This'll take place....maybe about a year after El Dorado. And We'll be visiting Port Royale.
Jack Sparrow and Co have been "peacefully" sailing the Caribbean for nearly a year now. Carefully keeping an eye on Port Royale and waiting for word on Will and Elizabeth's child.
It's around this time when news reaches them about the Turner child they decide to visit the sleepy fort and enjoy themselves. And harass the stationed Navy and Norrington of course. (I mean honestly, it's fun)
However a traitor makes their way onto the Black Pearl there. When Jack and his crew get out of the harbor, the ship is set on fire and explodes. (Yes, I destroyed the BLACK PEARL! *plays dramatic music*)
Jack is furious, as is to be expected, and sinks into a depression of sorts. Finally while in Port Royale he and Will hear an old legend. A old medallion that can turn back time.
Of course this could very well be true, after all Jack and his crew have seen it wouldn't exactlly be a far stretch. But the problem is this. The Medallion was broken by it's makers. Three pieces spread across the Seas. The pieces have to be found and united before it can work, assuming of course it does.
Jack wants to use the medallion to reverse time and save his beloved ship. But the medallion was destroyed for a reason. The power to change time is not something to be taken lightly. And in the hands of a pirate, no matter how noble the cause, its a dangerous thing.
NOTE: It's worth saying and mentioning the origins of this plot. "All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you." It was a rather odd thing that I was listening to the POTC soundtrack while looking at A ROTK trailer. And that wonderful quote from Gandalf is what gave this rpg its heart.
Rules:
1. no spamming 2. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER 3. NO cursing!!!! 4. Common curtesy is a must 5. NO GODMODING (unless otherwise stated) 6. have fun maties
Current Going Ons: The Black Pearl is Destroyed. Most of the crew is headed to the Turners. Mark's ready to try and kill Jack. WOOT fight.

::Almost unnoticed and unseen a dark figure watched the Black Pearl burn.::
"What a waste of a perfectly good ship..." The person muttered. The voice was one of a man, but there was an odd quality in the voice. A lively, mischievous tone that seemed to come out in even the most somber of times.::
::He watched the fight with Jack and Mark without flinching then watched the crew depart::
::Evylen and Eric.....he could sense their names and he smiled, chasing afer then like a spirited, joyful shadow in the night. They were in an ally when he caught up to them, his silvery white hair glowing eeriely in the night. He smiled at them, a wrath and cloaked in laughter then made his pressence known::
::It was one of those things that happened suddenly. A soft breeze and a feeling one would get when recalling a joyful childhood memory. This creature, was after all, one of playful energy.::
::He floated a scant inch from the ground and smiled at them, his face still shadowed:: "How now spirits...wither wander you?" ::His voice was musical and playful and waiting for a response::

*Tobbs smiled a bit sadly as she watched Jack after he spoke. He'd not get some sleep then...no...he'd probably not even try...she knew that, but she'd not wanted to accept it.*
*For the longest time, she just kept randomly drifting in and out of sleep....this whole thing was hard for her too, yes. But she needed to be there for the captain. He'd not manage on his own, as much as he'd think he was capable of that sort of thing.*
*So, she lay there, occasionally drifting off to sleep, and occasionally snapping back awake, in which she'd gently caress his arm, or scoot a bit closer to him quietly, or sigh somewhat. And, by the time, no time at all had really passed too much, she decided to sit up. She couldn't sleep now.*
"Jack...you 'wake?"
*She whispered it just beyond being audible. By now she was up straightening herself up a bit more as she stood by the dresser doors. She was just buttoning up her shirt to the required and modest length and slipping on her boots, just enough, not dressing full out for the day ahead. She didnt know where she was going. To get a glass of water, she told herself.*
*She brought along one dagger she'd slipped in ehr boot. Juts in case. Always be cautious, she'd thought. Now, she needed an explanation...or she didn't need one, just thought she should mention where she was going, just in case he was awake...*
"I'm...I'm going to get some water...I'll bring up something for you..."
*Closing the door gently behind her, she proceeded to silently go down the hallway to the stairs. When she'd descended them, she nearly ran into Elizabeth and her father, whom were discussing something.*
*Inching away and trying to be unnoticed, she went out of the door, telling ehrself a walk would be nice. Just a random walk. Nothing big.*
*But soon she'd walked straight onto the street where Mark's home was located. She'd been there earlier for that dinner thing. She knew where she was. She just ahd to speak to Mark. Had to get some answers on his side. She would just straight away show her unmerciful side, but she needed to protect the both of them from hurting eachother, as she notably loved Jack very much, and Mark had grown to be a friend of hers on the voyages.*
*She stood by the door. Wondering what to do. Knock? What would she say? Shout? What could she yell?*
*Her fists were soon slamming on the wood. No time to think. She stood before the home of the rival of her captain, the one she loved. Mark. And she knocked.*

