*Rhal laughed and shook his head, rolling her eyes at her statement. He ran his hand back through his dark, scraggley hair then stroked the beard that hugged his chin.* 'Parently you missed the key word in yer own bloody sentence, mate. It's yer old huntin' ground which mus' mean it ain't yers anymore. *He said, looking her over. His look lacked intimacy, he was simply trying to size her up, see if he could tell where she kept any weapons.
As his gaze flicked back up to meet hers she seemingly pulled two knives from no where and with a slightly amused grin he could tell that she handled them well.* Alrigh', fine, I'll humor you with an explination, but don' think yer gonna stop me from doin' what I came 'ere for! *He said, glaring at her momentarily before pulling out his own daggar, not trusting this woman in the slightest bit.* The wench in the middle stole from me, took it while I was sleepin' and her services were not worth that whole pouch o' coins. I plan on gettin' my money back and teachin' 'er a bit of a lesson. *He explained, his jaw clenching and his grasp on his daggar tightening.
His anger was mounting all over again as he thought about it. His green eyes flicked towards the trio across the way and he noticed they had by now lost interest in what was going on and had resumed their conversation. His gaze flashed with loathing when the blonde wench waved the coin pouch in front of her comrades then giggled and laced it back to the belt about her hips. With a dainty wave and another giggle she rose from the barrel and made to leave.
Fearing he would loose his chance he glared back at Kat and took a step towards her.* Get outta the way, if I don' get 'er now I'll get 'er the next time I come back, and if I 'ave to come back it'll be worse for her to make my time worth it. Up to you, woman...either way she's a corpse. *He said, his voice low and menacing as he took yet another step towards her.*

(Kat Post!... because I'm bored out of my mind, and I feel like killing something... but don't worry I won't kill Rhal... I promised ^^)
Kat tilted her head to one side, ever so slightly, and her red lips went into just the smallest amount of a smirk. "Oh is that all... I see. Seduced, slept, stole, stalk... common story." She gave her head a little shake. "You men are so predictable and stupid. But then, she was stupid too ta think she could take all without gettin' rid of you. Women these days... gettin' soft they are... Ah well." Kat slid one of her daggers back into her sleeve, and then held the empty hand up, as if to say "just a moment" "Now, if I were you (thanks the gods I'm not), I wouldn't be so eager to jus' kill 'er. I'd follow 'er a bit more, and see if shes got a stash somewhere." He shoulders shrugged a little.
Kat stepped aside and lowered her hand. "But its yore choice. I don't care if the wench lives or dies. It's not me concern." She slowly waled closer to Rhal and stared hard into his eyes, all trace of a smirk gone from her lips. "But know this... Kat is back... I hear any complaints about you while yore in town, and I wont be lettin' ya go... understand?" She held up the knife that she still had out. It glistend in the light, and it was obviously covered in a liquid of sorts.

*Rhal glarred hard at Kat at her little comment about men and then he snorted and waved his knife up and down in front of her as if he were simply waving his hand or a finger.* Look at you, you dress, act and talk like a man....so if we're so damn predictable and stupid why would you want to be anythin' like us? Sounds like you're the one with the problem to me. *He said, his eyes still harsh though there was a smart smirk on his lips.
When she threw him a suggestion he cocked a brow. Clearly the tip she had given him was one she'd done before, or at least he figured she had by the casual way she went about it, as if it was just something everyone should already know.* I doubt the wench 'as got a stash and b'sides, 'M not in the mood to follow 'er. *He said, shrugging a little as well. As she stepped up to him, glaring at him and brandishing her knife he scowled right back, gripping his own daggar tighter.* Aye, it's understood. But just let it be a known to ya Kat that your little threat there... it's a two way road. *He said in a low, angered voice. Narrowing his pale green eyes at her one last time he thrust past her and stormed towards the three women.
As soon as he approached one looked startled and quickly made an excuse to leave, heading off down the road before he got to them. He kept his face masked by sticking to the shadows until he got all the way to the women and then he revealed himself. The blonde haired woman let out a cry and her eyes widened as she sprang up from the barrel. Before she could run he snatched her by the hair and yanked her back.* Ah, ah, ah, love....i'll be havin' my money back now. *He said and in one quick motion ran his knife across her throat and as she crumpled to the ground he tore his coin pouch from the loop at her side, gave it a jingle, and with a grin thrust it in his pocket and strolled away.*

