One topic never to question Alexis SilverHawk about is his parents... Unless, of course, you would be looking for troubles, that is. And in the same line of thought, do not ask him his age or you might well get a surprising answer.
In fact, Alexis ignores everything about his parents and his first memories brings him back to the first ship he was on... a pirate ship obviously. How he ended up there, he isn't really sure himself and the captain of the ship never gave him the details on how he landed abroad the ship, sailing at an early age through the Caribbean seas. The only things Alexis ever managed to learn from the old captain was that he had found him as a child, saved him from some certain death and brought him on his ship. Though Alexis never managed to get more details and as the old pirate is now dead, the secret of Alexis' origins is burried with him.
Having been on a ship from about his fifth year of life, Alexis SilverHawk doesn't know much but piracy, fighting, rum and island the such as Tortuga. His name, SilverHawk is none other but the nickname that had been given to the pirate who somehow came to raise the boy, giving him his name in the process so he wouldn't die without an heir to his legend.
So, Alexis was raised by pirates, knowing nothing but the ship and the harsh training he was to go through to be able to be part, one day, of his ‘father’ ’s crew. He learnt how to swordfight, shoot with a gun and… brawl in a more general way. He was a talented apprentice and cheerful child, eager to learn more about the sea for which he developped a total fascination as he sailed more and more with his so-called father. He was a good sailor and from the age of twelve he was able to participate in any action of piracy, fighting, brawls and the such, showing more strength than people often expected from him.
But only a year after Alexis had become an official crew member of the old SilverHawk’s ship, it was attacked by the Navy and sank at the bottom of the Caribbean seas with most of his crew. SilverHawk was arrested though with some of his men and hung a few days later. Alexis himself only made it by pure luck. Having been thrown overboard during the battle he managed to climb on the Navy ship without being seen and he hid there until they reached land.
After having escaped, Alexis found himself wandering around the town of Port Royale, not knowing what to do and more than anything, under the shock of having seen the one he had considered as his father hung in front of his eyes. The young boy stopped one night in a pub and there met a pirate captain who was in search for a crew. Alexis enrolled and started his life as a pirate again.
Skilled as he was many believed that by the age of twenty he would realize many pirates’ dream and be his own captain. After all, at the age of fifteen, or around that time as he couldn’t know his age really, he was considered as one of the best crew member on the ship he was serving upon. But Alexis was too lazy and laid back most of the time to be able to became his own captain and he kept going from one ship to another never really settling himself anywhere, but constantly putting himself in troubles because of women.
Now, at age twenty-five (or so he believes), Alexis is part of Jack Sparrow’s crew, captain who he has always admired and is still a rather lazy and casual man, not really bothered of what others could think of him and living life day by day enjoying every moment of his life.
Alexis is a rather tall man (1m 80/ 5 foot 11), not looking as strong as he is. He has rather long dark blond hair which falls to under his shoulder and which he wears in a low ponytail most of the time, some messy strands escaping it and falling in his face. His eyes are of a pale blue and seems to be reflecting the colour of the sea and his skin is rather dark from all the time he has spent in the sun and weather beaten. Most of the time he wears a loose white (though it has gone grey by now) shirt, a pair of black trousers and knee-length black boots. Over his shirt he sometimes wears a long, dark-blue coat which he has ‘inherited’ from the old SilverHawk and which still looks slightly too big on him. His left ear is pierced with a golden earing, forming a circle. On his head he wears a blue and black bandana.
Most of the time Alexis has a smirk on his lips, and his adventurous personality sometimes even manage to make his laziness dissapear. More than anything, Alexis likes fighting, women and rum… and of course, a good sleep in the sun on a beach !
