(I've come to make sure Kalin doesn't destroy the Ship. Hello everyone. it's good to be back)
Jason was, as Kalin guessed, buying some practical things for the ship. Extra rope, some tools, spare planks of wood. Things that they could use for a quick repair if needed. He dropped his supplies off back a the ship, and wondered if the captain would like him to purchase fresh water and food while they were stopped.
This thought in his mind he went to the small market area of Tortuga, and paid for a few barrels of clean fresh water, and then on a bit farther to buy bread, salted meats, fruits preserved in jars, and some other odds and ends. as well as some medicinal herbs. Jason was the more practical of the twins and he knew that Kalin would always be the wild one.
it didn't bother him at all. Kalin was Kalin and Jason was Jason. Simple as that. Jason stored his items in the ship's haul and then locked the storage areas shut. it was then and only then, after he finished supplying the ship as best as he could, did he make for the main part of Tortuga. He knew he'd find Kalin in the lagoon on a day as warm as this. But he didn't really fancy a swim right now. Instead he turned towards the shops along the main streets and browsed.

((Fear the Puck! JK. I'm just introdcing Puck back into the rpg world in gneral. He's not going to use any magic here. He's just going to be a pirate, well a fae in disguise. But no magic......yet...and even if he does, it'll be VERY VERY minor.))
::The young man lookd odd among all the typical residents of Tortuga. For one thing he had shockingly white hair that was unnaturally long, and eyes of such pale green it was eerie. He was thin, slender and cat like. he looked like he'd be more comfortable in a fairytale book then in a place like Tortuga.::
::Here he called himself Leesil, and acted as every other pirate would. he saw the black sails in the harbor when he woke in the morning, and grinned to himself. Everyone in Tortuga knew what black sails meant. Jack Sparrow. good, something to do at last! He walked the streets of Tortuga, catching sight of some people he was sure were part of Jack's crew, and followed after them silently, just watching::
::Leesil finally stopped his search when he saw Jack and Tobbs head into a tavern. he looked at the tavern a while, then left. He'd ask to join the crew later on. Right now it was good enough for him to know where the infamous captain was.......::
::Pale green eyes narrowed a bit and he seemed to perk up somewhat about something......as if listening to a piece of music that he alone could hear....He smiled brightly about this. Then his eyes grew a bit darker and he left the main streets, walking with a stride of unnatural grace and balence. Something in the wind was changing......and he wanted to know what was causing it....:::

The waves crashed violently against the ship's hull as they left the veritable mouth of the seas and entered calmer waters. Here the oceans were somewhat tamer, finding their way 'round the ship, instead of insisting on crashing upon it head on. There was business milling about the ship. Jack had awoken and come upon deck and Evelyn had merely taken a look over her shoulder at him as he walked, or rather, swaggered over to Tobbs' location. Those two were a handful sometimes.
Turning back, she awaited their arrival to Port with a regrettable sigh. If it were left up to her, Evelyn would have them all stay upon the seas nearly at all times. That was where Evelyn was at home. Upon docking, Kalin had passed, as well as Jason, and Emma and Rick. Soon most were off milling about the streets and Evelyn headed down to her cabin to check up on the sleeping Eric before she made off without a trace.
The ship was almost ghostly when it was this abandoned. Moving down the hall, she passed the galley with a bit of a lingering glare, before deciding she could go without clearing out the ship's galley now. Continuing on, she placed her hand around the doorknob, squeezed it gently, and turned it clockwise.
There he lay, still completely unaware that the world milled and moved about above deck. The room was dark, dingy, and rather depressing to look at. None of Evelyn's small touches were apparent in the room because after a long argument, she had given into taking all the scarves down from the bed posts, although she vowed secretly that they would return. Walking over to the edge of the bed, Evelyn took a seat upon it, and half a smile spread across her lips. Eric's face was a serene picture of undisturbed slumber. She envied him at times like these.
Reaching a hand out, she smoothed her palm over his cheek, and sunk low to whisper something in his ear. "Eric luv, goin' out. We've landed. I'll see you 'round." She cooed, kissing him tenderly upon the cheek, before standing and making to leave.
Before she did so she made certain her effects were in place. Here, you never knew what sort of trouble was hanging around every other corner.
When all was in place Evelyn made her way on deck, out onto the plank, and onto the docks. The fresh smell of salt was tangent in the air, the breeze was cool, and rum was bountiful. Life couldn't be any better.

