It is a cold season upon the Caribbean, as cold as it could possibly get that is, and the Commodore is out in full force. His pirate hunting ways have become quite notorious and many a ship have traveled many miles to stay away from the Commodore's constant, diligent, watch. Port Royale has become the safest Port in all of the Caribbean and the Commodore prides himself on this.
That is...until he goes after the wrong Crew.
Having embarked on a small voyage to sink the St. Clair, the Commodore manages to capture a few survivors from the notoriously crime painted crew. Taking this crew back to Port Royale, the Commodore sets their fates at hanging, but when one of Jack's crew members hears of the situation the plot thickens for within the crew lies a trusted friend and for him, she is willing to do anything to repay the kindness he had bestowed upon her years before.
Rules: 1. Have fun! 2. No spamming, post something substantial that ADDS to the story please! 3. Stay IC at all times! 4. No sign ups needed, simply jump in where you see fit. 5. The Commodore IS BACK!!!! *cackles*
The New Attraction:
We're adding in the RPG outline so we don't have any mix ups. Here y'all go!
The Commodore decides the best way to finally go after this Captain Jack is to simply dismantle his crew. If his crew is taken from him, he'll be a lot worse off. So he'll be gunning for ways to destroy our structure and whatnot, example, perhaps kidnapping Tobbs his close confidante and RUMOURED mate....
So the Commodore moves on out towards Tortuga with that one prisoner in toe in the cells below in order to ask him anything that might come up. Upon nearing Tortuga, they see the Pearl docked. The Commodore of course is excited and others want to just blast the place to the high heavens, but the Commodore decides a bit of intel could be found on Jack Sparrow's legendary ship. So, in attempting to decipher and get more infromation from Jack, thinking he could possibly get information that could lead to capturing other pirates, maps, treasure, etc. He boards along with one other,Mr. Perry, his second in Command.
Before he gets on board, the crew barely recognizes the naval ship that's off in the distant waters, seemingly waiting for something. The crew is sent back to the Pearl, and are just arriving when Norrington stands his grounds in Jack's Cabin. After persuaded to leave by Perry due to the increasing numbers of Jack's crew returning, Norrington and Perry make their exit. They are about to leave when they see Jack, Evelyn, and Tobbs return. Tobbs decides she needs to throw up, so she makes haste to the side of the ship with Evy.
Norrigton and Perry make off with Tobbsy AND Evy, because I know if the Commodore had the chance to take TWO pirates at the same time, he would, BUT Evy's going to struggle in the ship because she's only slightly less drunk than Tobbs and whatnot and in the struggle falls into the water after hitting ehr head on the s. The Commodore wants to go back, save Evy because she's like having problems swimming whatnot, Mr. Perry urges him not to and then the signal to start bombing Tortuga goes off and he can't. BESIDES he'll see one of the crew go diving in after Evy anyways.
One of the crew does in fact hear Evelyn struggling, and dives over to save her.

Pausing with a little smile at Sarah, Joseph let a second or two roll by before he gave an answer.
“I’d love to.”
Tearing his gaze from her to Elizabeth, he nodded his head thankfully.
“That is, I’d love to accompany you ladies to dinner. I can’t let Will have all the fun now, can I?”
Gesturing the two forward towards the dining room doors, he waited behind them like a gentlemen, following them inside. Once there, he cleared his throat slightly in order to return their attention to him for a brief moment.
“Miss Turner, Lady Sarah, I’ll be back shortly. I think I’ll go find Will and see if he’s coming inside to join us. Now, if you’ll excuse me....”
And with a sweeping bow, low enough to be purposefully humorous to the two women, he exited with continual bows, not turning around until he was finally out of view. Once there, he paused and leaned up against the wall in thought. When Smethels walked by, he straightened up and pursued his search outside for the man of the house. Trying to keep from being soaked, he started out near the kitchen.
“Will? Will? Where’d you go man? Expecting to kill yourself out here in the rain? Elizabeth won’t be happy...”

Sarah smiled at Joseph and waited for him to leave the room, then she pushed back her chair and rushed over to Elizabeth. Come on. Tell me all about him. Is he a pirate? How do you a Will know him? Come on. Sarah laughed at herself, she felt like a little girl, almost giddy. Will you look at me? Acting like a little girl? Sarah turned to make sure Joseph wasn't walking back into the room. But what is it you wanted to tell me Liz? Joseph can wait. Tell me what that thing was first.
[Sorry...this was a Sarah post...not a Tasha]

