(Waited far too long to do this guys... sorry I finally got my film finished, so now I can work on this guilt free ^^.) It’s been almost a year since the adventure on Frozen Shores. Surill is dead, and the treasure of the “escosica moutanas” is lost seemingly forever. Perhaps the crew will make another attempt to recover it, but for now, best let well enough alone. The crew has been sailing about, causing some minor havoc in the Caribbean. However, it is major enough to catch the attention of the royal Navy. Jack, warned by Governor Swan, and Norrington that if he doesn’t lie low for a while he will be in serious trouble, finds a quiet little island (with NO cannibals ^^) to spend a few months on. However just because they told Jack to take a holiday, certainly doesn’t mean the crew should as well. Jack, seeing the logic in this, has sent his crew to find a new adventure. So leaving him with copious amounts of rum and with the fertile island to supply him with food, the crew sets sail. And where better to find a new adventure but in Tortuga? They quickly set their course, and should arrive shortly. Barbossa, bitter and disappointed from losing his treasure, has sailed back to spend some time in Tortuga. He, Chris, Aaron, and their new found crew members Itami, Rahl and Gerard have been recuperating and trying to find some more crew among the drunken and disorderly streets of the pirate’s haven. Two new threats have arrived in the Caribbean. One, a slave trader known as Neron Diego, and the other, a Navy Captain known as “Lucky Jack” Aubrey. Neron has spent the last several years building up a crew of hardened, skilled men, and has made quite a fortune on the black market. An old dispute with an old enemy sends him back to Tortuga to attempt to locate her and rid himself of the nuisance forever. Aubrey, hearing that the crew of the Pearl is out and about again, decides to sail in the direction of Tortuga to purge the Caribbean of them forever. Not only will this be the accomplishment of a lifetime, but it probably wouldn’t hurt his pocket, nor his standings with the King. As these different crew’s, and very different people’s lives suddenly become entwined and tangled, it becomes the ride and story of the century. There is more to this then you think, and everyone will have a part to play before it’s through… I just don’t like giving away too much at the beginning *ielh* 1. No Godmodding (duh… except with the NCP guys… but please get permission from me before you kill them *g*) 2. Ok… normally right here would go a thing about language and perversion… but considering the fact that I would undoubtedly break my own rules on this one I am just going to leave this up to your common sense… (If you need better guidelines then that feel free to contact me.) 3. Be creative! (With this story you are going to have to make your excitement. Nothing is happening to you? Send me a note, and I’ll make something happen. Or just grab one of the NCP guys and have fun! And like I said, everyone who wants a part to play shall have it. Just keep your eyes open.) 4. Keep it running, and follow the storyline. (if you don't like what's happening to your character, please let me know.) 5. Have fun! (Em and I already tried a version of this out in IM, and trust me… we had loads of fun.)

As the waking hours of the morn’ crept steadily upon the Black Pearl, one would assume the ship silent from sleep or drunken coma. Assumptions are quite overrated, however, for lying very much awake in one of the cabins rested the source of petty mutters and barely audible complaints. As she stared at the ceiling above, her ocean blue eyes appeared as dark as a stormy sea (and equally as harsh). And what was the cause of the lass’s distress so early in the day? Anyone who knew TopSword Tobbs (for anyone who called her by her true name, Victoria Brighton, save for one, was no longer among the living) before she joined the Black Pearl would think she’d consumed too much rum or needed to expend some built-up stress in violent manners. But those who knew her well knew the weight she carried was from their very own captain, Jack Sparrow.
Didn’t she begin their last voyage in the same manner? The present thought made her sigh frustratedly as she sat up slowly and proceeded in “waking up”. Leaving him behind was never a favorite idea nor course of action, for the thought of being unable to protect him in unexpected events and the situations HE provoked was almost too much to handle. Sure, he said he could handle himself, but would you believe him, after all? As these thoughts drifted along in her mind, she began to dress for the day. She fitted a brown, leather corset over a white blouse that hung off the shoulders. The boots she slipped on over her pants cuffed at the knee, and she loosely buckled a belt around her waist. The jewelry she wore was as golden as the locks of her hair: two bangles around her left wrist, earrings that sported a shape of a tear drop, and a simple golden necklace. She slid her twin blades into place, grabbed a tempting looking crimson apple from the table, and emerged through the cabin door.
The salty scent of the sea grew stronger yet as Tobbs observed their present course towards Tortuga. The light mist that hugged the sides of the ship made such an inspection difficult to do, but it seemed to be dissipating slowly as the sun began to peek above the horizon. Stretching her arms above her as her eyes swept the deck for any who might be as restless as she, Tobbs busied herself with consuming the apple she held and preparing the ship for the day ahead.

