This will take place one year after the movie ends with Jack leaving Port Royal after his near hanging. Directly after the movie.....
Sometimes people should just keep their mouths shut. But well....Jack doesn't know what silence means....as Norrington has tried numerous times to impress upon the pirate......it's not working....a failed attempt at teaching a drunken pirate the rules of civility.....
Barbosa heard many things from Jack before the mutiny. One being about a treasure. A ancient Greek treasure. A Box of Immortality. It's what keeps the Greek gods.....well......gods....While sailing out of Tortuga on the Black Pearl Jack and his crew come across a tiny boat. A greek craft...something that in itself is odd....and inside of it is a young lady. A beautiful lady. Jack, well...being Jack decides to take her aboard. The lady doesn't talk at first, but little by little they learn her name is Callisto, a greek girl from Athens.
She knows the location of this Box. Jack, being a pirate, not a damn hero wants the Box for himself. He doesn't realize that taking it can offset th balance of things in a unfavorable manner.......nor does Barbossa...who's after it as well. Two gods decide to "help". Apollo and Hermes......the rest, well they do not think they need the help of "mere mortals" to overcome something so ridiclous as this.
But Jack wants to live forever....so does Barbossa and the obession is to great to be reasoned with. Driving his crew into danger, Jack's ready to risk life and limb for the posibility of becoming a god himself. That and shot at being renamed the God of Rum.
Rules:
1. no spamming 2. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER 3. NO cursing!!!! 4. Common curtesy is a must 5. NO GODMODING (unless otherwise stated) 6. have fun maties note: maties..this be a loose story plot...some things can change..but it's not likely....enjoy.....

::Jack nodded at Rose then looked at Hawk a long moment then back at Rose. As if he were trying to process what just had happened. He had children. Two pirate children. Poor crew. Poor Caribbean. Poor poor Norrington..........:
:He smiled suddenly then loked over at Hermes and Apollo: "Well......any more surprises? " He asked with a golden grin. Then he seemed to grow serious, protective even of his children. "and why are you two here? gods don't just pop up on ships for no reason at all.......but then again.......I'm not a god......and roux.....well..he's been here a while......."
:He paused: "I'd like some answers."

Selina considered what Callisto said, a bit reluctantly, but it almost was making sense. Damien WOULD live forever...and she...she would turn to dust one day. "Your right." Selina said simply looking over to Callisto. She sighed heavily, her dark eyes staring out at her firmly. "I do not wish to bring Damien harm...and, perhaps, this way I can better...be with him..." Selina said to Callisto keeping her eyes turned away from the woman.
She looked back to Callisto. "Fine. I will help you escape, if you promise to get me to THAT box, understood? I am good on my word, believe me." Selina said with a stern nod. "Do we have an accord?" Selina asked lifitng a dark brow stretching out her hand to shake hers.
She was doing this for Damien...nothing more, and perhaps a chance at living forever. OH and the fact that she can betray Barbossa at the same time does bring an appeal to it all. At the moment Selina was despising the man, for forcing her to do this to Damien, for hitting her, for humiliating her, she'd have her revenge, and what better way than to take immortality from him?

::Callisto considered Selina with softly glowing eyes. she narroed her eyes a bit, and thought a while. Was Selina doing this out of love? or revenge? It was hard to judge.:
::It was a interesting thought.....She considered this. Well.....the Box would give you Immotality...but not Youth......she smiled sadly. Well..if Selina did do this for love.......Callisto shook her head. She had to get out of here. She'd decide what to do later:
"Agreed." She shook Selina's hand. "I'll help you get the Box."

::Barbossa pulled another map out of his desk drawer and rolled it out on his table. He grabbed a mug of rum and sat down, looking over the roughly drawn sea chart with a skeptical eye::
"If we be 'ere.." ::he thought aloud, placing the end of a marker in the middle of the sea:: "..then a day's sailin' would take us somew'ere around 'ere.." ::He moved the other end of the marker a few leagues out. Yet just as he suspected, there was no sign of an island::
"Argh, that was me last map!" ::He snatched it from the table and tossed it into a pile of others behind him:: "There be no trace o' this island Callisto mentioned.... C'n I really trust 'er? After all, what do I 'ave ta lose?"
