Mark listened to what Rhys had to say. He couldn't forgive and forget. He figured most of the crew were just as treatorous as Jack. He Thought of what to say. But couldn't say anything. She left and he just stood there in the dead of night. He knew the whole crew was on Jack's side. The only person on his was Sam. He didn't care much. He still wanted to kill Jack...because afterall Jack wanted to spill his blood more than anything. Kill or be killed...the law of nature. He would have let the crew stay at his house...but they would do as cowards do and slit his throat while he slept. They were all cowards to him...maybe not all of them...Jack was for sure. He didn't know how to make this right. Going back in time would help...but would he have changed the outcome? Would he not have blown up the Pearl? Perhaps not. Perhaps he would have went on another adventure and left Jack to die. Then he would know what it was like. He still couldn't understand why it had happened. Jack's explination was ignorant. "If it wasn't me....then someone else in the crew..." Only trouble was that the rest of the crew, save Rhys, had left him too.

Rhys stood in the shadows being soaked through once more. She regained her composure slowly and made her way through the night. She was on a mission to find the old attick where she had stayed with her brothers those long years ago. They had found a new home once Ryley had died.
She paused as she passed by the hospital. She knew Sam was in there. He had been injured and she knew that Mark had brought him here. The information had been recieved and stored despite the fact she had been in a daze. Stopping in the middle of the road she stared at the building.
She walked around looking in all the windows until she found Mark's room. He was alone lying on a bed. She quietly pried his window open and slipped in. It was late and she knew that if caught she would be thrown out, but she needed to talk to him. Walking as quietly as she could with shoes that squished at every step, she made it to Sam's bedside.
"Sam," she whispered gently, "Sam, it's Rhys. I need help." When she was sure he was awake she asked, "How are ya doing? It sucks being injured, doesn't it?" She attempted a smile before asking, "I need a favor, Sam. I need you to stop Mark. If he goes to fight Jack he'll die. You need to help me stop him. Please, Sam?" She pleaded with her eyes, begging him to help her out. Begging him to help her save the man. She wasn't sure why she was doing this, or why she felt so compelled to save him, but she was and so she was doing this.

Evelyn looked over at Emma as she gave a shout in anger, obviously aimed at the man who had betrayed them and she shook her head. Evelyn had actually liked the man, but now...she wasn't sure what to think really. Inside, she was burning with hatred and it would take a HELL of a lot to get her to trust him again. Looking to Emma and Rick as they made away into the night Evelyn gave them a small smile and called out after them. "Right mates...see ye in the mornin' then, savvy?" she called as they left and she looked over her shoulder again at the burning wreckage.
Evelyn turned around to Eric again and looked around a bit puzzeled but heard encroaching marching and she looked back to the darkened streets. "Well...tha's our cue Eric..." Evelyn said with a smirk and took hold of Eric's arm and encouraged him to follow her towards a nearby alley. They scurried away quickly, making towards the darkened and dingy place where Evelyn looked out to the cobblestone streets. Quite a few soldiers had hurried out towards the docks and they watched the wreckage with awe.
"Looks like the Navy knows we're here now..." Evelyn muttered, rolling her eyes a bit and then running a hand through her curls. "GAH! I thought I could trust that bloke Mark!" Evelyn said with a soft growl and took a few deep breaths, leaning against the dirty wall and then staring at Eric on the opposite side of her in the narrow alley. " I mean...fer God's sake! He gave us a damned good CAKE! How could someone who does THA' go an' stab us in the bloody back?" she asked shaking her head.
She attempting to calm herself and in this cold weather it was working. Eric was only lit now by a ghostly, pale, moonlight that washed over him gently, illuminating his soft, short dark blonde hair.
He had changed much since he had first joined them on the Pearl and Eric had seemed to also have built up a bit of a tougher exterior which Evelyn supposed was all a part of morphing into this sort of lifestyle. As long as he remained the warm person underneath, that's all that mattered to her. Besides... Evelyn enjoyed this tougher side of Eric...it was oddly something that made him even more attractive to her...