(omg... I am so down right now I almost don't have the heart to post... but I know it will do me good... so I will... )
Saber sat in the starboard rat lines. She had tossed and turned all night, and at about 5 am she woke up fully, and lost all chance of getting any restful sleep. She had sat up carefully, avoiding hitting her head on the bottom of Kat's bunk, and had slipped out into the early morning. She had sat in the rigging, watching the sun rise. Now she heard the sound of activity on board ship. Turning around, she looked back on deck, and saw Tobbs readying the ship for the day ahead. Languidly she slipped around the rat lines, and landed with a light thud on the deck.
"Mornin' Tobbs..." She said in a slightly tired, drawn voice. "Everything seem alright? Are we ready to dock in Tortuga this afternoon?"
Kat lay in her bunk, fast alseep. She never was one for waking up early, espeicially not after drinking the night away with some of the other crew. Still, if she had to, she would be awake in a flash and ready for action. But right now she lay, a bottle in hand, her hat pushed over her eyes, for she hadn't even bothered to undress the night before.
(friggin short... but I don't feel like doing anything bigger right now...)

*Erics dreams were fitful, full of visions of a burning childhood home that took the life of his sister so many years ago. He muttered something in his sleep and sat up suddenly with a gasp, his chest heaving. Sweat had gathered on his brow as he hunched over in bed, his shoulders slumping as he rested his face in his hands. It wasn't very often of late that he had nightmares this intense but when he did the visions were hard to get over.
Sitting back up he ran his fingers back through his thick, shaggy blonde hair and sighed. His deep brown eyes lowered to Evelyn and the mere sight of her reminded him how to smile and one side of his lips rose warmly. Reaching out gently as not to wake her he moved a few of her dark wild curls behind her shoulder then stooped and kissed her cheek, his lips just barley brushing her skin. It was a rare occassion that he woke before her...or before any of the crew for that matter. He never had been a morning person and never would be.
Climbing over her to get out of bed he moved over to the chest they kept at the base of the bed and pulled out a fresh pair of dark brown trousers and a cream colored shirt that tied from the middle up to the neck. With the heat he usually preferred to keep the front untied, but whenever Evelyn saw it she made sure to lace it up nearly to the neck. He grinned at the thought as he glanced over at her, pulling on his pants and slipping the shirt over his head. He left it open, figuring she could fix it if she deemed necessary later.
Moving to the washbasin he glanced at himself in the mirror as he splashed the luke warm water over his face and neck. Eric was a handsome man with a strong, sturdy build. He stood at six foot tall which had always been a running joke between him and Evelyn since she was so much smaller. Finally shoving on his dark brown boots he laced them up, strapped on his leather belt, and thrust his sword and pistol into place. He wasn't that great with either weapon, though he wasn't completley without defense. He was an excellent brawler.
Checking swiftly to make sure he had everything he went back to Evelyn, smoothed his hand over her hair with a smile then, with a quick kiss to her brow, slipped quietly from the room. Truding up on deck, still sluggish with the lingering sleep, he spotted Tobbs and Saber already up and about. The apple in Tobbs' hand made his stomach growl and he made a mental note to get him and Evelyn some breakfast when she woke up. Heading over to the two women he yawned, stretched, then thrust his hands in his pockets.* Good morning you two. Ready to dock in Tortuga? *He asked with a slight grin as he stooped over an old rickety chest to get out what he needed to get to work.*