::Barbossa hesitated for a moment, knowing Saber wanted nothing more than to be out of his sight. No doubt she was still under Sparrow's crew, and getting caught talking to him on the streets would only bring her trouble. He knew this...and yet, he didn't want her to leave. Perhaps it was some side of him that felt she deserved to be punished by her mates. Perhaps he wouldn't feel satisfied letting her walk away yet again without some kind of explanation for why things had gone so wrong::
::Or, perhaps he'd simply missed her all this time, and seeing her again now brought back so many fond memories of a better past::
::Whatever the reason, his hand shot out and grabbed her arm with little force, rooting her to the spot:: "Ye can' honestly want ta leave so soon, lass? We 'aven't spoken in...eight years, now? I'm sure there be some catchin' up ta do."
::He didn't even care how his message sounded; whether she took it as friendly, or malicious. As long as it kept her here, with him...at least until he learned the truth::

::Itami chuckled lowly, taking another casual step toward Christiana as he pulled his empty hands out of his pockets in a disarming manner. The girl didn't let down her guard in the least::
"It's a simple game, really. One I play often to pass the time...." ::He tilted his head back slightly, gazing down at her through slits as he continued to approach:: "It's a game to see how fast you can run."
::Fear froze her body for a split second. Then, deciding she didn't want to find out just what would happen if she lost, she turned and bolted down the side street after Barbossa, moving much faster than her frail form would have suggested::
::Itami grinned broadly, crooked teeth flashing like fangs in the midday light:: "There she goes," ::he mused in a singsong voice. That had been far too easy. Though Barbossa would never have allowed him to hurt Christiana directly, it wouldn't exactly be his fault if she were to fall prey to a drunkard while alone on the streets, now would it? And it wasn't like he'd forced her to go anywhere....::
::Smirking to himself, the madman began to whistle softly and strode off in the direction the girl had gone. Who was he pass up a free show?::

Saber almost gave a small cry as Barbossa's hand lashed out. She lurched back a little, almost as if expecting a blow, but he grabbed her arm, and her whole body went stiff. She pulled a little, trying to free herself from his strong grip. She looked up at him, her eyes frearful as he mentioned thay had some catching up to do. He didnt sound angry, and his eyes werent full of malice. But the way he grabbed her arm, and the way the words came out... she licked her lips nervously.
"I... I guess." She managed to sputter. her eyes darting back and forth a little to look about for anyone she recognized. She didn't see anyone, and relaxed ever so slightly. But it wouldnt do to relax completely in the presence of Barbossa. She need to stay alert. She managed to turn her arm, ever so slightly in his grasp. A little more turning, and she would be in a good posistion to break away should the need arise. "So... life has been treating you well?" She asked, with as much calmness as she could muster.
Kat watched, her feet planted firmly apart, her arms crossed over her chest, as the man chased after the girl. She didn't flinch as the man slit the girl's throat. Yes... she had followed him. After he had thretened her and pushed past her, she had shadowed him, and then stood there and watched him kill the girl. A sneer curled her red lips. The man was a brute... no skill or class to his killings. And to just kill her, and take the money... didn't even give her time to beg for her life. If he was going to kill a sniviling wench... why not enjoy it?
"We will meet again dark one. And perhaps then someone will show you what real killing is like." She muttered. Kat turned in the street, her oddly colored cloak swirling after her, and she dissapeared into a shadowed ally. She thought she really ought to find Saber, and make sure she was with someone who could take care of her. Seeing the girl get killed, reminded her that Saber could be just as stupid, and get herself into a similar situation. Leaping up a stack of barrels, and scrambling up some crates, she made her way to the roof of one of the nearby buildings.
Once on top, she looked over the depraved city of Tortuga, that she was so proud to call her home. The buildings were close enough together to allow her to jump from one to the other. So she did. Leaping from rooftop to rooftop, stopping now and then to gaze about and try to catch a glimps of a familiar face, or the bright flash of blue that would signify Saber was near.

