I'll start us off,then, shall I?
Oh. My. God.
:dies:
Elizabeth, you bloody, bloody seamonkey!:smackles her:
:smackles Norry harder, because, well, yeah. He looks better without the wig though ^^:
I have a deep, profound love for Pintel and Ragetti now.
And OMG!! The ending!
Love for Jack Monkey as well.
That being vented, go on and discuss...hopefully more coherently... the new movie ^^
Basic rules apply- common courtesy, and keep cursing to a minimum.

WARNING!!!! MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!
*Bounce Bounce Bounce* I KNEW IT I KNEW IT I KNEW IT!!!! And not a single bloody seamonkey I told would truely believe me!!!! BUT BARBOSSA!!! OMG!!!
Best ending to a film ever... I can't possibly wait till May for the third one. *dances happily* he came back he came back!!!
Jack is so evilness now, its awesome... much more of a real pirate if you ask me.
Elizabeth is just gah... I hate her even more now... -_- stupid girl. Where in heck did she learn to fight like that in that short amount of time! I've been doing sword stuffs since I was 13 (in rl) and no way could I fight like that! And the whole Jack Elizabeth thing just needs to die die die!
Norry was rocking... I dont care if he was bad boy in the end... he looked awesome ^^ not as good as Jack (or Barbossa *whistles innocently*) of course, but still.
Pintel and Ragetti was soooo great! I loved the whole Bible thing. lol
And the dog... just... awesome... *hugs him*
JACK MONKEY! "wheres the monkey?... I want to shoot something." "Look! An undead Monkey! Top that." I want him sooo bad ^^ just adorable. And was I the only one that saw him pawing at Barbossa's boots in Tia Dalma's shack!?!?
Tis Dalma was creepy... but awesome. She got Bossa back after all, and she was hitting on Will XD!!!! Loved it.
And Jack got his hat back at the end!!! Just fantastic!!! I jumped three feet in the air when that thing opened it mouth though. Totally freaked me out.
Well obviously I'm still a bouncing gushing ball of pirate fluff from having seen the film at a midnight showing ^^ and I cant keep my thoughts straight *bounce*

Woot yay now for all my opinions! Although I think tons of stuff better get changed for the third film and that the characters didn't seem to stay true to who they were in the first film, I still think Dead Mans Chest was an awesome movie and I'm eager to see the third one!
-Barbossa is back and gets to eat apples and that is way exciting! He's an awesome character and I'm hoping we get to see tons more of him in the third film....though I wonder how the heck he got ressurected or whatever!
-Jack Monkey is just as adorable and awesome as ever, I love all the one liners about him that Saberness mentioned. I just want to steal him and keep him forever!
-I was way excited to see that Pintel and Ragetti were going to be in this film and, like Saber, I love them to pieces now....though I did in the first one too. I like how they really thought they'd get the Black Pearl off that island by themselves.
-Will and Elizabeth seemed to distant, at first they were all cute just like I hoped they'd be together then little by little they got more distant and it almost seemed like they could really care less what happened to the other.
-The hurt expression on Wills face when Elizabeth kissed Jack was for me the saddest part in the entire film, I was devistated and now hate her for it, regardless of her reasons.
-The whole love possibility between Elizabeth and Jack is so wrong and needs to die in the third film...she should be with Will not him.
-Jack was way too many and treacherous in this film, not at all how I remembered him being. Yes he's more like a pirate now but that was his charm in the first one, he wasn't like the other pirates and now he is...his uniqueness for me is dead.
-Tis Dalma was awesome, she reminded me of a character in a series I'm reading. I like how Barbossa came from her upstairs...wonder what he was doing up there lol!
-I was devistated when the Pearl was destroyed, I hope it can be salvaged in the third film cause she felt like a character in and of herself.
-Davey Jones was pretty awesome looking though when he plays the organ with his face tenticals, and smacks his lips together all weird it kind of killed his scary appeal.
-I cried when Will was lashed all those times by his dad, though it was "merciful" it was still hard to see. *Sniffs*
-Norrington looks more cool this way and is more interesting a character now but again I feel he wasn't true to who he was...I don't see how he'd of made such a drastic change so quickly....same with Elizabeths fighting skills *snorts* though I'm happy Kiera got to hold a sword in this one.
-There was too much chaos going on in one film and nothing got resolved, it left me frustrated and annoyed.
-The fight scenes on that old water mill were pretty awesome, and I loved the comedy in the whole beach scene with Elizabeth chucking rocks at them then Pintel and Ragetti darting past with the chest ^_^
Okay so enough said from me for now, although I complain a lot I still liked this movie...however if Will doesnt get Elizabeth in the third one I'll never forgive the series and will only ever watch or think about the first movie. *Huffs but has hope for third movie*