Evelyn awoke to the feel of something brushing against her hair. She figured it was probably Eric and so felt no immediate alarm or real impulse to move. Instead she found herself merely smirking as his lips met her brow. It was as the door to their cabin closed however, that Evelyn lifted the shades of her eyes. It took a few moments but she had finally registered why it was she felt compelled to react to him just now. Eric rarely ever awoke before she did in the mornings, unless for some sort of miracle, act of God, or some sort of unique feeling passing through the man. Evelyn furrowed her brows at the door as if looking it over will help her decipher why it was he was awak at this hour but then flopped her cheek back onto the pillow of her bed.
Her eyes scanned their room and meager belongings. At the foot of the bed rested their chest, filled to the brim with all of their clothing somewhat folded neatly together. Her pistol sat on top of their short, crudely carved, bedside table as well as a candle they used to light the place up if they needed to do so in the dark, and her various bangles, trinkets, and necklaces. Her cutlass rested against the wall in the gap between that stump of a table and their bed, and her boots were each in the middle of their room, strewn about as if, like they had been really, kicked off without a care where it is they landed.
Giving a groan she finally rolled onto her back and stared blankly at the ceiling. Only the prospect of having some warm breakfast and seeing Eric were what drove Evelyn to leave the comfort of their nailed down bed. She gave a slight laugh as she recalled how it took Eric several months to finally really become used to the swaying the ship would give them. Their crew had decided long ago that hanging cots were simply not as comfortable as they could be and so opted to furnish the ship with beds. As long as the seas were somewhat decent a good nights sleep could be had by all really.
When she finally made her way out of bed she dressed in her usual attire. She slipped on her scoop necked cram colored shirt with billowing sleeves and neat cuffs, wriggled into her coffee colored trousers, pulled herself through her black corset which she by this point had learned to tie quite efficiently herself, and stepped into her black, weather worn, knee high boots. Taking a sash of crimson she tied this about her waist so as to have a place to shove her pistol into and tuck the handle of her cutlass into.
Moving out of the room she continued to blink the sleep out of her eyes. She rubbed one of her eyes as she stretched and yawned while she moved down the hall. Once she reached the deck her eyes scanned the decks and she found all three. Approaching them she smiled sleepily at her mates and said, "I's a bloody miracle this one is up at this hour." She teased and smoothed a hand over his back then inched up to kiss the edge of Eric's jaw gently.

(still not feeling all that great.. but posting really helps... and besides... then I get to complain about my problems in character... its more interesting that way *small grin* )
Saber smiled slightly as Eric came on deck. She shrugged and sighed slightly as he asked if they were ready to dock in Tortuga. "The ship's ready enough... but I don't know... I've never been too fond of that rum soaked, bastard infested port." She said managing a small chuckle. Evy walked up, and Saber actually smiled as she teased Eric. When she kissed Eric though, a small frown flashed across Saber's face. "I'm goin' ta go and check on the main mast topsail..." And she quickly scamered away into the rigging.
Arriving near the top of the mast, she didn't check on the sail at all. But instead just sat on a spar, and holding fast to rope, stared out to sea and sighed. It was hard, being on your own on a ship... she bet Tobbs understood... but still Tobbs had someone to go back to. Saber had no one, only memories...
Kat rolled over in her bunk, and dropped the rum bottle onto the floor. She started at the crash, and sitting up quickly, she pulled out one of her pistols. Looking about wildly she saw the bottle on the floor and grumbled. "Damn... I have got to stop taking those things ta bed with me... " Laying the pistol down next to her, she slowly began to sink back into sleep.

*Eric glanced up over his shoulder slightly as he gathered the tools so that he could see Saber as she spoke. A grin spread across his lips and he grunted humorously, being in full agreement with what she had to say. He'd never much cared for Tortuga, it was all too much for him really...but then at times a lot about a pirates life could be overwhelming. If it weren't for Evelyn he knew he wouldn't be here. It wasn't that he didn't care about the crew, or even the ship for that matter...but at heart he simply never was and never would be a true pirate. He was born a wealthy landlubber and spent much of his life in and out of wealth on land. That probably explained his lack of skill with a sword and a pistol.
He finished gathering up some nails and a makeshift hammer he'd made a while back and readied himself to repair a few leaks below decks. Looking back at Saber, though, he laughed again.* I don't think anyone, even Jack, are ever really ready to go to Tortuga. It's just something you suck up and do. *He said with a smirk. One thing he and Saber had always shared that no one else on the ship did was their distaste for rum. It was always a good time seeing the others get drunk off the stuff and laughing at them right along with her. Hell, even Evelyn could outdrink him on any kind of liquor...he chose to never bring that up if he could help it.
Suddenly he felt a familiar touch smooth over his back and he snorted, smirking over at Evelyn as she lightly kissed his jaw.* I'm just full of surprises, aren't I. *He said, flashing her a mischevious smile before noting that Saber had fluttered off rather quickly. His eyes followed her up the rigging and he grinned a little when she didn't start working on it. She always had seemed uncomfortable around him and Evelyn....not when they were themselves but when they were acting like a couple. Despite knowing the lass for quite a while he didn't really know all that much about her. He was suddenly curious if something in her past had caused her to act so strangley around couples. She did the same with Jack and Tobbs or Emma and Rick.
Shrugging it off he turned back to Evelyn and gave her an affectionate nudge.* Do you want to go get some breakfast now or after we do a few chores? *He asked, not entirely sure what her early morning routine was...usually he wasn't up in time to witness it. He was glad that he was up now, though, and keeping busy. It was helping the images of his nightmare to fade away into oblivion again.*

