OK.......dear God this is gonna look so self absorbed......But I swear it's a random idea.
RULES. 1. ABSOLUTLY NO SPAMMING 2. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE AT LEAST FIVE FULL SENTENCES LONG....BUT NOW MORE THEN TWO PARAGRAPHS LONG. 3. BE CREATIVE. 4. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER. IN OTHER WORDS....BE JACK AT ALL TIMES! THIS IS A ONE PERSON NARRATIVE...... 5. HAVE FUN!
We all "know" that Jack Sparrow is "Legendary" and whatnot....right?
Well......what say all of you to helping me write one of them legends? Here's the catch.....sink into Jack's whimsical rum driven head and tell the story....savvy? Meaning...you can "embelish" it a bit.
Now.....I'll start it off simple. I want this story told as if Jack were telling it to the Turner Kids.......savvy?
The story itself will take place before he lost the Black Pearl to Barbossa......when Jack was about...twenty one. Savvy?
Now go for it!

It all started oh....I was about twenty one...about Will's age when I first met him. I was young....but thankfully not as stupid as Will at that age.
Anyway, I had heard about the treasure on a island called Devil's Den. I know what your thinkin' kids, stupid enough. I mean the name should warn you right? Well.....that's the thing about names. Sometimes they mean exactly what they say....others don't. Anyway....as I was saying...I was young....and at that time...pretty obessed with treasure. Still am. Some things don't change.....
So I got myself a crew in Tortuga...strange bunch they were......

How strange, you ask?Well, there was this one man with an eye made of wood! And a man called Barbossa, who always had this monkey with him.I found them all in Tortuga, and they agreed to come after this treaure with me,to look for this fabulous treasure.
They said this treasure was the most fabulous bunch of loot ever, that the man who found it would be richer than the King himsefl.OIf course, they also said it was cursed, but we paid that no mind.
So,we set off,in search of gold...

Which was a lot easier said than done ye see. First off this island could only be found if ye already knew where it was. But I wasn't worried abou' that Kiddies, no sirree. After all I'm Captain Jack Sparrow. And it just so happened that I knew where the Island was. How you ask? Well you see when I was in the south of spain I ran across this odd man, with a pegleg and one of those really fancy smancy birds, you know, the Big blue and gold impressive looking ones, Macaws they're called. Anyway, this was the self same man who told me about the treasure to begin with. Said he'd been there but wasn't near brave enough to chance the curse to take any of the gold, but he'd made a map of the isle, and he had a "special" compass that would lead you to Devil's den.
Needless to say I was skeptical at first but I listened anyway. When he pulled out the compass, this compass here as a matter of fact. *here he pulls out a worn looking compass that appears to point backwards* I was hooked. I asked him how much he wanted for the map and compass right then and there. Cost me a pretty penny, believe you me, but the way I figured it if even half the man's story was true the rewards would be well worth it. So, as I was saying, I gathered me crew, as odd as they were. Let me tell you, I should of known better than to trust a man what keeps company with a monkey, but I'll get to that later, and we set sail for Devil's den, following the compass all the while....
(it's two paragraphs, there just long paragraphs *sheepish grin*)
