Mark watched as the woman strolled around the shop. He was happy that she seemed pleased with his work. Well his teams work. She picked up one with an E on the handle. She placed it on the counter.
"Sam made that one. He does really great work. In fact he made it after I told him about you, and about Eric. It seems you and that gun were meant to be."
He said with a grin. He accepted the coins and grinned back at her. He was shocked to recieve such a compliment from her about himself
"Thanks a lot mate, I mean that. I've been looking, but no one seems to have that spark you know? You take care now. See you tonight."
He said as she walked out the door. He turned his attention to the girl in the corner. He'd noticed her walk in shortly after Evy. He knew who she was and he walked over and kneeled beside her.
"Long time no see. Eh Rhys? How are you doing these days? And why are you in the corner by your lonesome?"
He asked with a confused look on his face.
"I know it must be hard for you to come back here. But you're safe as long as I am around. I won't let anyone try to hurt you, ya hear? You saved my life back in that jungle, I'll never forget that. I want to thank you properly."
He said as he stood her up. He embraced her and gave her a big hug. He was glad to see her again. She was so mysterious to him though.
"I trust you will come to dinner tonight. Well lass, I have to be closing shop now. I'll see you around."
Mark said as he showed her to the door. He tightened the blue bandana around his wrist. He'd gotten a new one shortly after getting home. It would be bad for business if anyone knew he was a pirate. The only person that knew in Port Royal, beside Will and Elizabeth was Sam. He closed up the shop and made his way to the hill where his mother was burried. He knelt down at the grave and began to cry a bit. He tried to visit the grave at least once a week. He layed some purple tulips down upon the lush green grass and made his way home. He had to prepared the large dinner for the night. When he got there Sam was already preparing the Turkey.
"Hey Mark. Look man, I just wanted to help out, to show my thanks for you letting me live here with you. I figured I'd help you with this feast you're planning to have."
"Thank you Sam. No problem. You are the only family I got on this rock, and I wasn't gonna let family sleep on the streets. That damn fire that took your house sure was a sucky deal pal. As far as I'm concerned you can stay as long as you want."
Mark said as he patted the young man on the back. He rolled up his sleeves and began to help with dinner.

*Eric glanced over his shoulder as Jack addressed the crew about not pillaging and he gave a nod. Suddenly his attention went back to Evelyn[b/] as she took him up on his "no touching" offer. He blinked at her a few times, wondering if she was serious. HE certainly hadn't been. Inwardly he was kicking himself in the arse for making that offer, he should of known SHE'D take him up on it. Instead he hid it with a smirk.* Good, its on then. I can go without touching you ,too, you know. *He said, folding his arms.
When she commented on his blade skills he just grinned and rolled his eyes. Couldn't argue with the truth. And besides it wasn't exactly a secret that he sucked with a blade. As they docked he glanced out and spotted Will and Elizabeth. Soon they were approached by much of the crew and he grinned, his eyes landing on the Turner child. Out of the corner of his eye he glanced over at Evy and smiled a little. Now he REALLY hoped that no touching rule wouldn't last long. Will and his wife shouldn't have ALL the fun.
He watched Evelyn go and then slowly made his way off the ship as well. He really hoped he'd win out in this little bet of theirs but the woman seemed to have an unmatched stubbornness...he doubted he'd match it. He glanced around thoughtfully, he'd just have to come with something to weaken her. Maybe this shirt would come in handy after all.
He trotted up to Will and the others surrounding the man and heard the "line" Sam dropped Evelyn about a pretty face. He eyed the man and cleared his throat, as if this would make some statement of some kind. He watched as Sam walked off and then glanced at Evelyn. He grinned at her and walked off again as she wandered off to Marks shop. He began wandering the streets when suddenly he spotted Elinor coming towards the docks. He gasped and glanced around nervously for a place to hide, but it was too late she had spotted him.* Eric! Come here right this moment! Where is that woman? *She called but he quickly took off running and to his dismay she began to chase him around.* Bloody hell *He cried, hoping he could shake her off soon.
He spotted Will and Elizabeths home up ahead and bolted towards it, crashing through the door and slamming it behind him. Governor Swann and an elderly butler stopped dead in their tracks and blinked at him, though the Governor knew vaugley who he was.* May I inquire as to why you are in my home Mr. Jackson? *The Governor asked annoyed. Eric looked at him with hopeful eyes.* Please don't make me go back out there Governor Swann. *He said, and the Governor glanced out the window, spotting Elinor glancing around the street. He grinned and patted the man on the shoulder.* Stay as long as you'd like. *He laughed and Eric sighed in relief. Where was Evelyn when you needed her?*

