I have this vague idea of a X man rpg......anyone intested if I start one?
I'm using a SMALL amount of the REAL Xen in the comics to help this first one along....but it won't revolve around them....savvy?
The story basically takes place in the year 2060.....a bit into the future......Mutants have been offically labeled as a hazard to the health of normal humans and have been forced into hiding......(as if we didn't see this one coming).......in fact mutants around the world are being hunted down by a new World Organization (havn't thought of a name yet) devoted entirly to the slaughter of mutants......technology has improved and this Organization as discovered a new way of tracking mutants....
First the Xavier Institute was destroyed utterly and completly.....it's mutants killed of and all evidence surrounding the place burned.....
Having captured Charles Xavier and hooked him up to a machine, the goverments have used his power to track down and destroy mutants all over the world. Now it's up to a small and of frightened but brave mutants to break into this organizations headquarters and free Charles Xavier.
And hopefully safe the world......and have a bit of fun doing it as well.....
Ok....I know....strange strange plot.......but hey....give me a break...took me all of ten minutes coming up with the concept.....savvy?
I'm open in the name to call the company trying to kill mutants.......and any other suggestions.......so feel free to post..savvy?

Sure Jack-o! I'd definately want to join maties. I'm sure you'll get plenty of people wanting to join this one. How would you do this though? Woudl everyone be a different X-men???

here's the trick to it.......nobody will be playing any known X men......we have to make up our own with new powers and diffrent names........lots of fun............

Name/ Alias: Dani Torrini / Stealth
Age: 20
Appearance: Shoulder length brown hair. Honey colored eyes. Wears a short midriff red leather jacket, Black tank top, black leather pants, black army boots, and fingerless black gloves.
Power: Invisibility highly heightened sense of hearing and smell thus making her a very STEALHY opponent. Combined with her self defense skills she is difficult to beat let alone catch!
History: Born in San Francisco California where she spent most of her childhood in a foster home. At the age of 8 she was finally adopted and taken into a home where she had begun to feel very happy. She went to school and had many friends never wondering of her true origin or biological parents. Although she had many friends her studious manner and glasses began to make her a target and at 12 was bullied. Knowing this her foster father placed her in self defense classes where she learned simple ways to disable opponents quickly.
At the age of 15 however, things were to change. In a fight that had finally surfaced in school her fear began to settle in when a boy a bit older than her was planning to make a mock of her in front of everyone. As a result she completely disappeared from view and find that she could become invisible. She hid this from her foster parents knowing they would not like that she was a mutant. In the end, however, in order to seek help she told her foster parents who immediately shunned her. She was allowed to finish school with them but they rarely talked to her after that the discovery of her differences. On the day of graduation she packed and found that she had inherited a VERY large sum of money from her biological parents, she still had no idea who they were although had begun to wonder. With that she set off and traveled the globe becoming somewhat of a nomad being able to fend for herself and only practicing her skills in areas clear of other people. Along the way of her travels her heightened hearing began to develop waking making her jump as everday sounds began to sound as loud as truck horns. A day after her smell became heightened. While the heightened smell only made her appreciate food much more, the hearing would not let her sleep for the longest time keeping her awake all night. Soon pindrops clanged and she sought help deciding to walk around with earplugs, cotton balls, and earmuffs covering her ears for the time being, as they kept everything to at least a normal volume. She met a scientist is Russia who she had written to and asked for help proposing a large sum of money, named Arturo Arishnakoff. Dani had told him of her heightened hearing and her desperate need for something to help her calm this. After a year of rigorous studies and designs, he finally developed for her a sort of hearing aide. These hearing aides helped her hear at her normal tone but in times of need they would manipulate her power slightly giving her the edge needed while in stealth. She perfected the use of her powers. Although her hearing relies greatly on her use of the hearing aides, otherwise wihtout some kind of covering for her ears she would likely become deaf. Dany learned among her travles that the road is lonely and even with the ability to travel it is a home she really seeks.
Changed it a bit thought this would be a bit better!

Appearance:Rather tall,slender,with bright green eyes and long,dark red hair.Wears black combat boots,dusty green baggy pants,green long-sleeved shirt with holes in the sleeves,and a dusty green backpack which looks as though it came from an army surplus store.
Power:Control over plants
History:Born in a small town in New Hampshire,Aileen's life was fairly normal until her power showed up.She was a straight A's student,and capable enough of defending herself that no one picked on her too much.But when she was twelve,she was sitting in her backyard reading a suspense novel when her cat jumped out of the tree she was leaning on,into her lap.She was startled,and even more so when the tree began growing at an abnormal rate.She ran inside,and the tree stopped moving.But the neighbors saw the tree's abnormal behavior,and new that there was a mutant in the O'Hara household.That night,the neighbors formed a mob and attacked Aileen's family.Her parents were killed,but she escaped with nothing but her backpack,which contains a bunch of books,some duct tape,and her CD player.She immediately left town,and has spent a good amount of time in secluded areas of public parks,training herself to control her ability.She currently has no home,simply traveling from place to place,always moving before people can guess her secret.

Age: 18
Appearance: Blond hair that is often slicked back with gel, blue eyes that blaze whenever in anger, medium build, about 6' tall. Often dressed in leather or something red.
Power: Able to manipulate fire but can't create it
History: An orphan who once went to the Xavier School for Gifted Youngster. But due to my hot temper and cocky attitude, I was lured onto the side of Magneto and his brotherhood of mutants. Now I fight against the X-men and all other human lovers.

Name/ Alias: Alexander Tempest/ Catharsis (names may change)
Age: 24
Power: Can heal others, while taking their pain onto himself for a short amount of time...the more severe the pain the longer he is effected. He can also teleport over short distances.
Appearance: By all accounts he becomes a demon when he uses his power. he has also lost control of his appearance when afraid or hurt....it takes a great deal of composure to maintain his human appearance.... Ink black skin, with long white hair. Claw like hands, and a spiked tail. He has fangs as well, pointed ears, and glowing green eyes. With the strenght of about five fully grown men and the grace and agility of a acrobat, he's a force to be reckoned with. In this state he also has mildly heigtened senses.
However, when he's not using his powers he looks quite normal.....a average young man of height and weight, looking almost poetically vulnerable, with a slight build. He had dark green eyes, shoulder length black hair and a gentle face and voice.
History: Alexander's powers manifested at puberty like most other mutants. Yet, he never gives away much of his history. It is clear from his knowledge and gentle manners that at one point he was brought up in high society. But he ran in fear, afraid of what he was becoming.