Evelyn had taken note of the hasty manner in which Saber had left Eric and Evelyn's presence. It seemed she might have been put off by the affection Evy had shown for him but she didn't dwell on the matter. She knew Saber well enough to know the woman certainly had her privacy and Evelyn was not one to snoop into one's personal life, unless well, she was feeling REALLY curious and mischivious. At current, she was not.
At Eric's response Evelyn smiled brightly up at him. "Surprises...oh yes. Tha's fer sure." She winked looking him over playfully. When he asked about breakfast she shrugged. Evelyn never needed much to get going in the mornings but she knew Eric enjoyed having a bit of breakfast before they got started with the day so, for his sake, she replied, "A bit of breakfast sounds good." Her eyes looked to Tobbs then and she nodded her head towards the galley. "You can join us if ye want Tobbsy. Ye'll know where to find us."
With that Evelyn took Eric up by the elbow for a moment and jolted him forward. "Le's go then. I know you can make some pretty decent meals when yer really tryin', so 'm hoping that this is one of those days." Evelyn said playfully as she walked in front of him and headed down the steps. Plopping herself down in a stool she rested her elbows on the table and propped her chin in her hands. "Hmm...I think 'd like an order of bread...some dried salt pork an'..." she began with a mischivious glint in her eye. She watched his reaction and she chuckled. "Don' look at me like that. You know I can' cook ta save my bloody life." She sighed, drumming her fingers on the table top in a bored manner.

Just as Tobbs began heading midship to check the mooring lines, she heard a thump from behind her. Spinning about with a grin upon her lips, she shook her head as Saber approached sleepily. "Ya know yer gonna scare me one 'o these days comin' down like tha'. It's tha' or a gust 'o wind'll inadvertedly toss ye upon me an' we'll both go overboard!"
She chuckled softly and rested her hand upon her hip. Sweeping the ship with her gaze, she nodded both to bid Eric good morning and answer their similar questions. "Excited fer shore, are we? Aye, ship's ready as ever, an' I could use a good ole tavern with jus' as much rum as Tortuga can 'old in one place."
Catching the drift of uneasiness coming from Saber, Tobbs nodded and watched as she scrambled atop the ship. She'd have a talk with her in a bit, she told herself. When her eyes returned to Eric, she was pleased to see Evelyn present as well. And of course, Tobbs' grin grew as remarks passed between the two. She'd always loved listening to their conversations and bantering. She called out teasingly after them as they headed below deck. " Miracle 'e's up, eh? What'd ya do Evy, wear the poor man out? Aye aye, meet ya in the galley in a jiffy, jus' make sure I don' walk in on some SUPRISE, ya pair of luvbirds!"
She snickered teasingly before heading over towards the general direction of Saber. She thought she knew what was up, for the twinge she felt in her heart related the mutual feeling of loneliness they shared. She had no problem with her shipmates, of course, but some eye to eye with Saber wasn't uncalled for either. "Oy, Saber mate! Where'd ya go? Jus' be careful abou' those gusts 'o winds we addressed earlier!"

Saber looked down and saw Tobbs scrambling up. She sighed. She really didn't want to talk to anyone at the moment, but she guessed that if she had to talk to someone, Tobbs was the one who would understand. She gave a weak smile as Tobbs commented on the gusts of wind and joined her on the spar. "Huh.... don't worry... I doubt anything could blow me off." She shook her head, and gave a small yawn. She really hadn't slept well the night before... and it was probably showing.
"So... hows Top Sword Tobbs this morning eh? Ready to find a new crazy adventure?" Saber asked trying to sound cheerful. She knew Tobbs would eventualy ask her what in heck was wrong with her... but for now she tried to stall.
Kat groaned and slowly sat up. She sun was now shining in through the port hole... and there was no more chance for sleep. She swung herself out of her bunk, and landed with a heavy thud on the floor. She streached and yawned. Reaching up, she felt around on her bunk till she located her pistol and hat. Grabbing them, she thrust the pistol back into her belt, and jammed the hat on her head. She made a decent attempt to straighten herself up. Relacing her bodice, tucking in her shirt, and running her hands through her firey red hair. Still, she looked somewhat of a mess... but what did she care?
Stumbling out of her room, she put a hand to her head and groaned... she really needed to stop drinking so much... eh... the thought of not drinking made her want to have a drink. Slowly she made her way to the galley. Reaching it, she found the small space already occupied by Eric and Evelyn. "Mornin'" she mumbled and pushing past Eric, reached up on a shelf, and grabbed a bottle of rum. Holding up her hand as if to say "dont talk to me just yet." she tilted her head back, and took a swig. "There we are..." she said with a contented sigh looking almost fondly at the bottle. She sat at the table and took a moment to crack her neck. "So then... how's things goin' this mornin'? And anyone seen that fool sister of mine? She wasnt in the cabin when I left."