Rhys was startled out of her thoughts, by Mark's voice. She blinked in confusion a few times. One minute he had been helping Eve, the next he was kneeling beside her. He actually seemed concerned for her and she found herself wanting to respond to his words. She couldn't though, she was to remain distant from the crew, from everyone.
Before she knew it he had her on her feet and was giving her a hug. He was promising to keep her safe, to keep anyone from harming her. The same promise her brother had made. And he had tried, he truly had, but it didn't work. Yet, for some reason she found herself believing Mark. Maybe it was the night they had spent trying to keep each other alive in the middle of the jungle.
She was shoed into the street and she quietly found herself whispering, "Thanks Mark," as the door slid shut. Turning she started on her way towards an old meeting place. She wasn't sure why, but she wanted to see all of her old life. She wanted to walk the streets she once tread daily. It never once crossed her mind what might happen if she were to run into someone she knew. Not until she did at least.
There he stood, the meanest theif of Port Royal. The man who made her life turn from bad to horrible. He saw her and with a sneer motioned for two friends to grab her. "Where have you been, Ry? The Boss has been looking for you, and I've certainly missed you," he said running a grubby finger along her jawline to travel down her neck and only stop when she struggled rather violently.
A quick twist of the wrist brought a blade to her hand and she pressed it against one of her captures throats after wrenching a hand free. The other man backed away, but the first grubby man just advanced, knowing she wouldn't kill the man.
Seeing she could not stop the man, she turned and ran. She was speedy and agile, ducking and weaving between people far faster than the other three could. She lost them, but did not stop running. The tears started, memories flooding back as she raced down the streets, her feet pounding the dirt.
Somehow her feet had carried her to Mark's home. She could hear movement inside and burst in. The door had been unlocked and she needed somewhere to hide. Somewhere, she knew she was safe. Not caring how much noise she made, she collapsed on the ground near the door, curling up into a tiny ball. She tried to pull herself back together, sniffling.

*Will and Elizabeth smiled brightly as the ship docked and the Captain came swaggering towards them, the year hadn't changed him at all. At least not his appearence. Will wondered if it would ever change, and honestly he doubted it. Will adjusted the baby in his arms so that the child was better seen by Jack. To be honest Will had wondered at first if the baby would take one look at the Captain and be frightened half to death.
But the complete opposite happened. The baby grinned and squirmed and made quirky noises, clearly taking a liking to Jack. At the mans comment Will looked up at him and snickered.* We'll see, the boys still young. *He laughed and Elizabeth elbowed him, running a finger along the infants tiny cheek.* William Turner, don't dare call your son stupid! *She exclaimed. Will just rolled his eyes.
It wasn't his fault if stupidity ran in the Turner genes, and besides he prefered to refer to it as being daft. A moment later a rather....interesting hat was plopped on his head and he looked up at the rim hanging over his eyes. He cocked a brow and looked at Jack.* Nice hat. *He grinned.
Elizabeth beamed at her own gift, running the ornate fabric through her fingers and she smiled at Jack.* Oh, this is lovely Jack. Thank you! *She said happily, gladly tying the gift about her waist. They both looked at Jack and laughed as he reffered to their son as an IT. It was obvious the man wasn't a real baby kind of guy.
But the gift he revelaed for the baby made their eyes grow wide. It was one of the grandest things James had recieved yet in his little life. Will gave Jack a thankful nod as the pouch was shoved in his hands and he pocketed it, shifting the baby in his arms before handing the child off to Elizabeth again.* How have I been? Thats how I've been. *He said, nodding his head towards James and Elizabeth. Then he smiled and looked over the Captain and then the Pearl.* How about you? You're still alive, that has to count for something!. *He said, smiling at Emma as she came over, looking down at James.* Thank you, Emma, Rick! And what about you, when are you and Rick going to get cracking? *Elizabeth laughed as she heard Ricks words, nudging the woman a bit.
Will laughed, smiling proudly as she said the boy looked just like him. Of course he wasn't sure if that was a compliment or an insult to the poor boy. He smiled at Evelyn as she came over and he grunted at her comment.* A damn fine miracle if I don't say so myself. *He said as the babys squirming increased. Elizabeth glanced at her and laughed, nodding in agreement. As Emma walked off and Rick spoke, Will tipped his head a little.* What do you want to ask me? *He asked curiously just as Mark announced he wanted to have the crew over for dinner. He nodded and the man walked off into the crowd again. He turned his attention back to Rick.*