There was the soft glow of a lantern as the Commodore made his way down into the lower bowels of the Dauntless. This ship was no doubt one of the most powerful ships in the Caribbean, but he never knew just how deep the ship ran. Shaking his head as they took yet another flight of steps into the darkness he muttered a slight comment at Perry. "Tell me, why are these cells made all the way a the very bottom of the ship? You would think that perhaps the cells would be made closer in order for soldiers to keep a steady eye upon their captives." He uttered as they continued their path.
The lamp before him however, did not flicker as they continued their path. There was the sound of his thudding boots against the thick wood beneath them, however now they were accompanied. "Sir, as I have said, he has not told me the complete tale but I suppose that is for you to decipher..." "Yes, quite right Perry." The Commodore interrupted, turning to him and flashing a smirk. "You were right to disturb me for such matters. I have been seeking an oppurtunity like this." He said with a bit of a fiery flicker in his eyes. The Commodore's large hand held tight to the lantern he held before his eyes.
There was a sudden turn, a doorway, and then metal. It loomed out of the dark like a ghost, tall, erect, and made of iron. There in a single cell, sat a man, filthy and face covered in a darkened beard. His eyes were wild and hair faded now from years of the nature's own decision to recede. "You, stand." The Commodore commanded, and the man glared, but obeyed as if knowing that he would either comply or face some sort of wrath.
"That's him sir." " 'O's 'im?" The man responded gruffly, staring out at the two officers before him and sizing them over. It was clear that Perry was not much of a match, however the strong tall stature of the Commodore was quite different. Even in this darkness where shadows threatened to shrink a figure, his continued to hold steady and proud. "You, Mr. O'Mally." The Commodore said sternly, standing several feet from the cage that confined the animal before him.
"Ah, Commodore...if'n it ain' the bloody Commodore Norry, comin' down 'ere ta pay a pirate a visit..." the man smiled, scratching his chin. "Pirate you may be, but prisoner you are, and soon to be a dead one." He quipped in return, giving a stern stare. "He...erm...talked of knowing one...Victoria Brighton..." Mr. Perry interluded. "Victoria Brighton?" The Commodore queried, lifting a grayed brow. "Ah, yes sir. Or rather, better known as 'Topsword' Tobbs." "More notoriously known, you mean?" The Commodore said rather than asked. "Well yes sir."
"She'll 'ave a bloody fit when she know's 'm 'ere." The man croaked in the darkness. "Will she? This...Ms. Brighton...'Topsword'...she is a friend of Mr. Sparrow's?" The Commodore asked as he neared the cell, becoming rather intrigued by this man's banter at the moment. " 'M not sayin' anythin' else, 'cept she'll be after me sooner er la'er, you wait an' see. So it'd be be'er for you lot to let me the 'ell out of 'ere." He muttered angrily, staring the Commodore over.
At this, the Commodore smiled. "Really? There is no pirate in all the Caribbean I have not caught I have set out to catch Mr. O'Mally." He said. "What makes you think she'll be any different?" he asked. " 'Cause she's bloody got the only man ye've never...!" "Ah...so she IS with Mr. Sparrow." The Commodore continued. The prisoner fell silent then, and cursed everything that lay between the heavens and the depths of the earth. He really was losing himself, the years had taken their heavy toll on Kelley "Malicious" O'Mally. He gave a heavy sigh.
The Commodore neared the cell once more, eyeing him intently. "Mr. O'Mally, you understand that withholding information from a Naval Officer only increases the chances of penalty by way of hanging, do you not?" Norrington commented, casually passing his gaze into the warm glow of the lantern, then tearing them away again. "Erm...er..." "Good. Now, you possess two choices. You either, tell me nothing, spit at my feet, curse me to the high heavens, all the while rotting in this rather unpleasant prison cell, or..." And he stressed the or terribly. "You can, tell me all that you know of this 'Topsword'. Her friends, her Captain, his ship...and perhaps, you may live."