*A warm stream of pale sunlight spilled in through the open port hole of Maddys cabin and she yawned, stretched, and blinked her eyes open. She drew in a deep breath of the sweet smelling insense that she always burned before she went to bed. It was a light grassy sort of smell that reminded her of her childhood home in Ireland. From the bed posts, walls, and ceiling hung brightly colored strips of fabric of ever size and type, along with strands of beads, and various golden trinkets. Maddy was a bit of a colorful personality, both literal and non.
However as she threw her legs over the bed, pushed her wild red curls behind her ear, and glanced down at the floor she saw one thing that didn't belong. TPs shirt and boots were strewn about and she rolled her eyes. Why that man couldn't pick up his stuff before he left and bring it back to his own bloody cabin was beyond her....but then why they didn't share a cabin was beyond her as well. It just simply wasn't how they worked as a couple. They weren't romantic and open like Eric and Evelyn were, they were a "behind closed doors" couple. Hell, if they hadn't ever told anyone they were together they doubted anyone would know at all!
Throwing on a sky blue, billowy shirt, red pants, and a sky blue knee length jacket with gold trim she tied her hair back as best she could with a leather strap then slipped her dozen gold bangles over her left wrist. Moving to her small table she lifted a wide black leather belt and strapped it about her hips, accessorizing it with her throwing knives, pistol, and short sword. Finally she shoved her feet into her knee high black boots and nodded at herself in the mirror. It was practically a chore in and of itself just getting dressed every morning, but it helped in getting her woken up before she went up on deck.
She could already hear movement above her and grinned, figuring she knew exactly who it was. Tobbs, Saber, and Evy were almost always the first ones to be up and about with her, Eric, and Kat seemingly coming in last. TP was juts somewhere in the middle. Snatching up all his things she marched down the hall to his cabin, threw open his door, chucked his stuff on the floor without a word and waltzed back out again and headed straight to the galley.
Heading inside she saw Eric, Evy, and Kat already there and without surprise noticed that Kat was clutching a bottle of rum. She wondered if the lass was capable of holding anything else really and thought made her grin.* I 'avent seen Saber since last night....you didn't drink 'er up by accident did ya? *Maddy asked with a chuckle, reaching into a cabin and pulling herself down a couple apples and a slightly hard piece of biscuit.*

*Eric lifted a brow and smiled, almost embarassed like, when she spoke about surprises then winked at him. He wasn't entirley sure how she meant it thus he decided to just take it as a compliment and be smug with himself. His smile brightened when she agreed to breakfast and he quickly set the things he was toting in his arms back down and rubbed his hands together, glancing over at Tobbs as an invitation was extended to her.* You can come, too, if you want, Saber...I usually make too much so if you're hungry! *He called, nodding up at her where she was perched in the rigging.
As he and Evelyn started down the deck Tobbs called after them suddenly and he felt himself blush at her comment, as it had been completley unexpected. He wasn't sure at all how to respond to that as he turned halfway around to look back at her. All he could do was rub the back of his neck, smile awkwardly out of one side of his mouth, and laugh uncomfortably.* Right, so um...breakfast then! *He said clearing his throat and hurrying back down the stairs towards the galley.
When they got there he started to gather up some bacon, salted ham, and biscuits when suddenly Evelyn sat down at the table and rattled off an order to him. He simply lifted a brow and snorted.* I know you can't so you better hope nothing happens to me or you're gonna starve to death! *He smirked and quickly set about getting things cooking. Suddenly he heard someone mumble and push past him. Shifting he spotted Kat already getting into the rum and he watched her curiously for a long moment before snorting and turning back to his cooking.* Saber is up on deck with Tobbs. *He said with a bit of a laugh, wondering how on earth it was that woman had drunk herself to death!
When Maddy came in he nodded his head to her then quickly piled some bacon, ham, and bread onto a few dented tin plates and passed them around to those at the table. Plopping down in a chair next to Evelyn he took a large bite out of his biscuit and grinned over at her.* There you are my lady, if you need anything else just pick up a little bell and give it a jingle. *He said as pompously as possible, swallowing the bit of biscuit in his mouth and giving her a little bow.*

