Fiona Mclaughlin stepped off of The Golden Phoenix a little apprehensively. She wasn't all too sure what sort of reception she'd get here as she was one of the pirates... though not a pillaging one, many had seen her along the rest of the crew and Captain Emmaline Hawk and attempted to hang them all... but failed miserably. She was proud to say that she and the rest of her 'family', as she called the people of The Phoenix, were very good at getting out of sticky situations.
Lynna Doyle, one of the newer members of the crew and Fiona's best friend, slipped from the ship striding along-side Fiona.
"D'ya reckon anythin'll happen here, Fi?" Lynna asked a bit hopeful but yet with a hint of nervousness about the way she said it.
"Dunno... I've 'eard tha' the famous Cap'n Jack Sparrow is a frien' o' the Gov'ner an' the res' o' his family," Fi said shrugging nonchalantly trying to hide her own fears. When she saw The Black Pearl, her fears vanished. "Lynn! T'is The Pearl! Maybe a fellow pirate migh' help us ou'..."
"Let's hurry and finish our business before anything can happen... we'll want to beat that storm i can feel will be hitting this place soon," Hawk said then was about to go on ahead of the two girls when Fi said, "Cap'n Hawk, wait! The Black Pearl is 'ere! Don' ye think Cap'n Sparro' migh' be o' some 'elp t'us?"
Captain Hawk stopped and looked back at Fi and Lynn, "I don't know, girls. So we can't be doing everything in hopes that he will befriend us, because if that falls through, we could be in bad shape... but we shall see..." she said before taking up her fast, assured walk that marked her as a leader-- their captain.