Evelyn had just begun to shiver slightly when her thoughts turned to their home. It was quaint, yes, but at the moment it sounded more deliciously comfortable, and homey than ever before, even though she secretly wished the Pearl was still in order so she could take rest in their old, constantly, rocking cabin.
She looked to Eric once more and then turned a bit. "Come on Eric luv..." she said softly, making to walk towards him a bit but then a voice sounded in the darkness and Evelyn gave a small jump. "GAH! Bloody 'ell!" Evelyn suddenly yelped slightly and knocked back right into Eric, moving beside him, and slightly taking cover behind his shoulder.
Her eyes fell on the oddest being she had ever seen and Evelyn could only blink at the sight. Her eyes passed over him, up and down. The man was a tall one, who's voice was cheerful and resounded with a bell like quality. His hair was as bright as the silvery moon and flowed over his shoulders in a soft whisp. However, it was his feet that puzzled her, as at the moment he SEEMED to not be touching the ground.
Evelyn's eyes instantly shot to Eric as if he could offer some sort of explanation to this all. Evelyn finally slipped from behind Eric and confronted the man, her eyes looking him over meticulously and then speaking in a stern tone.
"Erm...right. Well I 'ave NO bloody idea what ye jus' said..." Evelyn began and then pulled a dagger from her sash, the blade glinting softly in the moonlight, "But if ye don' mind...ye've got five seconds ta either explain yerself, er make fer the nearest exit...savvy?" Evelyn said with a furrowing of her brows, however, feeling as if the being before her didn't mean her any physical harm, and really, doubting he could inflict any...

::The man laughed, a laugh that could force almost anyone into smiling::
"Tsk tsk...such mistrustful thinking...and put that dagger away.....children shouldn't be playing with such things...."
::He waved his hand and the dagger had turned into a bunch of wildflowers. He laughed again:: "Much better....."
::It was then his face moved into the light. He was.....beautiful. handsome in a way.....but mostly beautiful. His face was narrow, and with a nose and mouth one would expect to see on a elf....His skin was fair and his features had a odd grace to them....but it was his eyes that most people noticed first. large and slightly slanted at the sides they were a eerily pale green and glowed like candles::
"Explain myself?" He asked curiously:: "Do you mean to ask who I am or what I am doing? Or both together? Or not at all? And did you intend to kill me if you could? Of course now you can't...but would you have tried?"
::This entire exchange took place in the same musical tone he had used before, only now it seemed highly amused. and he waited, eyeing Evelyn with his glowing eyes::#nosmileys

