This'll take place....maybe about a year after El Dorado. And We'll be visiting Port Royale.
Jack Sparrow and Co have been "peacefully" sailing the Caribbean for nearly a year now. Carefully keeping an eye on Port Royale and waiting for word on Will and Elizabeth's child. It's around this time when news reaches them about the Turner child they decide to visit the sleepy fort and enjoy themselves. And harass the stationed Navy and Norrington of course. (I mean honestly, it's fun)
However a traitor makes their way onto the Black Pearl there. When Jack and his crew get out of the harbor, the ship is set on fire and explodes. (Yes, I destroyed the BLACK PEARL! *plays dramatic music*) Jack is furious, as is to be expected, and sinks into a depression of sorts. Finally while in Port Royale he and Will hear an old legend. A old medallion that can turn back time. Of course this could very well be true, after all Jack and his crew have seen it wouldn't exactlly be a far stretch. But the problem is this. The Medallion was broken by it's makers. Three pieces spread across the Seas. The pieces have to be found and united before it can work, assuming of course it does. Jack wants to use the medallion to reverse time and save his beloved ship. But the medallion was destroyed for a reason. The power to change time is not something to be taken lightly. And in the hands of a pirate, no matter how noble the cause, its a dangerous thing. NOTE: It's worth saying and mentioning the origins of this plot. "All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you." It was a rather odd thing that I was listening to the POTC soundtrack while looking at A ROTK trailer. And that wonderful quote from Gandalf is what gave this rpg its heart.
I'm calling it the medallion of Ahura Mazda. For a little back ground history on said god...here you go. He's one of the top gods in Persian myth....all wise and all knowing. A god dedicated to the destruction of darkness and lies. His symbol was a winged disc....and that is what the Medallion will look like. A gold circle with two wings, which have been broken off and we'll find them. Savvy?
Rules: 1. no spamming 2. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER 3. NO cursing!!!! 4. Common curtesy is a must 5. NO GODMODING (unless otherwise stated) 6. have fun maties
All righty then, so that's the story and the rules, lets go and have some fun then shall we?
~NOTE! NOTE! NOTE! NOTE! NOTE! NOTE! NOTE!~ Current Going Ons: UPDATE ON CREW'S LOCATION! The crew has just obtained a piece of the medallion after a series of obstacles in a cave. They're docked in on a nearby town since a storm's pulling in. Mark and Sam were attacked by old aquaintances (Mark was an assassin! *gasps*) and Sam's now healing on the ship. Emma and Rick are currently with Eric and Evy as they're readying to head out of the cave and back to the ship with the medallion piece. Tobbs is curently waiting for the captain to return to his Quarters. Rhys went through a memory loss state after falling into the hole in the cave, and she has no idea whats going on as of now. Elizabeth, Will, and Iniko (a rather suspicious and so called "slave" who's joining the crew and is rather fond of Rhys....) are conversing with eachother just outside Rhys's room. Puck is entertaining the Turner's son. Jack hasn't been spotted too much by the crew (he's still gone, but should be back soon ^.^)

Elizabeth's brow rose in interest as she spoke her last words, daring him to venture off...she had guessed he'd know it'd seem suspicious, and she half-wanted to know where he'd head if he did leave. All of a sudden, however, a rush of relief and joy made her gasp softly. She immediately recognized Will's voice and touch, and she spun around with a little smile on the edge of her lips.
"Will! I had n idea where you were! I was so worried, and then the cave, and attackers, and Rhys, and, and..."
She trailed off as she buried her face into his shoulder, holding onto him rather tightly and affectionately. This whole day had been overwhelming for the crew as a whole, and she especially felt exhausted by it all. Looking up into his eyes and letting her hand rest gently upon his cheek, her little smile curved up a bit more, despite the weariness she was beginning to feel.
"I'll be fine...Puck's caring for James, and he's having quite a wonderful time with the little objects created for him...I was heading ove to check on him now, actually. Rhys..."
She glanced in the doorway and smiled at the lady, leaning over so Will could peek in and see her for himself.
"She seems to have had a state of memory loss...it's not disappearing yet, so hopefully it will soon."
She shook her head as if scolding herself for letting such a thing happen. When she'd realized her husband had no idea who the new crew member was, she blinked and turned back to Iniko.
"Will, this is Iniko, a possible crew member if Jack approves. He helped us save Rhys in the caves...Iniko, this is Will Turner, my husband and companion of Captain Jack Sparrow, as much as I might protest."
She teased and met Will's eyes with her own again, scooting closer to his side. It felt safe near him, and she felt a whole deal better with him close.