Evelyn tucked the pistol away in her belt amongst the teal sash and was able to hide it from view. Evelyn attracted enough attention as it was, there was no need to go ahead and attract more attention through her weapons as well which would technically be confiscated from her by Naval officers or worse...
She looked about the bustling streets and she began weaving her way throughout them casually. Her eyes drifted to the many shops and looked into their windows and she eyed the food and fish stands curiously. A small grin grew on her face as she spotted a small stand holding jewelry. A particular item caught her eye and she stopped to gaze at it. The stall was a rather large one and a few shoppers were gazing about them.
Her eyes were caught upon an item seemingly made of jade and she picked the ring up. The ring was simple enough, a silver band with a green ball in the center. She brought it to her face carefully and made to examine it when suddenly it was smacked away from her hand. "GET your bloody thievin' hands off of my items ye scurvy pirate!" came a shout. Evelyn instantly gave a small hiss, "My thievin' hands...I'll have ye bloody know I was goin' ta PAY fer that!" Evelyn shouted back. The shop owner was a tall man and seemed to have the sole job of protecting the stall. Another on the other end held a small glass to his eye examing the jewelry with a more proper looking customer and she growled.
"Oh WERE ye? Well...even if ye were ye might as well be OFF lass...yer scarin' away the REST of the good business. The more decent kind." The man spat at her and gave a chuckle. There was a small uproar of laughter from the finer folk about her and she glared at the man. "Really now? Well...if yer worried 'bout ME scarin' off the business then ye obviously haven' taken a good look at yerself in QUITE some time..." she sneered and then, taking up a few of the itemse tossed them at his face.
It was a bad move...in an instant the man looked to Evelyn with furious eyes as more laughter erupted. "Ye bloody wench! Ye better clean this mess up!" he called after her. Evelyn lifted a brow and crossed her arms. "Really? Er WHAT, exactly?" she asked giving a smrik and then kicking the stall hard causing many items to go smashing to the ground and startling many of those gathered about.
"That's IT!" he roared and with that he tore away from the stall and lunged at Evelyn. Evelyn gave the man a hardy slap in the face and then made to take out her blade. With a swift movement she weilded it and then came another call. "Here comes the Navy!" a random person called throughout the crowd as if announcing all would be in order soon. With a roll of her eyes Evelyn put the thing away and made to run when she was grabbed about the wrist. The man sneered at her and she gave him a swift punch across the face, he howled, and she took off into the crowd.
She ran quickly through the streets, attracting a bit too much attention and somehow, the man behind her was relentless. "Gah...bloody 'ell...couldn' stay outta trouble fer ONE bloody day could ye?" she asked herself with a bit of frustration. She tore away and headed into a darkened alleyway huffing and puffing and attempting to catch her breath. She remained alert as footsteps neared her and she glanced around wildly.
She closed her eyes and shook her head. "Damned Navy...they take away all the bloody fun honestly..." she muttered.

