*Tobbs'd been rather silently enjoying ehrself as they went into Port Royale. She'd ran off and got a few things, visited an old friend or two, then returned to the crew with Jack. She never steered too far. Bad experiences kept her from that.*
*As if she blinked and everything happened, Tobbs now stood, looking quite blankly, just beside the others where Jack and Mark were fighting. The Pearl was gone. Her home was gone. But more importantly, a piece of Jack was gone. And she knew he felt it really badly now. So all that mattered was fixing things. Not her own feelings.*
*When Sam spoke, whom she'd not thought she'd met, she blinked a few times and glared at him. Right now, she wouldn't be nice to anyone but those closest. And being that he was telling Jack, she assumed, to get off, she was mad. Had he not just realized what had happened? What was taken away from them? From Jack?*
*Evy's voice snapped ehr back to attention. She prepard to dodge in between them, but Mark backed down. And she knew Jack wouldnt let this go so easily. She actually glared at Mark as he walked away, feeling a bit of a grudge against him and his need for revenge. How dare he take away a thing they all felt so attached too? So....so homely...*
*Sighing, Tobbs looked back to Jack. She watched him quietly. She saw where he looked. Knew what he thought. Knew what was on his mind. She was unsure now what to do. To approach and try and be there for him, or let him vent and be alone. Well, being whom she was, she really didnt like the thought of leaving him alone. So no matter if he'd blow up at her. She'd go to him now.*
*Slowly slipping down beside him, she kept her eyes on the ground, refusing to let them look towards the ship. She couldnt bear to see it. So she let her gaze fall on him, and to see his expression, and to feel the loss, made her a bit teary-eyed. It was all...rather depressing...but she'd not let that get to her now.*
*Speaking might not work. No. She would try and keep silent until he would speak. So, glancing back to Evy, she sighed slightly and inched closer to him, slipping her hand on his arm and into his hand, wondering if he'd even pull away or not. And she knew not what to do, but could only be there to offer support, and get the support of his presence as well.*

::Jack didn't react to Tobbs. No...he was quite beyond reaction at this point. No....he was slowly building up his emotions inside right now....he wouldn't make a damn sound...::
::A tear left a trail down his face and he frowned staring at the ship. He wasn't sure what enranged him more. The fact that his ship was gone or that fact that the person who'd destroyed his home was still alive....::
::He let out something that might have been a sigh...or a growl...he wasn't sure himself and he wasn't sure how he'd deal with this.....he just....he wasn't a captain anymore.....his ship was gone....truly gone.....::
::Jack's hand twitched a bit, and closed around Tobbs' hand. He just stared at the smoldering wreak and was silent. He could feel his own injuries.....but somehow...he just didn't care at this point. He felt like dying himself::

*Tobbs had drawn her eyes out towards the ship's remains. She'd have to face the music sooner or later. Better sooner than delaying it until later. So she stared at the mass that once was her home.*
*She wanted to cry. But she couldn't. She could feel that deep down sorrow, but she couldn't manage anymore than a silent sniffle, if it could be called that. She didn't know why. Perhaps it hadnt sunk in yet. It would soon.*
*Feeling Jack's hand and glad he'd not pulled away, she gently brushed the tear trail away with all the tenderness she could muster up in such an act. She wondered where Mark was. Wondered if he'd come back. Wondered what wuld happen then, and if she could stop it.*
*Where to begin...Shed have to say soemthing before Mark got there. She'd have to let Jack know he wasn't alone in this sudden anger towards Mark, but to also know that the man had his supporters and reasons too. She'd have to think; step in the way, or not?*
"Jack....I know....I despise him at the moment too....half the crew must...if not all..."
*She let another sigh escape her lips.*
"The boy's rash....he's revenge stricken....he must've been out of his mind..."
*She was trying to slip in the thought of him being out of it enough to not realize how huge this was. But to still let him know she was on Jack's side the whole way through. Kind of tough in the tense moment. But she had to say something. And she knew Mark would be coming back. And she'd be prepared when he did*
*Shrugging a bit and resting her head on his shoulder, as if suddenly exhausted by all the sadness and loss, she pondered. What to do when he came back. What to do when she had the power to make it stop....and if she really wanted it to, or not...*

