*The ballroom has started to fill up, and Anamaria notices some of her friends. Apparently, Barbossa has propsed to Saber, and she's said yes! What a strange world this is. Ana goes over to Abby, to congratualte her on her engagement.* Hey Abby, congratulations! You and David are made for each other. Who says this isn't a dream? I'm wearing a dress, and Barbossa's proposed! You can't tell me that's normal. Anyway, I wish you two the best of luck together. May you always be happy. *Anamaria gets herself a drink, and continues waiting, self-contious about dancing on her own.*

*Arayel was still in a state of relative disbelief, and decided what she needed at that moment was... another glass of rum. She headed towards the drink table and picked up another drink, downing just as swiftly as the last. At the sound of shattering glass she turned to see Kat sitting, and looking even more shaken than she herself did. Standing near her were Emma and a young man she had yet to meet. She moved over in their direction and laid her hand on Kat's shoulder* Ye be all right mate? Ye look a bit shaken. *She glanced over to Saber and Barbossa once more.* Though I can hardly say I blame ye mate. *She said quietly as she bent down to clean up the shards of shattered glass.* I wish them all the luck in the world though, they actually look truly happy. *She smiled and shook her head affectionately, still bamboozled by the entire concept*

Kat barely moved when Arayel put her hand on her shoulder. "Um wha..? Oh yes Im alright mate. I just cant believe wots happenin 'ere." She shook her head and bent to help pick up her broken glass. "I mean those two." she jerked her head in the direction of Saber and Barbossa. "Used to fight all the time. Saber even stole Barbossa's gun!" She sighed. "Who would have thought it, would have thought it..."
Saber smiled at Barbossa's comment that it was all very shocking. Then she began to giggle almost uncontrollably when Barbossa knocked Will to the floor with the door. As they swept by Will, she winked at him and smiled. Seeing her sister, Saber almost pulled Barbossa over to her. "Kat, guess what! Bar...."
"Dont tell me" Kat said holding up her hands. "You and the fossil are gettin' married." She sighed and shook her head. Taking her younger sisters shoulders in her hands she gently shook her back and forth. "Would ye mind telling me what the blood 'ell is goin' on 'ere?!"
(ooc- Mwahahaha Im leaving it to Barbossa to answer that one. *points to her comment about Barbossa being a fossil* lol.)

Emma giggled slightly."It seems teh me that ye know perfectly well what's goin' on,Kat!"She turned to Saber."Congratulations to the both of ye,"she said cheerfully,perfectly controlling her urge to laugh,scream,or quite possibly both.(ooc-don't kill me!I'm to....uhhhh....uhmmmm...too sarcastic?Doesn't work...too pretty?Isn't true...Too SPECIAL to die!)
She began to offer Saber a glass of rum,but then remembered and redirected it to Barbossa,and turned to Arayel."Arayel,mate,I don't think yeh've met Rick before?
Rick bowed to Arayel with uncharacteristic grace.He smiled."Emma,yeh've certainly made an awful lot of friends in the time I was gone...."

*Will was still leaning on the balcony door smiling at the new couple when Barbossa opened the door and Will stumbled forward then fell down. He turned over and looked up as Barbossa and Saber went past him, Saber winking as she went by. He just looked at her, grinned, and shook his head slowly then got to his feet. He closed the door behind him and went back over to where Elizabeth was to listen to the announcement, which he and most others had already guessed.*

* As Maria loked at the new happy couples. seeing Barbossa had no ring. oNly beautiful Roses Maria ran to her stuff. She rummaged and rummaged until the found it. A silver ring. engraved with roses. She had stole it from an shop on their travels she ran down. And ran up to whereBarbossastood.*
" E'ere barbossa. I've been watching ." * She held up the ring * " You can give it to 'er if ye like?"

*Arayel nodded to Kat as she bent to help her pick up the glass, and grinned at her comment that all the couple did was fight before* WEll mate, love m,anifests itself in strange ways sometimes *She shrugged then grinned as the couple in discussion made their way over. She tried hard to stiffle a giggle at Kat's behavior. Kat just didn't seem like the sort of person one should giggle at. She stood, with the glass wrapped into a napkin as she turned to Emma, who introduced to her to the young man, Rick his name was.* A pleasure to meet ye Rick, *she smiled and made a graceful curtsey. (just because she was a pirate didn't mean she wasn't raised in polite society, she just didn't care that much for polite society all the time.) She spied MAria come up to Barbossa and offer a silver ring for him to give to Saber.* Aye that is quite the beauty mate, and I believe t'would look right fitting on Sabers hand. What say ye Kat? *Arayel grinned at the woman, who looked as though she had just swallowed something quite not to her liking*

