This'll take place....maybe about a year after El Dorado. And We'll be visiting Port Royale.
Jack Sparrow and Co have been "peacefully" sailing the Caribbean for nearly a year now. Carefully keeping an eye on Port Royale and waiting for word on Will and Elizabeth's child.
It's around this time when news reaches them about the Turner child they decide to visit the sleepy fort and enjoy themselves. And harass the stationed Navy and Norrington of course. (I mean honestly, it's fun)
However a traitor makes their way onto the Black Pearl there. When Jack and his crew get out of the harbor, the ship is set on fire and explodes. (Yes, I destroyed the BLACK PEARL! *plays dramatic music*)
Jack is furious, as is to be expected, and sinks into a depression of sorts. Finally while in Port Royale he and Will hear an old legend. A old medallion that can turn back time.
Of course this could very well be true, after all Jack and his crew have seen it wouldn't exactlly be a far stretch. But the problem is this. The Medallion was broken by it's makers. Three pieces spread across the Seas. The pieces have to be found and united before it can work, assuming of course it does.
Jack wants to use the medallion to reverse time and save his beloved ship. But the medallion was destroyed for a reason. The power to change time is not something to be taken lightly. And in the hands of a pirate, no matter how noble the cause, its a dangerous thing.
NOTE: It's worth saying and mentioning the origins of this plot. "All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you." It was a rather odd thing that I was listening to the POTC soundtrack while looking at A ROTK trailer. And that wonderful quote from Gandalf is what gave this rpg its heart.
Rules:
1. no spamming 2. ALWAYS STAY IN CHARACTER 3. NO cursing!!!! 4. Common curtesy is a must 5. NO GODMODING (unless otherwise stated) 6. have fun maties
Current Going Ons: On our way to Mark's Home. We'll get a bit of a pick up in plot soon enough.#nosmileys#nosmileys

Avery woke up, the slight swaying of the ship soothing him and almost making him want to sleep again. The warmth at his side stirred slightly and he grinned tightening the grip his arm had around the body. The movement stopped after a moment. Finally, he opened his eyes and lifted his head slightly. There was no light in the cabin, but he could make out the form of his blue-eyed sorceress in the dark. She was nestled against his side, trying to find warmth.
"Ry," a voice whispered, "you've got to get up. It took me long enough to find you, you'll be late getting to your shift." She blinked and his eyes made out the grey form of a man, one of his cabinmates. He was the reason he had woken up.
"Alright, I'll be up on deck in a few minutes," he whispered back. He lay silent, until he heard footsteps turn, the door open and shut again. They were alone again. Sighing quietly, he dropped his head and kissed Tasha's forehead, before quietly disentangling himself from her. He had come in to talk with his sorceress the night before, but she had fallen asleep. And once again, as he moved to leave, she called out and asked him to stay.
Using his training as a theif, he moved silently through the room as to not disturb her. He found his shirt in the corner and quietly pulled it on. With one last long glance at the sorceress curled up in bed, he turned to leave, to take over for his shift.

Tasha stirred slightly in bed. She was cold and rolled over to be closer to Avery. Avery, of course, had left and she rolled onto the cold, hard floor. She moaned slightly as her head hit her bedside table. She rubbed her head and struggled to open her eyes. Avery...where the... She then noticed he had left. She felt abandoned once more, but heard him talking outside her door and relaxed.
She struggled to sit up and reached for a bottle of rum. She took a sip and felt awake. She drank another gulp or two and felt good enough to get up. Once she was done the bottle she felt good enough to start her day. She quickly washed her face and dressed. She left her cabin and headed towards the kitchen for some breakfast and more rum.
She saw Avery on deck and wanted to talk to him, but winked instead. She saw Selina and quickly walked up to her. 'ello Selina 'ow are ye? 'm gonna make meself some breakfa't, would ye like te o'company me? 'f ye're te busy I could jist make sum'thin' for Micheal 'n ye.

Rhys looked down at the table while Mark spoke. His words sank in slowly, and she couldn't bring herself to look up. He couldn't have just said what he had, she must have been halucinating. But no, she couldn't have been. Her grip tightened slightly on her chair and she bit down slightly harder on her lip.
She needed to get away, and her mind was frantically thinking up ways to escape. But an image of the haunting eyes flashed in her mind and she froze, all movement stopped for a minute. She was scared, scared that if she left she would... no she wouldn't think about that. There was nothing she could do, she was stuck there and unable to come up with a response.
In all honesty, her mind was telling her that this would just lead to horrible consequences. It was screaming 'He shot your brother'! Yet she couldn't bring herself to say or do anything. Some part of her wanted to stay close to him, the only real person she had opened up to in over a year. Probably the worst thing she could do.
Slowly, she lifted her eyes from the table and locked gazes with him. She found herself unable to say anything, or do anything. Blue eyes stared into a lighter set of blue eyes. Neither able to break contact, nor willing to at the moment.