Her honey eyes darted about the different faces around her. Sam was struck, that's all she knew, and then Mark and he were gone. She shivered slightly then, her eyes looked to Eric as if expecting him to make it all better, but knowing that at the moment, nothing could. She looked over at Tobbs and Jack and felt a bit sad for him, her Captain loved that ship more than anything...well...at least as MUCH as anything else in his life.
Evelyn could only stare off at the burning wreckage and shivered again. She took the parchment from her pocket and looked it over, bringing it towards Eric and then sighing heavily with a bit of sorrow. "Well...at least I can keep the pieces of it." she said with the slightest hint of a chuckle, pocketed it again, and then looked out. "That was our home Eric..." Evelyn stated slowly, her teeth biting down on her bottom lip a bit.
She was angry, angrier than she had ever known herself to be, but that was irrelevant now. The anger couldn't be expressed...Mark wasn't around for that sort of thing, and she decided it wouldn't benefit anyone if she simply sought the man out and gave him a good beating. No, instead, all she could do was remain angered, frustrated, and a bit depressed.
"Gah...we gotta get our ship back..." Evelyn muttered as she crossed her arms and frowned. Her eyes looked upwards at Eric. "We gotta get our 'ome back." She said wtih a solemn, determined nod.

::Jack's eyes closed a few minutes, as if trying to sort his mind out. He couldn't quite understand....how....how the ship was gone.....it was....::
::he turned to Tobbs:: "Doesn't matter.....he knew what he was doing.....he knew that....that destroying my ship....it would..." He clenched his teeth. He was beyond words right now::
"We'll get our ship back.....or...a new one...we're still a crew....for now.....and..." Jack's voice faltered. He was just all speech and correrent talking. He had his crew to think about.....and he had to think of how to take care of them...what to do....::
"I'll fix this..." Jack said with a tone that suggested he felt the weight of the world on his shoulders in that moment. "I'll get us a home....or....I'll fix this one...."
::He knew the Black Pearl up and down. He knew every piece of wood, every peg and sail....he could rebuild one....he had the blue prints in his head...he could...but it'd take so long..and pirates weren't exactly welcomed in Port Royale....he'd have to get a new ship...something to sail on and get his crew out of Port Royale.....::

*Tobbs knew he was right. Mark'd been conscious. He hadnt been possessed or anything, besides that of revenge. He knew how close the Pearl was to them, to the captain. He'd been aware of his intentions to destroy something. But the hard thing was, Tobbs'd somewhat befriended him over the period of time.*
*Listening to him, she could tell he was sorting things out somewhat. Yet, she knew he was pushing back things for him, and trying to pass off as fine for the moment. She wasn't convinced. She knew him more than she even thought she could know him, or anyone else for that matter. And she couldn't take watching him in such a condition-trying to pull off fixing their whole world alone.*
"Jack....you don't have to..."
*She turned to face him more, a rather solemn look upon her face.*
"She's....shes lost....and we can't fix her right now....let alone you by your onesies...we'll all be fine, we will...and we'll all 'elp out to fix this...you aren't alone in this, savvy?"
*She glanced out towards the remains in the water with a heavy heart, knowing that they'd need some kind of time if they would rebuild the Pearl. Emotional time too. As much as they all wanted things back to normal, overstressing and whatnot would not be the best key.*
"We'll fix everythin'....no worries...but right now, I think I'll be tending to you....bloody fight took some out of you...and as much as you might not want too...or think so....you need some rest...as we all do...but you 'specially. So...."
*She looked back up to him, wodnering what he'd do. Wondering if he'd go for the bait. He needed some rest, and definitely some care for what Mark had done in their brawl.*

::Jack nodded slowly but his eyes turned hard when she said the Pearl was gone::
"Yer forgettin, luv...I'm Captain Jack Sparrow...and ye think...after all the strang things we've seen....all the weird lil....magics....that this is the end....?"
::He frowned:: "It's not over yet...it's not over...an I'm gettin this ship back.....it's my home....." He added in a whisper.::
::But he turned away from the broken burning ship and looked at Tobbs and looked at his crew.:: "If any of ye want to leave....enlist on other ships ye have my permission to do so.....I won't hold ye all to me when ye could be finding treasure....but now...my place is here to get my...our home back....an' I will......one way or another...."
::Jack then looked at Tobbs, and then suddenly realized something. They really didn't have any place to go to tend to wounds or rest. And he wasn't about to ask to crash the entire crew at the Turners. He frowned thinking it over a bit.....where to go?::

