Pirate Lingo
1. Savvy: "understand." however, we sort of use it as a nervous tick here. or a shouted greeting. Either context works really.
2. Scamper:= to run nimbly and usually playfully about. Another one of those things that just kind of happened. Think it was in a chat someplace. Anyway."Scamper" as become a running joke....shout it randomly and see what happens.
3. Monkey Slap:= Again.....I blame Barbossa for this one....and it's partly my fault. I think the story behind this one came from me trying to shoot Jack the monkey one to many times to finally Barbosssa just hit me with it. Hence Monkey Slap.
4. Flamethrower:= One of Barbossa's favorite toys....beware!
5. Clavicus/ Clavicale:= a bone of the vertebrate pectoral girdle typically serving to link the scapula and sternum -- called also collarbone. Again..one of those things that just happens, but I can blame only Norrington and myself for it.
6. huggle:= A mix of a hug and cuddle. Very affectionate.
7. MEEP!/ PEEP!:= How do I explain this...erm...random sound that explains many things. Mainly shock, surprise, happiness...sometimes anger too if used properly.
8. O_o := It's what we call a "freaky face" mostly posted in times of great confuzzlment or when you're freaked out by someone. This usually occurs after a scamper from Norrington.

10. Random shootings: = Ok.....we're not completly violent...but the originals who started this site off had a tedancy to shoot each other in IM chat rooms. First it started with Barbossa...cause let's face it, he can't die. Now it's become a playful greeting of sorts. Can be very affectionate or very violent. Either one...

12. Eunuch:= a man or boy deprived of the testes or external genitals. Hee Hee...had to post this just because I've gotten people asking what that was.
13. Attackle:= A mix of a tackle and huggle in one. Like a running jumping leaping hug. Very fun!

15. confuzzled:= major case of being confused. This tends to happen after witnessing a scamper attack, or being monkey slapped.

17. poke/ prod:= Generally something one does to call attention to one's self. Very helpful if said person is drowing in RPG and nobody has yet noticed.

24. Aye:= Approval or a way of saying: "yes? you wanted my attention?"

Pretty soon a lot of good natured scampering, monkey slapping, rum drinking, random shooting, and meeping would take place. Almost like a Tortuga Tavern on a Saturday night. Anyway....one of us would end up leaving, thus signaling the end of the chaos. Of course we'd all be pissed.and cling to the person in efforts to get said person to stay. Sometimes it'd work sometimes it wouldn't.
29. Massive:= Add this word in front of anything....such as "huggle" and you'd have a huggle times a thousand. Lots of fun.
30. Shove:= This is when you've gotten impatient with a person and wish them to answer you quickly, or immediatly.
31. Shalbdonikle:= Randomly shouted word to express great and massive confuzzlemnt to the highest degree. Normally happens after much scampering and meeping, followed by flamethrower attacks and monkey slaps.
32. Turner Syndrome:= The unfortunate condition of doing stupid things at odd moments. Very dangerous. Has a habit of starting random non affectionate shootings.
33. Bossaness:= the condition of being attached to monkeys and hats.
34. Norry Syndrome:= The condition of unwarrented random scampering.
35. ANS/Advanced Norry Syndrome:= The condition when Norry Syndrome becomes so advanced that the subject begins to see little green men throwing pots of gold and dancing jigs
36. Sparrowness:= The condition of being hard headed and prone to Rum drinking/ seeking......
37. Moot/ Mooting:= A meeting to discuss important matters. However, when two people meet thet can greet each other with a "MOOT!" or something similar. Very fun.
38. Herring Smack:= A fish which one may use to smack dial up connections that are misbehaving.
39. Harriet:= The universal name for an imaginary friend who looks like swiss cheese
40. Woot!/ Whoo!:= A happy shout of some sort....normally results in repearting wooting/whooing until entire room sounds like a load of deranged owls.
41. Scampermusness:= A scary thing indeed. Results in victems having massive scampering attacks, followed by random meeping and other forms of insanity.
42. Fit:= At this at the end of a word such as...."meep" and you have "meeping fit." This means a massive attack of meeping, norally very chaotic and fun.

44. Patpat:= The act of gentle patting someone's back or head. Normally accures after said person has been confused a while, or has accomplished something very fantastic. very affectionate.
45. Children of Dreams and Caribbean Winds:= This is my own name for my dear friends...you know who you are.
46. Prettyness: = The misspelling of this word refers to Barbossa, the prettiest pirate in the seven seas!!
47. The Ebil Bug Killer: = Refers to Ally, who can make those pesky insects go "shplaaat!!!"
48. Ebil: = A very neato way to say "evil." I believe it's one of those Sentance Enhancers...
49. Toy Smashing: = Something many of the RPGers here did during their demonic childhoods. It's actually a very fun past time, you should try it.
50. nsnoer: = Yet another one of Norry's sick creations. What it stands for, we'll never know. However, it is often used to deny Barbossa's prettyness.... They're all just jealous!

52. Meep Force:= The primal meeping force inside of all living beings. Or level of silliness in a person.

55. Turtle Tossing:= Very fun sport. Invented by Barbossa I think. anyway....one takes a turtle and puts a laser beam on it's frickin head and throws it in the general direction of enemy. Very playful. A must try.
56. Seamonkey:= Favorite weapon/ animal of Jack Sparrow. Often used to smack Norrington over the head.
57. Tinfoil Wrapping:= A process that keeps ebil Mind Minions of Norrington out of one's head
58. Mini:= This is a strage process which occurs quite often in the Caribbean. When a person is threatened and seeking sympathy, tha person shrinks and develops large, adorable eyes. This makes said person looks innocent and hlpless. Thus gaining sympathy and protection from any threats. Works very well.
59. Joon= Another way to say friend....quite fun really....
60. "Prayer Hands" := A nervous habit often used submissivly by pirate captains.....
61. "stabbity":= a way to kill typos in most painful manner....evented by Emma...
62. "Potted" "potting": = Taking ones friends and shovingthem most violently into a pot with dirt and soil..if taken care of properly, ickly plants grow....
63. repirated:= to mess up on something but with the best of intentions
64:= "smackle/ smackles/ smackles"= to smack and tackle all at once.
65:= "peep" = a sugary marshmellow treat, pirate often become these at random, the cause is still unknown. also a sound
66:= Irwinism The unfortunate condition of tackling situations, people/ creatures much larger then ones self without much thought put into the effort.
All these words can be combined together to create a entirely diffrent meaning. Such as: "ScamperClavicus" Probably refering to Norrington or maybe just a random shouting. Either way...great fun! #nosmileys#nosmileys