Mark realized that he seemed to making her feel uncomfortable. In his head he was calling himself an ass for coming on too strong. He thought of something to say to change the subject. He said the first thing that came to mind.
"Do you like turkey?"
He said with a smile. "Do you like turkey?" What kind of dumb ass thing was that to say. He let out a sigh and looked up at the ceiling for a moment. He looked over at the turkey and he felt his stomach rumble.
"Boy do I wish the others would get here, I'm getting mighty hungry, and besides they're late."
He didn't really know what to say. It seemed to him that Rhys didn't feel like talking too much. He figured this was the most she'd talked in a long time. His mind turned to Jack
"Do you know what that crazy Captain of yours is up to next? Where is he headed?"
He said trying to draw attention away from his turkey comment. He looked over at Sam who was trying not to giggle. He knew the turkey comment was funny but he didn't like Sam laughing at him at the moment. Sam pretended he wasn't paying attention to what was going on, which was alright with Mark, it wasn't much his business anyway.

Rhys almost sighed in relief as Mark thankfully changed the conversation to a different topic. The red-head was finally able to pull her eyes away from his and went back to staring at the table, a small blush on her face. However, she managed to cover it up with a cough. Sadly it wasn't a fake cough. It seemed that her escapade into the rain was going to be getting to her. She only prayed she didn't get too ill that she couldn't take care of herself.
Talk turned to the Captain and she shook her head, "All I know is that we're staying here tonight. I've been taking the night shifts lately, I don't run into many people because of it." She almost found herself explaining why she was avoiding the crew, but she bit her tongue to keep from bursting out.
Her eyes scanned the room, running over the food and along the walls, past a window where the rain poured down. For a second she thought she saw a speck of blue eyes and she jumped slightly. Taking a deep shaky breath she asked quietly, "Do you think I could stay here till we leave? I... don't think that going outside right now would be a good idea..." Her eyes shifted between Sam and Mark waiting for one of them to answer her plea and hoping that she didn't look to scared, too pathetic.

Mark heard her cough and looked at her a second. He was taken back a bit by the question of her staying the night.
"Of course you can stay the night. Mi Casa Es Su Casa. You can sleep in the guest bed room, although I'd advise you to light a fire. Are you coming down with something?"
He stated as he leaned forward. He was glad she seemed to be warming up to him. At least she wasn't scared to ask him things anymore.
"Stay as long as you need. You say the crew is leaving in the morning, but you don't know where? That sound odd..."
Mark said mostly to himself.

Evelyn smirked at Eric's mention of suddenly feeling warmer and she tidied herself up. Evelyn made sure all her effects were in place and then slipped on her boots when Eric snatched a coat. She turned to face him as he spoke. "Don' worry 'bout it mate...'m fine..." she began to say and almost made to take off the coat when Eric tossed her a stern glance. She smirked and shook her head as he scooped her hand up in his and she gripped it tightly.
The rain was pouring down heavily now and as they stepped out of the home and stood on the porch for a moment she frowned a bit. "I hate the bloody rain...damned bloody water..." Evelyn muttered and looked at the violent rain that now crashed over Port Royale. Her honeyed eyes looked everything over and she placed her other hand about Eric's upper arm. "Well...ready when you are mate..." she smirked looking up at him and knowing she would be soaked by the time they reach Mark's home.
She followed Eric's lead as he ran off into the inky black night. Her boots raced over slick cobblestoned streets and she shivered a bit as they jumped over puddles and avoided carriages that then slowly made their way down the now abandoned, icy Port. The rain seeped into everything, washing dirt down dirty alleyways, cleansing rooftops, and causing the waterline in the ocean to slowly rise.
Evelyn then stepped a bit awkwardly during their small scurry through the rain and slipped a bit but a strong arm kept her from hitting the ground. She blinked at Eric and smiled. "That woulda been disastrous mate...I mean...if YOU let me fall...ye would 'ave been dead." She said loudly through the sudden boom of thunder and giving him a wink.