Evelyn looked to her dagger as the man began to cackle and she blinked as it had suddenly transformed into a bunch of wildflowers and instantly, Evelyn dropped them with pure disgust upon her face.
"FLOWERS!? Mother o' God! Ye turned my favorite dagger inta FLOWERS?!" Evelyn growled at the man before her, she clenchd her fists and at first thought of reaching for the next dagger she kept hidden away, but instead, opted that it would be best she did not wield the object and cause further daggers to be lost.
He moved forward a bit and Evelyn backed up slightly, her heel stepping over Eric's toes slightly and she stared at the figure before her. He spoke in a sing song sort of tone and Evelyn could only lift a brow at him curiously, she had begun to seriously question her sanity at this point and pulled out her flask of rum and took a small draft from it.
"Well either way ye'd be explaining yerself somewhat, an' at THIS point all yer doin' is making a song fer Christs sake." Eve stated sternly, nodding her head and then staring straight into his green, bright, eyes. Her hands were upon her hips now and her boot tapped a bit as she awaited a response. At the moment she was JUST interested enough to actually stand and await his response to her, but if he tried her patience any further, she would much rather make way towards Eric's home and be done with the odd, the insanity, and all the complete disaster the day had been.

"Oh....well if it was your favorite then..." He waved his hand and the dagger was restored, better then new. It practically glowed. The flowers however...ended up in Evelyn's hair::
"So demanding..." He added. Then oddly enough his voice changed....to Evelyn's own::
"Well either way ye'd be explaining yerself somewhat, an' at THIS point all yer doin' is making a song fer Christs sake." He laughed, his voice changing back at once....::
"And I will explain....in time...and maybe soon...but not yet, my pet..." He floated a bit closer, still smiling and glanced at Eric, amused.::
"For now all you need to know is this....I am the wanderer of the night." He smiled at her, a mischievous smile of pure and open playful joy:: "And you......need rest!"
::Seconds later Evelyn and Eric were practically buried under a king's randsom in blankets and pillows, right in the ally. They were pillows and blaknets of bright reds, purples and gold and green, silk and satin and goose down...but as if to add insult to injury...a large shockingly pink pillow landed right on Evelyn's head and practically buried her...::
::Puck laughed and giggled.....clearly amused:: "Go to sleep, my dear friends...and goodnight.....think what you will...and believe, maybe...that this all has been a dream...."
::He bowed once and in a swirling on cloak and silvery hair, was gone as if he'd never been there, leaving the blankets and pillows behind::
::He had other people to visit::
::And he did....he skipped over to the other side of town...seeking out the other members of the crew.....and he came upon the Turner's house. Smiling like a chesire cat he slipped in through a open window, hovering silently in the room. He was in a kitchen::
::He glanced around a bit, poking here and there at all manner of objects, completly silent. If one had walked in on him they would most surely scream. He was floating all about the room, no pretense of human behavior left...:::
:::His finger touched a iron pan and his hissed in pain. His finger burned cooly for a moment or two and he shrank back from it, eyeing the offending pain with great dislike:: "Humans and their iron..." He muttered. Then he floated upstairs....and heard a baby giggling. The being's pointed ears perked up and he smiled::
::With a wave of his hand he sent the nanny and whomever was watching him into a deep sleep. Then floated over to the baby's crib. He smiled:::
"Little James." He whispered and plucked the baby from the crib. The baby eyed him, seemingly trying to decided if he should cry or not. Instead he clapped his little hands and giggled. The being grinned::
"Good little baby...." He whispered. "Such a curious little child...." He smirked and hummed a lullaby, then tilted his head to one side, listening. Someone was leaving the house....He frowned, then tucked the baby back in his crib, under what appeared to be a elaborate baby blanket of sea green::
"Behave yourself young Turner..." James burbled a sound and made a face indicating he didn't want this odd creature to leave just yet. "Sorry...I have to follow..." and he disappeared. Only to reappear a few seconds later a few feet behind Tobbs as she left towards Mark's. He watched, silent::
::When she knocked he chuckled:: "Such lengths mortals go for love...and revenge......" He whispered, and his voice traveled directly to her ears. He laughed and called softly::
"Do you really want to be doing that? Alone? Why not wait?" His voice was musical, and soothing and changed at once to imitate Jack's own:: "Victoria...."#nosmileys