Rhys stared around the empty cabin. The room was plain as if she had never truly lived in it. There were no pictures, just some worn clothes put away in the drawers neatly. "I can't have lived in here for a year, I would have moved the place around or done something to make it more homey," she whispered to herself.
Her daggers had disappeared out the door with with the woman. They did not trust her with them. They certainly didn't know her too well then. Rhys shook her head and curled up on her bed, they had to be lying to her.
Iniko followed Elizabeth out the door and listened to her request. He nodded, of course he would stay with Rhys and watch her. It would give him something to do and let me talk to her. His plan could be put into action that way.
Yet, before he could do anything, a new pirate appeared at Elizabeth's side. He bowed and murmured, "Masser." He kept his eyes to the floor as his mother had taught him as a young kid. To stay out of trouble with the white folk. He had not lied about his past.

Elizabeth looked back to Iniko and watched his reaction to Will. She had seen his friendly nod in agreement to watching Rhys, and while she was uncertain of him, she didn't think he would cause her any harm. Smiling a bit at Iniko, she sighed wearily and spoke up.
"Iniko, there's no need to call Will such a thing. You're part of the crew now. Do feel more welcomed, even if there might be suspicious glances at you from time to time. This is, of course, a pirate ship. Trust isn't gained easily."
She looked up at Will before returning her gaze on the new crew mate.
"Feel free to call my Elizabeth, and I shall call you Iniko. Sound just about right?"

((ooc: Sorry took so long to write back! Busy times! LMAO!! Well Erics flattered everyone finds his bum such a luxury!! *Laughs hysterically whilst shaking head*))
*Erics face went bright red as he glanced over at Evelyn and saw her struggling to hold back her laughter. He grinned in a smart ass sort of way at her and rolled his eyes. As she pushed her face close to his he grunted at her remark and glarred playfully at her.* Oh shut up, Evy. You know you love my big ass! *He laughed, giving her a wink. A moment later the three pirates around him were struggling to free him and he winced with every heave though he tried to hide it. He really didn't want Evelyn messing with the wound anymore, it wasn't exactly a good feeling.
Soon Will took off and Eric cocked a brow and glanced over at Evelyn, Rick, and Emma. He always felt Will had his heart in the right place, even if his mind wasn't always with it. He doubted that man was something to worry about although he figured there was nothing wrong with being suspcious. It was in a way odd that he had randomly shown up....but then again that was how Eric himself had come about....just randomly wandered onto the ship one day. The memory made him laugh. He and Evelyn had seemed to loathe one another in those days and now here they were (granted they still had the gift of arguing something firece.) He doubted he ever really loathed her. In fact he remembered the way he had looked at her when he first met her at the age of twelve. She had been something different in his life, someone who had made him smile when nothing else did, even though it was only for a very brief time and then he had wandered off again. Still he had never really forgotten her and to be with her now after so many years, he knew it wasn't coincidence.
Finally he was pulled free from the hole and took a deep breath, hugging Evelyn back as she embraced him. He kissed the top of her head and grinned around at the group of people about him.* Thanks. *He laughed, shrugging a little, not sure of what to say really. Slipping his unwounded arm about Evelyns shoulders he squeezed her a bit and jerked his head in the direction of the ship.* Well i'm ready to get off this damn island, what say the rest of you?

