And without waiting for any reply, the old sailor wandered off back again into the darkness.
Fishy turned back to Diana, clearly disapointed. "Perhaps we shall dance anther time. Come on, ill walk ye back."

*Eric listened as Evelyn spoke but he didn't look up at her. Frankly he didn't know what he would do if he made eye contact with her. He didn't want to hurt her but she was deffinantly getting on his nerves. Finally he stood up and stretched, his eyes following Evys out the horizon and he sighed. With a simple nod he turned and walked away, not wanting to bother her anymore. He figured if he wanted things to calm down it would be best if he just wasnt around her at the moment. So instead he went in search of Will, feeling like he'd be more comfortable with the company of a familiar face.*
*Will gave a nod to Jack then walked off along the deck in search of Eric, hoping that he and Evelyn hadn't killed one another yet. As he turned the corner the two bumped into one another and Will smiled, patting Eric on the arm.* Glad I found you! And all in one piece. Where's that Evelyn lass? *He asked.*
*Eric gave Will an odd look at the mention of Evelyn and he half shrugged, half sighed.* I didnt throw her overboard if thats what your getting at. I dont know where she went, I dont care. *He said, though he was curious. He couldn't help but feel slightly bad about getting her so angry. But he shook the thoughts away.* I've already got us a cabin. It has bunks. *He said, grabbing Wills arm and leading him towards them.*
*Will raised a brow as Eric spoke in such an annoyed tone about the woman but it was obvious there was more to it than that. He just shrugged and allowed himself to be led to the cabin and when the two men got there they both flew up on the top bunk. Will pushed Eric off of it and laughed.* I know this ship better than you do mate, I get top bunk. *He said. Eric grinned at him and shook his head then playfully punched Will.*
You best sleep with one eye open then. *He laughed and plopped down on the lower bunk.*

:Diana looked like she was most willing to try to dance for Fishy's sake, but her head snapped towards the soundo f someone calling them.:
:she smiled sheepishly and nodded: "Alright." :She folded her fingers in his and nodded: "Maybe next time we make land then?"

Fishy smiled back at her, letting his own fingers wrap around hers as they walked back. "Hopefully much sooner than that, no? Haha, picture that! we two, dancing by the light of the moon from utop the crow's next." he said with a wink, as they ran off into the darkness

Evelyn sighed deeply. She was glad he had left. She didn't want him around at the moment. Really...he came on a literally picked a fight with her. She shook her head and headed away towards her cabin. "I'll be in my cabin if ye need me." Eve sighed heavily as she walked by, saying this to no one in particular. She was worn out, and didn't want to hear anymore insults, she'd had enough for that day.
Opening the door she took a glance at her cot and at the seat and desk, both bolted down to prevent them from swaying with the ship. Evelyn placed her head in her hands. "That bloody son of a sea snake." Eve said loudly. She shook her head and in a moment forgot it. Taking her silver chain in her hand she placed it inside a wooden box in front of her, fearing Eric might try and yank hers off.
She sighed, then left the cabin heading back up on decks. They would be leaving soon, she expected, and she sought to be where she found comfort on a ship...the crow's nest.

Rose watched Eric and Evelyn, obviously incredibly amused. Shaking her head, she turned back to her precarious perch on the side of the ship. Toying with her gun, she remarked to anyone who cared to hear, "Y'know, by th' time we leave, those two are either gonna kill or marry each other..." No one usually listened to what Rose said, but she didn't care. The crew put up with her, and that was all that mattered.
Hawk looked surprised as a girl ran into him. She didn't look like the type who'd live in Port Royale, but she was a lady nonetheless, so he gave an elegant bow. "Apologies, miss," he said in a light, perfected British accent. It wasn't his true voice, but it was the one he'd adopted as a "respectable" young man.
Hawk glanced from the Black Pearl to Maria; he had to ask. "'Scuse me, miss...would you happen to know whose ship that is? And how long it's staying here?"

:: Damien was relieved when the taverners finally shrugged and returned to their drinks. He ordered himself a mug of rum and sat back in his chair. He didn't know what exactly why he'd come here tonight. But when Destiny called, he was hardly one to ignore her::
::Massaging his temples, he allowed himself to scan the room, his face still hidden within the shadows of his hood. His most unusual violet eyes roamed over the faces around him, noticing with disgust the sickly drunken pallor in most of their cheeks::
//What a pity. So weak, all of them....//
::Then he felt the sudden tingling sensation on the back of his neck that warned him he was being watched. Turning to face the back corner, he saw another, similarly cloaked figure peering out at him from under his hood. The man intrigued Damien, something about the mysterious air around him drew him in::
//That is usually my job// ::he thought with a wry grin. Rising, he walked over to the man's table and sat down across from him::
For a moment, no words were spoken between the two strangers. They stared at each other, measuring each other up. Barbossa saw a glint of purple under the other man's hood as his eyes flicked up::
//Well tha's odd....//
(OOC -sorry guys, will post more later when I get home - g2g!)

:Diana let out what could have been a amused giggle, then nodded at Fishy: "Well, we can try for the crow's nest, but I don't want to go falling overboard. I'm not much of a swimmer." She confessed with a whisper.
:She had a urgeto explain this a bit farther, but stopped and added: "But I'll take you up on that dance, that's a promise."

Fishy turned and stopped, suddenly, facing Diana. "Dont worry about that, i c'n teach you." He said, noting how his clothes were just about dry by now. He grined at her, finding himself looking into her eyes. Something happened he couldn't explain, and he gave her the quickest, softest kiss, but then suddenly took her hand again and started to run off once more. "hurry now, they'll be waiting for us back at the ship."

(occ-I spoke to Jack about this particular idea. He approved of it. and wants me on continue on with it. Hope nobody minds)
Roux had shaken his head at the whole crew, rolling his eyes with a small smirk of sorts on his face. He loved the crew. Such dramatic and interesting creatures.
He stayed there, watching the various conversations, or arguments take place. Then watched the crew, well some of them, make their way back to the ship. He'd smiled and nodded at them as they approched. Humans really were such amusing beings.

:Koralyn and Linea walked on board the ship and went looking for Jack. He wasn't on deck, so they figured he'd been in his cabin, and sure enough he was. Kora knocked lightly on his door as she entered, so she wouldn't startle him.:
Jack, I hope I'm not disturbing you, but I wanted to introduce you to my cousin. Her name is Rymonlinea, but you can just call her Linea as we all do. She was kind of hoping that she might be able to join our little crew here and I believe some of her skills might be a bit useful sometimes.
:Linea bowed before Jack and Kora laughed a bit.:
'Ello Cap'n, I be Linea. I'm a theif amongst these lands, takin' what I will, leavin' what I don't. I hope ye want me in yer crew, for it would be an honour. Plus the fact that the locals be gettin' unhappy that their wares be missin' pretty often.
:Linea smiled after she finished and waited for Jack's reply. She was a wee bit nervous, and ended up playing with her hair while looking at her feet.:

"Really? you could show me how to swim?" She asked, curiously. "I was never really that good of a swimmer." Her voice grew softer. She didn't want to say much else.
: Diana turned a sort of furiously red when Fishy kissed her and smiled. Thn flushed red. She shivered a bit then as they raced for the ship, she felt the redness increase. He'd just kissed her!: "Hope we're not late!" She added as she ran along, as light as a deer. She could run if she could do nothing else. But being in the water, that was a difrent story all together.
