Name: Jacqueline Mendoza
Age: 20
Description: 5'4 wavy, long, raven black hair past the shoulders. Dark brown eyes, lean, loose shirt and fitted pants with a black cape and black boots.
I was born to Miguel and Angelica Mendoza in Spain. I lived my early years there until one strange day my parents never returned. To this day the mystery is unsolved. I was about 12 at the time and was taken in by my Uncle Juan Sebastian Mendoza and taken aboard his Spanish ship, La Corona, "The Crown". As he had no wife, and no family of his own he took me in and the crew accepted me. I made friends with the first mate and crew members, learning to do many things aboard the ship, but I enjoyed my time in the crows nest the best. I was happy sailing with them until the age of 17 when we had just left a town with much gold aboard when we were attacked by pirates. They stole the gold, killed my uncle, and the crew. One man, whom I do not remember, tried to save me, hiding me under a cot in the sleeping quarters, but soon I was found by the captain Capt. Argus Tolund who found pity in my sobbing and sad story. I worked hard and was given strict orders aboard the ship, but nevertheless was respected like anyone else. I was lucky I happened to find myself on not so savage a ship. Because of my skills I quickly was liked and appreciated aboard the ship. I spoke no English of course, but from them I learned all I know, and there just so happened to be a former writer on the ship who taught me "proper English". I grew to accept and even care for the Capt. Tolund, when one day I was assaulted in the Galley and he saved me. That's a different story, but he watched closely over me after that. I spent three years on that ship known as the The Phantom. When the crew finally mutinied and overturned the capt, and even fed him to the sharks I decided it was my time to leave and escaped that night and that is how I found myself here. So here I am...looking for any adventure that awaits.