*Eric had caught his breath and was still leaning with his back against the door as he glanced around the immaculate mansion. He was alone now though he would periodically glance out the window only to find Elinor still snooping around for him. He was surprised she hand't run off the next day and found a rich man to marry. He rolled his eyes at this thought and began to wander around the foyer.
It was beautiful in every way. He tapped a few of the piano keys and sat down on the bench, looking it over. He smiled a little, remembering how when he was young his mother used to try and force him to learn to play the piano. In the end he had only learned a few basic songs, but he played one of them out anyways. He wasn't exactly comfortable in the wealthy mansions anymore, but they still reminded him of his old life and his family none the less. He found some sort of comfort in that.
As he stopped his playing he heard a bit of commotion in the streets and raised a brow. He went over to the window and peeked out just in time to see a blur of Evelyn go rushing past. In the distance were a nice group of navy officers and a single man, though he was rather large. Eric laughed heartily at this and shook his head.* Ah, Evelyn. At least your consistent when you come here. *He smiled and decided to brave Elinor to see what trouble Evelyn had gotten into. He rushed out the door and ran swiftly along the streets to catch up to her.* Evelyn! What'd you do now? *He called, still a good few yards or so behind her.*

Evelyn breathed in heavily when she noticed a familar voice calling out to her and she looked around the corner of the alley and called back at Eric. "Eric! Over here mate quick!" she called at him and motioned him to come towards her. "What the bloody 'ELL are ye doin'? Yer only goin' ta mix yerself up in this mess." She muttered as she glanced up at him and wary of laying a single hand on him. Her honeyed eyes looked him over a bit angrily and she huffed.
"Ye should 'ave jus' stayed wherever the HELL ye were." She almost spat at him. Evelyn crossed her arms and ran a hand through her curls. She remained alert and looked Eric over. "Where WERE ye anyway? Hidin' from me?" she asked giving a smirk. "Afraid ye'd be tempted ta reach out and touch me?" she asked as she slowly slid up and stood, her back against the wall, and her eyes scanning his face over carefully.
Evelyn's eyes glittered with mischief and she took a step closer to him. "Ye know...in the midst o' danger...an' in this dark, almos' none existant sort o' light mate...ye don' look half bad. An' we ARE a bit...secluded from public eyes..." Evelyn said in a soft tone.
Then there was a shout. "Down THERE!" came a call and Evelyn looked down the alley at a group of men headed their way. "Bloody 'ell!" she called and then she sped away, her mind seemed to be in a panic and yet relished in the rush of it all. Although...having Eric closeby did make things a bit more difficult to enjoy. However, before she knew it, she found herself making her way towards their own home and after turning a corner and breathing heavily she stared at the shack ahead.
"C'mon Eric." she called and then ran towards there home where they entered and she collapsed onto the sofa. She was sweaty and out of breath. She shook her head and sighed. "Remind me...ta TRY an' hold back my temper in the future..." she said with a small smirk and lifted her eyes to meet his.

*As Evelyn called out to him and motioned him towards her he gave a nod, slipping into the alley as he glanced over his shoulder. No doubt they were still being followed. He was still glancing back as she muttered at him and he shrugged. He was always getting himself mixed up into one thing or another so why stop now?
As she spoke to him again he turned, leaning against the wall as he caught his breath again, looking her over with a slight grin on his face.* I wasn't hiding from you, I was hidin' from Elinor. The bloody woman spotted me I had to make a run for it. *He stated, wondering if she had joined the crowd that was now currently looking for Evelyn. His eyes wandered up and down her for a moment and he was tempted to touch her but he acted as if he weren't.* I can be around you and not be tempted you know. Though I dunno If I can say the same for you. *He grinned.
As she began to speak to him again in a seductive tone, taking a step towards him he swallowed hard, feeling his face and neck grow hot. He fidgeted a bit and made to speak but only a squeak came out. He cleared his throat and tried it again.* And whats your point? *He asked, still fidgeting when suddenlly a shout arose.
It was the one time in his whole life he had been relieved to see an angry mob of people coming his way. He let out a sigh and stood straight up, jerking around and following her. As they burst into their home and she plopped down on the sofa, Eric shut the door and latched it then fell to the floor and sprawled out. His brown eyes fixed on the ceiling and he was breathing heavily. He noticed Evelyn laying on the sofa and he muttered to himself wondering if it was just him or the rush of the chase that was making her more attractive to him.
Finally he grinned and sat up slowly, eyeing her.* Well I dont know about you but Im deffinantly hot. *He said fanning himself with his hand. Then he casually slipped off his shirt and tossed it at her, a mischevious sparkle in his eye as he stretched and ran a hand through his hair.* There, thats better. *He stated, slightly deepening his already velvety tone.*