*Will held Elizabeth tightly as she held him in return and burried her face in his shoulder. He was relieved to see that she alright and to hear that James was doing fine as well, enjoying the undeniably entertaining company of Puck. Will couldn't help but grin a little, figuring he'd best keep that guy in mind someday incase he and Elizabeth ever needed a sitter. They never did get as much alone time as they used to, though he figured that all came with the cost of having a family. As his wife addressed Rhys he peered around her at the woman and frowned a little. The woman looked terrible and he wasn't sure how comfortable he was with letting some strange guy stay on the ship while she was left unattended. In her condition he doubted she could fight off anything larger then a piece of dust. Suddenly his eyes turned upon Iniko as his wife introduced the two of them. He eyed the man and nodded, raising a brow at what the man called him and how the man bowed his head. Will didn't like to be reffered to as anything other then his name, considering that in his earlier days he had been forced to call others master, it was humiliating. He remembered once when Governor Swann had asked him to pass his compliments on to Wills master after beholding a sword that Will had made himself. It had certainly let Will know where his lot in life was and it had insulted him.* You can call me Will, Iniko and there's no need to bow your head to me. I'm nothing special, just ask my wife. *He grinned and nodded as his wife said rather the same thing.
Finally he gave Elizabeths arm a bit of a tug and smiled at her.* You should lay down Elizabeth, you look tired. I'll take you to bed, *He said softly, leading her away from the others and towards their own cabin.*

Evelyn gazed around at the others for a brief moment as Eric placed his arm around her shoulders. With the back of her hand she wiped at the slight sheen of perspiration that had begun to build upon her brow. Her eyes turned towards the ship and where Will had taken off to. It had occured to her that at the moment there was a complete stranger on that ship, and this fact seemed to somewhat alarm Evelyn, causing her body to tense slightly under Eric's touch.
"Right, well I'm damned well ready." She stated matter of factly. She looked towards him and nudged him slightly with the side of her head. "I say we get back to the ship 'fore all the bloody rum's gone...I'm runnin' low as it is." She murmered with slight disappointment in her tone.
Digging into her sash she pulled the flask from it and took a hearty swig. There was really not much left and she would be needing a refill quite soon indeed. As she placed it back, however, she also managed to drop the small time piece that she had found down in the cavern, her eyes crossed over it carefully. " 'Sides, I'll be needin' Jack's opinion on what 've found. Hopefully it'll bring us closer to finally gettin' our ship back." Evelyn halfway announced, looking around at Emma and Rick, before replacing the time piece back where it had been moments before.

Iniko nodded at Will's introduction, but before he could say anything the pair turned and headed down the hall towards their own cabin. Iniko watched them ofr a moment before turning and looking in at Rhys. He smiled slightly and moved into her room. "Don't worry sweetie, I'm not going to do anything, I just want to talk," he stated as he pulled the door shut behind him with a soft thud.
Rhys moved further away from the man as he entered her domain and shut the door. All color drained from her cheeks, prepared for the worst. She was too weak to defend herself. With a small whimper, she listened to his words. That was the same thing that every man told her.
The man stepped forward and sat on the end of her bed, "Rhys, you can trust me." He paused and looked at her for a moment before reaching out and touching her knee.
The theif jerked away and let out a scream. "Get away from me! Don't touch me!" She curled up in a small ball in the corner as far from him as she could get. She would have called for help if she had thought anyone would come, but she couldn't trust anyone on the ship.
"Rhys, no... no!" he called jumping to his feet. "I would not hurt you! Your brother would kill me if he ever found out I had touched you!" he whispered quietly, but the woman did not listen to him. She just stayed curled up away from him, prepared for the worst.

Tobbs was beginning to grow more and more aggravated. WHERE WAS HE?! She grit her teeth and waited....waited....paced....waited....waited more....OH COME ON! Nope...waited...waited...and waited...
Suddenly, something made her sit straight up. A scream. A familiar scream. RHYS!
She jumped up from her chair and raced out the doors. Iniko...she remembered the man. She was suspicious over the newcomer. She knew it had to be him. Placing both hands on her blade hilts, she marched down the steps quickly.
When she was in the hallway, she burst inside.
"WHAT in the Bloody Caribbean's goin' ON?"