*Tobbs was relieved he'd not put up a fight to stay and watch the ship...or, what remained of it. But what he spoke of...on getting it back...she had her suspicions over. Just what exactly did he have in that daft mind of his? And being that it concerned the revival of the ship....alright, right now, she didn't even want to imagine...*
*So, thinking ehrself on where to go, she pondered a bit. Wondering if the Turners would mind. Maybe. Be kinda rude. How about Eric, or Mark? Mark out of the picture. Eric's house....well, if he had one here, would it fit the entire crew? And there was always Turner's blacksmith's shop...nah, that'd not work either. So a local tavern, which, being that they were in Port Royale, would be hard to find, or Turner's.*
*Well, they could always kick them out if they really wished it, and direct them to some kind of tavern or something. Looking aroudn to see some sign of either one of the couple, she nudged Jack and began walking a bit in the direction of their home.*
"Maties...I'm heading for the Turners with Jack. We'll be asking for a room or two to stay in. If not, its to the nearest likelihood of a tavern, savvy?"
*Rather saying it as a statement, rather than a question, she awaited no response and began to move again, looking to Jack to offer some kind of assistance if he needed any. She didnt know how badly he'd been hurt. And the thought of Mark scrambling to injure him made her blood tingle. No matter, right now she needed to find Will or Elizabeth. And get the crew someplace to stay. And get Jack cared for, so he could relax a bit..or try to..*

::Jack looked at his crew, sincerly sorry. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a leather pouch. He gave it to Evelyn and then gestured to the crew:: "It's enough gold and jewels to keep the lot of you under a roof until we figure out what to do..and to get some clothes....food..whatever ye need...."
::he looked at Evelyn and added:: "Divide it up among the crew..please...I think I best be finding some rum and some sleep....or Mark.....not sure which order o' course..." Jack added just a hint of his true nature peeking through the shell shocked eyes::
::Then he looked at Tobbs and followed her, unable for the time being to figure out what to do on his own, at least for himself:

(Sarah dahling, James is at home asleep right now, not with me. But dont worry about it, just carry it on like that from here on, I need your help for now ^.^ )
*Elizabeth trembled as she watched the events, a bit of a feeling of heavyness in her heart. She'd not had the Pearl as ehr home, but she knew how much the crew and the captain ahd loved it, as she herself had grown attached to its customs and those aboard it. The scene was so...so depressingly melancholy...*
*When Sarah spoke to her, she grew confused, as if all that was said was in some foreign language. She sensed Will wasn't near her, and this made her scared. She had tried to clear her mind and focus on things, but the loud explosion kept ringing in her ears. She closed her eyes and was silent for the next few minutes, when she felt something pulling on her sleeve.*
*Looking down, she caught sight of a shivering Milly, tugging on her clothes to get her attention. Kneeling down quickly, a sense of soemthing wrong in her heart, she furrowed her brows and leveled ehrself with the little one, brushing her dark brown hair behind one ear.*
"Why, Milly! What's happened? Why has Estrella sent you out so late?"
*Milly shivered-even though a thick coat had been placed over her shoulders and draped along behind ehr because it was too lengthy. She was still her young self, a year older now, the same bubbly self she'd been before. But her childish smile had no presence on her lips now.*
"Miss 'Lizbeth, Mis Lizbeth, Miss 'strella sent me ta, ta get you. She said the baby's not settling down. She says ta get you right away."
*Elizabeth stood slowly, fear shadowing in her eyes. She immediately looked towards Sarah, her friend for a long tiem now, and said rather shakily.*
"Sarah....Sarah, if you'd be so kind as to lead Captain Jack and those who'll accompany him to the house...and..and..."
*She looked in the eyes of the other, worry clearly in them.*
"...And, find my husband....make sure he's safe...I've...I've got to-"
*But she didn't even finish ehr sentence before all the shock wore off and James was all that mattered, he was in need of ehr, and she needed to know all was well. So, grasping Milly's hand in hers, she raced off into the streets, heading straight for the house. When she got there, she threw the doors open and was almost out of breath, catching the eyes of Jacque, one of the butlers and helpers in the household.*
"Where is he Jacque?"
*The man blinked, but pointed upstairs. She raced to his room, still holding Milly, whom dragged along behind her, until she opened the door and came upon Estrella rocking the crying babe, who seemed to be unwilling to give up his frightened screams.*
"Estrella, Estrella what's wrong?"
That loud noise, it woke him. He's just frightened. He's not harmed.
*Sighing in relief, she took James in her arms and sunk down into a rocking chair, holding him close and humming a soft lullaby she'd been accustomed to as a child as well. A few tears fell slowly down her cheeks, the emotion of the entire night catching up with her too quickly to handle calmly.*

