The young lass lay quiet, running a calloused fingertip along the wooden frame of her tiny cot. Of late Maria had been quite unsociable, often choosing to spend her time in solitary rather than with the rest of the crew. It wasn't because she didn't like them, nor was it that she had grown insecure. But when an individual is brought on board at a young age and lived on a ship for months at a time, it was hard to find time for oneself. And with new revelations to contemplate, such as the discovery of whose blood really flowed in her veins, alone time was greatly cherished. There was, however, many downsides to her new behaviour. First and foremost, she had little apprehension of what was actually occuring on the other side of that thin wooden door. If new information about their voyage surfaced from the time she entered her cabin, she was completely unaware of it. And Ignorance was the last thing she needed, especially when she already had less experience in her young age.
A knock at the door brought her back from her deep state of thought and Maria blinked away the gossamer veil of reverie. Pursing her lips slightly, the young lass inclined her head toward the door and frowned. Was that Kat?
Fingers pressed firmly into the matress as she pushed herself up to stand. Maria walked to the door and took grip of the handle. She opened it a little wider than a crevice and peered out. Her dark eyes met Kat's almost instantly and Maria arched a brow.
"Yes?"

*Erics brows raised with slight surprise when Evelyn clutched suddenly a hold of his shirt, burying her face in his chest as she spoke. He frowned, slipping his arms about her to both hold her to him and support her as he knew she was fading in and out of blackness. When she parted from him once more he nodded, narrowing his brown eyes and gazing ahead into nothingness.
He felt exactly the same way she did, he would be relieved and glad to see Seurill dead and hoped that Saber wouldn't somehow sneak him off the ship or try to keep him alive once the information was given. After what he did to Evelyn, Eric didn't think the man should get to live. He'd gladly kill Seurill himself if he saw him again so at the moment he thought it best if he just kept away.
When she mentioned Saber he shook his head in equal confusion.* I have no idea. *He sighed, wishing he could figure it out and doubting that he ever would. He wondered if Saber even knew what she was doing. It wasn't like her to pull a pistol on a close companion... apparently no one knew her as well as they thought they did. But then, Saber didn't really know everything about his rather unflattering past either so he figured it was expected that he didn't know much about hers.
Suddenly Evelyn cried out again and he frowned deeper, knowing that there really wasn't much else he could do for her at the moment. Reaching out he stroked her hair when suddenly an idea came to him and he grinned a little.* Wait there, Evelyn, I'll be right back. *He said rising to his feet. He paused for a moment, realizing his instructions were rather pointless as it was obvious she wouldn't be going anywhere. With a shrug he continued on again out into the galley.
WHen he returned he was carrying a large flask filled to the brim with rum and he handed it over to her.* Drink that and you won't feel the pain as much. *He said, figuring at this point it was probably the only thing that was going to help her.*

Kat raised an eyebrow as Maria tentatively opened the door. “Hmm... so you’re alive… good to know.” Kat leaned a hand against the door post, and sighed. “Look… you probably haven’t heard yet… but… I kinda sorta lost last night. The drinking match I mean… so… yeah…” She pushed her hat back from her eyes slightly and ran a hand across her forehead. “Evelyn hasn’t been here checking out a dress for me has she?” She asked with a tone of hopelessness and despair.
Saber glanced around the room and sighed. This was ridiculous; she was going to go crazy sitting in that cabin! Besides, the whole room still stank of rum, and it was making her already hurting head swim. Slowly Saber got to her feet. Ouch… it was finally setting in. The muscles she had used yesterday to load all of that damned rum were burning like hell. Slowly she moved towards the door. Opening it slightly she looked up and down the hallway. Kat stood a little way away at Maria’s door. Well, she might be able to get up on deck without being noticed. Moving out of the cabin, she swiftly made her way to the stairs, and bounded up them ignoring her screaming legs. Once on deck, she swiftly made her way to the rigging, and painfully pulled herself up the ratlines to the main spar. Settling into her normal position she stared out at the ocean. “What’s the matter with me?” She asked the sea and sky. The always brought comfort to her, whenever things were wrong they were always there. Sometimes stormy, but always there, waiting for her. But even they couldn’t give her the answers to her troubles.

Maria raised an eyebrow in honest suprise when Kat revealed that she lost. "You what?" she inquire with disbelief as a mischieviously smirk appeared on her lips. The young lass opened the door further and leaned her entire body on its frame. She tipped her head back on the wood and cross her arms loosely at her chest. "Well, well... This ship hold a new drinking champion I suppose..." Maria bit her bottom lip and she narrowed her eyes in amusement. "No, she hasn't been here... You're lucky she hasn't." Holding the other woman's gaze and supressing the laughter than urged to be set free, she remained quiet for a few moments until the creak wood broke the silence. "Ok. Come on." Maria kicked the door fully open and nodded to the inside of her cabin.

Silence was a blessing and a curse to Christiana. As an assassin, she couldn't well be disdainful of it, but as an avid conversationalist, she couldn't stand it. The silence on the way back to the hotel was taking her apart, as she clutched Barbossa's arm and tried to figure out what was going through his head.
She had a bad feeling about this. Things were...things were moving too fast. She hadn't had a chance to tell him yet;what if he didn't love her anymore?
With a shake of her head,Chris drove such thoughts away. They would get somewhere quiet, and then they could talk.