Roux looked up at Lily, startled to see her but glad just the same. He contained his laughter when she burst into a full description of how the crew was and where Jack was.
"Thank you, Lily, I'll be sure to find him soon then. How is the Ship? Still unbeatable then?" he'd heard a few stories here and there about the Black Pearl but nothing certain. He was glad to learn that the crew was together still. He really hoped they wouldn't mind him coming back aboard.
"Could Jack use another pair of hands?" He questioned. "Don't want to be a bother to him. But there's nothing like being at sea."

Rick walked at a leisurely pace through the streets of Tortuga, watching all the people around him. Most of the faces were at least somewhat familiar, either from working together on crews long since disbanded,or passing aquaintances,or people he'd fought due to Emma's various escapades.Honestly,he didn't feel quite right leaving the lass on her own-not for her sake, but for the rest of the people in this town.Oh,well,Tortuga could take care of itself for a bit...
As he was passing through what most closely resembled a business district (which was to say, there were a few less working girls about, and shops and smithies breaking up the taverns a bit),he happened to spot a pair of familiar faces.
"Roux!'Ow've ya been, lad?Pearl's not quite th' same without ye,"he said,an almost teasing note in his voice."Ever thought abou' comin' back?"Remembering Lily's prescence, the tall Scot gave a slight bow in her direction, flashing a smile at her."An' it's good t'see ye around, too!"
After visiting with her friend for a while,Emma took once more to the streets of Tortuga. Not much had changed of late,really...it seldom did.She felt the gold in her pouch weighing her down, begging to be spent...Really,she had very seldom lacked for funds. She stole most of her possessions, and usually got out of paying for drinks by winning drinking contests or simply skipping out on her tab,so what reason was there to waste her money?
A small store caught her eye,and she slipped in,coins jingling as she did.The shopkeeper eyed her,as though contemplating just taking the money, but a hand on the hilt of her sword evidently cut that line of thought off at its base.
"Jus' lookin',mate...don' get too excited..."A sash lay on the counter, oriental silk if she wasn't mistaken. It looked blue at first, but the sunlight streaming through the window illuminated a hundred shades of blue and green as she looked closer. The pattern was fascinating-a tapestry of dragons and phoenixes among the misty tops of the mountains."How much?"She asked, looking up at the shopkeeper and indicating the sash.A slight smirk curved his lips.
"Th' price be on th' back,lass..."Emma turned the cloth over in her hands, wincing internally at the number. Then she turned to the shopkeeper and paid without another word, tying the garment around her waist. With a tiny smile she examined herself in the mirror, then waved and swaggered back out into the street.

Evelyn's feet needn't any direction at all really, they sort of had grown ideas of their own on where to trek across the island. Most of the roads here were barely discernible, looking more like a whisper of what used to be than anything else. Shoving her hands in her pockets she continued on, passing a few stores, taking in the vibrant setting about her. There was definately no place like Tortuga. It was as if this place really never slept, except for the occasional drunken mess you'd find wedged in an alley somewhere.
Evelyn's eyes passed by the dingy, murky, shop windows barely finding the outline of anything worthwhile. Evelyn wasn't too into getting herself gifts anyway really, she had all the jewelry she could stand really, and she only wore rare bits of it. Jangling bangles, studded earrings, necklaces, and besides she knew in a place like this the jangling could just be a lure for any greedy pirates abound.
Finally, after walking a ways down the road, weaving in between several people, sneaking an apple from a cart, and after kicking over a wooden pail filled to the brim with fish, she spotted Lily, Roux, and Rick. "Hello there...fellow sailors..." she piped slowly, as she slid her way into their small circle of conversation. Rubbing the apple briefly upon her shirt, she took a bite, and grinned. "Beautiful day isn' it? A bit too quite though..." she half muttered through the apple bits as she peered around rather suspiciously.

As more members of the Black Pearl came over, Roux's smile grew larger. He was glad to be made welcomed again by the crew. He addressed Rick first. "Ah, I'm sure ou've all managed wel without me. Heard some interestin' tales of the Pearl from Tortuga. Jack's still got the whole Navy after him then?"
Then he turned his golden hazel eyes on Evelyn as she came over. "A fine day indeed. Quiet? You cal Tortuga quiet?" And as he spoke two gun shots rang out from various distances. Someone about a block away shouted and there was the sound of shattering glass. He quirked an eyebrow at Evelyn. "I'd hate to see what you'd call rowdy."