::Jack hadn't been completly awake when Tobbs left, but felt her leave. He didn't think much of it until she didn't return. Jack sat up and looked out the window. It was still dark...but he could just see the horizon was changing a bit more pale::
::Where had she gone off too? Worriedly Jack stood up and began looking around. He eyed the room and noted her boots were gone. Jack frowned. She'd left the house....he began pulling his own boots on and hurriedly went to the door, then he stopped and turned to the nursery. ::
::James was awake and he walked over to the crib. The nanny was asleep near him. Jack touched the baby's head and then left, knowing...just knowing someone had been in the baby's room::
::He made for the front door and headed out in the approaching dawn::

*Tobbs shifted in the doorway as she knocked a bit louder, uncomfortable with the fact that dawn was coming, and Jack'd note her disappearance soon enough. But when the whisper seemed to float out of nowhere into her thoughts...love....revenge....two very coinciding things at times...*
*But something wasn't right. She'd not sensed a follower as she walked here; but now there was someone behind her, speaking. Oddly, it was quite enchanting. She calmed a bit, as she wondered who spoke. Surely a crew memebr, for the situation was known. No, the voice was not of one from the crew. Some sort of spy? Or officer who knew, sent by Norrington? No, the voice was just so...so different...*
'Victoria...'
*She blinked in confusion. Jack? But that was not him at first. He'd not spoken. She'd have known if he followed. But, it was his voice, he spoke her name, the one seldom used. She spoke slowly, wondering how she could get herself out of this one...she could always say she needed a glass of water from Mark's pitcher...*
"Jack...I just had to, I couldnt-"
*She stopped there, wondering exactly what she would have done if she'd been left alone and Mark answered. She still hadn't budged, her eyes tracing the floor and wooden design on the door.*
"Mark...'e....'e could've done anythin' else...but 'e messed with, with you Jack...and anyone 'o even steals a glance at you the wrong way'll 'ave somethin' coming to them on my part. Mark my words."
*She was being rather honest about it. She knew he could fend for himself. But thatd not keep her back from sharing a piece of her mind to whomever it was.*
"And by the by, what in bloody 'ell was that voice you were making earlier? Didn't know you could sound different.."
*Something was oddly different. It sounded like Jack, he spoke like she knew he would, but something..something was different. She wondered what was this all about. She had half the mind to turn and face him, but the feeling of being caught still kept her back towards him.*

::Puck quirked an eyebrow then laughed::
"Aww....poor little Tobbs.....be sure to repeat that when Jack shows up...."
::his voice had gone back to it's normal musical self and he hovered a bit closer then he flew up over her head and dropped in front of her, hanging upside down in midair a few inches from her::
"you know it's not polite to talk to people when your back is turned. One might question your manners, Miss Brighton...." ::he folded his arms and glared at her upside down a mischievous grin playing across his face:::#nosmileys

*Tobbs blinked. There was that voice again. And what in blazes was he saying? That was soooo not Jack...! And when it all comprehended in ehr midn that it wasn't, and the anger starting soaking in, there was Puck hovering upside down right before her eyes.*
*She stepped back in a bit of bewilderment.*
"What...what ARE you?"
*By now she'd stepped back again and missed the right angle, stumbling backwards and landing straight on her lower back and bumping her head, all in a thud. Sitting up and furrowing ehr brows, she muttered something not too pleasant and rubbed the back of her head now, wincing a bit when she'd crossed the slight bump she'd just made.*
*Okay. There's a point that can be taken. And a point that can't in people. Tobbs, had no patience, and not a very good, if any, control of her temper. Now, she could slightly manage being called soemthing she wasn't...criticized on manners...meh, she could live...tricked....well, that was always a very thing line to tread, but she could put up with it....but intimidating the one she cared about, therefore revealing her actual emotional and intillectual side, AND causing her to stumble? NOT a good thing.*
*So, let's just say when Tobbs returned to ehr feet, she was not a happy pirate. No, not at all.*
"Alright, listen up, and listen closely, you, you, you WHATEVER you are! It's one thing to go messing with my head before the sun actually comes up, or before I'm properly assembled with all my things and actually clothed well enough for a public audience, but to insult, criticize, AND trick me, therefore leading me into falling back and injuring my ALREADY spinning head, causing further spinning?! NOT GOOD!"
*She was speaking in a rather fast manner, holding onto a bit of fence, or barrel, or something near the door just to balance ehrself out again. And she wasn't happy. Oh no. Not at all.*
"And another thing! I AM not, under any circumstances, poor and little! No sir am I weak in any way! And I'm a buccaneer, you know, PIRATE? P-I-R-A-T-E? Can you spell, you spawn of an ol' sea devil?! Manners! Better watch yer own, mister floatie, you've got your own work to do on your, your so called, MANNERS"
*She said the word as if disgusted wiht the thought of even thinking about it. Then Jack popped up in thought.*
"AND what've you done with Jack? You 'arm 'im and I'll rip every strand of silvery glowing 'air from your 'ead and use it as yer own rope to strangle you with! Mark my words, you 'arm even an inch of 'im, and you're gonna suffer for as long as I live!"
*Okay, so she was really mad. Huffing and puffing by now. She was slightly intimidated by the creature, that was for sure, because she liked to know everything about anything. And with Puck, she knew nothing. And the thought of Jack in jeapordy caused her head to spin....even more than it was, that is.*
"Now, ya filthy demon of tricks! Quit your folly and give me some answers! Or I'll cut a sliver out of you every time ya don't answer, until yer no more than meat to a butcher! THATS RIGHT! BUTCHER!"