Evelyn arched a brow at Tobbsy's comment about her keeping Eric busy and she merely looked at him. Evy relished in the way he appeared quite taken aback by the prhase and giggled. Once they had headed below and he responded to her she shook her head at him. "I wouldn' bloody starve...but I mean I suppose my food intake might not be 's good as it is now, if you can call it that." She snorted. Just then Kat had stumbled in and headed straight for a drink. She shook her head at the woman and smiled as she bid her a "Good mornin'." in return.
"You know Kat, i's a wonder yer still able ta stand with all the drink you take in." She teased, taking a sip out of a tin of water she herself had collected. Evelyn had opened her mouth some to respond to her but stopped when Eric decided to explain instead. Instead she turned her attentions to the plate of food that was now making its way towards her. Once it was set she took up her bacon and nearly inhaled it.
When he spoke however, she choked some on her bacon and laughed. "Really...?" she asked. "Well ya know mate, 'd actually be givin' the bloody thing more than a jingle at the moment considerin' this bacon here is barely edible." She teased as a smart grin crossed her face.

Realizing that Saber spent most of her time above the deck rather than on or below it, Tobbs shrugged and nodded in agreement. If anyone could hold their ground against the wind, it'd be Saber. "Aye, ya know me. Always ready ta start a scuffle somewhere, be it in the Caribbean or elsewhere fer tha' matter..what 'bout ye? Ya seem like another night 'o sleep would do ye some good...I wouldn' mind an extra one fer meself, I'll tell ya tha' much!"
She could tell her friend was troubled...something was on her mind that was fighting away peace and replacing it with restlessness. Least that was what Tobbs assumed was going on, what with the likeness of her own self, since she'd been tossing and turning ever since they started away from...well...no, she wouldn't let him staying behind bother her. He had once before..but the more she thought of it, the more the restlessness grew. "Ya know, there's somethin' in the wind that's been causin' me uneasiness...don' know if I can put me finger on it..per'aps yer feelin' it too, aye?"
She knew addressing the subject she had in mind was difficult enough, but they had a little bit of time before Tortuga, and she somewhat knew, even if she denied it to herself, she needed to talk too.

(With Barbossa and crew)
A harsh mutter and a few vulgar curses at the sunlight that strewed through the cabin window would not, unfortunately, turn it off. Sighing frustratedly, Sean put his arm across his head in attempt to block it, but that plan failed as well. He would’ve thrown something at it, but he doubted a broken window would do anything but encourage the light to be brighter. So, instead, he rubbed his eyes irritatedly, swung his legs over onto the floor, and stood up.
He still had on his leather brown colored breeches and brown boots. All that was left was buttoning his dark blue tunic up half way, swinging a belt with the two daggers and pistol he used on, and stretching his arms above his head before he was out of the cabin and up in the galley. Still cursing the sun and any relatives it might have had, Sean made for a few biscuits and a mug for some rum. Barbossa wasn’t around yet, probably in the city already, and that meant a few seconds to eat and get to a tavern to find some work for the crew and bully some of the hopefuls with some "direction" as crew mates.
...Because he was always so willing to lend a helping hand....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (With Jack’s Crew, not Joseph but IAN MILLER, apologies)
“Good morning, everyone. Thought I heard a few voices coming from in here. Plus, I have to admit, the smell of food did influence me to check and see if I was..imagining things..”
Ian grinned and ran his hand through his hair innocently. He'd been up for a half an hour or so, but he'd stayed below thinking the crew was asleep. After all, he needed a few moments to himself to sharpen his blades before they hit Tortuga. He never knew if he might need them or not.
Entering the galley, he headed over towards Eric to help with the food. "Whipping things out quickly, are we? Need any help, or got it covered?"
He glanced over and caught the eye of Kat for barely half a second. There had been something between them since the last voyage, and while he wished there to be no tension, he couldn't erase the past.