*alwas glad to see more of her friends, Lily grinned at Rick and Evelyn as they joined her and Roux.* "I'm glad to see you too, Rick. But I just got off the ship with you, remember?" she laughed at little then looked around at the sounds that came moments later. *
"never a dull moment here." She giggled. It was fun to be back on land again, and she was enjoying every second of it!*
"have any of you seen Jack or Tobbs? I'm sure they'd be glad to see Roux again!"

Evelyn turned to Roux as he spoke. She gave a smile as he asked whether she truly believed it was quiet and she nodded, then gave a laugh. "Hah! This...it's nothin' compared ta the raucous I can raise every now and again." She commented, giving a bit of a playful wink. " 'Sides, its still early in the day, Tortuga usually doesn't get too worked up till nightfall. Then we'll hear some real noise." She said conversationally as if there were nothing new to anyone really.
The wind was picking up slightly now and out of the corner of her eye she could note a few men being dragged out of a tavern already which was quite surprising, for in Tortuga, rarely do you find anyone to get so rowdy as to be thrown out of a Tortuga tavern.
There were too many things to see here on this rock of an island, and Evelyn wagered that if she had to make her home on any island, it would have been here. There was nothing to worry about really...maybe the occasional man breaking into the home, or a drunken blagard on the street, but besides that it was a piece of cake really. And the Navy never came 'round here. They knew all too well the place was far too infested for them to have any sort of victory here.
Finally, Lily's words snapped her out of her thoughts and she shot her gaze at her quickly. "Ah, Jack and Tobbs, well, last I'd seen they'd headed off tha' way mate." She commented, pointing far off towards a bunch of shops and the like.

::Leesil's pale green eyes narrowed a bit as he walked up the street, seemingly searching something out. But he paused about midway through the walk and turned back, where he found a small knot of the Pearl's crewmen....and women standing about, talking to each other.::
::Smiling to himself he watched them from a distance, never coming within ten yards of them. He just leaned aganist a wall and watched::

Kalin swam around for a while, then finding himself somewhat bored, redressed and headed for main streets of Tortuga. he was far from surprised when he discovered a group from the Black Pearl talking together.
figuring they would all get together and find something to do, like start a fully fledged riot of rum induced madness, he wandered over, a sly smile on his face. his gray eyes sparkled as he came upon them. "A fine day to be a pirate." Was his opening statement. "you know, it might be best if the whole crew didn't converge in one area, one migh think we were getting ready to sack the entire town."
Then his face brightened. "But that might be fun. Let's try that. How far along do you think we'd get before everyone was ready to string us up?"

"Not that far. I'd kill you myself." Jason answered, coming up behind Kalin and giving him a light punch on the shoulder. It really was amazing just how alike the two of them were, right down to the wind blown dark hair, to the gray, stormy eyes. The only difference being that while Kalin's eyes were normally filled with wildness and playfulness, Jason's were normally somber and calm.
*At least one of us is sane.* Jason thought to himself, and smiled at the other gathered around. "So, barring the idea of starting a full scale riot, anyone have any plans for tonight? It feels good to have solid earth under my feet, and I don't plan on wasting my time." He smiled, a careless easy smile that said plainly he was up for anything anyone could dish out.

*Lily smiled at Evleyn* "Thank you!" *She grinned and then her eye fell on one of the shops. Such nice things. Well, she couldn't help it, she was a girl after all, and she wanted some new things*
"Well, I really want to go look around, some of the shops look nice. does anyone else want to come with me? I think my clothes have had enough salt air to put a perminate crust on them!" *She laughed.*
"In any case, I'm going to look around for a while. Do you know where everyone is planning on meeting?" *when Kalin came over and suggested they start a riot of some kind, and see how far they'd get, she smirked at Kalin*
"Oh yes, Kalin. That'd be a brillant idea. just see how much more we can tear up a place like Tortuga that is already torn up and riotous as it is." *Then Jason arrived and she smiled at him*
"Well, I don't know if you'd consider shopping for clothes enjoyable. But I'll be glad to join all of you if you want to tell me where we'll be meeting, I'll come find all of you."