::Puck blinked, listening to Tobbs shout and rant with the look of a person watching a mildly interesting theater performance::
::When she finally stopped he grinned even broader and snapped his fingers. A gold hankerchief had wrapped itself around her mouth, effectivly stopping her voice:: "Tsk tsk....can't even take a joke.....as the sea air rendered you humorless as well as loud?"
::He eyed he critically but with the air of playfulness that seemed ever present. He righted himself in the air and touched her head with his outstretched finger, riding her of any pain she might have gotten from the fall and then tilted his head to one side::
"What makes you think I've harmed your captain?"

*Tobbs blinked when the hankercheif wrapped around her and she tried shouting again, but little muffles came out. Nothing effective. When he'd criticized her again, she made an obstinate and bewildered gasp and stomped her foot.*
*Finally silencing ehrself and folding ehr arms about her chest, she listened to the man...or whatever he was, and rolled ehr eyes at his question, gladly happy the pain had been taken away, but still a bit heated about the whole thing.*
"Wlm fm ywm fmum fym hmyuhfm fmy hmfh mufumph mu!"
*She then persisted in shaking ehr finger accusingly at him and pointed at the hankercheif, rolling ehr eyes once more.*

::Puck eyed her then removed the hankerchief carefully then backed away a few feet, giving her plenty of space::
::He smiled then added:: "You know you can just ask a person something politely and they respond quite well you know...."
::But he seemed only amused, and somewhat pleased. Besides...he hadn't done her any real harm. He couldn't see why she was so upset. After all...he'd just talked to her:: "are you going to begin shouting yet again? It's unplesant you know...."

"I CAN BLOODY WELL SHOUT IF I WANT TOO!"
*As if the hankerchief had been withholding a huge amount of shouting, it all gushed out as it was removed. She'd noted his moving back and his easy going nature, which made her lessen up the tension a bit. She was feeling a bit unsafe, and rather wished she'd brought Jack along, just because she felt very protected when he was near.*
"And you don' 'ave to be putting a bloody 'ankerchief around my 'ead to keep me from yelling. I'll yell when I very well please!"
*She huffed and was quiet a second, eying him voer and becoming suspiciously more silent, lowering her voice to its usual volume.*
"And you didn't even 'ave the nerve to ask me to stop shouting before ya MADE me stop...so you wouldn't know 'ow I'd respond or not..."
*She humphed and tossed her hair back behind her shoulder.*
"Now then....I 'eard Jack's voice earlier. It might've been oddly different then. Per'aps you intimidated 'im...so I ASSUMED you'd done soemthing with 'im at first...I dunno...but if you did..."
*At the end she stepped back closer to him, narrowing her eyes and pointing it at him again.*