::He sighed, drained his mug, and tossed it onto the floor. He figured Callisto would be ready to talk by now... if he was lucky Selina would have already ruffed her up a bit before he got back::
::As he walked out of the cabin, he turned to a bored-looking pirate nearby and kicked a mop at him:: "I want me cabin cleaned b'fore I get back, savvy?" ::The pirate blink stupidly and stared after him for a moment before rising to his feet and grudgingly set to work::
~~~
"Selina...."
:: Damien was resting against the pillows of the bed in Selina's room, staring thoughfully at the ceiling. He was thinking about Selina's reaction as he had revealed his life's story to her only an hour ago. She had seemed slightly shocked, but otherwise fine. That in itself was unusual to him::
::He was a vampire, yet she still loved him. Didn't she? Sure, he knew what kind of woman she was, but that didn't mean the night they'd shared hadn't meant ANYthing to her...::
"It meant something to me, love," ::he whispered into the empty air. Finally, his senses told him that the sun had set, and that darkness was taking over. He could finally go to her::
::He quickly slid out of bed and went to the door. But just as he opened it, he saw Captain Barbossa walking down the hall. Barbossa...he hated this man for what he'd done to Selina, and now perhaps he could settle the score. Slipping quietly into the hall, he followed Barbossa toward a locked door farther down. He watched as the pirate stepped inside, then snuck to the door and peered in through the keyhole::
~~~
::Barbossa turned and locked the door behind him. Although there had been no one in the hall, he'd had the oddest sensation he was being followed...::
"Ahh, Selina! I see the both o' ye are still alive. Pity..." ::He walked over to Callisto and smirked:: "I've decided ta play yer little game. Ye tell me where the island be, an' yer a free woman. Savvy?"

Selina became a bit startled as Barbossa walked in and she looked to him. Then thinking quickly Selina began to speak in as casual a tone as she could. "Well Barbossa, you should have no trouble with her, I have already managed to...'convince' her to tell you everything, isn't that right, Callisto?" Selina asked her giving her a hidden wink.
"She'll be tellin you EXACTLY where that island is and we can get closer to finding that box of immortality." Selina told Barbossa with a sly smirk. "So if you'll have no more need for me..." Selina said as she wiped the dried blood from her mouth that had remained form Barbossa's slap.
Then she made her way to the door and left, closing the door carefully behind her. Selina gave a deep sigh of relief and began to mutter to herself. "That Callisto BETTER get me to that Box of Immortality first..." She said with a deep sigh. "Oh...Damien...if only to simply live forever...like you...with you..." She whispered as she closed her eyes a bit and made her way to her room again. She was terribly worn out from the hard day and she stumbled to her room.
Her face was still cut and bruised and at the moment all she wanted was to see Damien and sleep well...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Evelyn's tears had tumbled when suddenly she heard a small knock on her door and then a slight thump. Eve sat straight up in her bed and loooked to the door, blinking in the darkness. Instinctively she made for her sword and went to the door cautiously. When she opened it she stared around and saw no one. Then there...upon the floor, she spotted her boot. Evelyn stepped forward towards it and into the hall.
Her hand closed over it and she picked it up. There was only ONE person who could have brought it back to her...Eric. She looked down the hall both ways but did not see him there. Quickly she wiped the tears from her face and wiped at her nose a bit. A smirk came upon her face. He had brought it back...
Then she turned cold again..."No...he's just like all the rest of them...just like all the rest." Evelyn said heatedly with hurt etched into her eyes. Taking the boot she entered her room once again and shut the door hard.
She tossed the boot to the side and returned to her bed, the aching headache still there, and she flopped onto the bed. No, this was it, she'd forget about him, about what he USED to mean to her. No more would Eric be her concern.
But she thought it over and she couldn't deny she'd worry, wonder, and wait...to see if Eric did anything to smooth things over between them. She hated him at the moment, with a passion, but...the problem was she knew she'd forgive him in time. Even though HE'D never know it...