Evelyn's breathing slowly steadied as she looked over at Eric. He plopped onto the ground and she smirked slightly, knowing that he was simply avoiding being close enough to touch her. "Keepin' yer distance I see..." Evelyn said slyly. As he mentioned it getting a bit hot she lifted a brow. She was honestly surprised at his actions and blinked as he tossed his shirt onto the ground. "Hot ye say?" Evelyn asked with a smirk and kicking off her boots.
"Ye know...I'm startin' ta feel it myself." Evelyn's voice turned rather soft and she fanned herself with a hand before untucking her loose shirt and allowing it to hang off of her shoulder and then rolling over and staring straight at him. "Ye know Eric...I never DID get ta see yer room too well." she said rather non chalantly and headed towards his bedroom, carefully stepping over him.
Evelyn entered the room and bit her nails a bit, looking around the plain place and then flopped onto the bed with a deep sigh. It was comfortable at least and she closed her eyes gently. "Ye know...i's quite comfy..." she called out to him and closed her eyes slowly. She hummed a bit and then untied her sash and tossed it onto the ground, making sure the sash landed near Eric so that he took notice. Evelyn turned on her stomach and looked over to Eric. He was looking quite tempting at the moment, and the silence of the house only reminded her even more of just HOW alone they were.
The shirt fell away a bit and her bare shoulder stuck out. Her curls fell over the shoulder and she flopped back on her back. If he could hold back from touching her NOW then she simply wouldn't be able to call herself a woman...

*He grinned at her at first, thinking he had a bit of a triumph when she swiftly one-uped him and he cringed a little. First she untucked her shirt, which made him raise a brow. And then she let it fall off one shoulder, which made him fidget again. The fact that she was giving him a seductive voice wasn't helping either. Seemed this was going to be a lot harder then he thought.
He attempted to lay back on the floor again and avoid looking at her when she mentioned she hadn't gotten a good look at his room. His eyes widened a bit and he watched her carefully as she stepped over him, making her way into the bedroom. He rolled over onto his stomach as she she plopped down on the bed. She mentioned the comfort level of the bed and he cleared his throat.* I've always thought so. *He called back, his voice a little higher pitched then normal.
He rose to his feet and started walking towards her when she tossed her sash at him. He glanced down at it and then back at her. There she was upon his bed, her shoulder showing and her hair tossed back, a mischevious look in her face. This was all unfair really, she could tempt him MUCH easier then he could ever tempt her. He stood in the doorway, rocking on his heels a bit as his heart raced.* You know, we are all alone here. No one around to interupt this time. *He said, finally managing to gain some control of his voice as he eyed her. He slowly made his way to the bed and climbed upon it, sitting on his knees as he leaned over her, careful not to make any contact.
He looked her up and down and then pulled his face close to hers so that it was only a few inches away, but he still didn't touch her.* Tell me what you're thinking. *He whispered, locking his eyes on hers as he smiled a little, trying his damnest NOT to give in.*