Ry turned slowly hearing his named called. It was strange, they were in the middle of the street, yes, but he had kept hidden and no one knew he was around. He didn't have any friends in Tortuga. Blue eyes caught the hawk circling above him and he spun quickly, "Michael?!" He caught sight of the man as he made his way forward. He had thought that only Bossa and himself had survived the sinking ship. He was about to ask about Selina but held his tongue at the look in the man's eyes. It was one he knew too well having lost both sister and lover at one point or another.
Suddenly, before he could blink, the young blue eyed sorceress that he had missed so much jumped into his arms, hugging him tightly. She babbled nearly incomprehnsibly, but he just shook his head allowing a small smile to cross his face as his arms wrapped themselves around her waist. His icy blue eyes warmed at the thought of having her back, and feeling rather giddy, he moved his lips near her ear and whispered, "I'll have to welcome you properly when we're out of sight of the others... perhaps near a bed..." He trailed off and pulled away from her with a small smirk on his face.
"Well, Captain, it seems that part of your crew is returning," Ry said as he turned back to face the Captain, one hand still firmly wrapped around Tasha's waist.
With the smirk still firmly planted on his face, he turned to Michael. Reaching out he clapped the man's arm, "I had thought everyone died. But you both seem alright, how did you make it?"

Elizabeth smiled as she listened to Sarah’s excitement about Joseph. Laughing a bit when her friend mentioned feeling like she was acting like a little girl, she shook her head.
“No, no, its perfectly alright. I just wished to tell you that my father’s unexpectly left with the Commodore, and we have no idea why he’s gone off running around on the ocean. Silly, I think....but Im slightly worried. It’s just...not like him to run off without word. Unless, it’s something secretive. Perhaps, I think, to do with Jack Sparrow.”
Shrugging, she sighed at the thought.
“Ridiculous, I know, but it was a little guess. But enough serious talk, what’s all this new interest in Joseph, hm?”

Tasha gently laughed as Avery hugged her back. She gave him a light kiss on the cheek. She listened to his welcome back invite. I'll be sure not to miss it. Tasha stood nearby Avery, making sure he kept his arm around her and her hand on his back.
She nodded to Barbossa. You said there were no others? Tasha turned to Michael and saw his face downfall. The others are better swimmers than I, so I'm sure they'll show up in Tortuga soon. We have time, dont' we Capt'n. We still need us a ship.

Michael held his arm up for Cruentus to land upon when he saw Avery and Barbossa. There was also a stranger there, a woman, and something about her kept Michael....alert. She seemed...suspicious. Stroking the bird and feeding it some sort of bloody piece of flesh (of what, no one was sure), Carver threw his hand back up in the air, watching the hawk fly on to enjoy its own free time.
“Hello Avery, Barbossa....”
He only nodded at the mysterious woman, turning back to see Avery and Tasha’s greeting. It was a bit painful to watch, and he pushed himself to drop his eyes upon the floor. Selina..he missed her too much....
“Yes well, I’m sure standing around talking about their return will do wonders, now won’t it?”
It was a bit snappy, and if he really could feel guilty he might have, but at the moment he simply folded his arms about his chest and leaned against whatever was behind him.
“Barbossa, you say we need ourselves a ship? I saw one docked off near Dead Man’s Cove. It’s a few miles out of town. I’d say its best we kill the bastards aboard and claim it ourselves. Looked good as new, and...well, by the way half the town’s running at the docks, I’d say something’s the matter in that direction, and we’ll be soon receiving some sort of firepower. Don’t trust my sight, trust the hawk’s...I don’t keep him for no reason now.”

You're father left with the Commodore? That's odd. But your father and Jack, they're friendly with each other aren't they. I mean I know your father doesn't like pirates, but isn't Jack an exception, or something? I mean he saved your life. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. Maybe they just needed some supplies, or something. Sarah patted Elizabeth's hand and try to smile reassuringly, she knew Elizabeth could tell she was worried too, but she would try.
Sarah smiled when Elizabeth mentioned Joseph again. He's handsome isn't he? Sarah laughed again. I mean I just met him, but, I don't know, there's something different about him. He's charming. Sarah's face fell slightly. Is there something different about Liz? Or am I just making it up?

Unsuccessful in his pursuit for Will, Joseph finally relented and went inside. He’d gotten a bit wet, but nothing inappropriately so.
“Smethels chap, thanks for the door.”
He pat the man on his shoulder as he briskly went inside the main hall. He paused at the dining hall doors when he heard Sarah talking, and managed to catch the words “different about him”. Smiling to himself, he opened the doors and gave another low bow in the direction of the two women.
“I am to report that pursuing your husband is one of the most difficult sports a man can enter in. He seems like he’s lost himself somewhere. Not to worry, however. Last I talked with him, he said he was running down to the shop. Had something to show me, I assume.”
Approaching the ladies and pulling out a chair for both of them, he helped seat them and took his place beside Sarah just as the food was presented.
“Amazing; I must compliment the chef, Mrs Turner. I haven’t had such a home cooked meal in too long a time, I admit. Anything I can get either one of you? ”

Sarah held back a gasp as Joseph entered the room, she hoped he hadn't heard anything. She quickly stood up and dropped her skirts so her ankles were no longer showing and moved towards her chair. Thank you. You said that Will was at his shop? Sarah shot Elizabeth a questioning look. Is he coming to dinner? Shall I bring him some food on my way home? Sarah held back a smile as Joseph sat next to her. She was glad she had come over for dinner. She wondered if Joseph knew about Governor Swann, because she still wanted to discuss his mysterious voyage with Elizabeth, but did not want to alarm Joseph.