::Barbossa calmed slightly, gradually letting his fingers slip from around Saber's arm. Still, he kept her close with his presence - she wasn't going to be getting away just yet::
"Aye, lass," ::he said lowly, playing into her small talk for the moment:: "What with gettin' cursed, shot, lost in th' freezin' mountains, and bein' none th' richer fer any of it, I've at least 'ad other things on me mind lately th'n how much it 'urt when ye walked out on me."
::His gaze didn't falter in the least as the cold words left his mouth. Eight years of dealing with the pain of Saber's betrayal -- the betrayal of the only woman he'd ever truly loved -- had left him rather hard-hearted, especially upon seeing her so suddenly now. He didn't care if his words stung her. All he wanted now was the truth, to know what he had done so wrong to drive her away::
::He needed to know...so he wouldn't make the same mistake with Chris::
~Christiana
::She ran as fast as she could, tears streaking her vision and her frightened heart pounding in her chest. The alley flew past in a blur; she barely saw the unfamiliar faces surrounding her, didn't register as hands reached out to grasp her arm. She kept running, scanning the rush of faces for the one she needed....::
//Morgan, where are you?!//
::Not daring to look back to see if the madman was even following her, Chris took a right turn down a side street in the hopes that Barbossa would be somewhere up ahead. She'd grown up in this city, knew it better than either her captain or that psychotic Japanese man. Even if she couldn't find Barbossa, she could at least find a safe place to hide::
::Just then, in front of the run-down hotel across the street, Chris spotted first the familiar large hat, then the long hair and beard of the man beneath:: "Morgan...!" ::she panted, relief washing over her in a cool wave. She started to head over to him, then stopped short when she noticed he wasn't alone. A young woman in a blue scarf stood before him, seemingly avoiding his gaze and looking for all purposes as though she wanted nothing more than to bolt off at the first opportunity. Who was she...? Curious, and perhaps a little jealous, she ran across the street toward them, not sparing a second look at the girl as she threw herself into Barbossa's arms::
"Thank God," ::she said, hugging close to him:: "I've been looking everywhere for you, Morgan!"

::It wasn't hard to follow her. In her panicked haste, Christiana was practically running in circles, doubling back every street in hopes of spotting the man she feared she had missed. And even if Itami had not been able to watch her rush frantically about from where he leaned back against a building, he would have been able to track her anyway. He knew exactly where she was headed in search of Barbossa, and it was highly unlikely she'd make it through that district unharmed...::
::She made a dash down yet another alley way, disappearing around the shadowed facade of an abandoned tenement. Itami stretched his arms languidly above his head, slowly got to his feet, and took his time in following after her::
::The stares he got as he passed along the street went unnoticed. Even in a place like Tortuga, he was quite used to standing out. Tall, pale, face half-shadowed by an explosion of thick, black hair, his casual yet wide gait...everything about his physical appearance set him apart from the town's regular crowd. No doubt they were all afraid of him because he looked so different. But he didn't mind -- at least they got the right impression from the start::
::Chuckling to himself as a small child scurried out of his way to hide behind her mother's skirt, Itami glanced back up expecting to catch a glimpse of blond hair flurrying just ahead. Instead, he was surprised -- and disappointed -- to see Chris throwing herself into Barbossa's arms across the street::
"Kouhei janaiyo," ::he sighed. So much for having fun.... With a shrug, he started toward his captain, giving him an acknowledging nod before leaning back against the nearest street lamp::

Saber had looked away from him, and took hold of her own arm and rubbed it a little where his hand had grabbed it. He had a strong grip. He had always had a strong grip. He began to answer her question, and she took a sharp breath, and looked up at him very hesitingly as he talked of her hurting him when she left. So... he really wasn't over that after all... "Please Barbossa, try to understand... I'm sorry you've been through so much... but please... it wasn't your fault. I didn't leave because anything you did... It... it was me... I had to go." She rubbed her arm again and looked at the ground. Should she tell him? Should she tell him why she left? ... yes... she had hurt him, he had the right to know. Saber raised her eyes. "You see I..." "Morgan!" Saber head whirled, and she stared as a girl younger then she, ran over and threw herself into Barbossa's arms. Saber stood there looking a bit surprised and slightly shocked for a few moments. Then she heard bitter words come from her own mouth. She really didnt want to say them, but something made her do it anyway. "Oh... so you've had other things to thaink about since then eh? Failed to mention this little thought." Appearently he had gotten over her. Well... she wasn't going to tell him about Cate now. No... he could never know. He probably hated Saber now, and would want to kill the child... if she was even still alive.
Kat perched on the edge of a building looking down at the interesting scenario. "Barbossa..." She growled. The man was lucky... he had let go of Saber right before Kat had shown up. If she had seen him gripping her sister's arm... he would probably be dead. Instead Kat bided her time. Saber didnt appear in any great danger... the girl had her weapons and her wits. If she needed help her big sister would be there to protect her.
Kat sighed... she was constantly bailing her sister out. Oh well, what was one more time? Settling herself on the edge, out of sight for the moment to those on the street, she waited... listening, and watching. She noted the strange looking man had followed the blonde that was now in Barbossa's arms. He seemed to be with them... but he hung back. Kat raised an eyebrow, and looked down the street* "Well well well... this could get interestin'" A certain blonde headed boy was slowly making his way down towards the little group. His right hand holding a bottle, and his left arm wrapped around the waist, of an adorable black haired litttle girl. "Lets see if the fool gets tangled in the mess..."
