ok so i wrote this poem as i lay awake in the middle of the night. this is about what Maria is feeling.. oksie doke here it goes...

My dreams have gotten worse
cant stay asleep 'till dawn
the way that I am feeling
seems all my hopes are gone
I can feel the water rising
my body's growing numb
my strength had left my body
the battles almost won
does anybody see me?
does anybody care?
the fact that I am drowning
into my own despair
has not quite hit my mind yet
but something tells me more
is there another puzzle piece?
can we still win this war?
whatever it may be
will haunt me everyday
is there a way to save myself
perhaps there is no way