Iniko jumped as the door opened and Tobbs slammed into the room yelling. "Nothing... nothing is going on," he stammered at her. "I only touch her," he murmured quietly head hung. "I not mean anything." He hunkered down and kept himself from meeting the woman's eyes.
Rhys uncurled rather quickly as the door flew open. She forced herself to her feet and grabbed for the dish that had been used to wash her bandages. She smashed it against the wall and held a piece of the dish out infront of her. She knew that her make-shift weapon would not last very long, but if they were to take her down she would atleast injure them in the process.
"Who the hell are you?" she whispered to the new woman. "Why the hell am I here?" she questioned her eyes blazing fire as she used all of her might to stay standing.

(Elizabeth should be posting later tonight! ^.^)
Tobbs glared rather fiercely at Iniko. He touched her? What? When? How? To what extent? To her will? Apparently not, by the looks of it. She drew one of her blade and held it up near his throat, narrowing her eyes.
However, when the plate smashed on the side of the wall, Tobbs's eyes flew on Rhys. She had her other blade out now, somewhat by her side. The crash had startled her, and now so did the look on Rhys's face.
At her words, Tobbs was astonished. What had been going on? What was Rhys talking about?
"Rhys? What the-? Don't you speak ta me like a dog when I'm yer crew mate and more importantly, friend! And whats this about sharp glas towards me? 'ave ya lost yer bloody mind woman?"
Turning to Iniko, she brought the edge of the blade closer.
"WHAT, did you do, to make 'er like this? Tell me, or I'll run you right through. Don't think I care for you or yer well being, either. Now, WHAT is going on?"

Rhys fell against the wall as she saw the swords being drawn. The woman pressed the blade against Iniko's throat and for some reason she felt compassion for the man. He was just as distrusted as her. She was very surprised that he had been allowed to keep weapons unlike her.
Blue eyes flashed back to the new woman as she began to holler at her. "I'll talk to you like this until I find out what's the heck is going on!" she called back in anger. "Stop the lies, just tell me the damn truth!"
Soon however, the woman's attention was focused on Iniko demanding to know what he had done. Rhys had trouble standing, however. The wounds were getting to her and she wasn't sure how much longer she could stand.
Iniko took a deep breath, and tried to explain. "I only touch her knee shortly. Was trying to talk. She start screaming. But Elizabeth say she lost memory. She don't remember this ship or crew at all!" He pretended to shake and cower away from the angry woman. "I not hurt her! I sorry!"

Sam remained quiet as everyone entered the damp cave. He hung near the entrance and looked around when it happened so suddenly. Mark and Evy began to argue and then Mark drew a pistol to her head. Sam looked at the whole thing unable to figure out what was going on. As quickly as it had began it had ended and Mark left down a long dark narrow tunnel. Sam regained himself and had to make a choice...go with Mark? or stay with the crew? He decided to stay with the crew for the time...though he felt in all honesty that Mark was not himself...but it was to late for his friend...Mark would never be allowed to sail with the crew again. Sam went with the others in sadness..for he did not know what to do or what would become of his friend. He sought out Evy.
"I haven't the slightest clue was to what happened down there...are you okay?"
He didn't know what to say either. He was just glad Eric wasn't in the cave at the time, or Mark could be dead...or both of them.
"I am sorry I didn't do anything to calm him...he is my friend afterall...though I do not think he meant it...but I am not saying what he did was right or wrong...it just wasn't like him to do."