*As they stepped outside they lingered for a moment beneath the roofing of the house. It was raining like hell now making it hard to see but a few feet in front of you. He was glad his feet knew the way to Marks house because his eyes certainly wouldn't find it in this weather. He glanced over and grinned as Evelyn clearly stated her distaste for the rain.
Eric himself had always liked the rain. All his life he had, he found it comforting in a way...even when it was coming down as hard as this. Besides he dealt with this kind of water better then he did being out on the ocean. But he was learning the ropes and was gradually getting used to his new found sea legs....even if his landlubber ones still worked best.
Although every time he looked at Evelyn he couldn't help but decide that the trade off was deffinantly worth it. Give up land and gain her, he was certainly getting the better end of that deal. As she took up his arm he gave her a nod and they ran out into the pounding rain. He ducked his head and squinted as they rushed along.
A moment later he felt Evelyn stumble a bit and he quickly grabbed her, keeping her from falling. He smirked at his comment and rolled his eyes.* Your grace amazes me, Evy. *He said with a laugh, returning the wink. Finally he spotted Marks home up ahead and he hurried along faster then before.
Without bothering to knock he just opened the door and stepped inside, not wanting to be out in the rain any longer. He could only hope now that Mark understood. The man did seem kind of...uptight. Inside he saw Rhys who had obviously been conversing with Mark and then there was Sam who seemed to be hungrily minding his own buisness.* Hello, sorry to bardge in like that, Mark. Its raining like hell out there...hope you understand. *Eric said, slightly out of breath as he ran a hand through his soaked hair and removed his sopping wet coat.*

Before long, Evelyn found herself barging into a fine home and she shivered. She shook out her mane of sopping curls and bit her lip. Her face had gone a bit pale from the cold and she slowly removed her coat as Eric spoke to Mark excusing his barging in. Evelyn only gave a short laugh and looked over at Mark as she hung her coat. "Well I'm not bloody sorry...I mean it was either we do tha' or we wait fer ye ta actually ALLOW us in...an' I wasn' about ready ta freeze ta death." Evelyn said with a sly smirk and then looked around the home.
Her eyes travelled to Rhys. "Hello Rhys mate...good ta see ye made it here alive." She said offering her a smile and then looking around the home, her eyes dancing about all the fine items within. "Well, looks like ye put yer gold ta good use mate..." Evelyn said to Mark slowly as her eyes passed over a large fine lamp. She reached out and graced her fingers over its surface when it suddenly toppled over and crashed into a million different pieces.
Evelyn cringed, blinked at it, then whistled innocently and stepped away. "Bloody 'ell...that damned draft went an' knocked the lamp over..." Evelyn said a bit awkwardly and quickly made to Eric's side, deciding that if Mark made to kill her for destroying it at least she wouldn't die without a bit of justice done for her.

The room fell silent for only a moment. For suddenly the front door burst open and Eric and Evy came bursting in. This caught Mark by surprise.
"BLEEDIN' CHRIST! OH! Eric, my dear Evy. Come in...Come in. It's pourin like 'ell outside. Let's get you by the fire so you can dry off, unless you want to dress into a pair of my clothes...wouldn't be a problem. So how have ya two been." He asked when suddenly Evy knocked over his lamp. He gave her an odd look as she blamed the draft and inched towards Eric. He snickered a little and shook his head. It was just a lamp, nothing major. "I can get another one later."
Mark showed them to the couch and plopped them on it in front of a fire he had going.
"Rhys is already here. I believe you have met Sam. Dinner will is ready if you want to go make you a plate. I guess it will be more like a buffet get together rather than a sit down dinner since everyone is arriving at different times. Better get that turkey before Sam gets it all"
Mark was feeling rather settled around the small group in his house. He always felt comfortable around Eric and Evy and now he did a little more with Rhys. He sat down at his spot in the table and began to fill his plate. He was starving by now.

Sam was occupied about thinking about random things. He was trying to give Mark and Rhys their privacy without being rude and going away. Although it didn't seem to matter if he was there or not. Suddenly the door burst open. He was in the middle of ballanceing a spoon on his nose when it happened. He spoon came down and made a loud Glang as it hit the plate below. He jumped out of his seat a bit and noticed two people run in. Mark knew who they were, so did he. He waved to them and watched as they sat down on the couch. He went back to pondering random things. He wasn't too concerned about anyone right now. He looked back into the living room at Evy. He thought she was really pretty and he grinned because he figured she was taken. He looked in at Eric and grinned at him a bit. Mark had told him what he knew about them. From the way it sounded it was deffinately an odd realationship. He was happy to hear that he could go ahead and eat. He filled his plate with Turkey, mashed potatoes and all the rest. He ate as gentelmanly as he could. He hadn't eatin a thing since breakfast!
"So Eric how were you so lucky to come across Evy. She is a pretty woman."
Sam asked trying to be friendly but when he thought it over it seemed more like he was dropping a line to Evy. He sighed a bit and placed a mouthfull of potatoes in his mouth to keep him from talking for a moment.

