You may all consider yourselves warned.
Back on the Plaza, I used to expose everyone to my hideous, awful poetry. And I need to write it right now, so whoever's still reading can just bear it.
I'm sorry.

Kalen
I'll never give up.
You can cut me with knives Burn me with fire Drown me in a thousand oceans But I won't yield.
I'll never give in
If you curse my name Tear me down from the shadows Destroy all I have to live for I still won't lose
Never...
If you tell me you love me Send my mind into the blessed, chaotic depths Whisper sweet nothings And betray me...
Every man has a breaking point. Sometimes, there's nothing left to do But give up.
~~~~~~~~~~
Lost Springtimes
All it takes it one word, And all my thoughts scatter Like a million leaves in the wind.
How did I get here? I walked with you all the way And the grass was cool under our feet The view was resplendant before us Only a moment ago Wasn't it?
But it's gone now. You disappeared, and took with you All the beauty of life Leaving me in the ruins of winter
If I wait, surely spring will come again Life will rise from nothing, And I'll be able to see your smile Hear your shimmering laugh And know they're for me So I wait for the spring.
Spring comes, and brings with it nothing. Summer passes, then fall, and another winter And another empty spring Around me, the world remains empty A crumbling ruin falling farther into darkness
I am an island in the middle of it all Only ocean surrounds me, cold and harsh And a thousand springs will not change that.
Without you, there is no spring.