*Eric glanced back at Evelyn as he felt her tense a little beneath his arm and he grinned, nodding in agreement. He couldn't remember a recent time when he had wanted to get away from a place more. The only difference was Eric could really care less if the rum stash ran out as he had never been able to take a fancy to the drink, though he still downed it on occassion.
Giving Evelyns shoulder a squeeze his grin grew and he looked her over, turning his eyes upon the near empty flask for a moment before returning them to her.* This just hasn't been your day has it. *He laughed and glanced over suddenly as Sam joined them, appologizing for what Mark had done earlier and making sure that Evelyn was okay. Eric couldn't help but feel that he needed to protect his territory whenever this man came around. He knew he would never actually try to take Evelyn from him, but Eric didn't care. He knew the man liked her and decided he'd best stay on the defense. Outwardly though he was as kind as he could be and felt it was only right, considering that Sam was overall a good kid.
He smiled a little, reaching out and giving the man a very gentle pat on the shoulder.* Don't appologize for him, Sam. He may not have been himself but what he did was completley stupid and there's simply no trusting that he won't do it again someday. I'm glad you chose to come with us though. *He said with a nod.* How's your neck doing by the way? You should lay down you know, it'll heal quicker. *Eric stated, observing the lads neck with a frown. It had always been apart of Erics instinct to try and take care of people. He had spent nearly his entire life doing so in one way or another. Removing his arm from around Evelyns shoulders he scooped up her hand and led her back to the ship, though a bit slower then he wanted to considering the fact that he knew she was going to check up on his gunshot wound again, no matter how much he tried to avoid it.*

Evelyn had been quite ready to begin their trek back to the ship when Sam approached them. She had almost completely forgotten about the lad throughout the whole commotion and was slightly alarmed at the sight of him, truth be told. He was, afterall, the closest link to Mark they had and at the moment, Mark wasn't exactly the most liked of them all.
"Ah, Sam. Nah 'm alright mate. But yer friend won't be if I see 'im again tha's for damned certain." She stated with a determined nod, glancing towards him, but then turning towards the ship. "An' don' go makin' excuses for 'im, I don' think I'll ever forgive him for what he did. NO ONE bloody touches me like that, an' he'll learn that soon enough if he doesn' know it already." Evelyn's voice was conversational enough, at least enough to hide the slight icy chill that clung to their core. She could really care less what happened to Mark now, no one could simply put a bloody pistol to her head and get away with it.
Clenching her jaw slightly at the thought, she waited, staring out towards the glittering seas before Eric intertwined his fingers with hers and began leading her back to the ship. The gulls gave their cries from the beaches as they neared the docks. She simply couldn't wait to get back on the seas, onto open waters...
"An' I'm bloody cleanin' that wound o' yours Eric, don' think I've forgotten." She said half teasingly. In many ways Eric could be stubborn enough to only cause himself harm. He was supplicant enough at times with her, but she was happy he was. Evelyn had met many men in her life, including Jack Sparrow, who would rather lose their right hand then back down to any arugment she might spark with them. Eric wasn't that sort of man, at least not with her. Whenever she ranted on he could definately snap on back, but whenever it took a turn for the worse he seemed to back down.
Evelyn would need something like that, she knew it. She was far too dominating to be with anyone else really. As they neared the ships, her foot crunching into the sandy, golden, beaches, she gave Sam a small smile of encouragement. "Chin up mate, look out for yourself, savvy?" She said gently squeezing his shoulder before continuing on.
She truly wasn't angry with Sam...at least not in the long run. It was Mark who deserved the blame and so it was that Evelyn placed it there. Yet looking at Sam she felt a slight bit of sorrow. He was such a warm soul, a kind heart, and in this life it could be taken from you savagely. A heart like Sam's was as precious as gold out here but could be twisted and stolen if not taken care of. She had seen it happen to many before. Eric too was a heat like that but it seemed his as well had been toyed with far too many times for it to contain its true brilliant luster. Instead it had adapted, learning to hide from those that would do it harm.
Evelyn was an example of one that had nearly lost it all. Perhaps she had at one point or another, but at least now she felt she was somewhat gaining her old self back, she could really only afford to gain a bit back.
Keeping slightly behin Eric, Evelyn placed her cheek against his shoulder as they walked slowly towards the ship. She wanted to get back to open seas more than ever, and get to finally tracking down whatever it was Jack was looking for. She wanted the Pearl back.