*Tobbs watched Evy as they slowly walked on, keeping close to Jack and eying the roads leading to the Turner house. She'd not been there for awhile, if she recalled correctly. She had seen Sarah just a few moments ago, but could not find her now. Perhaps she went to go find Maria or Will. She'd see ehr soon.*
"Come on Captain...almost there..."
*She smiled at him as they approached the doors, knocking and waiting expectantly. When someone opened the door, she spoke quickly and steadily.*
"We're friends of the Turners. This is Captain Sparrow, I believe we need to have a word with-"
"Jacque, let them in. These are friends indeed. I'm Miss Estrella. The Miss'is told me to let you and those with your company in. We've got a few rooms ready. Follow me please."
*Tobbs blinked. Well that was rather quick. She looked to Jack and shrugged, following the lady up the stairs silently and into one of the spare rooms. It had a small fireplace, and while modest in space, it was pretty elegant nonetheless. She guessed this section of the house had been for guest rooms, and this, ebing one of it, was prettily decorated. The fire was going, there were cloths and fresh water in the basin, and a few new garments were in the closets. A few servants took the thigns that had been salvaged from the ship, or went out to go get the ones that were still left near the docks.*
*She thanked the lady and shut the door, ying Jack as she unraveled a rolled up bundle of cloth.*
"Now then...let's see about those injuries..."
*She went back again, close to him, looking for some damage the explosion ahd done, and how he'd been hurt while on the burning Pearl, as well as the fight. She gestured for him to sit, or lay down, or something other than stand And when he did, she began silently aiding him, glancing over occasionally up in his eyes, and then back to what her focus had been on...waiting for something, for owrds, or for something from him thatd break up the silence...as she knew not if thats what he wanted, or not..*

((Oops! Sorry...I wasn't sure so...yea))
Sarah nodded as Elizabeth went to go make sure James was ok. She was sure he was, so she tried not to let it worry her. She walked over to where Will, Jack, and most of the crew were.
She felt kind of awkward, seeing that they were was in distress and that she had tears running down her face. She hated crying in front of people. Maybe we should go back to the house...it's getting colder. Sarah shivered. There seemed to be a wind, but the trees weren't swaying.
She looked back to where the Pearl had been. Smoke rose off the water, into the sky, causing a spooky effect. She hoped Jack would agree to come back to the house. She didn't want anyone getting sick and they needed to decided what to do.