“Not to worry, he’ll return soon. He went to grab something I told him to...hold onto, before I left.”
He dropped his glance down and remembered when he’d given it to Will. Keep it safe, he’d told him, keep it safe. And Will had. Shaking the thought from his mind, Joseph looked from Elizabeth to Sarah, raising a brow curiously.
“Well well, I feel a bit of worry in the room. Is something the matter? Have you heard word of the Governor while I was gone Elizabeth?”
Wondering what the governor was up to, Joseph realized he never really could understand a man like Governor Swann. But then, there seemed to not be many who could.
“I credit his quick leave to Norrington. What about you Lady Sarah? Any ideas?”

Sarah slightly shrugged at Joseph's question. She feared the governor's and norrington's voyage had to do with Jack, but she did not want to worry Elizabeth anymore. I'm sure it was the Commodore's desicion, but I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. They're probably just fixing some trading problems, so something like that, strictly business.

((((Ooo ok Jack, I'll just KILL TOBBS OFF LOL you best catch up mister ^.^ ) A string of coughs were the first indication that Tobbs had woken from being passed out. She blinked a few times, eying the surroundings she was in. Wondering where she was, she weakly pushed her arms against the floor in order to seat herself up. Wherever she was, it was cold, dark, and the floor was deifnitely harder than the comfortable covers aboard the Pearl.
“Where the-“
She was still off from all that rum, and so idly she began talking aloud to see if there wuld be a response. All about her was shaking, and while she could usually tell what was making all that movement, she had no idea at the moment.
“‘Oy, where am I? Issanyun’ out there? Comun now, no bein’ shy. Tobbs won’t beun’taurt ye...”
‘Hold your tongue, pirate.’
Tobbs narrowed her eyes and peered through the darkness. She laughed mockingly and slowly began slipping down into a laying position as she had before (unknowing that she was sliding, however).
“Listen mate, ya really dunno ‘o yer dealing with. Silence, is NOT, one of meown traits I carry, because ya see-“
And she continued to go on until finally the shadows stirred. Someone had risen from a seat wit another person (she had no clue they were guards) and unlocked the cell door. She began to try and stand with a huge smile upon her face.
“Now ya see, I knew we could e-GO-tiate sum’ kinda-“
‘I said QUIET!’
And for all Tobbs knew, she was shoved to the floor. Hitting her head upon the wall, she muttered something and dove at the man’s feet. Pulling them out from under him, he fell with a yelp. Tobbs began to climb over him, feeling successful in freeing herself, until an unfortunate sight caught her attention-he butt end of the gun that the other guard had. It was knocked clean against her head, and without another word, the woman was out cold.

Post by Commodore Patrick Norrington on Jul 8, 2005 14:24:22 GMT -5
The first cannon fire hushed itself. It was dead night in Tortuga, and the sky lit up for another taste of the British’s services. Tortuga had suddenly scrambled to life. The Commodore was not a foolhardy man, and he knew there would be many scrambling towards the docked ships. The firepower had been focused on that aspect of the town, therefore eliminating some of the potential threat. However, Norrington would not be trying to destroy Tortuga, as that would simply be foolish to try with one ship. He had decided to abolish as many pirate ships, pirates themselves, and the pirate town’s structures while sailing away towards home. And he meant to leave one ship perfectly normal; that was, the Black Pearl.
“I want as many of those docked ships damaged as can be. I won’t have as running from a fleet of vagabonds and criminals.’
The orders were received, and with a loud shout from one of the officers, another wave was shot. The anchor had already been brought up, and it looked as if most of the docks and the ships it welcomed were aflame (most were destroyed, but there were one or two who had slight damage). Tortuga’s buildings were also somewhat battered upon, enough to show evidence of the attack. The Commodore stood proudly with his hands clasped behind him. His eyes scanned the burning port for signs of the Black Pearl.
“Continue firing until your targets are out of range. Hoist the sails and heave to. Gentlemen, we’re heading home.”
Echoes rang above the decks with the cheers of the crew. “Huzzah!”s brought a form of happiness to the dreary night. Norrington smiled and nodded his head to the men he passed as he made his way to the Captain’s Quarters. He’d need to see Tobbs when they had cleared Tortuga, and only would he let himself relax when that time had come.