Evelyn looked to Eric as he made his way towards her and her heart leapt into her throat. He seemed a bit awkward, not compltely himself...it was working and she knew it. Her eyes scanned him sincerely for a moment and her mischivious grin melted away. Instead, her bright honey eyes looked at him as if considering a matter quite seriously. When he mentioned they were all alone she nodded slowly. "Yer right...we're pretty alone I s'ppose..." Evelyn said softly, her heart racing and looking straight up at the ceiling.
Soon she closed her eyes slowly and Eric was looming over her. She could sense his weight upon the bed, making the entire bed sag a bit. She only felt his steady breath upon her face now and she sighed heavily. Her eyes fluttered open as he spoke to her gently. Many emotions ran through her and she bit her lip. She had wanted to do something with Eric...she had been needing to...she knew this time would be different...that with HIM, everything would be alright, but she needed to be reassured of it.
She remained laying there, staring up at his face gently, and then spoke in almost a whisper. Her throat grew thick and she spoke in complete sincerity now. "Ye know what? I'm thinkin'...I'm ready fer this if you are..." she said softly. "Jus'..." she closed her eyes again, taking a deep breath and her hand trembled a bit as if a piece of her still was afraid and reluctant about all this. "Jus'...promise ye'll be...gentle, savvy?" she asked him biting into her bottom lip.
Now it was all up to him. Evelyn knew deep down that he wanted this. Evelyn had seen the nights when he would lay next to her, and his eyes looked so expectant. She hated having to kiss him and then turn away at night. To simply leave him with an embrace and nothing more when she could see he sought it. Although he never pushed her for it and always reassured her of his love for her, she could tell there was a small element missing.
Evelyn wanted this too, but she had held back out of some sort of fear...a fear that perhaps when she HAD finally given herself completely to him that he would feel dirty afterwards. That he wouldn't be able to look at her the same way, that he might change, or that somehow memories would flood back into her worse than before. But at this point Evelyn could care less. She loved him and it didn't feel wrong.
She eyed him curiously and licked her lips a bit nervously, afraid of what he might say or do next. She was giving herself to him completely now and whatever happened after this, things would be different...

*As he gazed down at her he noticed her bite her lip a little and his grin grew. At least he was having some kind of affect on her. Suddenly she took him by complete surprise, saying that she was ready for this. He blinked a moment and looked at her curiously as if he was pondering if she meant it, or if she was playing the game. Either way it made him smile. He knew this was a big step for her, a decision that hadn't come easily to her. They had after all been together a little over a year now, not to mention slept in the same room yet had done no more together then they had in El Dorado.
His heart was racing faster then ever and as she told him to be gentle he smiled warmly and nodded ever so slightly. Their bet went out the window now and he reached out, gently brushing a few curls from her face.* I promise, Evelyn. *He said quietly and then slowly bent forward, closing his eyes and kissing her gently. This was it then, these next moments would change everything for them, they'd be an entirley new level with one another.
In all honesty he was a little nervous as well. Not just because he felt a bit of pressure to make this something Evelyn wouldnt regret, but because he hadnt been with someone like this since Ashley and that had been quite a few years ago. He just hoped he hadn't lost his touch per say. He delicatley undid Evelyns shirt, kissing her all the while and then pulled the covers up over them. He looked at her a moment and smiled softly.* You're sure about this? *He asked, stroking her cheek.*

Evelyn looked to Eric as he gently pulled away curls from her face and she smiled warmly. He bent down and kissed her gently. Her lips met softly with his and she breathed in sharply, as if afraid these first few moments would begin what they would share with eachother and she wanted to make sure it was right. When he gently pulled away her shirt she shivered a bit, not sure if it was from fear or the cold. She reached a hand up to his cheek gently and caressed it with her thumb.
He spoke to her once more and she nodded. "I'm sure Eric..." she smiled warmly and then pulled him towards her to kiss him passionately. The intimacy of her voice was quite different now. It was no longer the simple whisperings of a new love. It was no longer the soft tone one would use when discussing issues of secrecy, it was far more...it was nothing but the language that those in love could comprehend. Only Eric would hear this voice...only he ever could. It had been him that had given her new life, that had melted away the cold exterior and helped her grow from her once darkened state.
She kissed his ear and then closed her eyes softly, losing herself in the moment. There was nothing in the world at the moment but he and her. She ran a hand through his golden locks and clung to him for a few moments, simply relishing in the fact that they could be so close. A small tear escaped a corner of her eye and she blinked away the darker times and instead opened them to see Eric looking at her tenderly and that was enough to reassure her that this was right.
Nothing evil could come of this, she knew it. "Eric...jus'...promise me...promise me...ye'll never forget this...I mean...if we ever part...if somethin' happens an' one of us leaves..." she stated rather quickly. "I jus'...I want this moment to be ours, no matter what...alright?" she asked him placing both of her hands upon his cheeks and then kissing his lips and looking at him warmly.