Jack's voice then brought Evelyn out of her stunned trance. It seems he was formulating a plan to move the crew somewhere for the night and she frowned and gave a slight groan. She felt trapped...Evelyn had never liked Port Royale and this was just ONE more reason to add to the long list of things she despised about it.
Taking the pouch in hand, Evelyn's eyes scanned around at the crew. They looked to Will briefly and she gave a sigh. "Right then...'ll be splittin' this up evenly fer all of us, any suggestions on where ta stay? Because honestly...Will, I won' feel righ' sleepin' in a place as grand as yers, savvy? Eric an' I have a small place a few of you can cram into if ye'd like...its nothin' much, but its a home nonetheless..." Evelyn trailed off with a bit of a smirk.
"Right then...here's yer share Emma...use it wisely..." Evelyn stated with a slight wink. "Yers Rick, Eric's, Maria, an' the rest..." she muttered as she counted out the gold pieces carefully. Now, I suggest we all find some cover soonly since that damned Navy will no doubt be on their way to check out this whole situation." Her voice was quite nonchalant as she passed the coins out, Evelyn was never one to give orders, and she never would...she knew the crew could take care of themselves, as she could herself.
Her eyes turned to Eric and then gently shifted towards the Turner's home. The cold in the air stung her skin, she was still sopping wet from having dove straight into the seas and she was quite tired. It was all a rather uncomfortable situation, and all she wanted now was to get home and rest.
The soft swish of the turqouise waters washed ashore and then rolled out once again. The palm trees that lined the beach in a sporadic pattern blew against the strong winds. Meanwhile, out in the near distance, there lay chunks of the Pearl, slowly burning. The clouds rising and disappering into the heavens, the crackle of the fire was a constant drone at this point. Her curls blew across her face once again, and she tore her eyes away from the scene. She couldn't bare watching her home desintigrate this way.
Evelyn had known Mark...she had even ENJOYED the man's company, which was a rarity. She gave a grunt and shook her head. Her eyes narrowed picturing Mark again and she ran a hand through her hair. "I still can' believe he did this...I mean...tha' was MY bloody home too!" Evelyn said with a soft growl as she crossed her arms and looked up to the crew and Eric.

Mark sat on his porch. He looked out blankly. He knew what he would do would affect the whole crew. They would be homeless now. He thought about letting them stay at his house...but they'd have him on the ground with his throat slit open before he could even say "sorry." The truth was he wasn't sorry....well he felt a little bad for the rest of the crew. Jack wanted him dead he knew that. If that was how it was going to be....and he figured it would be......he was going to take Jack with him. He began to get really frustrated.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!"
He let out a loud yell. He began to breathe quickly. A fire lit up in his eyes. He'd fought some tough people. Jack, could easily be taken out. The man was drunk a lot of the time anyway...or at least that his how it seemed to him. He drew his father's sword. It shown brightly in the moon. Soon it would taste blood. The blood of a traitor. Suddenly all the crap in his life showed itself again. The death of his father and brother...his capture and branding...the fight with the cannibals...the pungi stick....the abandoning. Jack was wrong. They had all made camp for the night....or at least stayed for a time....Mark still couldn't remember it all. But the point was everyone was there long enough to notice him. He stood up quickly. He began to march down to the wreckage. He knew the crew would want his head. But the fight was between him and the Captain.. Well he wasn't a captain anymore...can't be a captain without a ship. Although it was their home too. He was prepared to fight them off. If he had to he would kill them. He dreaded the thought of it though. The only person he had a blood lust for was Jack. He'd never intended to kill the man, but since his life was on the line he might as well vanquish his enemy before he is killed. He got to the scene and stood there.
"Sparrow!"
He called out.
"We end this now!"

Rhys watched in confusion as Jack attacked Mark. She couldn't comprehend much past the point that she was left homeless once again. Only this time Mark had caused it, or so he said. And for what? Revenge? She could understand that, yet she couldn't. She was left standing next to the smoldering remains of what once was home, in the middle of the area that had taken away her true home. In the midst of a place full of people who wanted her, dead or alive.
She barely noticed as part of the crew moved off, the fight broken up. She stared around in confusion. Her eyes roamed over the people around her. She breifly saw Eve handing out gold to other members, but she didn't comprehend what was going on.
With a last look around, she started plotting out where to sleep. The abandoned building two blocks away was no doubt turned into popular sleeping quarters. The meeting place was bound to be full of people trying to stay dry and even the over hang a few blocks from the Turner's residence was likely to be full. It left only one option, the attic of the Gumbal's. She had stayed there many nights, only she and her two brother's had known of the hidding place.
The rain started to come down again, quietly dousing some of the flames in front of her. That was when she realized that she was wearing Mark's clothes. Shaking her head she slunk into a shodow. She was invisible to all but the night life now. Silent as a ghost she moved through the streets until she arrived at Mark's home. She pulled a knife out of her boot and pried his window open. A silent struggle ensued as she lifted herself up and through the window. It was hard being so out of practice, but she managed to make it through without a sound.
Her clothes had dried out in front of the fire and she smiled slightly before quickly beginning to change back into her own clothes. Unable to keep Mark's, unwilling. Besides, her own would help her blend with her old crowd better.