::As Damien watched through the keyhole, he noticed there were two others in the room besides Barbossa. One was a beautiful, pale haired woman he didn't recognize, and the other was....Selina?!::
"She'll be tellin you EXACTLY where that island is and we can get closer to finding that box of immortality." ::he heard her say::
"The....the Box of Immortality!? But how would - ?" ::Then it hit him. He'd told her all about it, and she must have told Barbossa. She'd....betrayed him! He clenched his fist, fighting back tears at the same time. He'd trusted her, and she'd betrayed him....::
::Suddenly, he noticed her presence getting closer. She was coming toward the very door he was hiding behind! Without a second thought, he dissolved into the shadows of the dimly lit hallway and waited for her to leave::
::But then....::Oh...Damien...if only to simply live forever...like you...with you...":: Damien froze. What was she talking about? Did she....really care for him then after all?? He had to find out::
::Keeping himself concealed in the shadows, Damien raced back to her room, hoping to reach it before she did::
Selina headed down the hallway, reaching her door, then entering almost cautiously. She smiled weakly seeing Damien there. "Hello Damien." She said. Her eyes falling upon him. Selina closed the door behind her. She took a deep breath and wanted to tell him everything she had done, but how would he take it?
She was very tired and worn, her voice was a bit harsh from all the talking she had done, the arguing, and the screaming she had done in her defense that day. It was but another day of making her way in the world. She never meant to do this, but she had to stay alive.
"Damien..." Selina said in almost whisper as she turned and headed towards the bed, taking a seat at the edge of it. "I have, something to tell you, I am afraid to say it, perhaps you will hate me, but please, let me explain myself." Selina said quickly not looking at him at all. She had never felt this way before, never cared if anyone was mad at her or otherwise. It didn't matter what people thought, until now. "I told Barbossa what you said to me, but in my defense he would have killed me! He wanted to know about you! He had only kept me alive because he thought I could get the information from you..." Selina said all quickly as she took a gulp and continued on.
"Please, do not hate me for it, I was simply attempting NOT to get killed today...as is my battle everyday..." She said in a sad tone but clenched her jaw. "BUT! I will be helping Callisto! She will give me...us...the Box of Immortality! That way we can...or...I can...live forever...you know...like you." She told him with a soft laugh. She pondered wether this mattered to him really, I mean she had only spent a night with him...it was heated, yes, but did he care for her at all?
"I only hope you do not hate me." She finally managed to state as she looked down at her shirt. She was a mess and she knew it. Selina touched her nose gently but it pained under her own touch. She had recieved a beating like no other today, and the bruises were beginning to truly show. She licked her lips nervously but they ached as well, the cut in them deep still and she could taste the dried blood that was at the edge of it. "I am so sorry Damien...I've betrayed you...but it was for us...or...I mean..." She stopped.
What would he think of her? What would he DO? It didn't matter anymore now...
::Panting, Damien reached the room mere seconds before Selina. He didn't bother to make himself appear innocent, he simply stood before the door and waited. When Selina walked in, looking ragged and weary, it took everything he had not to run and embrace her::
::She sat on the bed and confessed everything. The vampire was slightly taken aback - he hadn't even needed to ask her. She told him how she'd betrayed him to Barbossa to spare her own life, but that how she also planned to help him get the Box of Immortality. Damien was torn::
"Selina I...," ::he began. But what was he supposed to say? Of course he loved her, he wanted to be with her, but.... Sighing, he walked calmly over to the small sink, soaked a rag in it, and returned to kneel at her feet. Ever so gently, carefully not to injure her more, he began to wash the dried blood and dirt from her beautiful face. As he did so, he felt his heart melting to see her so sad...he couldn't let her stay like this::
"We will be together. Always...." ::He let the forgotten rag fall to the floor as he placed a cool hand on her cheek. Smiling weakly, he leaned forward and kissed her::
*Tobbs shook her head in Evy and Eric's direction and told herself that's why depending on one's self was good...but then, she saw what they had together, and it just...*
'It seems like we all have a haunted past of some sort. And it always rears its head at the worst times.'
*She shifted slightly on the side of the deck as their conversation began to pick up again, and she gazed down at the floor.*
"Especially at the worst times it seems."
*She muttered and glared towards Jack's cabin, but silenced herself as she listened on to what Will said, finally feeling she had actually found someone to relate things with; maybe not exact life issues, but Will seemed to have some kind of different past...*
*She laughed softly when he mentioned the stealing of his things.*
"Well that was because I only steal from the best!"
*Now twas her time to wink and smile. She sighed and nodded when he told her not to let the past hold her back, and as much as she wished she could say she wouldn't, the only way she could really accept the past for what happened was to remember it, in which she really hated the thought of even thinking of it.*
"Aye, I know, I've got ta get over my race with the past and finally face it , not hide from it....but it's not...so easy for me to do so..."