*Eric laughed and rolled his eyes as Evelyn proclaimed that she wasn't sorry for barging in. Somehow he hadn't expected her to be. He just shook his head and let his eyes wander about the room. Evy was right, the man did seem to be doing well for himself. It was a lovely home indeed and just like the Governors mantion, it sprang up distant memories of his past. He smiled slightly and his eyes were far away.
Suddenly he heard a loud crash and he snapped back into the present and jumped, spinning around to face the noise. He cocked a brow as he saw the shattered lamp upon the floor. It didn't take him long to guess who the culprit was as Evelyn worked up an excuse and inched towards him.
He couldn't help but grin as he glanced over at Mark, wondering how the man would react. He doubted the man was highly attached to his possesions, at least not a lamp and probably wouldn't do much more then clean it up. But still, after El Dorado he wasn't too sure how the man would take anything and so he lingered by Evelyns side.* Like I said, Evy...your grace amazes me. *He chuckled, nudging her a bit. However Mark just grabbed them and led them into the other room where they could warm up and dry off by the fire.
As he rubbed his hands together and shook out his clothes in hopes of making them dry faster he heard Sams voice ring out and at first Erics brow furrowed. Sam was an attractive guy no doubt and Eric couldn't help but feel a little protective over Evelyn at the moment.* Don't know how I got so lucky. She is a beautiful woman, Im glad I snatched her up. *He stated, putting a rather large amount of emphasis on I, as if he really wanted to make some kind of point to Sam. He even threw his arm around her shoulder.*

Eric's comments made Evy grin at him with a brilliant smile. "I've got WONDERFUL grace I think..." she stated. Her eyes traveled to Mark then as he pushed them towards a couch by the fire and she blinked before she was forced to plop down upon the couch. She smiled and closed her eyes in ecstasy as she placed her hands outward, attempting to absorb the warmth emanating from the hearth of the fire.
She stood and made her way closer to the fire minding her own business and not really paying attention when Sam's last comments reached her ears. She blinked, stood up straight, and looked over her shoulder at Sam. She looked him over curiously for a moment and then smiled. It was always a great compliment for Eve to ever hear something like that directed at her and she had to admit, Sam wasn't exactly the worst looking young man in the world either.
Eric responded rather quickly then and with a stern tone she picked up instantly. She could always tell when Eric was feeling defensive and at the moment, he was. He placed his arm about her shoulders and Evelyn gave a small laugh. "YOU snatched me up?" Evelyn asked him lifting a curved brow and looking into his deep brown eyes. "If I remember correctly, Eric, it was ME who bloody LET ye have me." She nodded. Then she turned to Sam and smiled. "Thanks fer the comments Sam..but there's no need ta go lyin' 'bout what ye think of me..." she laughed.
In trught, Eve never thought herself too special in the way of looks, but somehow, someway, Eric did and that's all that mattered to her, even though she would never admit it to him. She leaned her head upon Eric's shoulder briefly and stared into the crackling, bright, dancing flames. She wrapped her arms about his waist and stood there hoping to warm herself quickly and then parted before grabbing a plate of food for the both of them.
She served herself a plate of potatoes, turkey, and some peas and she gave a small smile at Sam. "Ye know...ye don' look TOO bad yerself mate..." she winked at him and spoke in a low voice before she headed back with a chalice in hand for her and Eric to share by the fire.

*Eric grunted a little as she said that she was the one who let him have her. That was true of course but he couldn't just leave it at that.* Yeah, true. But it was ME who made the first move you know, dangling over the railing when I kissed you. *He said and laughed a little, remembering that whole scene. It still amazed him that they were as close as they were now, considering how much they couldn't stand one another those first couple days they met.
When she spoke to Sam again Eric lifted his brow in surprise and shook his head. He truely did think that Evelyn was a beautiful woman and he considered himself fortunate every day to have her, especially now. How she couldn't see that in herself was beyond him.* He's not lying. *Eric whispered, clearly pronouncing each word. Then he smiled warmly at her, as she wrapped her arms about him. This made him feel slightly more secure with Sams presence in the room. A moment later she slipped away.
He was about to follow her when he noticed she took it upon herself to get them both something to eat and so he remained put. He rocked back and forth on his heels, shoving his hands into his pockets as he blinked sleepily at the flames. His head perked up and he glanced over his shoulder as he just did make out the words Evelyn said to Sam. He fidgeted at this and frowned a little, quickly looking back to the flames. It was bothering him greatly and it clearly showed on his face but he and Evy were having such a perfect night he didnt want to mess it up with jealousy. So he bit his tongue as she returned.*