wow well I basically echo EVERYTHING that erm...Eric has to say. lol I'm so used to saying your real name by now, I'm kinda confused as to what to use. :-P I thought the film had SO many things going on that I was just like reeling every two minutes going..."Wait...what? Huh? What the HELL was that?!" and it was just I dunno. I'll have to see it again I guess to see if anything changes. The whole Will and Liz thing is just all ashambles and I could care less about Elizabeth. The look on Will's face when he saw them making out was just SO disturbing and hurtful. I couldn't believe it. I forgive Jack because well he's a pirate. Elizabeth should know SO much better and I get WHY she did it, but its still no excuse. She could have found another way than to start eating his face off! *huffs* It was just so...meh. and JACK!! I mean I KNOW he's coming back but it was like when he died, I didn't even feel bad for the bugger at all. I do feel bad for Will's dad though. I thought he was such a sad story. And back to Will and Elizabeth, they just seemed so distant and not the loving couple they were in the last movie. OH and NORRY!! I was so mad about the state he was in now. Its like, "Uh, hello? In the last movie you were completely fine with Elizabeth marrying Will." How did he all of a sudden do a complete 180 and turn out this way? He's just too proud and pompous to have resorted to a life like this. I always thought he was the type of person that would rather die than steal anything in his life. I just I left the theatre feeling frustrated and overwhelmed by the radical change of things.
I dunno. Kinda pisses me off...a lot, but I guess it all hangs on this last installment.

The word I had heard pretty consistently was that if you liked the first movie, you'll like this one. The word was right.
I remember to this day coming out of the theater after watching Curse of the Black Pearl and saying, "That was the most fun I'd had at the movies for a long time." I think Dead Man's Chest just took the place at the top of the heap.
Where to begin. Most of my favorite points have already been touched upon, but by the powers, I'll touch 'em again.
Jack Monkey. I want my very own undead monkey to shoot whenever I have a bad day.
Pintel and Ragetti. They could carry a movie all by themselves. Their debate about removing temptation for the good of everyone had me in stitches.
Elizabeth's not-so-subtle hints about her desire to be...er...married.
And the entire sequence where they're trying to remove the chest from the island. All of it. Every bit. Fighting on the mill wheel, getting hit in the head with iron bars and coconuts, tossing sabers back and forth because there's not enough to go around, Elizabeth's tantrum and fake swoon. Even Norrington covered in pig...residue...for the entire movie.
Davy Jones was very impressive. ILM has reestablished themselves as the kings of digital effects with this movie. Sorry, WETA. The bar has just been raised. He was supposed to be the terror of the seas, and he was, but you couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him at the same time.
And the ending! I literally wanted to stand up and cheer! The missus might've taken a dim view of it, though, and the Dear Lord knows we don't want that.
I thought the cannibal headhunter bit was a little ridiculous, but it's only a small gripe for an otherwise fantastic film. It will be sitting proudly on my DVD shelf beside its brother the very day it is released.

I've FINALLY seen it!!!!! and as far as comments go, i read aubreys post and i have nothing more to add, although i do love the whole 'undead monkey' as a gift idea. i wish i had meself one of those!!! and the only thing i had to complain about is the whole kiss at the end with jack, and yes seein as how i know i would have enjoyed it i think she should have tried to hide it a little bit...just the look on wills face when he sees them at it just about broke me fragile heart!!!! anyway, an absolute all-over HAZZAH!!! for the movie!!!...i am really glad that i didn't read the script ahead of time:) thanks everybody!!!!