*She looked up at him and a kind of shadow had fallen over her face as she frowned a bit in thought and sadness.*
"And with everythin' 'appenin' on the ship as it is, all the memories I tried to forget are comin' back to me again....especially when tha' current got ahold of me back in Tortuga an' Jack sa-*another change of words* tried to 'elp me....my life's downfall all started with a bloody current....guess the feel of it sent me back in time, eh?"
*She had returned her gaze to the ground and glanced back up to Will before she spoke again, noticing this was more than she ever really told anybody.*
"It's like I'm two people...half the time I tell myself I'm like a shattered glass, I need someone to piece me back together and be there for me, actually care....but then the other half, which I've gone with for years as its saved me many times, reminds me how many times I've been hurt by the people I thought loved me and cared for me, and those I trusted turned their backs on me and 'urt me, and that the world's not a fun place, one has to be dependent, tough, fight for themselves and not need anyone's help, and if someone does something displeasing, to stick up for meself, which is an everyday thing for me really...but I guess it's better be mean and difficult than be kind and considerate...the other gets you walked all over and hurt too many times..."
*She was deep in thought as she continued speaking, not really noticing anything but Will, nor realizing how much she spoke on. She was actually getting something out for a change...*
"Why trust someone to help you when you know they'll be just like the rest? Not everyone's the same, you say, not everyone's out to 'urt me or end up 'urtin' me? Well Will, there 'asn't been a single soul that actually gained my trust without 'urtin' me in the end, except for....my brother...*
*She closed her eyes and shifted uncomfortably again at her mention of her brother...Joseph, she thought rather sadly...and then resumed her discussion*
"I can' trust anyone really...they all wind up bein' the same...even Sparrow did, yer great friend there, just like the rest....and I told myself not to trust 'im, and right when I did..."
*She stared up in Will's eyes with her own gloomy ones for a few seconds in silence, then closed them and turned her head away, shaking it and putting a smile back on.*
"But now I've talked too long! And you didn't stop me Will! We would've been 'ere for hours in the sun! My apologies, I just needed to get a few things said..."
When he spoke again and leaned into her she lifted her brows. This had been unexpected but she welcomed it. "Damien...I, I'm sorry." She told him as she parted from him and whispered. She returned his kiss as he leaned forward and soon backed her up and they both now sat upon the bed. Night was falling once more and Selina parted from him slowly, reluctantly. "Wait..." She said softly placing a hand upon his chest gently. "Do you hear something?" she asked lifting a curious brow. No...it was all in her imagination...she was becoming paranoid, that's what it was. Now they had a secret...they would have to keep it from Barbossa now...
"Damien," Selina began letting her eyes fall to the bed then back at him. "We must be careful now, understand?" Selina's voice was in a whipser. Then she embraced him tightly, in the pit of her stomach somewhere, she felt as if she needed to savor these moments with him and it frightened her. There was an ominous feeling in the air and she was afraid of it. Her arms holding him tightly around the neck. "Promise you, you'll be careful?" She asked looking him over and then giving him a smirk.
She sighed heavily. She was tired and it was apparant, but she knew the night was the only time she would REALLY be able to be with Damien. During the day she'd be about her duties and he'd have to remain in the dark...which brought to question what might happen now? The crew had just lost all respect for her, they'd lash out if they could now, she'd have to be on heavy gaurd.
"You know, I swear to God, if I hear ONE insult tomorrow I won't hesitate to do away with them." Selina said with a bit of a groan. "If you but heard the things they shouted at me...the men aboard have lost respect for me...they'll hurt me if they get the chance, I know it." She stated with a bit of a smirk.
Her eyes met Damiens and Selina frowned a bit, a hand resting upon his neck, softly caressing him. "I fear the end of all of this Damien...I truly do." Her voice was soft and as she looked at him she couldn't help be feel sad and happy at the same time. She seized this moment and kissed him passionately, fearing that she would not outlive the end...or at least some ill ending...as has always occured to her...
Sarah had regained her strength after eating some bread and made her way back to Evelyn's cabin. Sarah yawned as she opened the door and was shocked to see Evelyn inside. I-I-I'm sorry. I-I didn't know, err, I just came back from below deck. Didn't mean to distur...Then Sarah realized that Evelyn's eyes were red and a tear was falling down her cheek. Sarah knew Evelyn most likely didn't want her sympathy, but she might as well try. Evelyn, are-are you ok?