::Barbossa narrowed his eyes at Kat, growling a little under his breath:: "Fossil, eh?! Catch me in a bad mood an' with me sword, and ye'll be singin' a different tune..." ::He looked away, wondering how on earth a girl like Saber could be related to a monster like Kat...::
::Barbossa turned around, seeing Maria standing behind him holding a beautiful silver ring. He took it gently out of her hand, admiring it for a moment, then winked at her:: "Aye, I owe ye one, lass...thanks"
::He turned back to the crowd of people, and cleared his throat loudly:: "Since I know most of ye be bloomin' idiots... "::He looked at Will:: "...I 'ave an announcement to make! The lovely Saber 'ere has made me the happiest undead, monkey-wielding pirate in the seas by agreeing ta marry me! So, I guess this means ye all be invited ta the weddin'...when we decide when ta have it, that is..." ::He grinned at Saber, and then gently took her hand and led her over to a quiet corner::
"Erm...thanks ta Maria 'ere, I have a real ring for you...It's a bit more fitting for ye." ::He pulled out the silver and diamond ring, and slipped it on to her finger. Then he kissed her softly, and held her hand as they went back over to the group::

*As Barbossa spoke Will could only shake his head slowly and smile. Then as he got a look from Barbossa at the mention of bloomin idiots Will laughed and took a little bow. He clapped along with the others when Barbossa finished his announcement then he turned to Elizabeth and smiled at her, kissing her gently. When Barbossa and Saber returned back to the group he patted them both on the back.* Aye, now you get to look forward to a couple of those. *Will said, pointing to two small children who had snuck out of bed to observe the ball from the cover of a stair railing. When they saw they'd been caught they giggled and rushed back to their room. Will looked back at Barbossa and Saber and grinned again.* I know i joke alot but honestly, I think you'll both be happy. *He said.*

Kat looked at her sister And shook her head. "Congrats Im sure, but really i must be missing something ere." She sat down again and put up her hand. "No no dont try to explain anything....i cant understand anything right now. Who could but Jack after downing 6 glasses of rum."
Saber giggled at her sister, but blushed fiercly at all the other comments made. Barbossa led her to a corner for a minute and gave her the ring. Her eyes sparkled like the diamonds in the ring. And she smiled at him. Another kiss followed and she couldnt help thinking that he was the first man she had ever kissed and really ment it. When Will mentioned little ones, Saber felt like just running out of the room. She wasnt used to this type of attention or this type of thing.

Emma laughed at Will's comment about children."Well,yeh know,Saber...after what we've seen tonight,there's not much as could surprise me..."She shook her head,smiling."Never thought I'd live teh see you settlin' down an' all..."Turning away,she went and patted Kat on the back,as she seemed to be taking the whole incident rather badly."How about me after six glasses of rum?"She asked jokingly."I'd only need one more...."
Rick looked sternly at Emma."You had HOW much rum?"
Emma smiled up at him."Uhmmm...Well,I dunno,the night is young an' all that,let's go dance!"And she dragged him back to the dance floor.

Rick shook his head with a slight smile as he looked doown at Emma.He should have known it,of course.She'd never fainted from pure shock before,and being drunk would definitely explain it.Being a pirate and a bit of a heavy drinker himself,he didn't mind too much.But he still worried.He cared about Emma.Didn't want anything to happen to her.
"Emma?"
She looked up."Aye?"
Do one thing for me."
"An' what's that?"
"Don't drink any more rum tonight."
Emma bit her lip slightly,wondering if Saber or Maria had put Rick up to this.Somehow she doubted it.She looked deep into his eyes,saw the softness there.He cared about her,and she knew it.She cared about him,too.So She sighed.
"All right,Rick.If it'll make you happy."
Rick smiled.He kissed her,then twirled her around,breaking the rhythm of the song for only an instant before gliding back into time.

*Anamaria, sick of sitting waiting, decides to do something a little unusual for her. he sees Jack Sparrow across the room, looking more presentable than usual, but just as recognisable as a pirate as herself. She walks over to him, and lightly slaps the side of his face.* No, maybe you didn't deserve that, i just wanted to get your attention, I'm on me own and feeling a little stupid, so will you dance with me?