*He gave her a tender, reassuring smile when she told him she was sure. He had been wanting this for ages now and it was finally here. It seemed surreal...too good to be true. But he was there with her and the rest of the world faded. He melted into the passionate kiss and wanted nothing else in this world but her for as long as he lived. He had lost all hope that happiness existed, or could even last and it had been her who proved him wrong.
He loved her more then anything and he knew this moment was right. He kissed her neck a moment, his hand playing with her chocolate locks. Slowly he lifted his head, his eyes resting on hers as she spoke to him again. He traced his fingers over her face and then down her neck and he smiled sincerley.* Shhh, no one is ever leaving, I promise. And I could never forget this, Evelyn. Not for as long as I live. *He whispered and they kissed again.
His skin tingled and he swallowed nervously as they just gazed one another for a moment. He shivered a little, though it was more from the situation considering he was far from being cold. He kissed her again, his lips traveling to her neck and then back to her own lips. After a short while the moment finally came, things would forever be changed now. They were on a new level, the most intimate level two people could be on. But he wasn't afraid anymore, nor was he nervous.
He knew things would be different but he knew it was a good kind of change. His lips brushed hers again and he opened his eyes, looking at her tenderly as if he expected her to react differently to the sitatuion now, though he was careful to be as gentle as possible. His expression was soft and caring, a warm smile on his lips.* I love you, Evelyn. *He said.* Happy birthday. *He added with a gentle laugh, brushing his cheek against hers.*

::Jack smiled at the Turner's, and ruffled the baby's hair in a playful manner. The baby had the grace to quirk a tiny eyebrow and give him glare similar to his father's. Jack smiled:: "Aye...poor child." He said with a grin. "So whats this one's name then? Or do ye want me to call him "Eunuch Junior?" Jack asked with a laugh.::
::As Mark came over and spoke to him about a dinner, Jack's eyes narrowed just a bit. He wasn't sure what it was, but Mark had him a bit worried. But he had been a member of his crew for a short time, and the man had bleed with all of them. He nodded:: "We'll come then." He said. "Or those of the crew who havn't run off someplace already." He added with a laugh.::
"How's yer...well how's yer wound there, mate?" Jack asked him carefully. "My apoligizes that it happened o' course. Can't always say who ever goes sailin' with me that they come back whole."
::Jack watched Mark leave and frowned just a bit then looked at Will and Elizabeth.:: "Can I hold the little one?" He asked, and surprisingly, when given the nod, scooped the little baby up a bit akwardly at first, then wrapped him in his new blanket::
"Aye....yes, he looks a good deal like you Will....." Jack said quirking an eyebrow up. "hope he doesn't get any o' Elizabeth's bad habits of burning perfectly good rum......." He had the grace to give Elizabeth a grin. "Bootstrap would have loved the little one...." Then he looked at the Turners. "I'm glad yer doing all right..."He studied their faces a bit, noting the faded signs of bags under the eyes and the very slight dishelved look on them both.::
"But it looks as if this little bundle here's been keepin you up..." He turned to eye the baby he held and put on a firm tone of voice: "Here now ye little pirate...ye need to give yer mum and dad some sleep...yer dad already has the habit of doing stupid things...an' without sleep he might end of killin' himself...savvy?"
::The baby burbled happily then reached out a tiny fist to latch onto Jack's braided beard and gave it a good firm yank:: "OW!" Jack yelped and brought one hand up to untangle his beard from the baby's fist, who was looking at him with clear amusement.:: "Not funny, little mate...." Jack scowled. The baby chuckled and turned huge eyes on the pirate::
"Ye know yer never supposed to pull on a Captain's beard mate..." The baby only stared. Jack frowned. "Ye know what a captain is don't ye?" The baby's face scrunched up and glared. "That's a no then...." Jack waited. "All right...jus' no pullin on this here then, and no screaming in the middle of the night for mum and dad then, savvy?"
::The baby yawned and closed his eyes. Jack rolled his eyes and tucked the baby in his arms and rocked him gently.:: "Right...yer gonna be bout as bad as yer dad, aren't ye?" He looked at Will and Elizabeth. "Ye have my pity....."