Will glanced at Tobbs and laughed a little at her comment about stealing his things. He wasn't proud of much, but he was certainly proud of his craft. Then he nodded softly and reached out again, grabbing her shoulder a bit. He knew exactly what she meant.* I know what you mean. When Jack told me my father was a pirate, Bootstrap Bill of all people! It took me a long time to accept it. *Will said, grinning a bit, remembering the day on the ship when Jack had him suspended over the ocean, telling him about accepting who he was. Of course Will had spent more energy focusing on clinging to the beam than listening to the man, but he heard the important bits of it. And in a way Will had accepted the fact that there was pirate in him, or he wouldn't be on the ship now. But he still felt more at ease in Port Royal, adventuring out only now and then. And besides, going on one journey with Jack and his crew, was like going on a thousand with any other pirate. As she spoke again, he frowned at the shadow that seemed to have fallen over her. He wondered what her past was, what the current had to do with it. But he figured if she wanted him to know, she would tell him. By asking outright, he feared of rubbing salt in an open wound. Will himself had always been a fairly trusting person, cautious but trusting none the less. And despite the fact that he was rather rash and quick to act, he had a gentle spirit. He tipped his head to the side as she mentioned her brother and Will wondered what had happened to the man. Then he smiled as she did and he shrugged a bit.* You forget I'm married Tobbs. Once you become a husband thats all you get to do is listen. *He laughed, nudging her. Then he glanced over his shoulder back towards Jacks cabin.* The man is insane, no denying that. It's like he lives in a world of his own but...he's one of a kind Tobbs. Not like anyone else. I trusted him, I trust him still. I think you can too. *He said, patting her leg.*
*Eric had just limped around the corner of the hallway when he suddenly heard the door to a cabin open. He spun around and carefully peeked around the edge, his tall figure hidden in the shadows. Enough to keep him out of sight. He saw Evelyn grin slightly and it made him grin as well. But as soon as he had noticed that she had been crying he frowned, and lowered his head as she dissapeared back inside. He couldn't even imagine how much he had hurt her. He glanced out towards the sea, eager to meet back up with the Pearl again. He figured a good, close combat battle might take his mind of things, or a person rather. A moment later he saw Sarah slip back to in Evelyns room and he raised a brow. He lingered for a while, wondering if he would hear a sudden and angry voice rise up from Evelyn or a gentler one.*[/color]
* Maria walked the corridors of the ship. Her red dress swaying from side to side. Most woman in pirating wouldn't wear dresses, but for a girl barely in her teen she found it very comfortable. The dresses she wore however weren't fancy, but rather gypsy like. As the mother she knew wore. She traveled up to the deck and sat on a bucket, propping her feet against the wooden railing and took out a pocket knife. She then began to whittle a figure out of a block of wood she found below deck*
Evelyn suddenly looked up, almost hoping a certain someone would come in through the door but she found the most unlikely, and frankly, unwanted person, Sarah. "Ah, bloody 'ell can' anyone get some bloody sleep 'round her?" Evelyn said angrily and a bit groggily. She shook her head, rubbing her eyes a bit, then blinked in the darkness. "Ah, just shut the bloody door." She frowned.
Then thinking things over for a moment she sighed. "Listen, Sarah, er...I don' mean half the stuff I ramble on..." Evelyn told her lifting her face from her pillow slightly and staring at Sarah. She took a deep sigh, "I jus'...well...men are idiots, le's jus' bloody leave it at tha', alright? Oh and by the way ye can HAVE Eric if ye want...God knows I don' bloody wan' 'im anymore." Evelyn said sleepily.
In fact, ye'll find him pleasantly in an angry mood with me at the moment, so if ye go see him now ye can have a chance with him..." Evelyn told her a bit spitefully, talking to herself mostly, not so much at Sarah. "Listen, Sarah, jus' close the door mate, I don' want ta go on yellin' anymore, alrigh'?" Evelyn said as she suddenly stood from her bed, the pounding headache still there, she headed to the door. "I expecet he'd gladly give ye his cot if ye wanted...ye know since he's such a bloody 'good person'." Evelyn said these last two words sarcastically, rolling her eyes, and giving her a nod. "Thanks for the concern though, 'preciated...nice ta see someone bloody cares..." Evelyn mumbled to herself almost as she closed the door hard and locked it.
This should lock everyone out for the rest of the night...exactly what she wanted, what she needed right now...
